Her smile falls immediately, replaced with a forced imitation. Luna barely is able to hold her tongue; Cassian is a dangerous man and Luna knows if she were just a random civilian, not attached to Miguel at all, he could easily hurt her. But Miguel’s protection wasn’t all encompassing - why else would Cassian be so openly, casually rude? Luna doesn’t want to push her luck by snarking back at the man.

Instead, she opts for killing with kindness. Through her tense smile, Luna muses, “Well, I’m sorry no one else could do the job for you, then. I’m sure you have more important things to do.” It’s the nicer way of saying “You didn’t have to come by, you know.” “Are you dropping off supplies or do you have something else to do?”
