i'm never gonna understand comics man. i've decided to just accept it and read some anyways
#i'm reading zero year rn#which wasn't on my to read list but my library has it and like what the hell#plus i just read court of owls recently so why not#it's funny tho how my retention of comic stories is like. so so bad. i think there've been some refs to CoO so far and i (just read CoO)#am like. that sounds vaguely familiar. but idfr#i think it's like#i've always been interested in emotional and relational stories as opposed to like. action-y plot kind of stuff#so i remember the conversations with lincoln march and between bruce and dick but Brother i dont even really remember how the story ended#maybe i'm dabbling in the wrong genre but then again there's a lot in batman that interests me. he IS very emotional#it's just. not overtly family drama or. idk#talking to myself publicly until the end of time girl you have got to get a life
