Sala account mein paise bhi nahi hai ke khana order kar saku😐

Khadi and Village Industies Commission Celebrated 77th Independence Day
Khadi and Village Industries Commission celebrated the 77th Independence Day with gaiety and patriotic fervor today. Shri Manoj Kumar, Hon'ble Chairman, KVIC hoisted the national flag at KVIC, Head Office, Mumbai and a tricolor rally was organised by Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Vile Parle (West), Mumabi, which was led by Shri Manoj Kumar, Hon'ble Chairman of KVIC.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon'ble Chairman, KVIC said that this tricolor flying in the sky is not merely a piece of cloth, it symbolizes the sacrifice, struggle and dreams of innumerable freedom fighters, who believed in the power of unity and unwavering determination and dreamed of building an India, a great India, with the values of justice, freedom, equality and brotherhood. Today the dream of all those sacrifice is being fulfilled under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. He said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji Har Ghar Tiranga-2.0 and Meri Mati, Mera Desh programme has lit the flame of nationalism in the entire country.
Talking about the glorious history of Khadi, he said that from independence to sovereignty, where on one hand Khadi became the pride of the national movement under the leadership of revered Bapu, on the other today it is the pride of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that Khadi, which Bapu made the strongest weapon of struggle against the British rule during the Swadeshi movement, now after 2014 the 'craftsman of modern India' and the 'creator of self-reliant India', Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji has made Khadi most powerful, efficient and successful means of poverty alleviation, artisan empowerment, food security, women empowerment and unemployment eradication. Hon’ble Prime Minister not limiting Khadi to a cloth, has made Khadi a weapon for poverty eredication, hunger, unemployment, development of rural India, women empowerment, upliftment of artisan. Hon'ble Chairman, reiterating the words of the speech delivered by the Hon'ble Prime Minister at the National Handloom Day celebrations organized at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi on 7th August 2023, said that "Khadi is the cloth for the one who will be proud of himself and one’s country". But at the same time, for the one who weaves the dream of a self-reliant India and gives strenth to Make in India, Khadi is not just a cloth, it is a weapon as well. Mentioning the contribution of Khadi and village industries in the economic progress of the country, he said that Khadi will now become the Brahmastra of India's progress along with weapon.
The Prime Minister himself told from the dais that before 9 years the turnover of Khadi and Village Industries was between 25 to 30 thousand crores rupees, but today it has crossed more than one lakh thirty thousand crores rupees. In the last 9 years, an additional Rs. 1 lakh crores have been invested in this sector and that amount has gone to the poor, dalit, backward, very backward and tribal brothers and sisters associated with Khadi and Village Industries sector in the villages, which has played an important role in getting them out of poverty and providing food security. As per the data of NITI Aayog, 13.5 crore people have come out of poverty in India in the last 5 years.
Quoting the achievements of Khadi and Village Industries, the Hon’ble Chairman, KVIC said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the wages of Khadi artisans have increased by about 233% since 2013-14. In the financial year 2014-15, where the turnover of Khadi and Village Industries products was Rs. 33 thousand crores, it has increased by 306% to reach the highest level of Rs.1.34 lakh crores in the financial year 22-23, which is the best achievement ever.
Similarly, in the financial year 2014-15, the production of Khadi and village industry products was Rs. 27 thousand crores, while in the financial year 22-23, it has reached to Rs. 95 thousand crores with an increment of 48%. In the last 9 years, the production of Khadi fabric has also seen an unprecedented growth of 260 percent, while the sales have increased by 450 percent.
The Hon’ble Chairman further said that Khadi and Village Industries Commission has also established a new milestone in employment generation in the country to eradicate unemployment, as a 'weapon'. KVIC has created more than 9.5 lakh new jobs during the financial year 2022-23 with an increment of 70% through Khadi Vikas Yojana, Gramodyog Vikas Yojana, SFURTI Yojana and Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP). Talking about the last 9 years, more than 50 lakh new people have got employment through our schemes so far.
Talking about the possibility of some new schemes in the future, the Hon’ble Chairman said that for the first time Khadi denim has been manufactured with the help of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to popularize Khadi, which will be available at Khadi stores very soon. Similarly, the silk cloth “Lotus Silk” manufactured from the stem of lotus flower by the artisans of Manipur will soon be made available for sale in the market. Apart from this, KVIC is going to launch a new scheme namely Kushal Karigar Vikas Yojana. Under this scheme, toolkits will be provided along with the training to the electricians, plumbers, chaiwalas, mobile and AC repairing and maintenance, coming under the service sector. In his address, he talked about the launching of Gramin Silai Samriddhi Yojana very soon to provide maximum opportunities to women power in the rural areas with the inspiration of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Under this scheme women will be provided training as well as sewing machines.
On this occasion, Shri Shirish Kedare, Member, KVIC; Shri Vinit Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, KVIC; Shri Pankaj Bodkhe, Financial Advisor, KVIC; Dr. (Smt.) Sanghamitra, Chief Vigilance Officer, KVIC; Shri Satya Narayan, Jt. CEO, KVIC and a large number of officers and employees of KVIC were also present.
