wales is where they've settled - though not exactly by choice. america was too far, the money that sarala had made by selling her own belongings, the gold and silver jewellery which she had been given flogged for what wound up being much less than it was worth, and settling in london meant being entirely too close to cousins who would know her by description, and staying in india was entirely untenable.

emmeline knew little of her mother's struggle. all she knew was that it was often too cold and all she had was her mother: they shared the same bed, the too small rickety frame and slim mattress that was no good for a young mother, let alone her baby. it was a blessing - or perhaps the magic in emmeline responding to the situation already and preventing her from being so - that she was not a sickly baby.

regardless, emmeline was a happy baby, and sarala brought her everywhere. it was odd, at first, to be stared at in the village when she wore her out and about, but soon the stares were accompanied by smiles, helping hands in the grocery store and finally, finally, a job offer suited to her strengths. sarala was not accustomed to having almost no money, or to having to work - she was the only daughter of a man who had spared no expense in sending her to private school and then arranging her unwanted marriage when she fell pregnant.

but she made it work, because she knew she had to. the local stables needed someone with experience with horses - and despite her lack of paperwork (or maybe simply out of pity), the owner decided to give her a chance. afterwards, she never looked back. a love of animals, of all things that grow, had been fostered in sarala from a young age - and she wanted to pass that onto her daughter.

emmeline grew up surrounded by nature. to say that their home was rural was an understatement - but she knew nothing different, and wanted for nothing as she grew and her mother gained confidence. the horses her mother tended to each day were some of her first friends, even if she couldn't speak the same language as them. the fields behind her and her mother's rented house were her first playground, the birds that flew overhead the first beings she fed from the palm of her hands, the flowers along the roadside the ones she tended to when people were less than careful.

she was seven before she realized how very strange it was that she didn't have a father. or that, well, if she did, he did a very good job of remaining invisible to her eyes. everybody else had a father - everybody else had two parents to go home to, whether they were happy about it or not. when she finally questioned sarala about it, safe under the duvet of her bed, sarala knew it was time to tell her the truth.

it was no secret that they were different; they didn't look anything like any of the other residents, and sarala's accent wasn't anything like emmeline's but for the warmth of it. but emmeline had never questioned that this is where they were from, that this rural town in wales was where her mother had grown up. finding out that she was actually from a place called madurai, had brothers and parents and yes, emmeline's father lived there, too.

emmeline wasn't blind to how merely stating the facts hurt her mother. there was a wound that had never healed at their treatment of her, the rejection of emmeline's father solidified when her parents immediate response was to lambast her and then arrange a swift marriage to a much older man who would not protest the existence of her child. she made the decision then, that she didn't need to know anymore. knowing that she did have a father was comfort enough - she didn't need anything more than that.

sarala was dumbfounded by emmeline's easy acceptance and her lack of pushing in the aftermath, but soon she was entirely distracted. emmeline hadn't exactly hid her burgeoning magical abilities, not from the world of nature which she often found solace in, but they were entirely dumbfounding on first sight to her mother. the discovery that she could make objects float, and even ensure that they did things she was meant to be doing - like brushing her hair or packing her few toys away, rattled sarala - who had no explanation for any of it.

it was a long wait, one that was nearly untenable to weather without any actual answers, before she got any sort of satisfaction on that front. even as baffled as she was, there was very little fear associated with it. she trusted her daughter, who cried when she discovered that bees died when they stung and often had sugar water waiting for any bee in need, and knew that she wouldn't hurt anyone - not even a fly.

by the time her hogwarts letter saw fit to arrive, sarala treated her daughter's magic as little more than a quirk - just another thing to love, even if it did occasionally drive her around the bend when she did the dishes with a wave of her hand rather than by hand. mcgonagall's arrival, however, was one that really set the cat among the pigeons.

the thing is: emmeline had had plans. she was going to study for her a-levels, and then apply to veterinary school, and open up her own practice - work with the farms in the area, save the local wildlife where she could, rehabilitate those that needed it. those dreams all got shelved the minute mcgonagall turned up on their doorstep, a parchment clutched in her hand and glasses perched on her nose. that's not to say there isn't joy in her discovery that there are more like her, but there's a mourning, too.

the magical world is fantastical. there is so much wonder, so many things that emmeline had thought were myths live, still, hidden away by magic. merlin - myrddin - was real. the second she steps foot there, she feels the belonging she only felt out in the fields, in the forests, in the clearings and on top of the cliffs: like she was home. sarala knows she can't deny her daughter this, even if part of her wishes she could be that selfish.

the train to hogwarts is only the second time she'd been on one: the first had been the train to london, from which the neighbors had turned out in droves, waving from the platform and yelling well wishes for her journey to her new private school. it's nerve-wracking, and terrifying, and she cries in the bathroom when she's supposed to be getting changed until someone knocks and she knows they're there.

ravenclaw is the hat's only choice. she would have suited hufflepuff, he muses in her ear, but that was not what she needed. the house of the lions would be too much - too caustic, too loud, much too chaotic for a soul like hers, no matter how brave she is - and slytherin was a non-starter. she would find safety, solitude and the knowledge she sorely desires in that ivory tower.

of all of the classes, care of magical creatures is the one she thrives in. (herbology is another, but anybody who spent as much as five minutes with her, would know the reason why.) friends and foes alike share exasperation over her single-minded obsession, her refusal to damn magical animals as evil or undeserving of care. even her head of house knows what her career choice will be before he asks, a wry smile lingering: a magizoologist, sir. just like newt scamander.

her years at hogwarts mostly pass unscathed, though she sees others who do not, and offers them what little help she can. a shoulder to cry on here, a handkerchief there, a stroll in the morning sun or a whispered word in the ear of someone better equipped to help. when graduation comes, emmeline slips between the worlds, refusing to leave her mother behind - until she hears back from the apprenticeship posting she'd replied to months earlier.

the scamander family have a long and storied legacy. or, well, they have two legacies, depending on which family line is followed. emmeline, ever the magical creature enthusiast, follows newt's - and is rewarded with the apprenticeship of her dreams. she spends the next two years hopping from country to country, sending postcards and owls - exotic and otherwise - home, to anyone who she thinks will read her ramblings.

and when she comes home, newly minted with a mastery, the world has changed. it's like her old neighbour used to say - a watched pot never boils, until it's boiling over. the energy is different. there's a wariness to people, a slowly creeping foreboding. everybody's getting tetchier, rumors adding fuel to the fire to the point that even emmeline cannot ignore it.

for now, she sits and she watches. two years have past, and the rumors have slowly begun to crystalize into truths that are hard to ignore, and even harder to swallow. the wizarding world keeps getting drawn back to darkness, as if circling a drain, and emmeline knows instinctively that it's only a matter of time before she's dragged into it. if not for her noted inability to hold a grudge, then for her blood status - both a secret and entirely otherwise.

(but watching can only last so long. inaction can only be accepted for so long, by herself and by the masses, and the order needs people like her. people who don't strike suspicion when they're at one end of the country one day and at the other the next. and emmeline knows herself: she has a bleeding heart, and the order is the only organisation with which she can attempt to preserve it instead of breaking it.)

Jesus the Avatar

God’s Manifestation in Divine Incarnations

For mere mortals to cope with a life of unsolved and unsolvable mysteries in an inscrutable universe would indeed be an overwhelming challenge were it not for divine emissaries who come on earth to speak with the voice and authority of God for the guidance of man. Aeons past, in ancient higher ages in India, rishis enunciated the manifestation of Divine Beneficence, of “God with us,” in terms of divine incarnations, avatars—God incarnate on earth in enlightened beings…. Many are the voices that have intermediated between God and man, khanda avatars, or partial incarnations in God-knowing souls. Less common are the purna avatars, liberated beings who are fully one with God; their return to earth is to fulfill a God-ordained mission. The Lord in the sacred Hindu Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, declares:

“Whenever virtue declines and vice predominates, I incarnate as an Avatar. In visible form I appear from age to age to protect the virtuous and to destroy evildoing in order to reestablish righteousness.”

The same one glorious infinite consciousness of God, the Universal Christ Consciousness, Kutastha Chaitanya, becomes familiarly apparelled in the individuality of an enlightened soul, graced with a distinguishing personality and godly nature appropriate to the times and purpose of thet incarnation. Without this intercession of God’s love come to earth in the example, message, and guiding hand of His avatars, it would scarce be possible for groping humanity to find the path into God’s kingdom midst the dark miasma of world delusion, the cosmic substance of human habitation. Lest His benighted children be lost forever in creation’s delusive labyrinths, the Lord comes again and again in God-illumined prophets to light the way….

Jesus was preceded by Gautama Buddha, the “Enlightened One,” whose incarnation reminded a forgetful generation of the Dharma Chakra, the ever-rotating wheel of karma—self-initiated action and its effects which make each man, and not a Cosmic Dictator, responsible for his own present condition. Buddha brought heart back into the arid theology and mechanical rituals into which the ancient Vedic religion of India had fallen after the passing of a higher age in which Bhagavan Krishna, India’s most beloved of avatars, preached the way of divine love and God-realization through the practice of the supreme spiritual science of yoga, union with God.

Divine intercession to mitigate the cosmic law of cause and effect [karma], by which a man suffers from his errors, was at the heart of the mission of love Jesus came to fulfill…. Jesus came to demonstrate the forgiveness and compassion of God, whose love is a shelter even from exacting law. The Good Shepherd of souls opened his arms to all, rejecting none, and with universal love coaxed the world to follow him on the path to liberation through the example of his spirit of sacrifice, renunciation, forgiveness, love for friend and enemy alike, and supreme love for God above all else. As the tiny babe in the manger at Bethlehem, and as the savior who healed the sick and raised the dead and applied the salve of love on the wounds of errors, the Christ in Jesus lived among men as one of them that they too might learn to live like gods.

Christ Consciousness: Oneness With God’s Infinite Intelligence and Bliss Pervading All Creation

To understand the magnitude of a divine incarnation, it is necessary to understand the source and nature of the consciousness that is incarnate in the avatar. Jesus spoke of this consciousness when he proclaimed: “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30) and “I am in the Father, and the Father in me” (John 14:11). Those who unite their consciousness to God know both the transcendent and the immanent nature of Spirit—the singularity of the ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Bliss of the Uncreate Absolute, and the myriad manifestations of His Being as the infinitude of forms into which He variegates Himself in the panorama of creation.

There is a distinguishing difference of meaning between Jesus and Christ. His given name was Jesus; his honorific title was “Christ.” In his little human body called Jesus was born the vast Christ Consciousness, the omniscient Intelligence of God omnipresent in every part and particle of creation.

The universe is not the result merely of a fortuitous combination of vibrating forces and subatomic particles, as proposed by material scientists —a chance excrescence of solids, liquids, and gases into earth, oceans, atmosphere, plants, all harmoniously interrelated to provide a habitable home for human beings. Blind forces cannot organize themselves into intelligently structured objects. As human intelligence is needed to put water into the small square compartments of an ice tray to be frozen into cubes, so in the coalescence of vibration into progressively evolving forms throughout the universe we see the results of a hidden Immanent Intelligence.

What could be more miraculous than the evident presence in every speck of creation of a Divine Intelligence? How the mighty tree emerges from a tiny seed. How countless worlds roll in infinite space, held in a purposeful cosmic dance by the precise adjustment of universal forces. The Symbolic Meaning of Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi

Lord Vishnu is Hindu Myth

Hindu’s recognise Vishnu as the “protector.” He is the aspect of your personality that can dissolve the ego and uphold new Dharmas that enable you to develop peace of mind and bliss.

Ayurvedic teachings describe consciousness as being present. By taking control of emotions present in the five elements and the three gunas, you can take control of your life and master the energies of universal manifestation.

Vishnu is the higher consciousness that guides us and downloads messages that inform us what the right actions are to take. The problem most of us suffer is not knowing when we receive these messages because we are rooted in base consciousness.

Conscious comes to us as a thought, symbolised by Brahma in Hindu mythology. In the “Padma Purana”, Vishnu gives birth to Brahma who blossoms from the lotus flower that sprouts from Vishnu’s navel.

Brahma is said to be the creator of all things. He is the manifestation of ideas in the physical plane. The Lotus flower symbolises enlightenment, implying that consciousness passed to mortals is the Absolute Truth. The instructions to follow.

The Rig Veda states: “Vishnu is the most ancient of all, yet also the most recent. Nothing and no one creates Vishnu, yet Vishnu creates everyone and everything.”

In essence, the Supreme deity is a creative source but serves a greater purpose as the preserver. Escaping the bonds of the habitual mind is not easy and Vishnu has to keep a check that right actions are being followed.

It is said that Vishnu created the world with the right side of his body – that which is controlled by the left-side hemisphere of the brain. Although there are creative aspects in the right-side of the brain, it is widely accepted that most creative powers arise from the left side of the brain.

The right side of the brain is associated with collecting information and analysis. It’s the sensible part of the brain that talks us through what we should really do.

The Incarnations of Vishnu

All matter is conscious which evolves. As Absolute conscious, Vishnu creates the world through Brahma, and Hindu mythology gives an account of the evolution of Earth in the incarnations of Vishnu.

According to legend, Vishnu has reincarnated nine times so far. They are:

Matsya, the fish Kurma, the Turtle (reptiles) Vahara, the pig (animal life) Narasimha, half man, half lion Vaman, the man-dwarf Parashuram the man with an axe Rama – moral man Krishna – philosophical man Buddha – enlightened man

As consciousness evolves in nature it consistently creates improved versions of itself. But Vishnu can only do this with the help of his wife Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity.

The Symbolic Meaning of Lakshmi

Lakshmi emerged from the churning of the milky ocean on a lotus flower and subsequently incarnates amongst mankind in various forms. Described as ‘the mother of the world’ the goddess nurtures consciousness.

Lakshmi cleans Vishnu’s feet to show her nurturing nature. In chapter 8 of the Vishnu Purana says:

“Vishnu is meaning, she is speech; Hari is polity, she is prudence; Vishnu is understanding, she is intellect, he is righteousness, she is devotion.”

Lakshmi means ‘goals’ and as the goddess of wealth, beauty and love is said to reside in those that are prospering in life. In Hindu art she is always depicted sitting on a one hundred petal lotus indicated she is pure.

Together with Vishnu, Lakshmi is Absolute Consciousness, or The Truth.

Her four arms represent Dharma (doing the right thing), prosperity, perfection and freedom from mental and emotional bondages.

Other qualities of Lakshmi are portrayed through the elephants she is often pictured with. In Hindu esoteric symbolism, elephants represent strength, wisdom and patience, qualities needed to nurture.

The symbolic meaning of Hindu symbols

In ancient myth and Hindu art, Vishnu carries symbolic objects in his four hands and lies on a bed of floating serpents. The serpents represent the wisdom and peace of a calm mind that is freed from anxious thought.

Vishnu’s other symbols are:

Conch = vibrational frequencies and energetic forces that create and sustain all life in the universe. Scientifically speaking, Vishnu is the personification of the Conscious Universe.

Mace = the destructive nature of the god. It symbolizes the dissolution of ego and negative traits or even the destruction of the universe itself.

Bow or Lotus Flower = Both the lotus and the bow represent awakened consciousness that allows you to see beyond the veil of illusion.

Discus = The spinning discus symbolises Purity of mind and used by Vishnu to destroy demons.

The symbolic meaning of Vishnu and Lakshmi relates to the highest forms of human consciousness that we are aware of. Together they tell us what to do, and give us the ability to nurture Brahma into fruition.

oh this year's been crazy lmao but i think the coming one will be way better in terms of motivation and hard work! i can just sense it XD (lord krishna if you're reading this rn then please tell me i'm right- /jjj lmao) but srly, it was pretty bad in terms of my emotional well being, so i'm hoping for a better year ahead! regardless, a lot of good things have happened too so i'm quite satisfied, although i did deserve better.

Oh my god I just finished reading To Love a Murderer and it was so good😭😭 Kanha and Lila AHSKDBSNABAN💗💗. Also Satya jiji and Lila the best girl duo to ever exist. Anyway I was wondering how everybody in Dwarka must have reacted to her death (🥲). They must have been so distraught, Kanha when alone sometimes just thinks abt her and remembers their time together (he also kept her mangalsutra with him), for a few months he skipped going to his daily walks at the beach altogether, or when Satya jiji is stargazing and she suddenly remembers Lila and how they first met, when Charumati remembers how Lila braided her hair, satyaki and kritavarma too remember her when they spar. When Kanha although knows the laws of karma better than anyone is still sometimes hit with sudden pangs seperation and grief , he too finds peace in Rukmini jiji's garden just like Lila did with him a long time ago.

I assume Lila had multiple births after that. And through each birth Kanha stood by her. Even tho he might not be physically there she feels someone's presence with her all the time. Or maybe presence of two people even, one more feminine. Each birth Lila feels a strong longing for someone and for Dwarka. She might not remember but the land of Dwarka does.

You maybe wanna expand on that or maybe even a small chap😏(no pressure tho I just wanted to share it with you because it's in my head 24/7)
