Warnings: BIGGGGG Rdr2 spoilers, mentions of racism, after the gang gets split up, big time jump, no beta reader, i tried to be historically accurate!!!, descriptions of a panic attack

Summary: It's been a few years since the gang split up. You don't know anyones whereabouts, nor do you know if they're alive or not. But in your new, mundane life, you find a lead to your past. (PS: the most of the story is snippets of the gang splitting.)

AN: sorry this took so long.......... stuff is happening in my life and i found this in my drafts while looking for a distraction. i also didnt know if this was good or not, and idk if u guys would like the big change in the story but i hope u guys like this!!!

Beaver Hollow sucks. Everything sucks. Honestly, maybe this entire gang sucks.

Dutch sent you two out, acting as messengers for Eagle flies and his father. Neither of you agreed that what Dutch was doing would benefit their tribe, but Eagle Flies was determined. His courage, although strong, blinded him.

After you and Arthur had gone on that fishing trip not long ago, you’ve found yourself hanging around him more often; not that he minded. Naturally, you two started talking. You opened up about your past before the gang, and he told stories of his youth that hadn’t already been shared around the campfire.

However, this came with some downsides.

You and Arthur had an argument the other day. Well, you tried to have an argument, and Arthur listened.

You and Arthur went hunting this time. The sun was setting, and crickets emerged along with god-awful amounts of mosquitoes. After countless tries at Arthur’s bow and arrow you grew more and more frustrated. Turns out, it’s not as easy as pull and release. Because of the added factors of your now seemingly constant anger and the frustration of each failed attempt, you blew up at Arthur.

This included the usual, “people are worried; Dutch is insane; do something,” pleas coming from you, and Arthur’s “i know, kid; kid, I know; we’re trying our best; keep it down the camp’s gonna hear,” replies.

You went to bed that night fuming. ’We’re doing our best’? Come on! After all that’s happened, the best is far from the current situation of the gang. He’s just lying through his teeth, and for what? 

You can take the truth.

The path below you two crunched as gravel dug deeper into the earth, your horses occasionally huffing as they walked along the trail. Tall, top-heavy trees were scattered amongst pine, birds chirping and singing on sturdy branches. Wildflowers that sprouted in vibrant shades of orange and purple were scattered along the sides of the path, mingling with short grass that wasn’t entirely green, yellowing as the year grew old. 

Critters, mainly squirrels or chipmunks, ran across the beaten path. It gave both of you quite the scare as you rode along, not wishing to kill the poor creatures for no inherent reason. The air was chilly, but not cold. It wasn’t warm, but it was stuffy. From the ridge, you could see more trees separated by a shimmering lake in the distance, which was surrounded by… more trees.

“It’s been a weird few days,” Arthur spoke up, his voice gravelly, rough. He sounded hesitant and almost awkward, like he was trying to talk, but couldn’t find a good starter. 

You cleared your throat, “Yeah. Do you… is Dutch… Does this sorta thing happen often?” you asked vaguely, glancing at Arthur in your peripheral vision. 

“What do you mean?

“...This. Y’know the runnin’ east, and… people dyin’. It’s makin’ me worried, Arthur.” 

Arthur fell into a short, thoughtful silence, disrupted by a harsh cough to the side. He cleared his throat and looked forward again, reaching ahead to pat his horse on the neck. “This ain’t happened before. Lots of folks are worried, but… We’ll do what we can, kid, just try to stay strong.” He replied, using the same excuse he’d use for every other person at camp.

You hesitated. The gang had been doing what they could. They had for a long time, but it only seemed to kill people. Dutch lead the gang with determination, mowing down anyone standing between him and his unachievable goals. These decisions, however, came with sacrifices. Sacrifices that stood behind him, praised his actions and followed his lead like a lamb, because they wouldn’t be able to do such a thing if it weren’t for him. Sacrifices that never stood in his way. Sacrifices that were lucky to have a grave, to be spoken of afterwards.

What if you became one of them?

“But Dutch, he- he made these choices, and… I don’t… he’s not right in the mind,” You reasoned in the nicest way possible, praying that the man beside you wouldn’t be ticked off by your remark. Judging by his opinions on the gang’s recent affairs, though, you don’t think he will.

Arthur, again, was silent. You took this as an opportunity to continue.

“I’m scared, Arthur. I’m really scared.” God, that’s not how you wanted to sound. Saying those words sounded like a plea, like you were a child. But what you said was partly how you felt, and maybe honesty was what was needed at the moment. Anxiousness and anger bubbled under your skin, the seeds of upcoming dread sprouting from when they were sown at the Blackwater robbery. “It- this ain’t normal. This is bad, Arthur, there must be somethin’ we can do.”

“I know, trust me, and I wish there was,” Arthur sighed, adjusting his gambler hat. “I’d be lyin’ if I said I weren’t scared, too. You shouldn’t have to deal with this. It ain’t fair to you; you’re just a kid.” He finished, neither agreeing or disagreeing with your previous statements. “But I’m… look, we’re all doin’ our best.”

Now, you know that’s true. You’re not stupid; but really? I mean, the gang had been on the run for months. So many people have died, and now Arthur’s saying that’s the best that they could do? Bullshit. Frustration simmered in your chest, like an urge that needed to be quelled. It itched and burned, your jaw tensing as he spoke.

“I know, but that’s- we wouldn’t be here if we were doin’ our best, I mean, God, come on, so many folks are dead, and it ain’t gettin’ better-” “Kid, please-” “and people are worried! People have died, Arthur, and Dutch won’t give up. Please, Arthur, just listen-” “I am listenin’, but-” “nothin’s getting better, people are scared, and- and what’s wrong with you? You ain’t been actin’ like you usually do, people are worried-” “That’s enough. We’ve already discussed this,” Arthur interrupted, his voice serious and hardened. It cut through the sound of birds chirping, the sound blurring into the background as your stomach practically dropped. Arthur never spoke to you in that way, meaning you likely crossed a line; with the tensions and questions coming from the members of the gang, it’s not surprising he was a little fed up.

You took a deep breath, glancing at him before looking forward once again. “I just- Arthur, we’re worried. We wanna know what’s wrong.”

The two of you fell into silence once more. This time, though, the sound of birds, leaves, or wind didn’t fill it.

“Kid, look, this isn’t your business. You shouldn’t be the one worried about this stuff, this ain’t what you should be spendin’ your time on.”

“Arthur, please-” “No, and I ain’t gonna say it again.”

So that was that.

In the back of your mind, something screamed that you had to do something, anything. But Dutch was so on edge, and after Micah did who knows what with the dog, Cain? You’re a little scared to step out of line.

But when Molly was shot by Ms. Grimshaw, you screamed at her. Then, when everyone chose sides, you went with Arthur. 

Dutch stood at one side of the camp, shouting at Arthur with Micah by his side. With him stood Micah and Javier, though the latter was aiming his gun towards the hazy, darkening sky. You, despite the fact that the others told you to go, stood with Arthur, Sadie, John and Charles. Without a gun to aim at the others, you simply stayed to show who your loyalty lay with. 

And then the men came.

The law.

You ran, and you ran hard. But horses were no match for a scrawny teenager's legs, and you didn’t get far before a lawman tackled you down. 

At the moment, the only thing running through your head is that this has got to be a nightmare. No, this is a nightmare. Your vision almost seemed to darken, everything around you growing suffocatingly close. The lawman’s shouting drowned in the dark abyss of tree shadows and your cotton filled ears. Your heart beat out of your chest, and in the back of your mind, you knew that this was happening. That this isn’t a nightmare. 

They dragged you away kicking and screaming, away to the shit filled streets and swampy air of Saint Denis. You could’ve sworn you’d seen John before you were taken away from the gang’s campgrounds.

Now, your life lay in the biassed hands of the law, and not a mentally ill middle aged man and the snake in his ear. You thought that you would’ve been sent to the gallows without another thought, but despite being an ‘outlaw’, you never truly committed crimes. At least, no one saw you commit your crimes. Therefore, the law deemed you a kidnapped child in need of a ‘civil’ way of life.

So, you were taken to what they called the “orphan trains”. An ominous thing that you were not thrilled for. They were trains that’d take orphaned kids from big cities to the lonely midwest, a place you were so unfortunately familiar with.

It had been years.

Years of helping the woman you were supposed to find maternal collect eggs, of tilling crops, of scrubbing dishes with rowdy, annoying kids you were meant to call your siblings. Of birthdays past without the gang; and now, you were almost an adult.

But one day, your foster dad left his newspaper on the dining table, a mistake he would regret later. The newspaper said something that, after months of mundane and domestic boredom, piqued your interest.

Morning light streamed through the lacy curtains of the kitchen’s windows, the wood of the house creaking under the pressure of the wind. 

Your foster dad, David, was reading the daily news, an ankle on his knee as he went about his morning routine while you were sitting at the dining table quietly. Your foster mother, Anne, was washing dishes from breakfast when one of the boys you’d been living with barged through the door of the house.

The woman startled, dropping a dish into the water. “Jeremy!” Anne scolded, looking at the boy.

“I think one of the horses is having a baby!” he shouted, two of the other kids following him and saying things along the lines of ‘hurry up, come on!’ at the man and woman. David shot up from his seat and Anne dropped what she was doing, telling you amongst the chaos to finish up the dishes as she left the house.

You stood from your seat, watching everyone rush out with slight annoyance. When the door shut, you pushed out your chair, the wood making a screeching sound as it slid across the hardwood floors. Standing up, you walked over the creaky wood to David’s newspaper that sat on the dining table. 

It was full of boring deals and uninteresting stories, but one stuck out. It was about an underground fighting ring, which wouldn’t have caught your eye if it weren’t for the witness statements.

One in particular said some very distasteful things about a man of mixed race, but the summary was that he was Indigenous and African-American.

Indigenous and African-American.

You only know one man who is of those two ethnicities. Granted, you don’t know many people; but still, Indigenous, African American, and an outlaw? Come on.

The second after you read that passage, you made a plan. You’d leave at the dead of night, as soon as possible. Maybe it’s not solid, nor is it well thought through, but there’s no time for that. That night, you pack your things as light as possible.

And then, you finally start your journey back to Saint Denis.

forgive me if you're not interested, but I'd actually love to hear more of your thoughts on the maroon arc, what you thought was/wasn't done well. would u like to share?

hii i didnt see this. im gonna apologize right away bc this is not gonna be organized i have talked soooo much today already and im tired lol.

for starters what i think was done best is flint and madis dynamic. its incredibly well played both as individual characters and as representatives of pirates and maroons in relation to empire. their chemistry is crazy and their dialogues are extremely didactic. i also find that flint not immediately viewing the maroons as natural allies but as tools to reach his own purposes and later deconstructing that after getting involved with them aggregates to his ongoing theme of progressive radicalization which i think is also a highlight of the maroon arc in the way it makes it explicit for good that his political stance has done a 360 and is now entirely discordant from the one he had as a lieutenant in every aspect that matters. freeing and partnering with the maroons is expected after that and i dont think theres anything special on that regard. then the shitty parts are essentially everything else. especially steinberg admitting he stalled to really explore the topic of slavery due to not being in his element as a white guy but still not putting black people on the team to do it. this reflects very obviously in the show and makes the entire arc feel rushed and reticent besides leaving a billion loose threads and missing opportunities to appropriately explore character dynamics that couldve been way more interesting (such as silver/julius/flint & madi/eme & madi/eleanor & eleanor/scott) and really engage confidently in the impact that flint and the pirates having canonically sold slaves would have had in their relationship. speaking of julius i also very much felt like it was a tragedy to hinder his presence and had they started it earlier or extended it longer his perspective on war vs. protecting his community as opposed to madi’s for example would have been probably my favorite part of the arc. i know the version in my head of it is. all in all its a vital arc for the story and everyone slayed really hard with with they had i just wish the creators hadnt shied away from all the implications of it. if i had the energy to go look for some posts for u i would bc my mutuals have definitely also discussed this before but alas. thanks for asking anyways feel free to add ur own thoughts or question mine further

LMFAO okok so this is a ramble of things (but not everything ofc ofc) that my work bestie told me because dude i was so detached from everything and everyone that this was a whole shock

for starters, code names: S (work bestie), N (coworker who’s cheating on his fiancee), B (coworker cheating with N)

i found out abt this bc S ran to my new office and asked if she can talk to me and ofc i said yes bc i luv her to death yk. so she pulls me aside yesterday, it’s 4pm by this time, and she says N and B are in HR right now

i was confused bc N and B are two of the kindest ppl in the firm! im the youngest so far and theyre all so welcoming, and me and B are even on the track of being as close as i am with S. so i ask what the hell happened

S said that N’s fiancee called our boss and spilled the beans. said that she was told, she wont tell who, that B and N are cheating on her with each other. there were no proof but apparently the one who told her particularly catalogued the dates of B and N having days-off’s that kept matching (basically like theyre taking time off tgt but in the guise that they arent). tbh i assumed that it was S who told N’s fiancee but she apparently didnt know that B and N had even crossed the line

that said S admitted she knew about this whole mess bc B told her that she likes N, and that B doesnt care that N has a fiancee. i said wtf and S said wtf too and apparently B said that N is showing signs that hes unhappy with his fiancee

S said thats not for B to decide? and even chewed out N for leading B on. and if he rlly liked B then go fucking break up with his fiancee right?? but N said theyre just friends and idk what happened but ig that denial of their spark led to B being more forward? bc, again, next thing S knew was that they crossed the damn line

so our boss pulled B and N aside and theyre being dealt w yesterday (theyre still not in the office today)

damn back dermals for ur beginner piercing?? but no judgment here, hell i think it will look good . tongue splitting is hella sick though

honestly for starter piercings, i will always recommend ears specifically lobes. the most common piercings & easiest to heal. others make their way up the ear once they feel more comfortable. upper lobes, lower lobes, helix etc etc. i did the same.

but the next best options if you don’t want neither is septrum or maybe nostrils. those i’ve seen most commonly.

honestly, it all depends on your pain tolerance tbh & as long as u have good aftercare with ur piercings. super cool that u are interested in them though . if i didnt have work management down my throat, i would definitely get snakebites

he doesn't get outwardly super scared, but he DOES shiver or make discontented noises when he's scared. playing horror games with him is kinda funny. if you make him play a vr horror game he will hate you forever and ever. it's rly funny tho.

he tries way too hard. with everything. pre-incident? being a role model, being cool, being a trainer, being a champion for like one month, being stereotypically romantic, etc. post-incident? being scary, being intimidating, etc.

despite this he is still very dorky and awkward. at least pre-incident. it was common. type of guy to lean on a wall but he falls

he wears light cologne. i'd say he wears axe 3-in-1 but that'd be way too rude to both me and other stevenlikers.

pre-incident he trips over his words sometimes, sometimes his tones too flat, sometimes he speaks too loudly or quietly, etc etc. Basically. 'tism.

he's good at clue, the board game.

pronounces gif like "g.i.f" ( like it's an acronym ). please, god, make fun of him for this.

his hands are always cold for no fucking reason post-incident. if you hold his hands in the summer it kind of helps the heat go away. love wins

really wanted a guitar. he's a dork so he does air guitar sometimes when no ones looking or does guitar motions while holding a long thing that isn't a guitar. He would play guitar hero and be absolutely mid at it but blue and red think he's the coolest fucking thing ever for it. This is inspired by somebody elses hc i think(????). if u read this. ur a real one and r so true.

because of this if you actually got him a guitar i think he'd make a small genuine smile. he has executive dysfunction and depression so itd probably take a while for him to actually do anything with it, but he rlly appreciates the gesture.

also kinda has a good singing voice but is better at backing vocals.

he organizes things a bit too much, which stopped during his spiral phase, but for example his pc boxes are like. a living dex, or just by pokedex number. he prob never completed his dex tho. mike though who did/almost did, has Entirely unorganized boxes. after the incident he obviously stopped caring bc depression so like. yeah. so his rooms a little unorganized and his house in general. he will silently appreciate it if you organize it for him.

never allowed miki to have eggs bc 1; gen 1 limitations. idk how that'd work in universe but that'd probably be why it didnt happen in the pokepastas. 2; as you can tell. he's kinda overprotective of miki. also charizards aren't like. very regular pokemon you find and he wouldn't want to breed her with a ditto. and would only want to allow her to if she actually found a for-life mate.

and for the x reader-ification of this in the edit bc i misread the ask, he'd also do it if ur dating him and u have a pokemon. for example, whatever starter you have and miki would b cute. straight couple.. yuri couple.. yaoi couple... love is love and miki doesnt care. its cute and they act all cuddly and snuggly with eachother probably. kinda reminds you of u an steven too

speaking of miki is larger than normal charizards and probably is built a little different literally and figuratively. stevens tall. miki is taller though. at the very least post incident Corpse Miki is. how unique she was did not help stevens rage ( getting a new one would not be nearly the same especially due to that + he would never. ) but it was a smaller factor in everything. also i do not think that thang can lay eggs post-incident. sorry if u wanted a fucked up missingno charmander.

even if the trade incident happened but miki came out alive he'd still go on a depression spiral. he probably wouldn't kill mike in the end, but he'd be much quieter, and would be even more paranoid. would probably willingly move away from mike or separate their rooms at the least. if u were dating him during this time you could probably at least still recover him from this state since its less serious but the tension would be palpable for a while.

mike is your number 1 wingman for steven swooning. he's kind of bad at being a wingman. or he's good at it. whichevers funnier in your opinion tbh. but he knows what steven likes ( at least he hopes he does ) so he gives you tips and tricks for wooing him. or he gives steven tips and tricks on wooing you because he knows both of you n hangs out with both enough to know.

this is a headcanon with basically no basis but theres a part of me that kind of likes steven and mike being born in johto or somethin'. which is why he goes to johto in doors open after the incident. he's running away from his past + kanto + it's his home region. At least for a while. so he sometimes likes to travel around with miki and you there, or to other places.

he double-checks a lot of things way too much. like if things are locked, if things are properly in place, and if wires are properly connected and not fucked up or tangled or broken ( iykyk ). if you check for him and reassure him everythings fine he'll calm down slightly, but his paranoia goes "okay but what if they didnt check enough."

if you told s!3v3n he was being a bad boy like a fucking dog when he does smth you dont like he probably would actually look like a dejected puppy for a moment and sit in a corner ( /j. maybe. )

s!3v3n's got big fuckin shadowy hands. and claws. good for backscratching or massages oddly enough, if asked for....????

steven will try to impress you by playing a videogame and doing something cool. he probably fails or almost fails at it. but its kind of endearing and cute anyways.

he's left-handed ( definitely not projecting ). for symmetry, mike is right-handed. also miki is ambidextrous. How can a Charizard be ambidextrous you ask? You know. For fun. Daisy is also ambidextrous though which is the more normal option.

i mean... steven is probably also ambidextrous with anything other than writing/drawing ( PROJECTING HARDER ).

Day 7: First 9 days of Lancaster

The atmosphere is casual and bustling with activity. YANG sits at a table, looking determined. JAUNE and RUBY, both nervous and fidgety, take a seat across from each other.

Yang: *leaning forward* Alright, you two. We're here to have a good time, so let's break the ice! Jaune, Ruby, why don't you start by introducing yourselves?

Jaune: *looking down, mumbling* Uh, h-hi, I'm J-Jaune Arc. Nice to, uh, meet you…

Ruby: *nervously twirling her hair* H-hey, I'm Ruby Rose. It's, um, nice to meet you too…

Yang: *irritated* YOU ALREADY INTRODUCE YOURSELF 50 TIMES IN YOUR ROOM!!

the sudden burst didnt make the situation better, so Yang took a deep breath before she continue.

Yang: Calming down Why dont we open up with something new? How old are you two? Are you in any clubs?

Yang: energetically Alright, let's try something else. Since you both are in college, what courses are you taking?

Jaune: nervously I-I'm studying software engineering.

Ruby: softly I'm majoring in art.

Yang smiles, happy to see them sharing their academic interests.

Yang: So how's your course do you enjoy it?

Ruby: Y-yes..

Jaune: Y yeah..

Yang waited and realises they've finished their sentence, and to keep the conversation flowing she ask again.

Yang: That's great! You both have unique paths, combining creativity and technology. So, what about extracurricular activities? Are you involved in any clubs or groups?

Jaune and Ruby exchange awkward glances, clearly uncomfortable with the question.

Jaune: avoiding eye contact Uh, No… I haven't really joined any clubs.

Ruby: nervously Yeah, me neither.

Yang notices their hesitation and tries to think of another way to find common ground.

Yang: thinking Hmm, maybe you both know someone in common? Like a mutual friend or someone from your classes?

Jaune: shaking his head I don't think so. I don't go out often

Ruby: disappointed I haven't really had the chance to meet many people outside of my art class.

Yang pauses for a moment, realizing that finding a common friend might not be as easy as she thought.

Yang: annoyed Come on, guys! Stop with the Dry answers!! We need to find something to talk about. This is supposed to be an opportunity to get to know each other better.

Ruby and Jaune lower their heads, feeling guilty for their inability to keep the conversation flowing.

Just as Yang is about to scold them, both Ruby and Jaune's phones simultaneously emit a notification sound. They glance at their screens and see that their favorite game has released a new update with exciting gacha banners. They looked at each other, Not sure on how to make the first move

Ruby: Shyly Do you play that game too?

Jaune: U-mmm Yeah… I do, I've spend most of my free time playing it. There's a character I wanted to get.

Ruby: Ooh! Me too!! I've been trying to pull this one specific character for weeks! They have such powerful abilities.

Jaune: Smiles I actually managed to get that character recently! They're a game-changer, for sure.

Yang watches with relief as Ruby and Jaune engage in an animated conversation, their shyness fading away.

Yang: smiling See? You both have something in common that you're passionate about. It's a great conversation starter.

Ruby starts to feel happy. realises thats its nice to have someone to talk to.

Ruby: Hey Jaune, There's this mission that requires two player. Would you like to play with me?

Jaune: nervously I-I would love to! That sounds like a lot of fun.

Ruby's face lights up with excitement as they exchange shy smiles.

Yang: teasingly Looks like you two are hitting it off.

Ruby and Jaune both blush at Yang's remark.

Ruby: softly Y-yeah, Let's exchange numbers.

They take out their phones and quickly swap numbers, their fingers slightly trembling with nervousness.

Jaune: looking at the time Actually, I should probably get going soon. It's getting late.

Ruby: Oh, alright. Thanks for coming over and talking with me, Jaune.

Jaune: sincerely No problem, Ruby. I had a great time too. And don't worry, we'll play that mission together soon.

Ruby smiles, appreciating Jaune's reassurance.

Yang: Take Care Jaune

Jaune: Thanks a lot. I'll see you guys back.

Ruby and Yang bid Jaune farewell as he gathers his things and leaves the restaurant.

Ruby: Under her breath My.. First…

Yang: curious Hey, Ruby, is everything okay? You seem a bit flustered. Did you say something?

Ruby: looking down, blushing Oh, um, well… It's just that… this is the first time I've ever had a boy's phone number.

Yang: Well there's first time in everything.

recently got a super kind anon ask that wanted to see all the maps ive collected of nordsea over the years, and im like not proud of them but i do love how those islands actually looked sooo this is that! Idk how to make the map look good, its never been something i cared about and you can def see that so im sorry🫢 but yea this is sadly all the ones i could find.. its not a lot and im surprised i didnt save more of them?? but hope this is still kinda fun to look at😌

i’ve mentioned it before but i own two switches! i was too broke to get a regular switch back in 2020 so i got a switch lite and then saved up to get a regular one a year later! i knew pretty early on that i loved the decorating part of acnh and was always very focused on that, however.. i also listened a lot to all the older players who said that part of the fun is the “forever-town” and so i decided that i also wanted that… even tho i didnt treat nordsea as a forever-the-same type island since i just like redoing it too much! so i’ve had over 10 versions by now lol.. i like challenges and themes and all that after all💛

first map is the oldest one i have, u can see my starters lol! second one is the first ever finished version of nordsea, and the last one is the last 1.0 version that i really loved!

first map is the first version i did after 2.0 it was an autumn town, second one is from the winter version of nordsea and the last one is the one the da is set to right now👀(spring version from this season 2023)

looking at these makes me think.. i would never pick a map with two southfacing rivers anymore and would also not pick nordsea’s airport location since its close enough to res services that you can see it when you step onto the island! which can be hard to work with! but you know i’ve still managed to make it work in a way i liked over and over again?!! i like the challenge and i still like the idea of the forever island! this ask actually helped me make an interesting decision about nordsea that ive been thinking about for a while now.. but tysm for all the love for my little island over the years!!! i appreciate it so much!💛💛💛

i told them, it was all a ruse to get them closer to me so i can learn their secrets. i'd know their secrets to be able to have something to use against them in the future if they were to cross me....like they would ever cross me, right? literally immature and petty behaviour coming from year 9 me. and the year after i was so desperate for close friendships ha. anyway, yeah. did i finish explaining the beef between harold and jewel? probably not. okay, so with harold and jewel, i told harold what jewel said abt him (that she thinks he's using our friend group for popularity) and he wanted to take it to the counsellor's. like omfg. what is everyone's obsession with taking shit to the counsellor's. anyway, we took it to the counsellor's and i was being so fake and shit. harold and i met up with the counsellor beforehand, and she sent me to go fetch jewel from class. i went to go get jewel from class to come to our meeting, and i didn't answer any of her questions the whole time we walked there. so jewel and harold talked it out, and i thinkkkk jewel they did work things out but they obviously still have their suspicions about each other. so that was beef...! little miss world wanted to be the drama starter so bad, she just went about ruining friendships and lives and what not just to cause some drama for her own entertainment. at least thats what she told herself, she just wanted to feel powerful is all. like that one scene where regina george finishes spreading the burn book pages all across school, and she stands amidst the chaos with her arms crossed and a smug little smile on her face, i used to idolise that scene heavy and attempted to recreate that feeling, the power and control i could have over others. in year 8, the start of being miss world until her untimely demise in year 9 (courtesy of lockdown), i broke up a couple by being the middle girl once again. i hear both parties gossiping about one another, and then as the messenger and supposed 'peace bringer' cause i'm on good terms with both parties, i have the uppermost hand and im able to manipulate the situation however i want it to go. one of my best friends, leila, was dating yasin. she asked him out first, but later on in their relationship yasin told me that he felt pressured to accept her love confession, and was pretty much desperate for a new relationship after his previous failed one, so he accepted her love confession and began dating leila even without the love, just for the image of them two being together. and there's thing funny thing little about love. theres all kinds of love, and the love yasin had for leila was like the love a singer would have for their fans. the singer only loves the fans because they love the singer, its like a narcissistic thing. i told leila, and i was coming from a good place yk, i love leila and shes a dear friend, i didnt want to just stand idly by while i knew their relationship was built on one-sided love, and that yasin just wants to be admired by her. they broke it off, and i guess i was to blame??? for good reason....rightttt??? idk, maybe i shouldnt have said anything. i got them to talk it over at least. like, so they dont end things off on a sour note. the next year the girls and i (older girl friend group) were discussing love and crushes and shit, and i found it hard to relate, so i took the discussion as an opportunity to further fuel my little miss world title, looking ruthless and cutthroat and what not. i lied to my girls that i broke up leila and yasin because i secretly liked yasin and was jealous of leila's relationship with him. yeah. i said that. those words exited my mouth. see this is why i look back at my younger years with such annoyance. anyway, i've made my peace with all though. i don't regret many things in life, and i try not to have regrets, because i believe everything u do in life all contributes to ur overall growth as a person. i just realised the aliases i came up with for yasin and leila sound just like yasu and reira from nana. and they were like a toxic little couple as well…!!

We put a bunch of cc ideas (hair and clothes) in a discord server we have together and then work on the stuff together on call usually so each item is the way we both want me. Like for example i’ll be meshing the Ivy top while he works on texturing the ribbed version.  We also only do collabs when they happen, we didn’t plan AxA 2019 or this new set, mainly just made cc starting in May and wrapped it up in July to release in August. Then this time we started making stuff late December and got most of it done by the time I got done with my break. Having a planned collab/deadline makes stuff less stressful and the stuff usually turns out better imo

omg noooo ;n; yeah Litten is a cutie... incineroar is... well I got used to him tbh and kind of like him now? I absolutely hate scorbunny’s evolution (and most of the SWSH starters final evolution) so I think that made incineroar slightly better in my eyes. I really really wanted to have all my 2019 hairs updated by 2020. It was only January 2019-April 2019 that needed updated (thumbnails and display indexes). But I just lost motivation for doing it. I will focus on it next time I have a big break from school. Also planning on updating select stuff from 2018 and 2017.

this is a late as hell reply i’m sorry. I think that you have texture where the glasses texture would be. Hair texture should only be in hair section or hat section (if you don’t want it hat compatible). Here is a UV map layout that I use for making hair textures. It shouldnt have anything to do with weights

I do use reshade when I take cc previews. It adds a bit of saturation to my sims and gives them some shadows under their chin/clothes. Nothing major. Also, myself and @imvikai came up with the tropical punch palette together.
