Even teachers... no, especially teachers. In my experience, teachers and academia as a whole are the most vicious in these cases

there are some autistic “traits” that people find really annoying but that are inherently kind

#women are the worst tho #because they often get manslained to oblivion and when you make the mistake of making a woman feel stupid you're gonna need therapy #however when alcohol is involved there's a 50/50 chance they'd either laugh and move on or punch your face in #the rural population is something else entirely #make person from the rural side feel even the slightest like they're stupid and you might just end up buried under their house #again if alcohol involved there's a 50/50 you won't end up in a hospital #i'm half joking half not like these things depend on social context and generations too #younger generation is a bit tamer but again depends #depends in which part of country you're in too #for the record: i suspect i'm not neurotypical so i had my fair share of overexplaining to people around me #but for some reason people see me as either naive or inoffensive so i mostly got a free pass lol
