Doing something so domesticated wasn’t how he expected to spend his days, but he had to admit he was enjoying it. He smiles, knowing that Ondinea meant well and that they were simply excited to cook for them. The nymph still wasn’t used to the vampire needs and it showed. He lets them finish before speaking out, he had been patient.

“You’re so cute baby, really cute. I love it when you get all excited about cooking. How about this. I have a little snack right now and then you can bake the tart when we get home?” He gets in the car with Ondinea, settling there. The vampire holds out his hand for them to take, that same almost intoxicating smile on his face. “Will you help me, baby?”

baby. it makes their metaphorical feathers shiver with satisfaction. ondinea had a chirp just for junghwa, and it seemed like the petname was the non nymph equivalent to their melodic call.

"i enjoy cooking. even better if it's for you..." they explain shyly. eso knows eso can... babble. and their vampire had been nothing but patient with their propensity for chatting. ondinea takes his hand easily. "yes--! of course. now? would you... would you like my wrist? or my neck? as long as i can drive afterwards, okay? so-- so not too much, please. and as long as no one sees..."

for two reasons. 1) the last thing they needed was for a human to see such an act 2) ondinea was painfully shy about the whole ordeal.
