Sketches based on my FAVOURITE project sekai concept EVER by @the-one-that-weeps that when the characters enter their SEKAIs, their bodies adapt to the worlds as well! I also took some inspiration from the notes and my own concepts :DD

Thought it'd fit the Halloween spirit a lot!

↳ 🎧 • When you started to lose passion on music and distancing yourself from the others, they all thought you were just having bad days and wanted time for yourself. Mizuki might have been the first to reach out to ask if you were okay and why were you distancing yourself?

↳ 🎧 • Once you have explained to mizuki that you are slowly loosing passion on music as the reason to be distance because you didn’t really enjoy it a lot making song. Once the others were told about this they might understand thinking you find other ways of finding yourself as everyone is different as they will probably only get your opinion on some songs sometimes when the group is undecided about it. Or might ask if you still want to make music/help with music with your remaining passion incase you still want to find it, they will gladly make music with you a lot even if you didn’t find your passion that you lost, it was really fun them making music and memories that they will remember and cherish <33

↳ 🎧 • If you did lose complete passion on music, they all understand and would only as your opinion like I have said and just try not to bring you into a lot of their work into you since you don’t want to anymore. They will still be your friend tho! You help ena with her paintings getting inspiration by you and making an impact on her development. You helping Kanade trying to take care of herself slowly in her own pace, going to her house every 2 or every few days checking if she atleast try doing something for herself like cleaning up just something around her room, getting food so she doesn’t go hungry, or even seeing if she has gotten water! You slowly help mafuyu with her opening finding herself on trying to doing things like going to aquarium that knows she likes, observing what things she doesn’t like or is fine/neutral doing. Helping mizuki slowly trying to find the courage to express themself to others by trying to pretend your a totally random person, or even a classmate, trying to do a conversation to start being friends!

↳ 🎧 • niigo won’t be very pushy on you losing passion on music, I believe they will be very understandable since you all are friends and you visit in the empty sekai a lot so they enjoy your company a lot, being friends with them is amazing as you get to discover a lot of things about them you didn’t know! Overall, Kanade, mafuyu, ena and mizuki won’t be mad, pushy or anything worried cause they understand everyone finds themself in different ways so they will understand a lot and try helping you if you find passion on something else even if they don’t know anything about that certain thing/topic, they will listen to you and help <33

Niigo members went on a trip to find more inspiration for songs and since it was holiday from school even Mafuyu found a good excuse to convince her parents to let her go. It was a fun day in the nature, even though they had to walk for many hours they also took many photos, found inspiration and relaxed from the normal routine.

Usually they were very nocturnal but after all that work they were all pretty tired, Kanade was the first to fall asleep and Ena was sleepy but wanted to post selfies on Instagram for the likes.

“Enanan, you look super tired, why don’t you do to sleep?” asked Mizuki entering the room after taking a bath.

“Mh? I’m not that tired! And I need to finish some business.” she replied still looking at her phone.

“Where’s Yuki?”

“Dunno, she said something about getting water?”

“I understand… Then I’ll go to look for her. And go to sleep or you’ll get wrinkles!”

“Wrinkles?!” Ena put a hand on her own mouth because she almost shouted, fortunately Kanade was still sleeping as a rock “Tomorrow I’m gonna throw a pillow at you, go get water and leave my face alone!”

Mizuki couldn’t help but laugh while closing the door and then they went on the first floor to the vending machines but Mafuyu wasn’t there.

“Excuse me ma’am… Did you see the young girl that is in my room? She has long purple hair.”

“Oh, yeah, I saw her. She went for a stroll in the garden, she needed some air after the hot spring bath.”

“Thank you so much. Have a great night.”

It wasn’t difficult to find her, Mafuyu was at the centre of the garden near the pond, sitting on a bench.

“Hey, Yuki! Are you okay? The lady at the reception told me you went for a stroll.” without waiting for a reply they sit beside her.

“Hey. Yes, I’m fine. I just went to take water but then I noticed the sky…” she glanced over them “The moon and the stars are really pretty, aren’t they?”

“Yes… Here in the middle of the nature the sky is clear. It’s beautiful.”

“I’m happy… That I got to come here.” despite what she said Mafuyu wasn’t smiling, she had the same blank face as always.

“What do you mean? It’s not like we can’t come here again. It’s just the first step of our journey.” Mizuki tried to make the atmosphere less tense but they could feel something was coming up.

“I don’t know… Maybe? Next year I will have to study hard to go on a good university and being a doctor is not easy, I don’t think I’ll have time to go on trips like this…”

“You still want to do a doctor?”

“That’s what I’m supposed to do.”

“…”

Mizuki was sure that Mafuyu didn’t actually want to be a doctor but what others wanted still seemed to be more important for Mafuyu than what she actually wanted to do.

“What’s wrong?” Mafuyu looked back at them since she felt their gaze.

“Nothing it’s just… I really wish you could do what you wanted, Yuki.”

“What I want?”

“Yes. You may not have noticed it but… I feel that the Yuki I met on internet… The Yuki I met the first time after we went on the Sekai… And the Yuki I have here with me right now are all different. You changed. In a good way, of course, and I hope that whatever you will decide to do with your future I will be able to see it with my own eyes as I do right now.”

Their smile was really sweet and Mafuyu felt a bit confused when she felt her chest tighten a bit “Changed? I don’t know… I feel pretty much the same. I still really don’t know what I like or what I want.”

“And that’s okay. You can’t change so suddenly but I notice that you’re trying.”

“Trying… Amia, sometimes I wonder what you see that I can’t see.” Mafuyu lowered her head a bit, looking at her fingers running on the fabric of the yukata.

“I see Yuki, That’s what I see. And you know…” they put their right hand on her head, caressing her hair “I’m proud of you.”

The gentle and reassuring gesture made Mafuyu look at them again, a bit surprised by what they said but somehow she felt as if a warm wave started from her hair and arrived at her heart.

“...Thank you.” she didn’t know what to say, but it was more awkward to stay silent.

“You’re welcome. And now what about to go to sleep? Tomorrow we have another adventure and you need to be active, I will not excuse you for being tired.”

“Yes, maybe it’s better. Are the others already asleep?”

“K is sleeping like a rock, Enanan was posting something on Instagram but she was super sleepy so I don’t think we’ll find her awake.”

“I understand…”

They came back on their rooms and after a ‘Good night’ they both went to sleep on their futons trying to not wake up the others.

Mafuyu couldn’t fall asleep though.

“I’m proud of you.”

Why? Why was Amia proud? Mafuyu really couldn’t understand what they meant but somehow she felt so warm. She rolled on her side to look at the other side of the room where Amia was sleeping, she put a hand on her head and she still could feel their hand and see the warm and kind smile.

In times like this Mizuki felt like the small flame of a candle: the world inside Mafuyu was empty, sometimes a bit too dark and cold, but when Amia was with her it was as if a small light appeared in the middle of nothing, bringing in warmth as if it was a big bonfire and not just a candle.

This idea came to my mind after I saw a quote from a yume account on Twitter:  “Imagine your comfort character(s) gently kissing your forehead or patting your head and telling you they’re proud of you” and I decided it was perfect for MafuMizu so I tried to write a small scene with them.
