#losing a friend was part of it for Frances but Tank wasn't his BFF just yet

Going back through the story, I noticed this interesting parallel. Frances and Ripp both collapse to ground after kissing (and being rejected by, to different degrees) Tank and Johnny respectively.

Ripp's was a full blown aspiration failure, given that he's a Romance sim. I don't think I ever spelled that out in words, but the animations were there, and when Jaxy and Zoe finally find him a week later, he's lying in a gutter with the aspiration items. He also mentions that he "Grew Up Badly" to adulthood because of it.

I always imagined he got hit with a rather large "Be Rejected By…" romantic fear, but then I'm sure he actually benefited from filling them instead: kiss, first kiss, make out... particularly with Johnny. I'm sure his wants panel was populated by Johnny wants, lined up like dominoes.

In the end, it was "Lose Johnny as Best Friend" that devastated him.
