i feel like y'all complain a tad bit too much abt the changes on tumblr currently and make a huge fuss abt the smallest things when some of these changes aren't even bad, just different.

yes, the tags on mobile aren't anymore on the lower right corner and yes, we all accidentally click on the community label bc of it, but now the post page on mobile looks almost the same as on desktop - it's much cleaner and better put now and they finally added a read more button as well. it will take a bit to not click on reflex where the community label is now but god chillax for a sec, you'll get used to it and overall the post page is much better now.

yes, the new editor isn't great for the quality of gifs for gif makers but 1) we always knew the new editor will replace the legacy editor at some point, and 2) the quality issue is a themes issue. tumblr even highlights which themes are better compatible with the new editor and won't fuck up the quality of your gifs. i understand the frustration but it's rlly not like there's no way around it.

yes yes tumblr live evil boohooo just ignore it? also tumblr live is what you make out of it. you could use it to stream your art for example? the camera doesn't actually force you to show your face and make tiktok 2.0 out of it. you can make out of it whatever the heck you want, so chill my god.

idk y'all cry so much abt the smallest things when at the same time there are so many improvements too. yes, exchanging the home page with tumblr mart was actually bad - and then tumblr fixed that fuck up within a week. yes, not being able to click on prev anymore must be frustrating for y'all but 1) on mobile, clicking on the prev url didn't even work before sometimes - still doesn't - and 2) just stop the prev tags nonsense you never should've started in the first place (but that's just a me thing, i know)

tumblr is, all things considered, much better now on mobile and desktop, and staff actually works together with xkit to make it better still! so all this whining abt such little changes that aren't even as bad as ppl make it out to be are kind of annoying. "don't fix it if it isn't broken" ok but it was broken. y'all just didn't see it.
