Gives nose/forehead kisses: 

I like to make my Kateryna tall. But Matt is still taller (which makes she absolutely loves because nation wise not many men are taller than her). So I think Kateryna is giving the nose kisses because it's quite easy for her to reach his nose, but Matt gives the forehead kisses because it's easier for him to reach her forehead.

Gets jealous the most:

Neither really. They're both chill people and neither give me much possessive vibes. Matt is fiercely protective of his loved ones yes, but not in a jealous kind of way, more like, "you hurt her I hurt you kind of way."

Takes care of on sick days:

They both do and are very attentive about it. Matt has a special soup Francis taught him how to make and gives the best cuddles. Kateryna knows quite a bit of home remedies from dealing with her siblings. Matthew is a bit more fretting when caring for a sick Kateryna though while Kateryna is much calmer.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: 

I don't think either are "beach people." But Matt loves spending time out by the lake at his cottage up north which is kind of like a beach with water and being outside but is much more private and over all has a different vibe. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that Matt would definitely drag Kateryna into the water to wade together to relax after her flight and unpacking.

Brings the other lunch at work:

Both probably have cooking as a love language so they probably take turns. Like one has a busy week so the other will prepare them lunch.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: 

Matthew. He's fairly bold with sex, always open to doing new things. And I think he could make role-playing work. Like in a lowkey way, like pet play or something.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: 

Firmly believes in couples costumes: 

I think both would be down for it depending on the kind of couple costume. Definitely think Matt would love doing a couples cosplay (since he's canonically into anime).

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas:

Technically Matthew because Kateryna I feel would make him a sweater or something so she isn't spending a lot beyond yarn and her time.

Remembers anniversaries: 

Both easily remember.

Brings up having kids first:

Matt I don't think really wants kids, but is open to it if his partners are.

Nationverse I think nations are infertile because in my mind, I can't see the kids being immortal without representing something and I think nations pop up from the ground, not coming from intercourse. And unlike with Gil being able to feed off nations' immortality I just don't see the kids being able to because they were born mortal while Gil was born immortal and became mortal. So as much as I think Kateryna would like children and probably brought the daydream up to Matthew at some point, she knows it's just that: A daydream. Unless a micronation pops up. But currently Matt's micronation (Aerican Empire) is a teenager and tries to distance himself from Matthew.

But human au, Kateryna would be the first to bring it up. Matt has to think about it a bit because he never really considered it, but he agrees in the end.

Kills the bugs:

No killing bugs on Matt's watch. He loves every aspect of nature including bugs so he brings them outside always.

First to define them as a couple:

Both? I don't think they really announce it. More like they start holding hands and doing romantic things and people pick up on it.

But I think Matt asked to make it "official" though they both had been being flirty with each other leading up to it.

Who hides their guilty pleasures longer:

Hmm...probably Kateryna. Growing up in Western society which often shamed women for not fitting into a very narrow mold of a "proper" woman probably messed with her. She especially had to try hard because of her body (specifically her larger chest) drawing a lot of male attention, which probably made people consider her inherently promiscuous. So even the most innocent guilty pleasure made her feel shameful.

Nowadays she can be more open, with less expectations, but sometimes it takes a bit longer for her to open up about things like this.

South Korea x Aerican empire. Let me list their reasons for compatibility.

1. South Korea likes the country of Canada. Aerica is in Canada.

2.SK hangs out at Canada's house frequently. Who is he visiting? Aerica.

3. They are both teens.

4. Aerica is shy and reserved when out of his costume. SK is super loud and confident. Opposites attract.

5. They both love video games.

6. They would be cute together. TRY TO TELL ME THEY WOULDN'T BE.

9,12,15 for a matthew ship

9. Do they discuss big issues? Religion? Marriage? Children? Death?

Both aren't big on religion. Matthew is agonistic and the closest he gets to being spiritual is connected to indigenous cultures (ex. everything in nature is alive/has a spirit. I would need to do more research though to go in depth about it since practices and beliefs vary from tribe to tribe) (I do subscribe to the headcanon Matthew is at least part indigenous mixed with European blood. So I guess I could could say he's Metis which is a group of people that formed when Indigenous and European [specifically French] settlers had children together). Jan on the other hand is atheist. Religion doesn't come up often other than maybe when Matthew tells a few stories related to folklore. Jan can respect it.

They're still too early in their relationship to consider getting married (or at least as married as nations can get). They're content with where they are at. If they could, they would have moved in together, but their nations so that doesn't work. Instead they get together as much as they can.

Both would rather not have children. Not that they can really have kids as nations. Though I guess Matt already has a kid with the inclusion of the Aerican Empire (though Aerican Empire is on the older side of micronations so it's not like he's raising a little kid currently)

Their nations so death isn't really something they need to worry about. Sure they die, but they come back. Doesn't make it easier to watch of course and they'd like to avoid that at all cost. But it's not something they think about, especially since their nations are in a time of peace. The only time they ever properly talked of death was when they first met in WW2 when Jan was recovering after the liberation.

12. Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Any kind of honeymoon?

Like I said before, their relationship is fairly new by nation standards. Also they've got a poly thing going on where they have each other, but also a few extra partners. (Ex. Matt has Carlos and sometimes even Kateryna depending on the au I'm working with. Jan has Kiku). So I don't know if they'd even want to get married (or as close to married as you can as nations).

If this was a human au and I made the monogamous (because in some aus I'll do that), I think Jan would be the one to propose. He gets a really nice ring because he spoils Matthew like that despite Matthew saying he doesn't need all these gifts. But Jan is stingy and giving all these gifts is his love language. He'd propose while on a hike, at a really nice look out place.

They'd of course have a honeymoon, somewhere north and secluded in the wilderness.

15. How adventurous are they?

Both are pretty adventurous. Matt loves to explore the wilderness, Jan loves to explore the sea. They love hiking, Matthew has taken Jan out on ATVs, Jan has taken Matthew out sailing. They also love getting each other to try something they enjoy even though its new.
