Inazuma and Sumeru have such huge problems, Liyue is dealing with their loss of a god, and then there's Mondstadt whose biggest social problem is alcoholism.
#analysis#me reading mika and diona's lore: hmm#me playing some daily commissions: hmm#me rereading some limited world events: hmm#it calls out to this dumb part of me that wants to see someone write a prohibition era mondstadt#full of jazz and speakeasies#dark detective genre trying to catch a serial killer#hahaha#that would never work but it's fun to think about#mondstadt without alcohol is not mondstadt at all#i am genuinely curious when it comes to their alcohol loving culture though#seems neglect is a common theme in the families of mondstadt#HMMM#this is making me want to write an analysis on mondstadt culture in general#not counting bennett it seems families are not particularly close#like with eula and her family#barbara and jean whose parents split#thoma's mom that had no qualms sending her son away to inazuma#kaeya and diluc are their own separate thing#yet paradoxically mondstadt is the warmest nation in teyvat#blood ties are not necessarily close but their bonds transcend blood#like with this last event like i just absolutely adored amber's thoughts towards collei#there is a lot of emotional maturity in mondstadt's inhabitants#HMMMMM
