#I've been listening to this song a lot lately#especially late at night.. when I'm contemplating things#more like ruminating probably#i know the lyrics aren't all that sad#but for some reason it reminds me of something I'm going through rn#loss and heartbreak.. but at the same time maybe things feel calmer and quieter now that they've left..#and i feel bitter about some things and wistful about others#like surviving some great storm..#battered and weather-beaten#but still alive#I'm still okay. even though I thought the pain would be unbearable. but it wasn't.
