WHAT LOTC COULD HAVE BEEN RAMBLE

Here's a random fun fact about LOTC's I guess

It was ACTUALLY supposed to be a TSAMS au not a DCA au

Like I had a bunch of lore tidbits Like sun as the celestial of the sunlight zone and moon as the celestial of the midnight zone (these things were kept)

Lunar was...this is a mouthful...the celestial of the sunlight zone at moonlight

I do NOT remember where eclipse was named for...possibly the twilight zone bit can't remember...

Kc was the celestial of the abyss zone (also like...lunar could sit in gos hand cause KC was MASSIVE even for celestials)

And even had a possible idea for including the blood moon twins...and had set "birth" events (tied to states of the sun and moon)

And there was a guardian of the Celestials that was...well an imortal deity created to oversee them on the mortal plane by their creator...

And I had ideas for their funky family tree mess (or a VERSION of it at least cause that things...it's a mess :' D)

And lore on BONDS (familial bonds in this case)

And eclipse Funked things up big time for himself with his bonds with the others and well....his dumbass has to deal with that

Buttttt... I was also just getting into writing my JDCAU stuff and wasn't sure about....that so made LOTC a dca au instead

I love my lil Celestials they're my lil colorful beans that i can write all cryptic for and plot silly qpr moments and straight up silliness (sunlight is....they are very head empty....but midnight let's them get away with stupid stuff to make them happy, it's great)

But it's funky to think of what their au COULD have been instead

lunar phases

i'm bored so this is just a ramble / notes of the basic info (backstory, personality, powers) one of the current main groups. it's clear some are fleshed out much more than others but it be like that... 😭😭😭😭 anyways

this is the og main group. name was probably supposed to have a meaning but now it doesn't rly but that's just the group name now lol....

need to give these bitches surnames: sel, lexi, allison, aaron

selena / sel - the organizer and leader of the group. extroverted, friendly, and naïve. she's from the moon and has always been fascinated by the earth, and she wants to make it a better place. she has gravity manipulation powers. she was born on a new moon, and has a mother, father, and younger sister.

lexi (alexis) - the former icon of a wealthy city rampant with corruption. as per tradition, the icon is randomly selected from the baby girls living in the poor outskirts of the city, and should the mother accept it, the baby will be taken away and raised in the capital building to live a lavish and comfortable lifestyle. the icon is denied knowledge of or reconnection with family members living in the outskirt to represent a total rags-to-riches transformation. and so this was lexi's fate, given away by her sick mother who wanted a good life for her daughter, acting as the beloved, youthful face of the city. but as lexi is slowly becoming more and more aware of the sinister underside of the city, a pretty girl (selena) invites her to join her group. lexi follows her curious nature, running away with selena and co. she can have a posh and somewhat intimidating air to her, but she's ultimately kind and has a strong belief that the strong should protect the weak. she's trying to become more accustomed to common life, and a better person who can protect the people she cares about. becomes kind of a dumbass around sel, who she is smitten for. lexi does not have any natural powers, but has a high tech device implemented in her chest by the city from which she can summon a weapon (usually a rapier or, more recently, a hatchet). she has high mobility, flexibility, and knowledge of swordfighting from her high-caliber education with dancing and fencing classes.

evelyn walker - evelyn lives in a wealthy town not too far from lexi's homecity. she's a highly intelligent girl from a well-off family, but has poor mental health from the stressful and competitive environment of the school because of the town's culture that praises intelligence as defined by numbers and prestigious schools. her home environment is also stressful, with evelyn being praised by but distant from her parents, her awkward genius older brother absent from the house, and her older sister being ostracized by virtually everyone in town besides her siblings, including their parents. as such, evelyn has developed rather unhealthy coping mechanisms. selena's invitation seemed like an escape hatch from all the stresses, and she accepted it. evelyn's introverted but strategic, ultimately the brains of the team. she has the power to make triangular constructions of purple hard light.

allison - a girl from a common town who lives with her single father, her mother passing away in her early childhood. allison inherited her mother's ability to summon and manipulate fire, though her control over it is often subjected to her emotions. allison is a loud and confident girl who loves her friends. however, she has her own insecurities and not the best time dealing with negative emotions as a result of her powers.

aaron - a childhood friend of allison's. he seems to have no parents. aaron is an angelfae, being able to summon wings and harbor celestial light magic. he's trying to understand himself and find a group to truly fit in with, which are some important reasons he joins selena's group. he's an awkward but nice boy.
