I do think she was really in love with him. Maybe that’s an unpopular opinion in the fandom, I don’t know. But, the way she says “A love story?”, she looks really hurt, jealous, as if she never thought Marbod could actually love someone. 

And how she looks at Flavus like “Fuck you, you’re fucking my fucking husband, you little Roman shit” but very held back, very internalized XD

Discussion:

Do y’all think Odarike knew Marbod was gay?

Cause when she chats with Thusnelda, the way she says « his children » half chuckling, I think we all got that none of their daughters are his. But, she looked and sounded so jealous when she realised he loved Flavus, I was a bit confused by her reaction.

Obviously no one knew about him and Flavus (not even Ari), so maybe she just accepted the fact he didn’t like women but not that he could love a man?
