New Gilmore Girl Ocs

Figured I’d put the not as developed-but-have-outgrown-the-plotbunny-nursery ones in one post so I can track them easily. Titles have the open possibility of changing. 

Sophia Gilmore I Future In My Hands I Lorelai’s younger sister. Grew up in the Gilmore House post Lorelai running away. Ends up running away to Lorelai’s/Star Hollow at some point because of Emily & Richard not really changing their parenting ways ( “spare me your feelings I’ve had my share tonight” “Oh don’t be so dramatic” ect  ) and the Everything of Hartford life and being “the hope of redeeming the Gilmore name but no pressure right?”. Possibly my first Tristan ship.

*Warnings: Fic might be Emily and Richard critical however, will keep with the show’s theme of family reconnecting,  healing, learning, and forgiveness. 

Noah Doose. I Sight Unseen I Relative to Taylor. Possibly nephew. Sent to Stars Hollow with his moms after his mental health deteriorated to the point he was placed In Patient. ( a la Eric from Gossip Girl) Joins the Stars Hollow High hockey team ( comes in circa season 2) Rory ship. Eventual RoryxLoganxpoly ship.

Warnings: Fic will mention self harm and recovery from suicidal ideation as it’s centered on a character that suffers from it  as well as with the relapses that happen in recovery as said character recovers. However it is very much angst with a happy ending ( and with fluff in the middle).

Christopher -Kit- Orion Gilmore I Still Figuring it Out I Rory’s older twin. Not academically oriented. Gay himbo. Has been out to the town since he was 13. Winds up going to Chilton at Emily’s insistence. Very meh about the whole deal. Sweet of heart dumb of ass. Goofball and Rory’s opposite in a lot of ways. Possible Tristan ship. 

Lily St. James. I All That I Knew. I Sookie’s younger sister. Raised by Sookie. Either left with Sookie when Sookie graduated or moved in with her shortly after she ( Sookie) was settled into her adult life due to both her and Sookie having abusive parents. Feral wolverine levels of protective of her older sister. ( scared the crap out of Jackson when he and Sookie started dating) Hella close with Lorelai and Rory and loves Luke a many.  Goes to SHH. Has trauma responses from her time at her  parents’ household. Possible Jess ship. 

Warnings: Fic deals with -past- parental abuse and the aftermath of leaving an abusive household. Also -past- parentification and ongoing trauma responses. Angst with a happy ending + fluff through the middle though.

Samantha Forester. I Girl From Mars I  Dean’s younger sister by a year. Middle Child Syndrome and Behavioral Problems shaken not stirred. Punk With A Heart Of Gold. Jess’ detention buddy. ( is basically in there as much as he is) Ship undecided atm. Brotp ( might develop into ship? dunno yet)  with Jess because “this town’s full of jerks” “yuhu could have told ya that” Pretty undeveloped like still technically a plot bunny but it has a title now so here. 

Warnings: might be a bit Stars Hollow critical because this kid has at the point she met Jess seen two teenage boys harassed by adults ( one of them being Dean in s1)  and copes by Sassing. Pretty light tbh and some of the town people eventually grow on her but yeah.
