What do you think gaster’s kinks are?

okokok i put off answering this for too long bc ITS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION i wanted 2 giv a longer response bc,,, my good sir w. d. gaster is REALLY into some things that sometimes make sans (or whoever his partner is) probably a Little nervous at times loL

for one, gaster is a HUGE sadist.  like he looooves causing pain and seeing the effects of it, and i say this across almost all interpretations of him.  like in the experiment au (referring to the one i write bc there are endless interpretations of experiment AUs lol) obviously he Loves causing sans pain and goes out of his way to do so, sometimes even outside of planned tests/experiments.  in the vampire gaster AU, even if it's a Good version of gaster, if his instinct takes over while he's feeding and he notices the person he's feeding from is in pain/starts to struggle against him, it makes it Harder for him to stop himself and regain control of his actions bc the Literal Predator in him enjoys the pain he causes :'D.  and fiNALLY if it's a more Normal version of gaster where he's a sweetheart, he still,,, secretly likes it, but ofc he only indulges in it in consensual contexts in that case lol, and he also feels a lil bit self-conscious about it.  (i know you didn't ask for sanster headcanons lol but) sans totally loves indulging gaster's sadistic side, and will really play up any sort of pain gaster causes him 'cause he knows gaster loves it so much.  afterwards there's definitely times where gaster gets like REALLY self-conscious about being a sadist because a part of him can't deny that he's Really Concerned about Just How Much he loved seeing sans in so much pain oOPS but luckily he's a sweetheart with self-control so it's not like it ever becomes a problem (at least pre-DT before he loses his sanity but hey *casually inserts link to Fool Me Once here* that's another discussion right)

kind of going along with the sadism here But More Intensely Perhaps, i feel like gaster's really into CNC ("consensual non-consent") roleplay, but he's always certain that his partner is well-aware of how to stop him, and probably makes sure there are Multiple safe words/signals to get him to stop.  of course if gaster is Not a sweetheart/Normal Person, this is a lot more fucked up because he doesn't care about the "consensual" part,,, see also: experiment AU ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ

idk if it counts as A Kink exactly but size differences are another thing he Appreciates A Lot, like,,, not the extremeness of macro/micro so much as He Enjoys Being Naturally Twice Sans’ Size :’D and I knoW IM talkin abt things I Write Specifically a bit here, buT.  experiment!sans in particular is much Smaller than sans usually is (he’s a full-grown adult but gaster,,,  does not feed him well enough.  and the trauma he goes through means his soul is a lot weaker than a Normal sans’ would be, so his soul wouldn’t be able support a larger body either way 😭) and gaster from that au Loves how small he is and how that makes him feel like he has even More power over him ;~; BUT him enjoying his Size Advantage is true with all gasters, just in other cases its more Healthy than in the experiment AU i write about :’D

off-handedly i’m also gonna say i feel like probably Some Versions Of Gaster have a bit of a daddy kink (both ways actually, being called and calling someone), but personally that’s not a kink i’m too compfy with so i don’t think on it much and don’t rly include that in what i write usually  ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ
