ai fic callout post but all the details they pull for "proof" that it's ai are things that you do in your own writing
#except for the 'claims ot have written 350k in four weeks while employed full time with nothing pre-written' that one is fishy#but like. 'fingers worked with quiet precision' isn't ??????? a ridiculous signifier?????#quiet precision is in fact a fairly common descriptor. it's flowery language you don't need to be literal about it#'they use 'fire' to describe things a lot' have you seriously never done like ctrl+f and realized you way overused a word#me rereading fortune's favor -- the parts that i published!!! -- and realizing multiple sentences contain the same symbolism word twice#anyway. can't wait to get accused of using ai to write just because i'm not like. terry pratchett or whatever#this has been a post#not necessarily defending the writer because i'd rather chew glass than read a s/lavellan fic so i'm certainly not making my own judgement#maybe it is ai. i don't fucking know. honestly my money is on it probably is#but i think maybe establishing a standard of like 'You have to be a perfect writer all the time or else you're obviously fake' is like.#a bad thing maybe. especially for fic which is. by nature. written by amateurs and will. reflect that.
