*searching up the numeral prefixes wikipedia page and twirling my hair while scrolling to the latin ordinal prefix for 90* hey there cutie :)
#i was trying to come up with house surnames for characters in a different franchise#and i know tazmuir must have spent hours staring at this chart#every character name even the ones rhat don't initially sound like it come from one of the stems#(to someone only familiar with western number words)#like chatur and asht are from the sanskrit prefixes for numbers with 4 and 8 in them respectively#zeta is the only name that doesnt come from a prefix but its the sixth letter in the greek alphabet so#maybe all the nerds who took latin already know this and im late to the party but i only thought the 'nona' part of nonagesimus#was the part related to the number nine#not practically her whole name
