I feel so weirdly separated from my own first language and I don't understand why... I can make small talk in Hindi but I'm not too open when speaking in it, I don't even think in Hindi anymore. But if I talk to my friends in English I'd have to be physically restrained to make me stop yapping but a lot of my peers are not as comfortable w English or some think it's pretentious/annoying for me to talk in English (which it is) but at this point I don't even know anymoree.... And some days I'm not even good at English either, especially when it's in a non academic setting😕 so I just sit in class saying nothing at all
