Do you guys know what could've been kind of interesting to see in SGE? More specifically, the first book? Tedros realizing he has some possible feelings for Agatha while still thinking he's in love with Sophie.
Think of it like this:
Tedros trying to be closer with Sophie, i.e. trying to talk about his life back in Camelot, any frustrations he's having in his classes or with his friends, or even just wanting to know more about HER, but Sophie only hugs his arm, rests her head on his shoulder, or simply holds his hand and tells him she loves him.
Upon seeing this, his mind and eyes drift to Agatha, who is doing something like getting some homework done early or practicing some magic. Maybe he sees Kiko and Agatha together and Kiko is complaining about accidentally dying her hair green and making it all spiky, so Agatha waves a glowimg finger and fixes it right up for her, explaining to Kiko, who wanted blonde hair, that she's beautiful with her dark hair and Tristan is an idiot if he doesn't see that; not a very "Agatha" line, but I imagine she'd be tired of seeing and hearing Kiko cry and is genuine in her words because Kiko's nice to her and a pretty decent friend.
Maybe a challenge happens where people from the opposite side partner with each other and Tedros OBVIOUSLY partners with Sophie.
Agatha, however, doesn't get a chamce to think before Hester and Anadil equally take a step forward-
AND HORT CRASHES INTO AGATHA INSTEAD-He wants to get Sophie back for using him, and Hester is not taking her away from him.
Even with a possible concussion, Agatha and Hort do well, the challenge being getting across a deep and raging river by walking across a log or something, I'm not good at making up challenges for fairytales.
Because she's in heels and doesn't want to ruin her makeup, Sophie crawls across the log rather than walks, which makes Tedros have to slow down and wait for her.
I should probably mention that this log is close to the water and is cracking beneath them, so THEY NEED TO GTFO the log.
Tedros knows this, but doesn't want to leave Sophie(both because they'll get points taking away for leaving their partner and he's still pretty sure he loves her).
Chekhov's gun fires. The log breaks and both Sophie and Tedros fall in and are swept away beneath the surface.
Agatha follows with most of the students and Yuba following.
Because she's a smart person, can swin, and doesn't care about her looks, unlike many of the other students, Agatha recruits Chaddick, because he's strong, and Anadil, with she has rats, which are CRAZY intelligent, and they find another dead tree or a vine or something to put over the river, thin enough for Sophie and Tedros to grab, but thick enough that it won't break. Anadil kicks her maguc into overdrive and grows her rats to be the size of pitbulls, and Chaddick and Agatha use them to get to Tedros and Sophie out of the river before the tree or vine snaps.
I'm sorry for making Anadil OP, but she's exhausted when her rats are back to their normal sizes, too tired to even stand up as she glares at Agatha and tells her, "That is the last time I'm helping you."
Tedros storms back to the Evers with Sophie trailing behind him, begging for him to listen as she apologizes.
Under water, she had flailed and held Tedros down as he tried to get above the surface, which almost made them both drown.
He doesn't talk to her at lunch, but does notice Chaddick awkwardly commending Agatha for her quick thinking. By awkward, I mean it's almost painful to watch him find the right words to thank this "witch" for helping to save his best friend.
Again, this is an awkward exchange and it takes a few minutes for Agath to understand Chaddick and not get offended.
Tedros thinks on this and considers all the "connection" moments he's had like the goblin challenge where he mistook Agatha for Sophie and when he picked Agatha's coffin.
Sophie notices him staring and asks if everything's alright and why he isn't paying attention to her; water on the brain.
He shrugs, smiles, and says it's nothing, which makes Sophie smile and go back to talkimg, Tedros inconspicuously watching Agatha cackle her giddy ass off when Beatrix accidentally falls in mud while trying to approach Tedros in glass slippers. Kiko laughs behind her hand, but is close to tears. Agatha does magic her clean, but Beatrix still pouts and gets a little mad, even if the squeal she did was nothing short of hilarious.
Trial By Tale happens, events and all, but Tedros doesn't instantly break up with Sophie. He keeps his distance instead.
One night, after he's won and hasn't spoken a word to Sophie or sat near her at lunch, eating in his room instead to avoid her and because he's still a little injured, he is awake and can't sleep, so he wanders the quiet school halls, watching snow fall and reminiscing about home and how his school year's been, maybe even having a made up conversation with his father about what's happened.
HOW COINCIDENTAL THAT AGATHA IS ALSO OUT OF HER ROOM AND LEANING AGAINST A LEDGE TO ALSO WATCH THE SNOW.
This is the conversation between them that follows:
(Agatha turns to look at him with annoyed eyes)"... Here to call me a witch again?"
"Well, as long as you don't punch me again, I won't."
(Narrows her eyes a little mire before turning back to the snow.) "Why are you out here?"
(Tedros leans against the wall facing her and tips his head back, watching the snow.) "Can't sleep. Hester's demon got me better than I thought." (Chuckle) "I still have a bruise on my side from the thing."
(Agatha gulps as she remembers how it broke into pieces and attacked him, but says nothing.)
"How about you? Does the witch have you doing her work for her again?"
(Agatha gasps, surprised by the jab to her friend and at how he figured it out. Tedros's face is mostly expressionless, though he does raise an eyebrow as if to say, 'Go 'head. Prove me wrong.' She relaxes again and shakes her head.) "My room doesn't have a good view of the trees. I bet it's snowing in Gavaldon, too. Harder than it is here, maybe."
"Gavaldon?"
"My village. Where Sophie and I came from. Our home."
(Tedros laughs) "I'm sorry, how long have you two been friends for?"
"Long enough. What about you? What brings the prince of Camelot out to watch the first snow of winter?"
(Tedros's smile drops as he returns his gaze to outside.) "Like I said. I couldn't sleep."
"Why are you REALLY out here?"
(Tedros is silent for a few seconds, biting his lip because he's obviously uncomfortable.) "... Your village. Gavaldon. Do you... miss it?"
(After another second of silence, Agatha responds.) "A little bit. We were better friends there, at least. And I miss my cat."
(Tedros humms quietly as he gives a slight nod, biting back a 'witch' comment.)
"I guess you're used to the attention. Being the prince and all."
(Tedros shrugs and scratches the back of his neck.) "Sort of. Not really. No one ever followed me around like Beatrix. Could you see a maid being on my tail like SHE does?"
(Agatha can't help but laugh, Tedros chucklong with her before his smile drops.)
"I don't know. I mean..." (He leans on the ledge.) "I like being with my mates and all, but... it gets annoying when there's always a couple of girls giggling at you behind the corner. I miss my room, too. And the library. And the court yard. And the garden. And the field."
(His voice breaks at that last one, but Agatha doesn't bring it up. Instead, it's her turn to talk about home.)
"I miss my mom. We didn't really get along, but she's my family, Reaper, too."
"You named your cat Reaper?"
"He took care of our rat and bird problem. You'd be surprised at how many blue jays come to a cemetery." (Agatha's smile drops.) "I miss that, too, the cemetery. It was quiet. And just reading fairytales in my room instead of studying to BE in one."
(Tedros nods at that, no joke or quip.) "It's all fun until you learn how dangerous it all really is." (He is silent for a second, gulping and running his hand through his hair.) "Thanks, by the way."
(Agatha turns to him, playing coy because she's not used to the Evers ACTUALLY being nice to her, save for Kiko.) "For what?"
"The Trial. Saving me. I don't think I'd be here, if you didn't."
(Agatha blushes and looks at her hands.) "No... No problem. I mean... Well... I guess that..."
(Tedros smiles and slips some hair behind her ear and kisses her hand.) "'You're welcome, Tedros. I hope you can repay me, somehow, Tedros.'"
(Agatha almost tells him to forgive Sophie, but instead says something else.) "Can you talk to Sophie? She's sorry about what happened and she really does love you."
(Tedros frowns.) "Love isn't pulling someone down with you when you're under water. And neither is leaving your teammate to fight alone."
"You said you wanted to repay me, this is how. Do you really want to be indebted to a witch?"
(Tedros reluctantly nods.) "Fine. I'll talk to her."
"Thank you."
(Agatha turns and walks back to her room, but Tedros only watches her leave, speaking when she's out of ear shot.) "I don't think you're a witch."
I feel like I could add more, but this will be enough for now.
I hope you guys enjoyed, sorry if this came off as fanfiction-y or any of the characters were a little OP, magic or otherwise. And like I said in my progress post, this is just what I would have done to have Tedros and Agatha fall in love, or start falling in love
Either way, I hope you enjoyed this

LOST      - PART II
Kai Parker x Reader word count : 4 723 warning : possible triggers (around the end of the story) summary : continues the story from part I … *gif by me _________________________________________
Kai moved a little closer to her and Y/N stood up, glancing at her friends with a confused look in her eyes. He couldn’t believe what was happening and couldn’t believe he hadn’t foreseen Seline’s little trick. How hadn’t he figured out there would be a catch? Was this what his life was supposed to be? Endless sea of pain and misery with only a few isles of happiness here an there? Why would fate throw him and Y/N together, allow them to have a child just to crush both of them afterwards? How it was that just when he had everything he could’ve ever wanted – people who truly love him and care for him, he ended up having his happiness slip right through his fingers?    “Y/N? Y/N, it’s me. Kai.“ he got up, taking her hands in his so suddenly she slightly jumped up. “S-sorry. I – Please tell me you know who I am.”    “No.“ she smiled nervously at him, yanking her hands free. “Sorry. I have no idea who you are.” Damon took a step towards them, lightly pushing Kai away. “Oh-kay. How about we get you to a hospital. Caroline ?”    “Hospital ?“ questioned Y/N. “Why would I need a –”    “I’ll explain everything on the way.“ smiled Caroline, taking a step towards Y/N and Kai who looked like sad lost puppy unable to tear his eyes away. “You know who I am right?”    “Yeah. I do –“ she smiled. "Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Caroline and … the only person I don’t know is him.”    “But you do know me !“ exclaimed Kai trying to push his way past Damon. "Get out of my way. Don’t you see what Seline has done ?!” The eldest Salvatore placed his hands on Kai’s shoulders and held him away while he watched as the girl he loves walked through the door. Only after they were gone, the vampire let go off him.    “Listen to me twirp.“ started Damon. "I know you care about her in your own weird twisted way but now it’s not the time –”    “When would be the time, Damon ?“ asked Kai, rubbing his chin. "I get it. You hate me but this is not about me. It’s about Y/N and my son. Tell me when do I get to meet him?” he stared at the vampire for a long moment. “You know what, don’t answer that. There is someone I have to go torture and kill downstairs right now. I suggest you go to Mystic Falls and get that pitching fork. Fast. Because Seline might be our only way to get Y/N’s memories back.” Kai pushed his way past the vampire when Stefan blocked his way.    “Where are you going ?“    “Downstairs to rip Seline’s head off. Weren’t you listening ?” said Kai as if it’s obvious and in a flash he whooshed himself downstairs to the cells. He could barely contain his emotions or understand what half of them meant but the second he saw the siren, anger won over. “What have you done to her ?”    "Awwh you woke her up. Good for you.“ smirked Seline, getting up from the bed she had been sitting on, playing cards. "I take it you didn’t like how your reunion went?” Kai clenched his jaw, trying hard not to enter the cell and get things physical.    “Tell me how to get her memories back or I swear –“    “Your threats don’t work on me, Kai.” she stated. “I work for the Devil himself. I warned you. Did you really think you’d get to wake her up and pick up where you had left off ? Have a family while working with Cade ? It doesn’t work that way.”    “You knew about my son.“    “Of course I did. So does Cade.” said the siren as if it’s obviously. “He knows a lot more than you can imagine.”    “If you touch Peter, I swear –“ Seline laughed. "There it is again, that sentimental attachment. Forget about her, forget about Peter. That boy doesn’t need you in his life. Let them move on. You have job to do –”    “I don’t care. I will get her memories back and I will find a way to send you into oblivion.“
Later that same afternoon Kai did a locator spell, tracking down his son and the girl he loved. On his way there he thought about what he’d tell her andhow he’d tell her. There was no easy way to explain everything that had happened until this day. Their history, who he truly was and all he had done. But he had to try because not being with them, his true family, felt like his heart being ripped out of his chest. Four knocks on the door later Kai tried to dry his sweaty palms in his jeans, nerves taking over completely. Then the door opened. He saw his son for the first time in the real world and everything went away. A wide smile showed on Kai’s face and he knelt on the ground watching the boy lick his jam covered fingers.    “Hi.” smiled Kai, barely able to contain himself from reaching out and hugging him. He was pretty sure if he got the chance, he’d never let go. “Is your mom home ?” His son nodded. “Could you call her to the door?”    “Mommy !“ called out the boy, running away from the door just in time to run into his mother’s arms. Y/N lifted him up and headed towards the door scolding the young boy about eating jam before dinner.    “You.” she stated. “H-how did you ?!”    “Hi. I um –“ smiled Kai nervously. ”– I know earlier I must’ve scared you. It wasn’t my intention. I just I – I want to talk to you. Explain things or at least try to.“ Y/N studied his face for a long moment and stepped aside. "S-sure. Come in.”    “Thanks.“ he stepped inside, looking around. He took one of the pictures on the reading light table and smiled. There she was at the swimming hole wearing her bikini while he used maguc to splash her with a bucket of water while he was taking the picture. "I had forgotten how good you um –” he cleared his throat remember there was a child in the room.    “Oh um –“ she smiled nervously, letting Peter down on the ground. "Why don’t you go get your crayons or a puzzle and we can all play together.” Peter smiled widely and ran off laughing. Y/N ran her fingers through her hair and lightly folded her arms on her chest watching Kai walk around and touch things. Mostly trail his fingers and smile to himself as if remembering something. Her eyes followed him around the room and she couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between him and Peter. It was like her son was a mini version of Kai or something, which made her wonder about so many things. Caroline had explained how Seline had done something to her, how she does know Kai but had been so vague on the ’how’ –    “This place hasn’t changed.“ he said smiling. "Look, I know you don’t remember me and –”    "Do you want something ? Tea ? Coffee ? Bourbon.“    “Hot cocoa?” he said hopefully. “With the chilly spices. I mean, I know its almost spring but –. Is that weird ?” Y/N smiled at him and took out two cups out of the cupboard while Kai leaned in against the kitchen counter not taking his eyes away from her for a second. “And tiny marshmallows right ?” Kai nodded. “That’s how Peter likes it too–” she trailed off.    “Apparently eating jam as a finger food too.“ he reached his fingers in the open jam jar on the counter. "Blueberry. Nice.”    “So –“    “So –” he trailed off, gazing at her and sighed. “Look, I know your memories of me got erased or got locked away somewhere in your mind. I promise I will tell you everything you want to know just I beg you to listen before you jump to conclusions.”    “Conclusions ?! What – oh-kay…“ she smiled, passing him the hot cocoa when Peter showed up with a large box with a puzzle in his hands. "300 pieces!? Wow, you think big.” Peter reached for the cocoa and Y/N lifted the glass up. “Not before dinner.”    “But mommy –“    “No ‘but’s. You know the rules. You spoiled your appetite enough with that jam.” she said watching Kai ruffle the young boy’s hair. “Peter this is Kai. He is um –”    “Your mom’s old friend.“ said Kai kneeling down until his eyes were on the same level as his son’s, taking a peek at the puzzle. It was from a cartoon he had seen before – Cars. "Wow, Lightning McQueen. You like Cars ?”    “Yes !“ said the little boy jumping excitedly, laughing.    “Awesome. So do I.” smiled Kai. “How about you help me find a comfy place for us to do the puzzle and you can tell me all about why you like Lightning McQueen.” Y/N watched half curious half cautious as the boys walked around the living room and sat on the floor by one of the large windows. Kai helped Peter spill the puzzle all around and then without any warning half of the puzzle pieces flew up in the air. A part of her expected Kai to freak out, not knowing if he knows about supernaturals or not but the look on his face told her otherwise. He was in a complete awe, helping Peter start the puzzle and getting so distracted in doing so his son drank half his hot cocoa.    “Peter!“ she warned, sitting on the ground next to Kai who had reached all the way across the puzzle piece pile to get a piece Peter needed. "You don’t look surprised to see him do all this.”    “Oh, the floating objects ?“ smiled Kai, barely taking his eyes away from the little boy. "I um… Around this age you start doing these amazing things and at first its accidental and random… and then you start to figure it out.”    “So you know about magic ?“ she questioned. Kai nodded. “I do. I was a witch before I turned into a vampire/witch hybrid.” he snatched the cup with hot cocoa out of Peter’s reach.  “Nah-uh.” he lifted in the air. “We don’t want your mom to get upset with us do we ?”    “No.“ sighed the little boy, "Sorry, mommy.”    “It’s okay, trouble.“ she brushed her palm against her son’s cheek  and took a sip from her cocoa. Kai grinned at her and for a long moment they just gazed into each other’s eyes then awkwardly looked away. It felt as if something inside her sparked, watching Kai smile at her, his smoky blue eyes filled with mischief just like her sons, but before she had gotten the chance to ask, Peter ‘stole’ Kai’s attention, both of them making funny faces at each other while ordering the puzzle pieces. "Hey, Kai?”    “Yes?“ he looked up from the now almost finished puzzle.    “Would you like to stay over for dinner?” Kai smiled widely at her. “I’d love to. But um – do you mind if I make dinner?”    “You are a guest, I can’t possibly –“    “Y/N –” he said softly. “– I offered and I want to. I really do. So, what do you want !”    “Pancakes !“ exclaimed Peter, jumping on Kai’s lap. Y/N and Kai laughed. "Please, mommy?”    “Yes. Please, mommy.“ said Kai, both he and Peter giving her their best puppy dog eyes. And there it was again – the striking resemblance between them. Maybe it was her imagination but something told her Kai was a little more than her friend. It was the way he looked at her, as if she was the only other person in the whole wide world. Ready to jump and take a bullet for her or something. How his eyes literally turned into hearts like in cartoon shows –    “You two –” she sighed, shaking her head smiling. “Alright. But I am on maple syrup partrol.” Kai laughed under his breath. “Better I do that. You tend to pour half the bottle –”    “Hilarious.“ she laughed. “Let’s go then, maple syrup police.”  *                    *                     * Kai sat by Y/N’s bed gently brushing his fingers against her cheek while watching her sleep. He sighed and his lips curled into a small smile. Earlier he had been supposed to leave and he had left, only later on he had sneaked back inside the house unable to stay away from his family. He knew they couldn’t pick up from they had left off for so many reasons, but was willing to wait and if for some reason he couldn’t get her memories back – he was going to do everything to win her heart all over again because his life without her and Peter no longer existed. Y/N stirred in her sleep, muttering something he couldn’t understand when he heard footsteps from the other room. A moment later Peter showed up and climbed onto the bed with her. Instinctively her arms wrapped around him and she hummed in her sleep. Kai watched the two most important people in his life and couldn’t help but smile. Even though he had barely spent an afternoon with Peter, Kai already knew he loves him and made a promise to himself to be the best father any boy can have. Or at least try to but first –    “Whatever it takes.” he whispered, kissing his son’s forehead before pressing his lips against hers. “I will get your memories back. I promise.” Kai sighed and headed downstairs to grab a pack with pork rinds before lying down on the couch for a few minutes. There were so many things to deal with at the moment. Cade, Katherine, sirens… the fact Y/N’s friends couldn’t stand him and the only reason they hadn’t killed him again yet was because of her and Peter. But the only thing that truly mattered to the young heretic was his son, his girl and finding a way to get her memories back. He closed his eyes and listened to their heartbeats upstairs and smiled. Each beat represented hope. Hope that after everything he might be able to redeem himself and finally be happy. He got so lost in his thoughts hearing the footsteps nearing almost made him jump up from his seat just in time to see Y/N walk right past him and into the kitchen. Only there was something different about the way she walked. Almost as if she wasn’t conscious of her own actions. Immediately Kai got up and followed her, watching her reach inside one of the drawers and pull out a knife.    “Y/N?“ he took a step towards her removing the cloaking spell he had put on himself. It didn’t appear she had heard him or seen him at all. "Y/N? Talk to me. Hey –” Kai watched as Y/N examined the sharpness of the blade and before he had had time to say a single syllable or even process what she was about to do, she stabbed herself in the abdomen. His eyes widened and he caught her mid-fall, pulling out the knife and quickly biting his wrist before bringing it to her lips for her to heal.    “Damn it –“ he muttered. At first nothing happened and Kai held his breath. Then her hands wrapped around his wrist and a sight of relief left his lips the exact same second. Her eyes fluttered closed and he lifted up her t-shirt enough to see the wound closing. Y/N let go of his wrist and looked around with a look of shock and confusion in her eyes.    “What?” she looked up at him. “Kai ? How– what?” Instantly he pulled her towards him holding her tightly against him. “You stabbed yourself with a knife. You know, I knew you sleep walked when you had a lot on your mind but this is a whole knew level of scary.”    “What? No, I’d never –“ she said, pulling away from him. "How are you here? I thought you left.” Kai scratched his forehead nervously, not wanting to lie to her. “I didn’t leave. Not really. I just – I couldn’t.”    “Why?“ she asked curious.    “Because –” he gazed into her eyes. “– you might not have your memories and not remember who I am or what we mean to each other, but … You are my life. You and Peter.” Y/N studied his face for the hundredth time since they had met when suddenly she wrapped her arms around him and he did the same. His lips curled into a smile and he buried his face in the crook of her neck listening to her heart beating stronger than ever.    “Thank you.“ she said, slowly pulling away. She got up and glanced at her PJ’s, lightly gripping on her bloody shirt. Kai looked at her and awkwardly turned away.    “Why did you do it?” he asked suddenly. “Why could you try to take your own life?”    “I – I don’t remember.“ she said quietly, taking off her shirt before pushing down her PJ bottoms which had blood on them too. Kai couldn’t help himself watching her reflection in the kitchen window as she did. Y/N tossed her bloody clothes in the laundry machine and Kai took off his jacket, passing it to her. "Thanks. You can turn around now.” Kai squeezed his eyes and took a slight peek, instantly gulping. Y/N had buttoned up his jacket but it still barely coveredkitc and by all definitions she looked beyond stunning.    “Wow.“ he smiled, taking a step towards her fixing her hair which had gotten partially stuck under the jacket. "You look – so pretty right now I –” Y/N smiled shyly at the ground while Kai took another step towards her until she could feel his breath on her face. He rubbed her shoulders gently, warming her up and fought the urge to pull her into his arms again like he would’ve done under other circumstances. All her friends always saw the monster, the abomination but not her and even thought they had had such a short time together he had never felt happier in his life than during those few months he had her in his arms.    “Who are you really?“ she asked suddenly. "I know we are friends. I know for some reason Peter is important to you which I can’t imagine why since you just met him –”    “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.“ he smiled, brushing his palm against her cheek.    “Try me.” Kai pursued his lips and sighed. “I am … was… your boyfriend until the wedding when I died, four years ago.”    “Four – four years ago?“ she questioned, he nodded. "What happened? H-how did you die?” Kai smiled at the ground and helped her sit on the couch, trying to figure out how to tell her. What if he tells her the truth, the full truth, and she rejects him ? He couldn’t bear losing her … or lying to her.    “It all started in 1994 when I did something really awful and got myself sent to a Prison World for it. Stuck all by myself reliving the same day over and over again.“ he said quietly, looking at her. "I was born without my own magic and to my family that made me the black sheep, the abomination. They didn’t understand it so they isolated me. I couldn’t even touch anyone because they’d always flinch or run away from me. After my and my twin sister Jo’s 22nd birthday we were supposed to do this merge ceremony. Only that wasn’t what my father intended for us. He wanted to wait for the back up set of twins he and my mother had brought up to this world to turn 22 years old because his original twins had a design flaw.”    “Being born different is not a flaw.“ she said softly. "It makes you special.” Kai smiled.   “You’d think that right?“ he said. "Anyways, after figuring out my father’s intentions I snapped and got to spent the next like 18 years all by myself, unable to die no matter what cuz my family didn’t want me to end my sentence early. And then whoops, one day out of the blue while I was walking around Mystic Falls your buddies Damon and Bonnie showed up out of nowhere. Eventually I got out and my family reunion didn’t go very well, I suppose. I tried to do the merge with my twin sister as I was supposed to but instead I got to merge with my brother Luke.”    “Stronger one wins, the weaker one dies.“ she said quietly.    “Wait – you remember ?”    “N-no. It’s just I remember bits and pieces of a conversation from Thanksgiving at Whitmore. But it’s really fuzzy. Its like the more I think about it, the fuzzier it gets.“ she smiled nervously. "So… When did we meet?” she asked curious, scooting over on the couch to make place for Kai to sit. Y/N tucked in a strand of her hair barely able to tear her eyes from him.    “We met around Christmas after I siphoned the spell keeping the supernaturals out of Mystic Falls.“ he paused, taking shallow breath. "And after siphoning all this magic I may have kidnapped Elena –”    “You what ?“ she asked a little shocked.    “– and when your buddies came to get her, you were the one who convinced them not to kill me on the spot like Damon wanted.” he said softly. “We had crossed paths before, at Skull bar on Whitmore campus when I went to see my sister Liv but Christmas was the first time we actually interacted. You walked down the hallway checking the rooms for Elena and then you turned around finding me instead. You always saw good in me, in the sociopath everyone hated and feared. I am not a good person, Y/N. I’ve done awful things but even knowing what I’ve done, you decided to give me a chance. You believed in me when no one did and after the merge when I gained Luke’s empathy things between you and me changed. We fell in love with each other and things happened.” Y/N listened, trying to imagine everything he was telling her. It was so much information for her to process but there it was this feeling deep inside her heart and soul, a feeling which told her he was being truthful. And seeing his eyes in that moment she knew her instinct wasn’t lying.    “But then Damon and Bonnie got the brilliant idea to leave me in another Prison World where I was stuck for a few weeks before returning just in time for my sister’s wedding where I um – I killed myself. And being the all powerful leader of the Gemini coven, that meant taking down my entire family with me.“ he said quietly, still waiting for her to run away screaming or call her friends to come save her from ‘the monster’. "After I turned and your friends found out I had linked Elena’s life to Bonnie’s to get back at her for ditching me in the 1903 Prison World, Damon killed me. But not before you tried to stand in his way. This night changed so much for the both of us and I didn’t know it back then, neither did you but… you were pregnant at the time.”    “Wait –“ she closed her eyes, running her fingers through her hair. "Are you t-telling me you are Peter’s father ?”    “Believe me, I was more than surprised when you told me earlier today when I was in your head trying to save you.“ he smiling nervously. "I mean, can’t you see it? He is like a mini version of –”    “– you.“    “Yeah.”    “You have the same hair, same habbits.“ she thought out loud. "Jam fingers?” she said a little amused and he laughed. “And those blue eyes. That mischievous spark that’s driving me completely insane.” Kai smiled. “You always said that. So, you believe me then?“ he asked hopefully.    “I do.” she smiled. “You just sound so honest and it’s hard to deny what’s right in front of my eyes.”    “T-there is something else.“ he looked nervously at his hands. "What happened to you is my fault. You not remembering any of this, I mean. When I came back, I wasn’t really back. I was still stuck a little bit in Hell and to get a permanent foothold here and find you, I made a deal with Cade.”    “What kind of a deal ?“    “You know the work the sirens do for him? I um … I said I’d do the same. And then I got myself thrown into a cell at the Armoury and … after three days looking for you, you found me. I heard you talk with your friends. Begging them to let you see me or more likely threatening Damon to gouge out his eyes unless he did. And on your way to me, Seline jumped you and put you in a coma. I woke you up which is, you know good because if I hadn’t –” he swallowed hard. “– but the siren had thought ahead and now you don’t remember me. No sentimental attachments. That was the deal and with you and Peter around I –”    “You can’t uphold your end of the bargain. “ she stated. "Kai, do you still –”    “Love you ? Want to be with you and a part of our son’s life ?“ he finished for her. "I do. But with your memories  gone? You got a clean slate. You can start over with Peter, move away and not be burdened by the pain of losing me or any the supernatural craziness in this town. Maybe Seline is right, maybe I should go and –”    “Do you really want to go ?“ she took his hands in hers. "Because you seem like someone who fights for what he wants, doesn’t give up and always wins in the end. I know I don’t remember us. I wish I did. What we had clearly was.. something special and if I was willing to die to save you, willing to ‘walk over’ my friends to see you, to be with you and tell you about Peter. I am pretty sure I’d protest loudly about you leaving.”    “You would, actually.“ he smiled gazing into her eyes. He brushed his palm against her cheek and almost immediately her cheeks flushed and her heart skipped a beat. "Y/N, I promise I will do whatever it takes to get your memories back.”    “Hey, if that doesn’t work… we can always make new ones.“ she smiled. "You, me and Peter.”    “I’d love nothing more.“ he pulled her into his arms, hearing her sigh. Somehow everything felt absolutely perfect in that moment. Then she snuggled closer to him on the couch. For a while they just cuddled, both of them getting lost in their thoughts.    “You know, it’s his birthday tomorrow. Well, today.” she smiled.    “It is ?“ he smiled back.    “Yeah, you know the day he was born I –” she stopped, her mind churning while she tried to remember the day her son came to this world and tell Kai the story. But the more she thought about it, the more it seemed as if her memories disappeared. “What has she done to me ?” she muttered to herself.    “What?“ he asked concerned.    “Seline.” she said quietly, tears filling her eyes. “I can’t – I can’t remember how Peter came into this world and the more I think about it the more it seems like my memory … evaporates or something. I never would’ve tried to kill myself. Why would I?! Why would I leave my son all alone ?!”    “You wouldn’t.“ he wrapped his arms around her tighter, rubbing gentle circles on her back to calm her down. And then it hit him – Seline was still mind controlling her.

Creative wave. And things are picking up
Red School AU/UA Headcanons/Story Arc 2 PART 2!!!!!!!!!
We pick up where we left off with Cal, confused and worried by the exchange between Mare and his father, looking between Mare as she leaves and Tiberias, who's looking back at his people as they wave goodbye.
A lot look sad, but a lot more look like they're trying to hide a smirk.
It gives Cal a sick feeling in his stomach.
Tibe notices and asks if he's alright, since he's been a little off his game for a while.
Cal turns to him with a smile and says he's just nervous because if maguc really does exist in wherever they're going, he's more concerned about being pulled underwater by a leviathan than a war.
Tibe chuckles and admits that that's one of the least of his concerns.
Cal joins him on the upper deck and the two watch the people as the boat departs, Cal sighing and hoping this goes smoothly and quickly.
He's clearly never been in a YA book series.😑
Regardless, Tibe echoes with, "Let's hope so." or "One can hope."
Now, I know what you're thinking, "OP, where's Maven? He disappeared with Elara, sure, but where is he?"
Well, we cut to their conversation, more specifically Maven as he fights a gag as the ship starts moving. Elara asks him if he's alright, and is going to be alright, and he groans he'll be fine. He then asks if she has any plans for when they arrive to they're destination.
Elara corrects him if they arrive, all things considered, but no there isn't exactly a plan.
After somer silence, Maven starts to sort of shuffle in his seat and avoid his mother's eyes, cursing himself mentally as he asks her if they really have to go through with their plan.
Elara proceeds to hold Maven's hand and remind him of how his father ignored him for Cal, kept Cal in his heart when he wouldn't allow the same for Maven. Cal's foolish, suffering from big-heart-with-feelings syndrome and tunnel vision, hardly seeing options that deliver the best results. Maven, however, doesn't have that problem. He'd rather avoid conflict and war by any means, for the most part, and is clever enough to get out of tight situations. Cal only sees a way through an obstacle, not around, over, or under like Maven.
With both her hands wrapped around one of Maven's, she assures him it is for those reasons he would make a much better King than Cal.
He nods and asks, if they continue forward, what will happen to Cal and Mare. Sure they might cause a few problems, but maybe an 'accident' can happen if/when they reach the Endless Woods, one where they accidentally lose them in the woods and SGE, maybe throw them down a well or to a dragon and say, 'c'est la vie, shit happens,' so Maven can step up. If not that, have Cal be proven unworthy for the throne and have Maven be the King.
Elara admits he's got some really good ideas, but if Cal and Mare are still alive, the mistake of letting them live will come back to bite them. As fun as it would be to shame Tibe, for putting Cal on a pedestal, and Cal, because he's the crown prince and gets nothing but Tibe's good graces, it's better that they eliminate the possibility of having Cal and Mare coming back to take the throne.
Regardless, Elara assures Maven that if he can't get his hands dirty, she'll gladly do it for him. A gift from mother to son, as she wants no th hing but the best for her boy.
With that conversation done, Elara stands and tells Maven they're needed on the deck, to show the Red villagers they're powerful because it's the idea that scares people more than the real thing.
Maven nods and says he'll be out in a second, as he wants to make a grand entrance.
Elara smile-smirks at this and hugs him before leaving.
Once she's gone, though, Maven sits back down and sighs, rubbing his face and messing up his hair; between the two of them, he might need his mother to be the one to get their hands dirty. All he needs to do is be stoic and play the right part.
But what part am I playing when I'm with them? He asks himself as he gets up and fixes his hair. Have I even been acting since Mare came here? Maven sighs and leaves the room, making that grand entrance, like he said he would.
He looks back at Elara and then to Cal, the two brothers sharing a nervous smile between them.
One thing is certain: in the end, none of it will even matter. But what will matter? And what is the ending for all of us?
CUT TO THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL!!!
In the Theater of Tales, the students are filing in and taking their seats.
We find a very fidgety Sophie as she wonders why they're assembled in the first place. With a gasp amd squeal, she wonders if the 'mistake' made on Day 1 is finally being fixed, so she can go in Good and Agatha can be in Evil.
Hester sighs that she wishes, because she and Anadil sure as hell will, if Sophie doesn't shut up, though Anadil wants her gone more because of an 'accident' in the dorm that left her rats pink. Sophie snaps she apologized for that, as the three should've left the room, if they didn't want any highlights.
Hester mutters that it's no wonder Good hasn't taken her, and even hopes that the assembly is a public 'expelltion,' so Sophie can leave and never come back.
Dot, however, simply replies that it's probably not for a transfer, but it might be about something else. Anadil and Hester ask what, but Dot shrugs, because it was called by order of the School Master himself.
Sophie isn't paying attention at all, because she's staring at Tedros as he walks in, talking and laughong with a couple of his friends as they take their seats.
They're equally confused about the emergency meeting, but, hey, whatever gets them out of their boring classes, right?
Beatrix spots him and waves from him to sit next to her, but Tedros sits behind Agatha and comments to her that he's never seen the students so chatty of whispery with each other since the fiasco with Agatha and Sophie claiming to see the School Master.
Agatha chides, as a semi-joke, that she wasn't joking about that, but if he wants to keep feeding that fluffy hair of his rather than his brain, that's fine by her.
Tedros laughs and does a mini hair flip, asking if she really thinks it's that fluffy, which makes Agatha giggle a little bit.
Now, from her stand point, Sophie notices this exchange and tries to see more and get Agatha's attention.
All that happens instead is Brone and Mona sitting down and blocking her view. She still tries to look and asks for them to sit elsewhere and Brone responds by getting comfortable whole Mona mirrors Sophie's actions, just to get under her skin.
Back with Tagatha- I mean, Tedros AND Agatha(sorry about that, my hand,uh,... slipped😶), they spot Sophie trying to spot them and Tedros glares at her, before dipping until his chin's resting on the back of Agatha's seat.
Agatha sits back as well and asks if he's still mad about the Trial and what led up to it.
"Define 'mad,'" Tedros grumbles, asking that if the person who promised to help, but left her alone to practically die, would she still want anything to do with said person?
Agatha has no response.
Good thing, too, because as the lrofessors take their places on their respective sides, above, the windows shoot open and doves and butterflies swoop in and circle the center of the stage, between the professors, who all cover their eyes as blinding white fills where the animals are circling, though Sader just smiles and laughs("Oh, this is FINALLY getting interesting!"). The animals fade from the gound up to reveal a man in a silver cloak, his robes white and his suit and boots black, wearing Good, Evil, and the Moral Grey that binds the two. He's also wearing a mask, one that's also silver, but one half is black while the other is white. They can, mostly, see his eyes though, for easier non-verbal communication for us and them.
Yes. This is the School Master, who we the audience know as Rhian; if this was a real thing, we wouldn't know yet, I'm just saying it niw because it's easier that way, and it's less tedious.
All students and the professors gasp, maybe we even see Espada look over at a disappointed Sader, about to ask why he's not surprised, before quickly remembering he's blind as hell and looks back at Rhian.
Tedros is especially flabbergasted, skack jawed as Agatha groans about how she liked what he'd worn before, an a grey and white robe with no shoes.
No one says a word, which is good because Rhian has a very, very, very, VERY important announcement to make:
The royal family of Norta is on their way, at this moment, as he speaks. The King is coming, the Queen is coming, both Princes are coming, and their betrotheds are coming, so everyone needs to behave themselves. That means no pranks, no missing classes, no slacking with hygiene(a stupid rule, but necessary because first impressions are everything and the literal King is coming, so they'd better make it count), no silly rivalries, and, most if all, they must show the unity and balance between Good and Evil, show that, yes they are opposites, but yhere are always two halves to a coin, two halves to a story. What better way to prove that than with the students cooperating.
For now, they'll have to forget who takes the next win in the Circus of Talents or the next fairytale, because fighting will do nothing to help them find peace with the new comers.
The students look each other over and silently agree; even villains know to leave a good impression.
Hester and Anadil are especially reluctant, but Dot tells them that things have been getting boring and these visitors will be a fresh change of pace from what they're used to, seeing as Sophie and Agatha are kind of old news now. She gives Sophie a quick 'no offense' and asks if she's at least got the basic idea of what she's trying to say.
Too bad Sophie tuned out at 'Princes,' which means her dream has come true: Cal and Maven are coming and can whisk her away from Gavaldon and the School for Evil. If this was a graphic novel, we'd see her monologue and smile up at a dream/vision of Cal sweeping her up in his arms as the two hug, both smiling and happy and dressed in white for a wedding, flowersand eose petals surrounding the frame with bells in the background. Her hands are wringed together, a tear's in her eye, and she can barely contain her excitement.
This thought is quite literally popped by Dot, who asks if Sophie's even listening at this point, or heard what Rhian said about them being on their best behavior.
Even though she's upset, Sophie nods, saying she'll be so good, Good itself will look Evil.
As the students file out- Sophie sprinting out to clean up and re-familiarize herself on her makeup and lotions- Agatha is still reeling from Rhian's words, stopping in the clearing on the way back to class to get her thoughts together.
Cal, Maven, and Mare are coming to the SGE. She NEVER thought she'd be able to see or meet them, but she is.
It settles in Agatha that she's going to meet them and cries tears of joy, more than excited to meet who she's been writing to for a month or so, maybeca little less.
CUT BACK TO THE SILVERS AS THEY SAIL!
Good news: They're getting closer to their destination. Bad news: it's storming outside.
The High House children, Mare, Cal, and Maven are all hanging out together because they're bored with a capital B. Ptolemus and Cal are arm wrestling with Olliver reffing, Sonya's doing a cat's cradle, Elane's taking a nap, and Evangeline, Mare, and Maven are playing Poker; they're going easy on Mare because she doesn't know how to play, though Evangeline's so bored she can't tease her for it.
The ship rocks and Sonya stops a vase from falling, Cal gets the leg up he needs on Ptolemus, and Maven holds down the deck of cards as Evangeline groans that this is a long ass trip.
As he shakes out his arm, Cal tells Evangeline it could be anywhere between a week to ten days, so long as they follow the path the School Master gave them.
Evangeline raises an eyebrow at this and stands up, asking Cal if he really believes this school of fairytales exists.
Cal admits that it's kind of late to be asking as he and Ptolemus switch arms and go again.
Ptolemus tells Evangeline to relax and try to enjoy herself; they'll be on the ship for a little while and can't afford to tear each other apart.
Sonya sighs and sets down her cat's cradle, stating that this whole thing is probably just a ploy made by the Lakelanders to invade Norta. It was an attempt made before, so she wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.
As he and Mare set up checkers, Maven states Norta should be fine. Tibe, Elara, Lucas, and Ptolemus are gone, but Volo and the rest of House Samos, House Osanos, House Merandus, and the other High Houses are still there, so they should be okay to leave for a little while. And they're sending telegrams to the Summer Palace and White Fire Palace, to fool the Lakelanders, in case they intercept their messages to compromise them.
After a few minutes of silence, brought to you by Evangeline joining Elane in that nap, Cal and Ptolemus on their feet as they arm wrestle, even throwing jabs at each other, Olliver and Sonya having a staring contest, and Mare and Maven playing checkers for some snacks.
This should all be more strategic-training stuff, but tge idea of these noble and royal kids being normal teenagers is just too gold for me.
Mare and Maven eventually give up checkers to watch Cal arm wrestle for his life, Evangeline and Elane waking to watch as wellwith Sonya and Olliver joining in and they all take they're sides: Maven, Mare, and Olliver bet on Cal winning as Evangeline, Sonya, and Elane bet on Ptolemus.
They're all bored, it's 7pm, they have a week together, so they might as well.
Caught in the fun, Cal and Ptolemus take their coats off, so they still have their shirts on, and psyche themselves and each other up.
What does the winner get? Well, the original prize was slapping the loser in the face, but Cal doesn't want Ptolemus to throw him overboard and Ptolemus, even though he's kicked Cal's ass before, isn't comfortable with slapping the crown prince in the face, so they considered the winner could PUNCH the loser in the face, but decided that was also a bad idea, so the winner just gets bragging rights. And has to do 35 pushups.
Lame prize, but everyone agrees.
The two sit down and join hands before Evangeline slaps a metal band around their hands and in the crooks of their elbows, which keeps them to the table, so they don't cheat, and Maven holds their fists in the middle of the table, fake reffing and saying he wants a clean match, so no roid rage from Ptolemus and no spontaneous combustion from Cal. The two glare each other down, fighting ring style, and then Cal sicks his tongue out just to be a dick.
Then they go at it, arm wrestling as hard as they can with their respective teams cheering them on, a little quietly though, because people might be sleeping.
There's jabs thrown, name calling, and maybe the hint of below the belt, but Cal manages to best the berserker, with the jab of, "If I was still General of the Shadow Legion, I'd make you mop floors for a week," to which Ptolemus replies, "Bite me," and Cal owns him by asking him how he won so many fights against Ptolemus in training.
The two are freed and shake hands, the teams applauding for the show.
I know this part is kinda filler, but it's fun and sillyness for teenagers who are usually not too happy with each other, let them have this moment.
Also, TIME FOR A TIME JUMP MONTAGE BETWEEN THE SGE CREW AND THE RED QUEEN CREW!
We see Hester and Anadil yell at an oblivious Sophie as she does her hair and makeup while they hold the brightly colored rats, who are now wearing bows. Cut to Mare watching the sun rise with Cal and Maven behind her, secretly high fiving at a job well done of cheering her up. Cut back to the school as Agatha organizes her room and tidies up(FIRST. IMPRESSIONS.) Beatrix and other Evergirls watch with a freaked out look, but leave when she looks over at them. Cut back the RQ cast with Tibe checking in on the captain of the ship to see they're going the right way. How do they know where they're going? Rhian sent a Stymph to guide them. All they need to do is keep it in their sight, and they'll reach the SGE in no time. Speaking of the SGE, cut to Tedros practicing some sword tricks and finishing with an introduction of himself. He asks Agatha, Tristan, and Chaddick how that was and the boys say he looked impressive, very flashy. They leave and Agatha asks if "flashy" is what Tedros wants the Silvers to see, if he wants them to see the Prince of Camelot with the arrogance of a pecock and the best at the sword, or the real Tedros, who's probavly just as scared and nervous as they are. Tedros admits he wants to be both, but admits that sometimes there can't be a 'both.' Agatha suggests he just flip the sword in his hand rather than go all out, so he can leave an impression, but still show he's someone important that's worth knowing. He thanks her and she leaves, Tedros smiling as she leaves. Cut to Maven, who's looking over a Pro and Con list and is obviously stressing over it because as much as he loves his mother and the idea of being King, he also loves Cal and Mare, so he's in a stalemate with himself. Cut to Anadil as she pets one of her rats as the other two rest on her shoulders, all three with black fur again. Cut to Evangeline and Ptolemus making sure their metal 'armor' resrs well on their bodies, forearm for Evangeline and ankles for Ptolemus. Cut to Agatha trying to doll up, but failing, which is overseen by Kiko, Beatrix, Millicent and Reena, who meet her eyes and pull her into the girl's Groom Room, where we get a match cut from Reena wiping the makeup off Agatha's face to a Red maid applying Mare's 'Silver' makeup as she reads the note Agatha sent. She accidentally papercuts herself and the calore brothers and Evangeline notice. As Maven distracts her, Cal quickly patches up Mare as a small bit of blood leaves her finger. He also hands her some gloves he found and tells her to keep them on until the cut heals. Evangeline asks if she's okay, faking it muchly, but Mare says she just scared herself. Cut to Kiko helping Agatha with her curtsey and Sophie rehearsing for when she meets Cal. Tedros is doing his own rehearsing, in the form of juggling his sword, sheathing it, and then extending a hand to introduce himself. He ultimately decides to lose the sword juggling and just go for a head bow and a hand shake. Cut to another storm with Maven and Cal giving Mare half-scared, 'sorry' smiles as she glares at them; they both saw some rocks and thought it was a cracken or leviathan. They didn't attack it, but they did scream and it woke her up.
Cut to the courtyard at the SGE, with the Evers and Nevers lined up and both are looking spick and span, even though they're all tired because it's an hour past dawn.
Sophie is giddy as hell, possibly being the only one in the Never line who's actually excited to be awake. Hester and Anadil sarcastically wonder why as Dot struggles to stat awake; Anadil's allowing her to lean on her for the time being until the Silvers arrive.
Tedros sighs and tries not to mess up his hair or fidget, because etiquette, when he spots Agatha, who's pretty as a picture and makes staring forward hard for all the students, even Sophie, who notices Tedros staring and scoffs, "She's not THAT pretty," with a flip of her hair.
Tedros compliments her and Agatha says it was Kiko's idea and Beatrix and her friends helped, because being friends with Sophie obviously taught her shit.
They take their places and watch the entrnce of the school, wondering when the Silvers will arrive. Tedros anickers that Sophie apparently can't wait, and assures Agatha they'll arrive safely. From what Cal said in his letters, that he's a soldier, they should be okay.
Funny he says that because carriages drawn by horses pull up.
Guess who's inside in groups of two? 😁🤩😃
The Evergirls all squeal, though Sophie gets hella excited for Agatha, who's trying to keep it together.
AND SO ARRIVE THE ROYAL FAMILY AND A COUPLE GUESTS LED BY TIBERIAS AND ELARA!!!!!
The students all bow and Rhian makes his entrance, with flare and pizazz, because pageantry.
From her place beside Maven, Mare chuckles, "Show off." before they start approaching.
Sophie spots Cal, and ignores Evangeline on his arm, and waves at him, even though he's in stoic, soldier, prince mode.
He catches her, because she's waving, but looks back at where they're walking, just giving a glimpse because HE'S NETROTHED TO EVANGELINE.
"You saw that girl? The one waving?" Maven murmurs.
Cal remains silent, but gives the slightest hint if a nod.
"That one's Soohie. Apparently she thinks she's supposed to be in the school where the other princes and princesses are."
The party stops in front of Rhian, who's looking absolutely incredible in his suit and cloak and mask.
It unsettles just about everyone, but Rhian bows and magucs a bouquet of navy, silver, and white roses for Elara.
"Your Majesties, welcome to the School for Good and Evil."
They all exchange greetings, though Rhian takes a second to look at Mare, noting hiw she's the only one in gloves and looks paler than the rest, almost... cakey. (Hmmmmmm?)
Regardless, he has the Silver party escorted to their rooms, Professor Dovey escorting the girls, Espada escorting the boys, and Rhian leading Tibe and Elara, hopin they don't mind if he asks a few questions.
Tibe agrees, as long as he can ask his own questions as well.
They leave and Rgian tells the students to return to their schedules and basically keep doing what they're doing, and to leave the party alone because they've had a long travel and need to rest.
He leaves with Tibe and Elara, and all the students instantly start talking, excited, giddy, and possibly in over their heads. Especially Sophie, who frets that Cal didn't see her in her refurbished Never dress that took her all week to make.
Agatha is only enamored want knows that after lessons, she's finding one of the gurls and talking to her, consequences be damned because if they travelled all the way from Norta to the Endless Woods, then there's a chance they can take her and Sophie back to Gavaldon.
Sophie, however, has a different objective, and its name is Tiberias Calore VII.
