I initially did sleep on this song but it's grown on me in the past few weeks. My eyes well up when he sings "You little boy, you little boy" The stirytelling goes Insane. WHAT DO YOU MEEN IT'S ABOUT A YOUNG BOY WHO GOT INTO A QUEER RELATIONSHIP, SO FULL OF APPREHENSION WHICH ULTIMATELY ENDED BY HIM GETTING BETRAYED. AND HE'S SO ALONE IN THIS. HE FELT LIKE PREY AND NOW HE'S SO ALONE THAT HE'D RATHER BE PREY. Also the analysis of 'counting alluvial plains' stung a little too close oh my god.
