MARK HOLLIS CI LASCIAVA (Londra, 4 gennaio 1955 – Londra, 25 febbraio 2019) Si ricorda oggi la morte di Mark David Hollis, cantante, musicista e compositore britannico, noto soprattutto per essere stato il frontman e principale autore della band Talk Talk. Fu lui che, al fianco del membro non ufficiale Tim Friese-Greene, portò a evolvere lo stile della band dal New romantic degli esordi a una musica notevolmente più astratta e complessa, assimilabile a quello che successivamente sarebbe stato conosciuto come post-rock. Nel 1998 realizzò il suo unico album da solista, l’eponimo “Mark Hollis“, accolto molto positivamente dalla critica. Da allora si ritirò dalle scene, se non per sporadiche collaborazioni in album altrui. Mark Hollis è morto il 25 febbraio 2019 all’età di 64 anni dopo una breve malattia.
