I'm having so much thoughts about Chainsaw Man part 2 rn- dunno what else to do with them other than dump them here after the latest chapter just dropped.

Also this is all just MY thoughts and how i see it, is okay if you don't think i'm right or if you want to add your own take, it keeps things interesting tbf.

Yoru, the war devil.

I just gotta say after this chapter i loved Yoru's character even more, even though i am still pretty resentful for what she did to Denji on that alleyway — which i am not going to talk about here btw—, i gotta say that Yoru being the Gun devil's mother is something that really got me thinking.

We all know that in part 1 the main focus was the Gun devil to a certain point before it all went downhill because of Makima, which only adds another layer of significance for Yoru being the Gun devil's mother.

Yoru clearly CARES about the Gun devil and Tank devil, she cares enough how to NOT turn them into weapons to fight Chainsaw Man at first even after constantly insisting of wanting to defeat him. Sure you could argue is a different type of care and not an actual attachment, after all the few horsemen of the apocalypse we've been introduced to were all pretty much selfish and apathetic to others who didn't had any kind of usefulness to their plans.

Makima wanted Pochita so she used about everyone that Denji cared and got rid of them, Famine most likely helped kill Nayuta to get Denji to snap so Black Chainsaw Man could appear. These were all acts made out of cold blood for their own benefits one way or another, even more we could add that Makima basically killed part of her family, the Gun devil and forced them to become a fiend just for Denji to kill them again. And if Fami really had something to do with Nayuta's death she also killed part of her family without a hesitation.

It's enough to say that Yoru turning her children as weapons now and not long time ago is more of a last resort than out of care for them. But let me also add something to the picture:

She said it. It requires guilt to create a powerful weapon. I don't think is just how powerful the devil might already be but also the amount of guilt Yoru might be feeling for turning said devil into a weapon, in her conversation with Asa she also states that her comrades were all eaten by Chainsaw Man with a look that to me just says that she cared for said comrades to an extent, just enough to make Chainsaw Man vomit them back.

But then again she said the way she could beat Chainsaw Man was by creating two powerful weapons, more than the ones Asa already makes: because they are made out of sheer guilt and attachment.

Even if there was a possibility she wasn't using ALL of her children's body for the weapons there was still the risk of them never recovering from her actions, so it adds up to the guilt for Yoru. We could also make it a possibility that in part 1 the reason why the Gun devil attacked Pochita in the first place was to protect their mother, since we already know that Chainsaw Man ate part of war before in order to weaken her and probably that's when her children come into the scene. Plus we know Makima was also trying to fight him for his attention at that time, so he was basically just jumped by a good bunch of powerful devils.

Sure he gets back up everytime but we already know he's not able to entirety win right away when there's more than one powerful enemy going against him, so at some point he must have been actually defeated and that leads to the whole beginning of part 1.

Probably from that point on when Pochita mets Denji a whole bunch of stuff was happening that we don't know, like probably Makima deciding to use the Gun devil as a way to get close once more to Chainsaw Man or Yoru having to take time to recover while thinking of a way to defeat Chainsaw Man.

You could also say that the reason why the War devil might feel guilty for using her own children as weapons is because she's using Asa's body at the moment, since Yoru already stated that she could feel the same things Asa feels. There are frankly many valid points to believe Yoru doesn't actually feel guilty or attached to her children in any way other than just ownership, after all another requirement for her to turn things into weapons is that Yoru has to believe they are hers.

But would you really look at me and tell me that she doesn't actually feel anything to her children at the moment of this conversation?

Even Asa calls her out asking if she couldn't just have turned the Gun devil and Tank devil as weapons before, even more she brought up the fact that Yoru could just chose to not fight Chainsaw Man at all, after all everyone already started remembering war enough, right? No need to keep chasing after a goal that probably won't make her happy in the end, with a bigger repercussion...

Except that she doesn't. This is a mix of competitiveness and survival, the War devil KNOWS that Chainsaw Man could easily defeat her if he actually wanted to and almost did so, he managed to eat part of her and weaken her once. Nothing could guarantee her that she is "safe" from him, besides it already is pretty obvious she wants to win against him for real, she wants him down and gone not just kill him once but the next moment he's alive again.

She's a horsemen of the apocalypse, yes, one of the most powerful devils there is. But she's not safe either way, i'd say one of the other main factors for Yoru to feel the need of fighting Chainsaw Man is because of the Gun devil.

In part 1 we were already shown that the Gun devil was incredibly feared at those moments due to their attacks, since they're War's children then that also want it or not contributed to Yoru's recovery to be able to go search for Chainsaw Man in part 2, but then we got Makima defeating the Gun devil and everything that happened after that with Aki. My best guess is that the Gun devil appeared in hell again but far weakened after everything that happened, sure people still feared him but i don't think nearly as much as they did before the whole fight with Denji since the Gun devil isn't mentioned anymore in part 2 (as far as i am aware, feel free to correct me if wrong.)

Which if Yoru did cared for her children then that makes her recurring to such lengths as to share bodies with Asa have a lot more of sense, she thought that with all of Asa's guilt over almost everything would make her powerful enough to defeat Chainsaw Man plus people remembering War's terrors, so no need to use her children and enjoy the victory.

Yet that didn't happened, she had to use them anyway and that's what happens.

Even she asks this question to herself before doing so: Would i really go that far?

The answer for more heartless that it seems is not too out of character, after all in wars sacrifices are inevitable just think about the many people that die because of them, people that really have nothing to do with the beginning of said war. That's why Yoru went with it because she wouldn't be the War devil without making sacrifices for a victory, even if the sacrifice was using her children as weapons for a fight that probably won't make her happy in the end.

A mother often has to make sacrifices for her children, in war sacrifices has to be made too. In this case? Yoru just had to make the biggest sacrifice a mother could make in a war that she alone decided to continue.

Bonnie, the former Agent Jackalope!

The last of the original Glamrocks, with a superficially mellow personality. He’s calm and calculating during missions, and through his polite but approachable attitude fostered a tendency of others underestimating him. 

The only people who know that there’s more to him are his friends - Freddy, Chica, and Foxy. Foxy loves annoying him because it’s the easiest way to get him to snap, and then the petty and snarky Bonnie comes out. Gossips like a house-wife, and pulls no punches. None of those punches are ever serious, he’s petty, not a full on asshole, and Foxy (the most common target due to his habits) laughs at them more than anyone. It’s in good humor, and Bonnie very much enjoys being the entertaining complainer.

He’s still also friendly, it just happens to be the act he has to put on during work most often too. The snark is catharsis, but most of the time he’s happy to sit back and just joke around with his friends. 

When Foxy first started asking questions and directing criticism towards the higher ups, Bonnie didn’t necessarily disagree - but he also did not feel like openly antagonizing his employer. Not when he knows what kind of dirty work he does for said employer, and thus knows that they are not above underhanded techniques to silence threats. So he, like Chica, tried talking Foxy out of his approach, while Freddy was the most vocal in his defense of Fez. 

And then Foxy “died”. 

Bonnie did not believe it - but he questioned himself, too frozen in the realization that his friend is gone. Is he simply stuck in denial, or is there really something fishy going on? He finds no evidence in the building Foxy was last seen in, but he knows Fez cleanup works fast and well. For a long time he doesn’t do much, just running through the same routine trying to make it through every day while doubts gnaw at him. 

But when Roxy comes in, much too soon after Foxy’s death, his suspicions rear their ugly heads again and he starts investigating in earnest. He’s quiet about it, quieter than Foxy. First, he talks to Roxy. Asks her about her age, when she started training, when Fez recruited her - and he does the math. It does not paint a pretty picture. He thanks her, quietly but genuinely, and when he notices how uncomfortable she is about the entire topic, he shoots her just a quick “You did nothing wrong.”

Despite being quiet, his investigation starts drawing management’s attention - and Bonnie sees the writing on the wall. His missions get riskier and more often end in fights and require cleanup. He starts moving his assets out of town. When he gets put in charge of a high stakes mission, teamed up with a newbie (as promising as he is), he’s immediately on edge. It’s not that he doesn’t get along with Monty - but there is tension between them, with Monty’s urge for quick action clashing with his own calculating attitude. Bonnie is the one to suggest a split, and Monty doesn’t disagree - they both feel like they need to cool off.

Bonnie gets ambushed, though he dispatches his assailants with minimal injury. But he realizes this is an opportunity that he won’t get again so quickly, and next time could be too late. There’s already splinters of his outer shell lying about, but he knows Fez will want more evidence of his “demise”. 

His left ear, already damaged, loses its top half, thrown towards the next wall where a few blood splatters already mar the paint. His loose left finger, in the opposite direction. For good measure he rips off the dented plating of his left arm too, where he shielded himself against a heavier blow. Because he knows Monty will be at risk on his own, he sends one last signal through their communicators, before crushing his on the ground, too. 

Now he has to be quick. He carries off the knocked out attackers, only leaving an ambiguous fight scene. 

And then agent Jackalope officially is no more. 

Bonnie keeps tabs on Abra Fez, though he now has to jump through many more hoops. He moves cities, focusing his investigation on his friends. Are they okay, or has Fez hurt them for his insubordination? He doesn’t like hearing about them grieving him, but doesn’t dare reveal himself to them either, remembering Freddy’s vehement protest at the suggestion that Fez does not care for its agents. 

And then Monty joins the Glamrocks, and despite Bonnie not disliking the guy, he hates it. Hates that he was replaced so quickly, hates that his friends will move on without him, hates that he can’t do anything about it until he has solid proof. 

So he stops checking up on the Glamrocks, and digs deeper. Who’s behind the code name “Hare”, leading Abra Fez from the shadows? What really happened to the late head of Fez, the one who recruited Freddy and built the agency from the ground up? When did animatronics become tools, and when did those tools become expendable? 

The answers aren’t pretty. 

And despite everything, he still doesn’t know what happened to Foxy. 

When his savings start running out, Bonnie takes a job at a local bowling alley, and has to relearn how to be social. He’s fumbling a bit more in the casual environment, but finds that the one or other snarky comment isn’t actually considered a faux pas, and then he starts enjoying it. It’s not the same, it’s not his friends who are all living without him, but it’s something, and beggars can’t be choosers. 

He’s boisterous and happy for everyone to see, but he never talks about his past and refuses to actually give out any information about himself. His coworkers appreciate him for his humor and ability to handle even the roughest customers while staying calm himself. When they ask where he learned that, he only ever declares he’s had practice, and nothing else. And then he goes home as soon as his shift is over, with no one knowing his address or even phone number, and never joins in on any after-work hangouts or the like. 

When Bonnie’s off work, and not charging, he continues investigating Fez. He deals with many shady individuals, still getting into the occasional fight when someone has second thoughts about sharing information with him, though he has managed to stay low enough to not draw Fez’ attention again. He makes a name for himself as a private investigator, and while not entirely accurate, it’s not wrong enough for him to tell anyone otherwise. Those gigs are much rarer, but he can be convinced to investigate other people’s matters, too. 

For a few years, that’s his life, and he figures it’s the best he’ll get. 

Though, then… Then Fez makes moves to settle in another city, and Bonnie hears about it. He hears about them being beaten back, and he starts wondering if perhaps he’s gone about things the wrong way, not seeking out allies. 

He prepares for another move. When he quits his job many are devastated, and he acts like it’s a regretful development. But for the first time in all those years, he’s buzzing with anticipation and something more - maybe hope. 

Hope of finally making headway against Fez, hope to finally find a new safety net, hope to perhaps even see his old friends again, and maybe his continued existence together with everything he has already collected on Fez will be enough to convince them to quiet, or at the very least believe him. 

But for once he’s also filled with a lot of anxiety restless energy, knowing that he’s just as likely to be found by Fez as by any agency opposing them, but it’s a risk he willingly takes. Turns out he’s done hiding, and done only playing pretend at being happy and social - he wants friends, his friends, and he wants all those things Fez originally took from him. 

And, well, once he does move, and gets to investigate in town… There are some very unexpected revelations to be had <3

I finally landed on a Siuan theory/analysis re: 2x07! And it works prettyyyy good if I do say so myself. At the least it’s plausible. Probably. No book spoilers because I haven’t read the books, this is a show only theory. Read on at your own risk!

Background: So, at first I was on board the “Moiraine and Siuan planned this whole thing daes dae’mar blah blah blah” train. Mostly in my emotional turmoil after watching the episode initially. But, I was forced to dismiss that pretty quickly in light of some of Siuan’s lines, namely “That boy must not leave this city.” And “You lied to me.” She has to believe both of those things are truths to say them, so her somehow being secretly on Moiraine’s side still and them having conjured up some plan together doesn’t match up with either of those lines. Sadly. So that’s pretty much out. If this ends up actually being the case, I look forward to how they explain themselves out of it.

Second theory is of course that it’s playing exactly as we’re seeing it, which ultimately does work and when I can take the emotional dagger to my heart out of it, is objectively really excellent storytelling and character work. These are two women, trying to do the right thing, trying to save the world, and their love is sacrificed at the altar of duty. Duty over love is a theme that’s absolutely pounded into us with many characters, so it makes sense. (As Lan points out to Rand also in this episode, “you were born to protect this whole world, not just the people you love.” That’s kinda where Siuan and Moiraine are at too.) Plus I love the idea that Siuan comes face to face with the very real if unfathomable possibility that Moiraine has been turned to the dark based on her actions and general cageyness for the last six months, and that’s really what motivates every choice Siuan makes, up to and including invoking the oath rod. Really great stuff, brilliant subtext, two thumbs up.

However. There is a third option. *rubs hands together gleefully*

I heard some people saying Siuan could be under Compulsion, which definitely piqued my interest, because we’ve had those breadcrumbs dropped earlier in the season already and it would be nice foreshadowing for this. But most of the conversation I’ve seen seems to be around Liandrin being the one to do it. Probably because we’ve alluded to that already this season, so we know she is capable and has done it before. A tool in her dark friend toolkit, if you will.

But Liandrin being behind it never sat quite right with me either. Compelling Sheriam to change some logbook is one thing, but controlling the Amyrlin seat, for hours if not days to make this happen, is quite another. Idk what kind of strength Compulsion requires, but I bet it’s not nothing. And as powerful as Liandrin is, I don’t think she’s stronger than Siuan Sanche, or would be able to pull one over on her fast enough to make this happen. Plus, Liandrin is off doing other shit in this episode. If she was really implicated I feel like she’d be at least lurking around the other Aes Sedai. Maybe I’m wrong… but I don’t think I am lol.

So, who does have the power to do this? Who else has the means, motive, and opportunity to make this happen? There’s really only one other person.

The other scene stealer of 2x07, ya girl Lanfear.

There’s several bits of dialogue in this episode that back this theory up, both Compulsion in general and Lanfear being behind it, so let’s run from the top.

First, some general evidence that Compulsion might be happening.

Rand and Siuan meet, Rand gives his cute little introduction, Lan has prepared you I see, what else has he told you about me? Then Rand gives this line:

“That you’re not exactly what you seem.”

Interesting choice of words, writers— I mean Rand. He could have said a lot of things there, even directly repeating some of what Lan told him about Siuan, but no. And if you’re already thinking Compulsion, that’s a pretty strong nudge from the writers to PAY ATTENTION to Siuan Sanche, because maybe what she’s doing is not what it seems, even the person she IS in that moment is not what it seems. (Even if the surface level read totally makes sense and still works thematically!) This also wouldn’t be the first time that the writers seem to use the characters to say something/poke fun that’s more directed at us than the actual plot. So I definitely wouldn’t put it past ‘em.

Second, and this is kind of a throw away, but when Moiraine and Lan come in later, Lan says “this isn’t what we agreed to.” This is pretty easy to explain away, but I think it’s still notable that Lan and Siuan had some kind of conversation earlier, perhaps on their way to Cairhien, about what they were going to do in regards to Moiraine and/or Rand. And at that point Siuan at least implied that she was going to help Moiraine and Rand, not cage him. Again, pretty easy to sidestep with aes sedai truth-lies/evasions, but it’s also possible at that point she actually had no intention to cage Rand. Because she wasn’t under Compulsion yet.

Alright, still going in chronological order here, so now we’re getting into some Lanfear-did-it specifics. And I do love-hate this one.

Moiraine and Siuan are arguing over what to do about Rand, then this:

Siuan: “Can you imagine, Moiraine, if one of the forsaken got their hands on him?”

Can YOU imagine, how absolutely giddy it would make Lanfear to make her say this, to Moiraine’s FACE, knowing full well she’s got her hands all over Rand and then some? Come on, son.

Ok jokes aside, here’s the kicker.

Rand and Moiraine in the cell in the sun palace, Rand meets Lanfear in the dream world, Rand goes up to her and says “I’m in a cell, the Amyrlin’s holding me.”

And Lanfear says, so smug, “I know.”

Um, girl? You know?? HOW do you know exactly? I definitely dismissed this on the first couple watches as oh, Lanfear just knows things, but like, no. The Forsaken aren’t omniscient. Now, could she be teleporting herself here and there and spying on everything that’s going on and that’s why she knows? Sure. But that’s boring and I’m on a roll here so let’s keep going.

She knows, not just that Rand is in a cell but specifically that it’s the Amyrlin that’s holding him there, because she herself Compelled (Compulsed?) Siuan to do so.

Ok so motive. Why would Lanfear do this, why spend the effort?

1. It's definitely fun for her. 2. She sets up this scenario where she gets to “save” Rand from the big bad aes sedai, he has no choice but to ask her for help, she LITERALLY shows up in her white knight in shining armor outfit, and she ultimately hopes this helps convince him she actually cares about him and wins him over to her side. (As she tries to tell him in the finale, I’m the only one who cares about YOU, not just what you can do. Mhm sure girl.) And 3. She gets to actively pit the rest of the aes sedai against Moiraine, who she absolutely hates.

And in doing all of this SHE MIGHT NOT EVEN HAVE KNOWN about Moiraine and Siuan! That's just icing on the fucking cake! It works either way, because if she did know by forcing Siuan to tell her about their mission and she somehow gets Siuan to admit she loves Moiraine (however that interrogation goes, idk the specifics of compulsion but the show writers are playing fast and loose with the rules anyway), well now it’s game on baby because Lanfear will absolutely be using that info to wreck both of them. If she didn’t know, and her whole motivation is the first three reasons above, then she definitely finds out at the end of 2x07, because she was definitely lurking around the corner listening to that whole exchange between them and it made her fucking night.

And finally, there’s Lanfear’s last line of the episode (I think): “Lucky for you, a broken Amyrlin is more useful to me than a dead one.” Double meaning alert! Siuan is literally lying broken on the ground in that moment, but maybe she was already “broken” well before that, being under Lanfear’s control. (And there’s your Egwene/damane parallel too, damn.) And therefore Lanfear knows exactly how she’ll be “useful” to her.

This whole strategy by Lanfear could also be forecasted from a couple episodes back, when she asks Ishamael why he didn’t just kill Moiraine at the Eye. He basically tells her the same thing, that Moiraine (I believe he uses the words “aes sedai” specifically) is more useful to him alive than dead. So mayyyybe that gave her this idea to manipulate an aes sedai for her purposes, except while Ishamael is playing the long game, she goes full tilt and mind controls the fucking amyrlin seat.

On Siuan’s side of things, every bit of dialogue she has/action she takes makes sense under the assumption that Lanfear is influencing her, because she would “believe” everything she’s doing. Now I don’t know exactly how Compulsion works (in case you couldn’t tell), if it’s like someone else actually making you believe/do things you wouldn’t normally do, or if it’s more of a you’re trapped in your own head and not in control of your body sort of situation, but it works either way. And boy let me tell you, if this theory is correct, that makes Sophie Okenedo’s performance even more impressive than it already is, because it really works either way: Siuan is genuinely doing what she believes is right for the fate of the world and has her stone cold face on to do it (until the very end) OR her “real” expressions/feelings are mostly being masked/faked by the Compulsion and what she’s being forced to do by Lanfear. It tracks! Either way! Insane!!

The other big reason I think this theory works is because of what we find out in the finale — we learn from her conversations with Bayle Domon and Ishamael that Lanfear has been pulling the strings to make this whole season happen all along. (Cue It Was Lanfear All Along music lol). She sold the bits of cuendillar (although I don’t really get why… just for the money?), she seduced Rand, she played Ishamael, all of it. So why not this too? Why not control the Amyrlin seat, if she has the capability and means to do so, especially if she means to take Ishamael off the board and sort of become the de facto leader/strongest of the forsaken. Not really their leader, I know, but it’s a good power play for her is what I’m saying.

Finally, I think this could put us in a REALLY fun place for season 3, with stuff happening at the tower. We could have scenes with Lanfear, Siuan, and Liandrin. We could have Siuan acting increasingly more malevolent or just off somehow, and while most sisters are going with it, Alanna or Leane maybe starts to get suspicious (more Leane please!). We could have Moiraine send the wonder girls back to the tower, ostensibly to continue their training but also because she needs informants to know what Siuan is planning now (which kills her obvs), and because I would love to see them Scooby doo their way through some shit, the three of them figure out what’s going on and somehow (with Alanna’s help?) free Siuan from the Compulsion. Idk but it could be so much fun you guys.

Or, I could be totally wrong. Maybe this is totally not how Compulsion works. I don’t mind either way. This was a super fun thought experiment. But man, if this theory is in any way correct, this will be some of the most twisty TV/dialogue writing I’ve seen in a minute. And, you know, I’m trying to make fishwives happen here! Cmon!

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

Stupid fucking cowboy. I just can't feel bad for him. He did this to himself. Asking for forgiveness doesn't fix what he did wrong. It doesn't undo the damage. Even apologizing for his hateful attitude and cruel words in the last chapter kinda fell flat. So I for one am glad that Mom said no to them getting back together. Yes forgiveness is absolutely possible but it's like breaking a plate. It doesn't undo the brokenness.

I am curious where you're headed with her already having someone else in the wings. Clearly not someone Wyatt has met yet? Although I doubt that Jack will ever do anything to ever risk Wyatt's happiness. And he should be the one allowed to make his confession to Wyatt when he's old enough. That sort of thing is necessary in order to minimize the damage it might do to their relationship. Keeping it a secret would be wrong and a potential landmine.

I dunno if you've been paying attention to the latest drama in the fandom but some looney posted something on insta about being heartbroken by Pedro and it was so vague with so little detail as to how she and her friend approached him and how she was apparently rejected that I'm sure Pedro is in the right, but it makes me sad. I knew all those wild fan sightings and selfies and him saying how he likes it when people recognize him (admittedly this was in interviews before he got huge, it was Agent Whiskey days, lol) were going to come back and bite him in the ass. All the attention boosts his ego, he ate it up, he was so nice and accommodating and of course this attracts someone who thinks it's a good idea to cross countries and spend thousands of dollars on the outside chance she gets a celebrity encounter. But he didn't know all that background, he doesn't know her from anyone. And if she shouted it at him I'm sure it freaked him out. But anyway, the reason it makes me sad is because this is what happened in the last fandom I was in, and the attention pretty much poisoned that celebrity's relationship with his fandom and really ruined it. I really hope it doesn't happen to Pedro. Sigh.

Sorry to dump this on you, I don't really have anyone else to talk to about fandom drama, lol

Aww Jack did so wrong with reader and Wyatt he still has a long way to pay and suffer the consequences of his actions. I think reader is really good for letting him in as the father of her son because as she said herself in the story, Wyatt already loves him, so she would be fighting a lost battle. Now, about their future is still uncertain, I don't think we will get to the point in the story where they will tell Wyatt what happened because that'd require him being older and I don't plan on doing time skips that could be that long, but I guess it doesn't matter who tells him the truth, it won't change the fact his heart will break. I also haven't thought much about reader's boyfriend, but that will be developed better in the upcoming chapters, that's for sure.

Now, about the whole Pedro drama from yesterday, I have to strongly disagree with you, anon. Absolutely none of that was Pedro's fault, just because he is nice accessible to his fans, it gives creepy people like that woman no right to treat him like landmark or object they can visit at any time they please. Honestly, I think Pedro is a SAINT for taking so much bullshit from people who claim to be his fans and won't respect him and the harassment of the media. But that woman, was another level. First of all, she started her text by stating she had traveled across countries just to see him, apparently she had a gift ready to hand him and she claimed to have painted her nails his favorite colors I mean please wtf and then, when people commented on her post, accusing her of being a stalker she got offended and contradicted herself by saying she was in Malta to visit friends. Her ~friend~ was a guy who had already taken a pic with Pedro there a couple of weeks ago, so they were obviously stalking him around the spots the guy knew Pedro usually hangs out during his free time.

And then as if doing that to him while he was trying to enjoy his day off in peace, she tags him and his hair stylist (!!!) on a painfully embarrassing public post saying he BROKE HER HEART as if he were her cheating husband or something, and dude, that wasn't just a delusional teen girl, that was a DELUSIONAL WOMAN, who should have known better than to travel just to stalk a celebrity because she thinks she owns him

Apparently he had security guards because it seems it happened the same day he was seen with Joseph Quinn (? I guess that's his name? Anyway Eddie Munson from Stranger Things) so that's a relief because we never know what another person is planning, this woman was probably harmless, but we don't know anything about other people who might decide to stalk him. So I hope he stays safe and no other crazy person decides to bother him.

I really hope Pedro is able to handle this horrible side of fame with good mental health and patience, and I also hope people remember he's a human being who deserves respect ❤️

1) When I read the part where Draxum rejects the idea of seeking an alliance with Big mama, a part of me snapped my fingers and said 'Dang! But another part of Me said 'ooh that's right, Draxum still doesn't know that Big mama was fucking Lou-jitsu ass' considering his secret crush on him I would love to know his reaction if he finds out.

Especially if big mama gets to win the race of who get donnie first and finds out from her, who I can see taking him right after to the ceremony for Splinter to kill him as a wedding gift. Which thinking about it would be a pretty cruel fate even for Draxum.

2) I imagine that Draxum did not apply his plan with the four turtles because it would have been much more difficult to keep an eye on all four of them, if one of them escaped he could free the others and his plan would be shattered. Now I wonder how it would have been if Draxum had also captured Leo on that roof? Double angst for the fam surely.

3) we see yokai that can fly, in the hidden city most wanted episode there's a part where we see a bird yokai mom flying with her child. Also the tmnt has mutants that can fly, Koya for example.

I feel like he would know?! I mean, come on, this is Big Mama and the all-time Battle Nexus champion. They were 100% on the cover of like...CosmoYokai, or Hidden City Enquirer. (it's been like fifteen years since I've cared about that kind of magazine so I forget what's popular) They were the star couple. When Lou stopped competing there were probably rumors that Big Mama ate him black widow style or that they had kids or something and Lou was now a stay-at-home dad. (human AU where Big Mama is Lou's executive, bread-winning wife and he quits acting to raise the kids)

I get the feeling that Draxum always knew that he would never have a chance with Lou. Either because he thought Lou wasn't interested in men, because he was wholly devoted to Big Mama or simply because Draxum kind of sucks and has never had a successful love life. I mean, he got Lou in his house and just stuck him in a cage. No attempts to woo him or anything. Raising Lou's kids was all Draxum could expect.

Oooooh man that is cruel. To have his son taken away, then be told that the guy he's in love with is marrying the woman who took him-literally because she kidnapped his son-right before Lou hatefully murders him? Goddamn. Just obliterate him.

Oh, exactly, all the boys are dangerous and they're increasingly dangerous when you put them together. Donnie was definitely the most risky one to capture, but he also had the most potential. It would have been difficult to do the same thing with more than one because Donnie actually required a lot of one-on-one attention. He might have been able to manage it with two, but why would he? He can make new mutants with similar abilities and would be more loyal to him. Donnie was one in a million and Draxum knew he had to take advantage of that luck.

He wouldn't have captured them both. He didn't have anything set up to hold Leo and knew he'd require something specially tailored to him, like The Table was for Donnie. There would probably be both flighted and unflighted classes of winged Yokai, honestly. Poison Ivy (1992 film)

Sylvie Cooper, Ivy

I was struggling through the confusions of puberty, Ivy was hot, this film left an impression on me. In a way trying to build any sort of happy ending for Ivy feels out of place, but on the other hand there's a lot of loose ends left after the story.

Throughout the film, there's a lot the audience never knows about Ivy, including her legal name. Did Coop know it? (Maybe, probably.) Did her father? (Quite possibly not). How do they handle all the legal responsibilities of her death? Were Ivy's stories about the aunt she was staying with true? How do they break the news? How does her funeral go?

What do Sylvie and her father have to say to each other about Ivy after the truth comes out? Does he admit everything that he did? (The movie seems to let him off way too easily by implying things are all Ivy's fault, when he ABSOLUTELY knew how wrong his actions were) How does he handle the guilt? How do they rebuild their relationship? Or, speaking of guilt, Sylvie kind-of-sort-of was responsible for Ivy's death, even if it wasn't 100% intended and she was not quite in her right mind at the time. She did push Ivy. How does she handle THAT?

What is school like, afterwards? What rumors escape? How does Coop handle them? Does this attract new weird friends? Does she adopt any of Ivy's traits as her own?

Or - what if Ivy survives the fall? Seriously injured, possibly paralysed, but alive? How do they deal with her, once the truth comes out? Do they cover up her crimes? Do they keep her in their home? What happens to their relationships?

Did Ivy ever care about Sylvie? Did she legitimately want to be friends before she started trying to seize hold of the world and the wealth that Coop lived in?

Sylvie ends up kind of pushed out of a lot of the middle of the movie so the film can spend more time perving over Ivy. More about her character and her thoughts in general would be great. We know she can be a troublemaker and a fantasist - who else has she been telling lies to? Or is the whole movie itself a lie she's telling us? And if so, what is the story behind the story?

For AUs, what would have happened if Ivy had met Coop when they were several years younger, so she couldn't get her hooks into Darryl as easily? What if they met at summer camp and Ivy was just as messed-up and needy but the situations were different? What if the movie plot is actually a fantasy younger-Ivy spins about her future to her fascinated-and-appalled friend, who then has a chance to react to it? Or what if Ivy tried to replace Sylvie rather than her mother? Or what if it's Darryl that she wants to kill, as revenge against the men who've mistreated her in her life? Or if it's Sylvie she really wants to be with, and we get some twisted bad-girls scenario where BOTH parents are conveniently disposed of so the girls can live together forever, lying to each other and the world and refusing to acknowledge the truth of what they've done?

IF YOU WANT TO WRITE SMUT: I'm on board with Sylvie/Ivy sex, I don't want to have to see Ivy/Darryl in too much detail. Brief reference if necessary is okay but not a focus.

Darlene Conner, David Healy, Molly Tilden

I got some lovely happy romance stories for my classic couple last year - this year I want to explore the possibilities of the love triangle.

Molly had the hots for David. David thought she was cute but was devoted to Darlene. Molly badly wanted Darlene's attention and friendship, which eventually turned into rivalry when Darlene constantly rejected her. Darlene felt threatened (but did check out Molly's chest, if just for comparison). That much is canon; it doesn't take a whole lot extra to give Molly a crush on Darlene as well and make the whole mess more complicated. Is Darlene's rejection of Molly's need for attention really so different from the way she treats David sometimes?

I generally prefer drama and angst and sticking to a fairly serious character exploration but with these three I'm also up for some Wacky and/or Sexy Shenanigans. Obviously it doesn't have to end with a happy poly trio, but I'd be tickled if it did (especially if it takes some serious work to get there. suffer first, then happiness!). Or you can whump people around a bit if it makes the angsty longing more intense. Bittersweet is fine.

Some idea seeds:

Playing With Matches, Molly kisses Darlene rather than David, Darlene panics because she doesn't want to be either a lesbian or a homophobe, David panics because he thinks this means Darlene will never really want him, Jackie overhears the wrong things and panics more, chaos ensues.

Molly runs away from home and strikes a deal to hide out in Darlene's college apartment because no one would think to look for her there. David finds out.

Molly hooks up with David after Darlene dumps him for Jimmy, everyone's bitter and angsting about what they don't have.

David and Darlene are happily married stable adults living in Chicago and publishing a comic together. They are reunited with Molly at a comics convention and she confesses that when they were teenagers she was into both of them.

All three live together and raise kids, the perils of poly parenting. Especially if the rest of the extended Conner clan keeps sticking their noses in to complain about this weird situation.

Gen ideas: the three of them at a thrift store comparing their various fashion tastes as they pick through old clothes, working on a school project and battling over its direction and political messaging, or maybe the three of them doing roleplaying together (either tabletop or LARP, the 90s is peak White Wolf era after all, imagine them in a vampire game)

IF YOU WANT TO WRITE SMUT: Any combination of the three, teens or adults, is fine! No extra characters in bed though please. I have a weakness for outwardly soft and submissive boys who are much more dominant in bed, particularly if he's teased to the breaking point before pouncing and going absolutely wild (to everyone's enjoyment).

DNW: Anything from the revival/TheConners continuity. Please try not to have characters commenting on David being "emasculated" or Darlene only liking him because he's "practically a girl", the gender policing really bothers me. Don't make Jimmy actually appear because I don't want to have to think too much about that actor. Please don't make David gay even if Darlene leaves him for Molly. Don't make anyone 100% Evil.

Phedre's Younger Sibling

Ever since someone mentioned it I've been intrigued by the idea of what happened to Phedre's little sister or brother, the one her mother was pregnant with when Phedre was sold to the Night Court. We know her parents probably died during the Bitterest Winter, of fever or of war, because they never tried to meet with Phedre once she was famous. But her sibling might never have even known Phedre's name or that she even existed, so they might have lived past that point without ever having a reason to contact her. What sort of life did that second child, four years younger than Phedre, have?

Phedre's coloring and defiant nature might read quite differently on a beautiful young man, a clever one with a knack for getting into trouble. Did he grow up bouncing along on slightly more successful caravans, learning scraps of Skaldi and Caerdicci as they traveled? Did he develop the business sense his father lacked? Did he beg caravan guards to teach him swordplay? Did a young love of travel combined with his parents tendency to bad fortune lead to him signing on as a sailor while he was still basically a child?

A boy might also be less likely to hear even a whisper of rumor of the lost older daughter. A boy might have been embraced as Firstborn and Heir by his father and never doubt.

A second daughter, however, one with a passing resemblance to Phedre but without Kushiel's dart and its mixed blessings, her existence might be more complicated. Looking at her might be a constant reminder of the shame of what happened with their first daughter. She might qualify for the canon of one of the Houses, but her parents might have felt themselves unable to return to the city of Elua to trade her, for fear of incurring the wrath of Cereus House. Might they have sold her somewhere else, even on the open market as a slave, as Phedre feared her fate might have been if her parents had been desperate enough? Or perhaps she was less pretty, less useful, and found herself abandoned at a temple of Naamah or Elua by her family? (We meet a Liliane at the temple where Imriel grew up and Phedre notes that was her mother's name. She seems a little bit young to be Phedre's sister but it's not impossible, and there's certainly a story in what happened to her if she is.)

But if a sister grew up looking a great deal like Phedre but without that divine spark, might she have been seized by someone precisely because of that resemblance? Someone who longed for the heroine but could not afford or entice the Comtesse de Montreve, so instead acquired their own little discount version? Or someone with a grudge against Phedre that they dared not act on, so kept a girl to punish in her place, never knowing it was actually her sister?

Or perhaps Phedre's wayward parents settled down a bit and matured and lived a respectable middle-class life outside the City of Elua, and this younger sister or brother lived a very ordinary d'Angeline life, until the Bitterest Winter. If they were sixteen and suddenly orphaned by fever, what did they do then? Take up arms to fight the Skaldi invasion? Go in search of more distant relatives? Philippe Cantrel had at least a father and two older brothers - we can assume Grandfather died and the inheriting elder brothers didn't remember Phedre's name or weren't paying enough attention to know she existed. But the child might have returned to the city seeking these uncles out of desperation. Or they might have been killed or enslaved by the Skaldi. Or all sorts of things.

I guess what I'm looking for here is a viewpoint on events within Terre d'Ange from a character who isn't important, isn't divinely touched, doesn't know exactly what all the great houses are up to, and never has any idea how closely connected they are to great events. Some dramatic irony and angst welcome. Possibly they live a short, unremarkable life and die alone. Possibly they make something of themselves, but without ever becoming rich and famous and royally connected. Whoever they are, Phedre never knows.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have not yet read Cassiel's Servant! I may or may not have gotten to it by Christmas, and I was not taking anything in that book into account when making this request, this is a repeat from years before. I have no idea if any further light is shone on the subject, and I will likely not recognise any character from that book. If you haven't read it either, great! If you have, don't lean on it.

Hester Appleyard, Sara Waybourne

Note: I have not read the book or seen the 1975 movie, I've only seen the miniseries. You can draw ideas from other versions if you want but you'll have to explain what you're talking about or I may not get the reference.

First off, TV Sara is the cutest thing and I want to protect her (and, well, THAT obviously didn't work out). Second, I feel like the relationship between Hester and Sara is interestingly ambiguous (what isn't, in this show?). Hester seems both antagonistic and friendly to Sara in different ways, and it seems clearly suggested that she's reminded of her own orphan past. She sometimes wants to bond with her and othertimes wants to furiously reject her. She fears that Sara knows far too much, and she's tempted to tell her more.

The circumstances of Sara's death are very unclear, though we see that Hester knows something and is covering it up. What happened between them on that final night? Did Hester push Sara out in a rage? Did they struggle, up in the tower on a windy night, and a careless shove let Sara fall? Did Hester try to save her? Did Sara leap from the tower in despair? Did Sara try to climb out to escape and fall? How did Hester find out that Sara was dead, and why did she choose to deal with it in the way she did (pretending Sara had left but not disposing of the body)? What was she thinking? Or did she truly convince herself Sara had just 'disappeared' like the other girls?

So things that I'd be particularly interested in, storywise:

A depiction of the details and the drama of that final, fatal night

Any scene in which they really open up to each other and share secrets we didn't see in the series (which might or might not end with Hester threatening Sara to shut her up)

AU in which Hester adopts Sara herself and trains her to follow in her footsteps? Possibly where she uses Sara as a bridge to marry Mr Cosgrove? (Dark and mysterious things should still happen, just DIFFERENT ones)

AU in which it's Hester who falls to her death after their last confrontation in the tower. Sara lives! But she might be suspected of murder, especially if for some reason Hester named her in the will and left her the school. What happens to the school and Sara now?

Angst and drama are likely. Killing either or both characters is fine. Depictions of self-harm and child abuse consistent with the series are fine, but tag it. No sexual abuse depictions please.

Smutwise: Not with each other! In keeping with the style of the show, some light sexual scenes might work well for filling in character info (what IS hester's sexuality anyway? If Sara Lives, how does she eventually move on from Miranda?) but this is not a kink request.

DNW: Hester/Sara slash. A super-happy fix-it fic. This is a dark canon, so I'm okay with the threat of someone being pruriently interested in Sara or young Hester, but I absolutely don't want anyone to do anything sexual to Sara while she's underage. It's okay to imply that young Hester might have been molested or prostituted but I don't want to see it happen in detail.

21 Jump Street - Series

Harry Ioki

I always felt like Harry was shortchanged on the show in terms of how much screentime and attention he got. Maybe just because I thought he was gorgeous and wanted so much more. Because they showed less of him, I have fewer strong hooks to build off of for requests. I don’t really know what I want, other than an Ioki adventure during the first four seasons of the show. Some mystery, some drama, a chance for him to look cool, an excuse to dress him up nice? (Can you find an excuse to make him solve a mystery while wearing a snazzy dinner jacket, or some sort of lovingly-detailed punk getup?)

Romance-wise, I don’t want him in a full relationship with any of the main cast but I wouldn’t mind him flirting with ANY of them. I’m cool with writing an OFC for him to romance during the story, but I would prefer a reset button on that for the ending. Maybe she dies, maybe she’s the bad guy and he has to arrest her, maybe she doesn’t like it when she finds out who he really is, maybe it was just a fling, whatever. A nice poignant note to wrap up on. Given the time period and his personality, I feel like if Harry were bi, he'd be keeping it quiet, and I don't want a story that's all about the struggles of being closeted in the 80s, so if you really want to give him a boyfriend, that shouldn't be the main focus. Romance isn’t necessary either, but it’s nice to have someone to admire the boy. Even if it’s just Tom and Doug complaining that he looks better in that outfit than they would. (Background Tom/Doug bromance is fine too.)

Angst and bittersweet endings are very acceptable and common for the canon. I'd prefer at least a tiny spark of hope (for him personally even if not for the characters of the week) rather than total despair.

Please do not reference anything having to do with the movies, not even as a joke.

I'd actually prefer to skip the smut on this one and keep it in tone with what you'd see on television.

I think Elain and Azriel are different in ways that matter long-term, just as I think she and Lucien are similar in ways that matter long-term.

Azriel would absolutely be an upgrade from Graysen (and I do mean this as a compliment to Az even though it's objectively not saying much), but I do think where he and Elain are incompatible would start to wear on them both over time. They're different on a fundamental level whereas she and Lucien are not.

I can see Az being too much for Elain not in the sense she'd ever have need or reason to fear him or that he wouldn't be sweet to her, but simply in how differently his mind and values have been forged.

How differently he acts and reacts.

I think they could have a good relationship while it lasted, but I don't think it would last. If it did, I could see it lasting only out of habit and comfort zones--stagnation and unwillingness to change or take risks.

I think Azriel would eventually tire her, and that it would become grating and stagnant given she would always feel that pull towards Lucien whether she wanted it or not. Unless, of course, it somehow was severed completely.

With Lucien, there's a fundamental similarity in values and temperaments. Lucien may have a bit of a mouth on him at times, but he's gentle. He's kind, witty, snarky, and warm. He can be a little wild, but generally has some of the best self-control in the series when it comes to not allowing himself to be goaded into an action that will cost him.

I think the blood dual line embodies that perfectly. Even if Elain hated Lucien (which she doesn't), she would never wish for him to be harmed or for him and Azriel to fight.

Azriel likes competition. Thrives in it. He likes his space and quiet, even though he can do both. It would wear Elain out, and I think between his nature and demands his role requires, Elain would start to feel neglected (attention-wise) over time. While I fully believe everyone underestimates her fortitude and what she's willing to accept among people, I believe Az's brutal profession would start to wear on her.

Elain was social as as human. She liked her parties, and she had friends. She wants both simplicity and the chance to do something greater; to test the waters and see who she can become. While both Az and Lucien believe she's capable of it, I can see her flourishing and thriving far more with Lucien.

With someone who can both utilize and weaponize relationships and connections through people and words.

Whereas Azriel is very much established in his life. His life and choices could change, of course, but old habits die hard and it's difficult to imagine leaving his spying and warrior upbringing behind.

Hypothetically, it's in all these ways where someone like Gwyn would be a better fit for him. Gwyn is a warrior herself. She's sharp and resourceful and thrives in environments where she can push herself to the limits and beyond them physically and mentally. She brings her own light into a room in a way similar to Elain, but Gwyn's is less of a warm sun's glow and more like a firecracker. She too likes her quiet; is used to working in the dark and quiet and settling her own mind in those moments.

Azriel also wants a mate. While it wasn't Elain's choice to be mated, it's worth noting that fact isn't anyone's choice in this series. Even if we look at a couple like Viviane and Kallias who arguably had the most convenient and comfortable bond scenario (in which they were already in love with each other, had decided to spend their lives together, and were newlyweds when it snapped), they still didn't necessarily have a choice in the bond itself.

Even if Elain and Azriel pursued each other, Elain's bond has snapped with someone else. As of right now, we can only assume Azriel has never had that (and I think his actions and internal conflicts support the idea).

If Azriel did end up having a bond snap into place, it wouldn't be with Elain.

It would be with someone else, and I wouldn't wish that on either one of them. They both deserve better (and Lucien does, too).

I want to see them all experience the highest form of love in their world and for that love to thrive.

Azriel would never intentionally hurt Elain, but he's often blinded by his own nature and ambitions where Lucien is not.

Azriel reacts. It's his method of survival and getting a job done.

Neither are this way all the time--Az can be silent and menacing, and Lucien can run his mouth and get himself into trouble.

But the differences in those tendencies matter.

At the end of the day, though, it will be Elain's choice, but value and temperament alignment are always worth considering.

Lucien wouldn’t even call a blood duel and if Azriel somehow called it I am 100% sure he would not participate. He abhors violence. He did not kill Graysen, the man who disrespected his MATE. He did not seek revenge for Jesminda’s death even though I know he wants to. He would not participate in it, tradition be damned.

But Azriel would.

Even if it hurts Elain. Even if it scars her. Even if losing her mate potentially messes her up. And we know that because of his eager response to Rhys. We know that because he liked the idea of Lucien killing Greysen even when Elain asked to spare him. He did not care. But Lucien understands this, Lucien understands Elain and their morals align.

Kamui x Commandant/reader

He has changed, but no one seemed to believe that or, at least, be skeptical about it. But when he sees you were doing the same, Kamui is determined to prove that he is just as reliable as the next construct.

"Hey, Commandant!"

Kamui's boisterous voice caught everyone's attention. The Grey Ravens had just finished their Simulation drills.

Liv helped you out of your pod, as Lee stood in front of Kamui, who, was eager to see you.

"Kamui, what are you doing here?" Lucia asked.

"Is there a mission that require our assistance?" Lucia asked again before Kamui had a sheepish grin. Rubbing the back of his neck, almost if he's a little embrassed, and said, "Well... No, but please don't tell Chrome I am here though."

Lee gave Tenebrion a look. Skeptical about what Kamui has to say.

"After the last mission, I realised I need more training! I want to strengthen up myself and get use to... Well, me."

You gave a questioning look, "…in other words, you want to get use to your new frame a bit more?"

Kamui smiled brightly, "Yeah! Commandant gets it!"

Lee was about to say something but was pushed aside by Kamui. Exictedly, he showed you the simulation level he had in mind.

"Erm... Kamui..." Liv spoke, "that level is way to high for you to do this alone."

"That's the type of idiot who would make a daring attempt." Lee crossed his arms, head gesturing towards the blond construct.

"Well…one can't push their own limits and improve if you stick to levels you are only comfortable with." Kamui rebuttals with a bright grin.

"Pushing your limits to the extreme is never wise. It usually ends up badly for constructs as well as for humans. So are you going to sacrifice your pain receptors, risking a M. I. N. D Deviation?" Lee spit back.

Kamui had a little pout and remain quiet. He turned to Lee and gave a little shrugged. That infuriated Lee. You quickly diffuse the tension between the constructs.

"Lee, it's okay." you said. Turning towards Kamui you spoke, "I would love to help you with your frame, but we just finished a simulation drill. Maybe, next time."

Kamui wore one of his bright smiles, "Hey, don't worry about it. When next time comes, just give me a call and I will be here all ready. Oh! And it would be nice if you call me via a private channel," He gave a laugh, "don't want Chrome to get the wrong idea."

Lee rolled his eyes. As the Grey Ravens exited the simulation room, Kamui could only feel a little somber over his failed attempt. He has nothing to do beside heading back to his room.

After that time, Tenebrion went for another go. Walking towards the Grey Raven’s common room, he was about to knock on the door when he suddenly got dragged by the collar.

“Kamui, there you are!” Chrome said, “Strike Hawk has just received a new mission. We are getting dispatched in 20 minutes!”

“Wait what?! Why didn’t I know about this? Kamui questioned. Chrome didn't answer him right away and arrived to their common room. Banji was already making preparations.

“I have send the information to your inner devices, read it as we descend,” Chrome replied, “This is a sudden request for backup from earth, so everyone needs to be focus and stay vigilant, got it?”

“Yes, Captain.” Kamui and Banji answered.

"Banji, you keep watch at the south exit. Kamui and I will come in at the north gate,"

Through the inter comms, Banji gave a yawn, "Roger..." He spoke snugglishly and made his way to the designated location as planned.

As Chrome dial to connect to a new channel, Kamui was busy looking around.

"... Kamui, I need you to stop walking around and pay attention, this is a highly infected zone. The enemies are reported to operate on AI, we can't afford to be careless. " Chrome said.

The channel was finally connected a familiar voice came through, "Grey Raven Squard Commandant," it was your voice.

Immediately, Kamui stopped and rushed toward Chrome.

"Hey, it's Commandant, so it seems we are teaming up with the Grey Ravens, huh?" Kamui said and he greeted you.

Chrome cleared his thoart, “Anyway, Commandant. Strike Hawk Chrome reporting for duty. We have arrived at your given coordinates. Grey Ravens, where are your current location?"

"We are by the field, about 300 meters away from where you are. We will be there soon."

"Good," Chrome nodded, "Commandant, I have devised a plan to infiltrate the premises. Please read for review."

"Noted," you reply, "we will get into formation once we met up. There's no time to lose."

"Understood, Commandant." with that, Chrome ended the call. Resulting Kamui, staying a bit silent.

"Kamui," Chrome asked, "What's wrong?"

"... Hmm..." tapping his head with a finger, Tenebrion was in thought, "...nothing, just want to see how can I be of use to Commandant."

"You can be of use by proving yourself in this mission," Chrome said,"But enough of that now, they are going to be here soon, so get ready."

Once you met up with Chrome and Kamui, every one set into their formation as Chrome planned. Luica and Lee entered first while Liv stayed with you and Chrome to scan the surroundings for potential enemies. Kamui was placed at the back to protect you from possible sneak attacks.

"Enemy ahead!" Liv alerted. On cue, a Musashi IX emerges. Its footsteps heavy, marched towards you. Red lights emitted from its chest. It held the blade up ready to launch an attack.

"Lucia, Lee, watch out!" you cried as the corrupted swing the blade towards them.

"Kamui, stay back and protect Commandant! " Chrome ordered.

"Wait, Kamui, he!" Liv exclaimed.

Chrome turned his head around and saw Kamui was nowhere to be found. Looking left and right, he stop when a huge clash rung in everyone's ears. Kamui seems to came out of nowhere and parried the Musashi's attack.

"Kamui!?" Lucia said, surprised to see him at the front.

"That idiot!" Lee exclaimed, "Luica, go take Kamui's place, now!"

Without a word, Lucia and Lee rushed towards you as Kamui fended the mechanism alone. With his new Tenbrion frame, he felt much stronger. The Musashi went in its overclock mode, strengthening its shield.

However, Tenebrion doesn't seems to be worried about it. Seeing this an opportunity to show you what he can do, he unleashed his ultimate and hammered his big sword at the enemy.

The strength from the Tenebrion frame was just as heavy. You felt the ground shook as the weapon made contact. With one finally hit, Kamui plunge his sword into the ground, dark energy spurt up; sending the enemy flying in mid air and impaling its core with dark matter.

The lights from the Musashi faded its body turned limp. Falling to the ground in a huge crash. Kamui relaxed his stances. His smile returned and looked at the rest of you.

Suddenly, the surroundings began to shake. Small amounts of dust and pebbles fell onto your shoulder. The metal ceiling shook from the impact.

"You...! " Lee growled at Tenebrion.

“The place is not going to hold, everyone get out!” Chrome yelled.

Without a second thought, everyone ran towards the exit. Pieces of infrastructure and debris fell one by one. You ran as fast as you could to catch up with the others. The dust that riled up from the ground obscured your vision. You could only trust your insinct to navigate your way, and suddenly, a hand grabbed your arm to pull you back.

A large metal tube like structure fell right in front of you, blocking your path towards the exit as well as your team. The impact was loud and momentarily made your heart beat fast. It only took a few seconds for you to regain focus and assess your situation.

"... That was close..." his voice said.

That's when you realised, Kamui saved you.

“Commandant!!” you heard Liv cried.

“Damnit!” You also heard Lee cursed.

“Guys, I am fine!” you yelled back.

“Wait? Where’s Kamui?!” Chrome cried.

“Captain, I am here with Commandant!” Kamui replied.

“Commandant,” you heard Lucia said, “Stand back, I will cut this pipe…” she was about to take her sword out before Lee stopped her.

“Lucia, wait! I don’t think this is pipe. I just made a scan on it. There's liquid inside that contains explosive substances. Even with a slightest heat, given its scale, it will blow the whole place up.”

“But Commandant…” Lucia spoke.

“It’s alright, Lucia!” you yelled back, “I will be alright, I have Kamui with me.”

“What should we do?” Chrome turned to the Grey Ravens.

“We should check how many enemies are within this area. The ruckus would have alert other AI mechanics nearby.” Lucia said, “Liv, run a scan.”

The support construct nodded her head and scanned the premises.

"Liv what's the situtation up front?" Chrome asked.

"More enemies up ahead on Commandant's side. The Punishing concentration is little more higher. Should we call for a compositor for back up?" Liv replied.

"It’s not necessary, we will find a way. You guys go to the south exit to meet up with Banji. Kamui and I will meet you there.” you ordered.

Despite been given orders, the Grey Ravens were hesitant to leave, “but…” Lucia said.

“Don’t worry, Lucia. I will keep Commandant safe!” Kamui promised.

Looking at each other for a while, the Grey Ravens gave each other a silent agreement.

“We will be waiting for you, Commandant.” Lucia said and followed Chrome towards the exit. Lee and Liv followed.

"It seems we have no choice but to move forward this way." you pointed at the direction that you all ran from.

Suddenly, Kamui proposed “If we travel forward, according to the map, there’s an electrical room here.” he pointed at the metal gates where the Musashi was guarding.

“We might not be able to beat all these corrputed inside but, I know there is a power core. If we can sneak in and activate the core, this could send shock waves to disengage the enemy." he added

You went quiet.

“Wow… That actually sounds like a good plan.” you praised. Kamui grinned happily.

"Wait, how do you know there's a power core?" You asked.

Kamui rubbed his head, "Well... While I was wandering around, I happened to see an electrial power sign. So I took a peek to the electrical room through the vent," He pointed at the vent at the upper corner.

You inspected the vent and noticed an opening near the metal doors.

"So that’s how you ambushed the Musashi…," you said. He face flushed warmly.

Both of you went towards the vent, luckily it was not destroyed. You crawled your way through the tunnel. Both of you stopped above the electrical room. Peering through the opening, you can see the interior.

The power core was right at the middle, still lit up from storing years worth of power generated from the solar panels.

“This must be like a recharge station for a few corrupted models…” you whispered, “where is the ON switch for this?”

Rummaging through your pack, you took a small pair binoculars and tried to find the control panel. At the same time Kamui did a scan of the room. Despite his scanning function weren't as good as Lee’s and Liv’s, he tries his best to locate the control panel.

“There’s a platform on the far end,” he pointed out. You immediately look into that direction. Indeed, you saw a small platform with metals stairs that leads to the observation room.

“I see it,” you replied, “But it’s connected to an observation room. We might have to climb our way up…” you place the binoculars back and looked at Kamui.

He seemed relatively calm, although, he carries a cheerful mood throughout this mission, this time you can see he has changed and now he wore a much serious expression, as if he was think hard.

Lee might like this Kamui more, you think.

“There’s also another door in the room. I guess this must be where the corrupted all come and go after they replenish their energy,” you said.

“The gate is also that way, we can lure the corrupted in and hit that button to zap them.”

“ Before that, we need a rope to make that climb,” You pointed at the platform.

Kamui took a look, “I think I am tall enough to hoist you up there, we should be fine.” you gave him a skeptical look.

He seemed to notice your hesitance to agree and said, “I know Lee is always better prepared and reliable, but… I can also be reliable too, especially in this new frame. Please, Commandant, trust me. ”

You didn't expect him to say that. Reality was, there isn't any other options, and you know that taking a risk is best course of action you could take right now.

Taking a deep breath and a moment to yourself. You access your current situtation before making up your mind. You nodded, “Okay, let’s do this.”

Tenebrion smiled.

Carefully, both of you jumped down from the vent opening. Kamui jumped first and caught you as you followed. Quietly, you went towards the other exit and looked around. So far, no corrupted was in sight.

Kamui looked around and found an emergency panel. Without a thought, he busted it open, and began to look into the emergency functions.

Soon, he realised there was a option to activate an emergency ladder for the control platform. He gave a triumph smile.

Turning his head he looked back at you and gave a signal. You nodded and took out your gun. Taking another deep breath, you walked out to the corridor. Slowly and steady, you held your gun tight. One moment, there was nothing in sight, and the next, you froze in surprise see a red beam aiming at you.

Gun shots fire.

Immediately, you dodge the attack and fired your gun.

“HUMANS… M..UST..BE….DES….TROYED….” Its mechanical voice spoke. The corrupted scanned what was in front and identify you as the target. It took out its small antenna to alert the others.

Soon, a series of marching could be heard from a distance, the group of corrupted that Liv detected must be heading this way. Of course, they were all gathered by the south exit.

You fired your gun twice more before yelling, “They’re coming!” and ran back into the electrical room. The army began to pick up speed. Some jumped up to try and catch you.

Before they can land on you, Kamui swung his big sword, and charged forward to push the corrupted back.

“Kamui!” you shouted.

“I am fine! Just go to the control panel!” Kamui yelled as he hacked away the machines.

At this point, you stop having the seed of doubt. You could only trust him and dashed forward. Other corrupted were alerted and joined in, jumping down from the sides. The sudden formation caught Kamui off guard. Leaving his post he ran towards you and hacked away a corrupted that was getting too close; before it could touch you.

Both Commandant and construct made it underneath the platform. Immediately, you climbed up the ladder into the platform.

Kamui hacked away the bottom half of the ladder before jumping up. He caught the handle of the remaining half and pulled himself up.

Turning on the control panel, the screen lit up and you began to work your way to activated the power core.

“Power Core Activation Error.” the machine spoke.

“What?!” you tried again and entered the command.

“Power Core Activation Error.”

“Damnit! Where’s Lee when you need him!” you cursed.

You tried again, this time you entered the troubleshooting command.

“Trouble-shooting power system, please do not interrupt.” the voice said. A loading screen popped up, and it felt like an eternity to waiting, when it only took a few seconds.

The corrupted began jumping up, in hopes to get to the ladder.

“Trouble-shooting complete.”

You let a small sigh of relief. Kamui looked down to see the corrupted banded up together and stack on top of each other they were definitely coming.

A list of codes and commands popped up on the screen, the colour of the text looked fine until there was a sentence in red. The main problem.

“Power Core not connected…” you read, “Can not detect signal. Please turn signal on.”

“There should be a button or switch on the core to connect it!” Kamui said, “I’ll go turn it on!”

“Wait! That thing is going to shock you!” you pulled him back.

“Commandant, trust me,” he gave you a reassuring smile, “Remember?”

And, you did.

Letting go his sleeve, you gave him a nodded. Kamui nodded back.

Returning to the screen, you began to activate the power core again. Kamui took out his big sword and went into his ultimate. He jumped down from the platform and plunged his sword on a corrupted underneath him; hacking his way towards the power core.

Pushing the machines back, he found a hatchet on the core. Hurriedly busting it open, he activated the signal, linking it up to the computer.

"Signal detected."

At the same time, you entered the activation command. You pressed enter and the loading bar filled itself in.

“Power Core Activated.”

A surge of electricity corse through the room. You watched as strips of electricity ran from above all the way down to the floor. The voltage electrocuted everything that was in its radius, creating a bright sparkle of light blinding you as you cover your eyes. The sound of electricity running through the metal was deafening. Too much to bare, you hastily reached for the control panel to turn the core off.

Slowly, the light diminishes and silence engulf the room.

You lower your arm to take a look at the aftermath. A room full of corrupted lay lifeless on the floor. The only thing to be heard was the sound of a leaking circuit.

“It’s… over…” legs buckled, you slump down. You tried to calm your beating heart.

“Thank god for Kamui…” you mutter, when you suddenly remember about the construct.

Quickly, getting up, you made your way down the ladder and rushed to Kamui’s side. You didn't know if the he was still working and alive.

“Kamui!” you cried and went to his side.

Laying down, Kamui opened his eyes when he heard his name.

“Commandant… we did it! ” he spoke. His bionic voice sounded fizzy.

“Kamui, are you okay?! I will call for the shuttle right away!”

“Yeah, I am alright.” he said seemingly too energetically, earning a strange look from you.

“… Are you sure?” you asked. It’s not normal for a construct to still be fine after a shock.

“Did it not hurt?” you asked again.

“... It should. Guess turning the pain receptors off has it's advatanges, ” he jested.

You gasped, “You what?! I am connecting you to my M.I.N.D right now!”

You linked up his M. I. N. D to your mind beacon. There, you monitored his M.I.N.D deviation hoping the numbers would go down.

“Commandant!” a familiar voice rang through the room. Lifting your head, you saw your team heading towards you.

“Kamui!” Liv cried and rushed towards him. Conducting a full body scan Liv reported,” he’s inner circuit has been damaged, and his M.I.N.D Deviation percentage is not in the normal range!”

“What did you do?” Lee asked.

“He turned off his pain receptors in order for me to active an electric shock,” you answered on behalf, “it eliminated the corrupted but… Kamui was in the cross fire.”

“Liv, how is Kamui situation? ” Lucia asked.

“Right now, he’s connected to Commandant’s Mind Beacon. And, his deviation percentage is steadily declining.” Liv answered.

“Call the shuttle, unfortunately, we need to retreat.” you ordered.

Lee nodded and send a retreat signal to Babylonia.

"Sorry, to have you all worry... This place is better for a compositor to conduct the investigation..." you then look at Kamui who was looking at you, " Thank you, Kamui. I am glad that I trusted you."

Hearing that, Tenebrion couldn't help but to feel warm and fuzzy.

“Commandant~” Kamui popped up in front of the Simulation room door.

“You again?” Lee said, “I am surprise to see Asimov let you go early.”

“Kamui, you’re back,” you greeted as you got out of the simulation pod.

“Let me guess… you want me to help with your frame?” you asked.

“Yep!” he grinned brightly.

“Hold up,” Lee held his hand up to stop Kamui from getting too close, “Don’t tell me you want to do a danger zone simulation drill. Wasn't the last mission enough? ”

“Nah~ that’s not what I am here for,” Kamui took out a piece of paper and handed it to you. You took it and read its content.

“A feedback survey?”

“Yep! Chrome said that this could also be a way to improve and strengthen my skills,” Tenebrion crossed his arms and nodded, “So, go ahead and fill it in! We can discuss about it when we have our munchies!”

However, one problem is that because of your large wingspan, it’s best that you don’t enter small shops in fear of breaking stuff due to their strength, even if you can control them well. Another problem shouldn’t be a problem but, well, is. Your wings are pretty unusual in Mondstadt, since they don’t really have non-humans or half-humans wandering around like in Liyue. as such, many people are so interested in your big white wings,.

Basically, people have the tendency to crowd you and ask to touch your wings, which is typically a no-go from randos since it can mess up the feather alignment.

So Kaeya typically sticks with you as if he were your personal bodyguard! It’s super sweet. He makes jokes about it too, sometimes joking about how you could form a boyband if you managed to rope Diluc and maybe one of your male friends from Liyue into the gig. 

Aside from being attention grabbing and ruckus-causing, big wings can also be troublesome when it comes to finding clothes! You typically stick with backless options, sometimes racerbacks, and usually without a neckline (unless it has buttons or velcro) for ease of putting on and taking off.

That means you can’t really swap clothes with Kaeya tho, since he doesn’t strike me as a guy with too many backless tops. He does buy some eventually! Just for you to steal haha.

Speaking of clothes, since he has that feather boa thing around his neck, i can totally see him asking you for some of your discarded or molting feathers to weave into there, just to have a piece of you with him!

⠀ 「 DILUC 」

He’d be cautious around them! He probably hasn’t seen many winged humanoids, so he kind of has to get used to seeing you. He’d probably be aware of not sneaking up on your from behind, since those white things are huge, and he doesn’t want to risk getting knocked back if he surprises you. 

He doesn’t mind you sitting in the Angel’s Share, since it’s kind of fitting for you to be there, what with your wings and all. In a way, you sort of became the mascot for the place. 

This results in some problems, though, like when some of the more drunk patrons proposition you and call you a ‘pretty boy angel.’ It’s not something that requires any direct action aside from ignoring them, but once in a blue moon a rather aggressive drunk would be too forward or pushy with their advances. It’s still no problem though–– not when you can just send a gust of wind their way to spill their drink and topple them to the ground with a flick of your wing.

Diluc would probably send for a tailor to custom-make some clothing for you that is easy for you to put on and is comfortable for your wings. He’d ask that the fabric your clothing would be made out of is light and aerodynamic, too, for your ease of flying.

If you ask him, he’ll give you a room in the winery to do as you please-– so you can make a huge nest if you want! Diluc will even get you as many blankets and pillows as you need. Sometimes he’ll even join you–– It much comfier than he expected.

You’re sometimes the big spoon, but usually you prefer to lay on your front and sort of drape your arm around him, since you don’t want to cramp your wings.

If work is slow at the winery and the tavern, sometimes Diluc will go flying with you. Well, to him it’s more ‘gliding’, really, since he glides and you can flap your wings. But it’s still loads of fun! With your masterful control, you’d dart around his form in midair and sometimes create updrafts for him so that he can stay in the air for you just a little while longer.

I can see him being hesitant in letting you carry him though, even if he does trust you.

If the two of your get caught in the rain, you’ll extend one of your wings to cover Diluc from getting wet!! Sometimes this ends with a sweet rainy kiss, other times Diluc worries you might strain the muscles in your wings, even though he should know better.

⠀ 「 CHILDE 」

Honestly? Super excited and 100% wants to fight you.

Of the three, he’s probably the least caught off-guard that you have large white wings. After all, he’s aware of Ganyu the half-adeptus and her quilin horns, and he’s aware of the part illuminated beast Yenfei and her horns due to the research of the Fatui. He probably heard of you and your white wings before he even met you due to his information network.

He’d compliment your wings, compliment how meticulously clean they are and how strong they look, he’ll probs compliment how strong the guy they’re attached to looks too. Flirty little gremlin.

He’s aware of how big wings can be inconvenient indoors, so for date night, he’ll sometimes rent out whole sections of restaurants with high ceilings to have dinner in, just so that you can stretch your wings without inconveniencing anyone.

Childe will undoubtedly drop heavy hints that he wants to spar with you, and he wants to fight you while you use your wings, too. When you finally agree, he’s over the moon.

It sounds kinda morbid, but during your fight, he sort of tests his prowess with a bow against you when you take to the skies. He’s positive he can hit you at least one or twice, but he find it so hot when you easily dodge all his arrows, knock a couple out of the sky, and even casually catch one or two.

At one point, if you pin him down and use your weight and muscle mass + the weight of your wings to hold him down? He’s really into that.

Like Diluc, he’d probably go gliding / flying with you if he has freetime. unlike Diluc, if you guys go flying after he’s fought you and seen how nimble and how much control you have in the air, he’ll absolutely pester you until you carry him.

It’s an adrenaline rush for him to be in your arms and to be flying like this! It’s this experience that really shows him the difference between flying and gliding.

If you ever do that thing where you tuck in your wings and go into a free-dive to the ground, Childe would probably scream-laugh, though it turns more into an adrenalized whoop when you extend your wings mere seconds before you two are pancakes.

He probably loved the adrenaline rush of that too, and practically demands that you carry him like that again. 

Another one who has custom clothing made for your comfort and for practicality! I said it before, but Childe is a literal sugar daddy who will get you anything. Be it oil for your wings, a new backless top, or even specific sheets for your added comfort, it’s all on the table.
