Rewatched some Tale.spin today and remembered Pearl, then did some mental gymnastics imagining how her and Aspen would interact since they are/were both pirates

I think there'd be mutual respect that they are/were high-ranking members of their crews and “YOUR CAPTAIN DID WHAT / YOUR CAPTAIN IS YOUR HUH”
