I hope newbie lolitas know that the secondhand market is as big a part of the fashion as buying brand new items. A lot of more modern fashions are centered around buying brand new clothing, the cheaper the better, but lolita is not like that. A handful of secondhand brand dresses will confer exponentially more clout than a dozen cheap taobao dresses.
