Marina and Eight talking in Octoling language.... it's been so long since Marina has been able to, so she's really happy for it! And Eight is probably still learning Inkling language, so it's easier for them

Maybe seeing them chat excitedly together would get Pearl to think she should learn Octoling language, after all Marina made the effort of learning her language, why shouldn't Pearl learn hers!!

#granted that's assuming Pearl doesn't already know it #but she gives me vibes of not having thought about it #like Marina did the hard part and they can understand each other fine so she never bothered #it's not malicious she just didn't think of it #and studying probably isn't her forte so 🙈#i know the reason Eight doesn't talk is because they're a protag but bear with me #maybe Pearl asks Eight and Acht to teach her.... so she can surprise Marina #im rambling but i love pearlina ok #pearlina
