What do these boys have in common, besides a traumatic past:

Long, white hair

A piercing gaze

An occasionally lopsided smile

A favorite man pose.

For no precise reason other than these similarities, I brought them in the same room. 😜 After drawing this, I started thinking… Perhaps Lotor needed some advice on dark magic for his own research? (to defeat Haggar? to discover King Alfor’s lost secrets?) Aaravos seems to have a big library for magical purposes (btw, I blended the two lores in the small details too: the labels on the book spines and the botanical decor).

Lotura Celestial Wedding

My latest labour of love, doodled in small increments over the course of a few weeks. 💜 Here they are, waltzing among nebulae and galaxies.

Allura’s gown is my own adaptation of her regular dress into a silken, gossamer ballroom gown, attempting to preserve the little Altean details.

Lotor’s suit is a compilation of his own armor and his mother’s uniform in S8, as a nod to his Altean heritage. Don’t worry, he’s still half-Galra; he’s got many ways to express his Zarkonian side 😉. His little diadem is also of Altean design. Simple enough not to compete with his beautiful portrait.

And gold sparkles, because I said so.
