Quick question about your alternates in arms au, can the alternates purr?

They don’t purr exactly…but they can make a variety of other sounds when they let their guard down!

I like to imagine the alternates can make VHS and analog television sounds, but that they only do it if their guard is down. So when they’re tired, irritated, or not thinking. A little risky since they can get found out because of it….but humans are pretty good at “dismissing” weird things. Ironically, their desire to explain things leads them away from the truth.

I am actually obsessed with the aia au you made, you mentioned two people that alt Cesar talks to, is the church guy the preacher or alt Gabe?

Your powers of observation proceed you, it is indeed Gabriel! The Preacher I imagine to be a woman, and I don’t have a human design for her yet…but here’s some rough sketches of Gabriel in his human disguise-

Gabriel “O’Brian”, a local pastor at St. Gabriel’s church in Mandela county. He’s an enigmatic figure who is seemingly good natured, except there’s always something…..off about his smile. He likes to joke his name and the church’s name must mean his job as a pastor is fate…

Lately though, not many have been coming by the church, seemingly losing faith in the power of God (…wonder whose fault THAT is). As a result, he’s not getting the donations needed to keep it running or pay his salary, so….I made Gabriel work at a coffee shop. It’s called Paradise Brew and it’s just as much a customer service nightmare as you think. If Gabriel didn’t already hate humanity, boy is he rooting for them downfall after the third customer screamed at him for adding no ice in their HOT drink.

…They’re probably dead now but it’s the principle of the matter.

Why unfinished? Well, I originally planned to create detailed profiles with more information, but I’m saving that for later - once I’ve finished writing the ending, lol.
