Thank you all so much for your kind replies to that post where I told I was afraid to make new friends and/or mutuals in the natm fandom! I'm so happy to see firsthand how nice and welcoming people here can be. I hope all these positive experiences I've gotten here will help me heal from all that crap I had to go trough and I don't have to be afraid anymore.

#it's so nice to see how welcoming ppl can be in fandoms #i felt the same way in the previous fandom i was in until those three bad apples came along #i know you propably think they were anons but i've never actually let ppl send anon asks to me #the harrassers were all grown adults in their thirties #and one of them openly sent me threatening messages from two blogs they had created just to harrass me #luckily i've learned my lesson that not all ppl are nice and safe to be around #and i will avoid ppl in the future who behave the same way they did and block them if i must
