on christmas eve, a smartly dressed villain violently takes control of a tower which has something very valuable hidden inside a vault. he verbally spars with the protagonist whilst his henchmen work to get through the many complicated locks on the vault. the protagonist triumphs and saves the denizens of the tower when the villain falls from a high window to his (presumed) death.
