I'm once again lost

Do I work on my own stories, on my own word, for the sake of it? Or because I desperately wish for an identity?

I want to stand on my own and create on my own, yet I feel so held back knowing I will remain fettered to His hands, to His shadow. For He made me whole yet emptied me

Is the hassle even worth? Do I give it up all and follow the current? Or should I keep fighting until I fall for none?
