Played around with mods & dyes but ended up mostly just dyeing vanilla stuff lol
I wish there were a way to preview how an item looks when dyed, bc I don't like having to go back & forth (as well as wasting dyes, but I've seen a mod that makes all dyes infinite or whatever so I'll probably just download that).
I did also download Blender today. If/when I get around to figuring out how to use if, you can bet I'll be making my own meshes/assets/whatever. I wanna give Tav a proper scarf (and maybe her own fancy circlet? None of the ones in the basket mod really fit her, of course it doesn't help that I keep going back & forth between "she's a warlock make her look magical!" and "she's an outlander who completely forgot she even made a pact with an eldritch god, she's gonna dress more practical than pretty")
ALSO it would be nice if 1) there was an option to skip the opening cutscene bc I like playing around in the character creator & 2) if you could save *while* in the character creator. Basically I wanna use BG3 as a d&d version of The Sims
#tmi#i also downloaded a ton of dice mods haha whoops#dice hoarder irl AND in game#i haven't quite settled on the color palette for Bastille's clothes but i do like this palette#maybe i'll change her horns to be more bluish...#of course that's another thing: being able to change how the character looks after creating them#i know there's mods for that but one i found was like you have to start them over from scratch instead of just editing them#& another mod was just swapping out the hairstyle#if i could figure out how to fiddle with the file(s) for her character model...#i'd also like to give her horn from the “horns of faerun” mod#*horns
