Just Imagine...

Dreams being invaded by shouting. A sense of unease. Groggily you awaken with a thought on the edge of sleep (..in my head...).

With a sensation of your weight being pulled towards the middle of the bed, you roll over to find Loki sitting up, head (oh...darling) in his hands.

Smoothing hair behind his ear, you put your chin on his shoulder; notice (...my love..) he's been sweating.

Loki starts to tap his forehead. You lower his hand gently to no resistance. Lovingly, you kiss his head, his neck, the curve between his nose (..mmm..your favorite) and cheek. He pulls you back with him to lay on his chest. Muscles relax, but his heart still races.

"I can never be free of the choices I made," he sighs, "or choices I may still make. This--with you--at peace, whole--" He pauses to kiss your hand. "I deserve this. I have a good soul and everything is right. We are settled--even in this chaotic life--but my mind brings back nightmares."

Drawing circles on his chest with your fingers, you reaffirm, "Love, they are nightmares now. Dreams. You can do with them what you will."

And Loki took those words to sleep with him, this one and many nights after.

Hear me out: I am not the biggest fan of the new Doctor Strange film. I think it was too much of horror for a Marvel film and so on bla bla bla but I am still emotionally attached to it and even tho it scared the shit out of me.

It is quite a fun story bc I went to watch it on friday with a group of friends and I during the film I cried myself to death even tho there wasnt a real reason I just did bc it killed me to see my bloody comfort character becoming an insane psycho (who was still fucking hot tbh). Anyways I entered the cinema with a heart and a soul and came out without both. I was like ,,Omg this was the most terrible film Ive ever seen" ,,I hate Marvel for this" I was really disappointed. Thr next day- when I had a half clear mind again lol- I said to myself ,,Okay look dude, you went like really crazy yesterday and you might overreacted a tiny bit. The film wasnt this bad I think you should give it a second chance." What did I do? Right! Went straight to the cinema again today (today= sunday 8th May) and watched it a second time without any tears but still died at every single jumpscare. I came to the final conclusion that the fim is okay, its good somehow but I expected something different but it was still not as bad as I thought at first. And Idk why but I am emotionally attached to MoM now and I still found comfort in it. It is really hard to explain tho haha. If you read until here then you must have been really bored, havent you? Whatever- wait!!

One question I asked myself and which is also something I dislike about the film:

WHERE THE FVCK WAS LOKI?! HE WASNT EVEN IN THE BLOODY POSTCREDIT SCENE WHYYY THO!?

Okay, now I am really done haha, Loki'd.

Ok I damn near died laughing when Loki was trapped because ["I wouldn't." He would.] is the most Loki thing to have ever Loki'd. Also, also how can you make me feel so incredibly overheated from Lauren toying with Loki only to almost immediately follow it with tears? Steve and Bucky was so heartfelt and sweet and I wept like a baby. A hungry, angry baby. Then it went to full smexx mode. I think you may have actually killed me with this chapter. My heart has literally stopped. I'm dead. ☠🖤☠🖤☠🖤

I’ve always had a weakness for porcelain pale complexions with glass green eyes and raven dark hair in all genders, and there’s no denying that Tom pulls off all three of these things in a way that shows no mercy to my feminine sensibilities. Also, that leather and steel get up with that duster? Unf. 

Also, Loki is a Damn Good Villain, just the way I like them, cunning and clever and complicated. The writer in my cannot resist such a lure...

Let’s face it, our boy Tom is a good-looking gent, yes yes? He could have the personality of a gibbon and still be considered at first glance a fine looking fellow. He has that classic profile and the elegant leanness and those diamond cut cheekbones and those intensely intelligent bright eyes and that megawatt smile. 

But what honestly draws me to him is his ferocious intelligence and, even more so, the sheer genuine depth of his kindness. That has always been a trait that has stood out to me in any and all of his interviews - his compassion, his genuine sweetness, his warmth and infectious happiness. Nothing is false with him, it feels. He puts his heart on his sleeve, and it’s a heart that still remains unhardened. I find that incredibly admirable and very attractive, which is unsurprising since kindness and genuineness and compassion have always been traits I hold the highest in esteem, ones I would want any potential partner to have...

At the same time, he has this wonderful balance between Goofball Dork Beamish Boy and Intense Passionate Driven Scholar and a Gentleman. And I can only imagine how both sides would work together to bring a girl like me to her knees...

Just Imagine...

A breeze rustles the blanket on which you sit with Loki. He slowly swirls the warm mead around his glass.

"Will this be forever? This calm?"

He takes a sip, seems to ponder his own question. You watch him carefully; see the intelligence in his eyes.

"Father always says," he continues, "when life and matters appear still, they are hiding horrible truths; waiting to birth new circumstances."

You touch his cheek, softly cupping his jaw to guide him to stare into your eyes. Lifetimes of emotions in his crystalline green. You give him all the words he needs in that gesture.

Another breeze lifts the moment over the edge of the cliff past the willow.

Hello Loki beans!

I am going to be editing/updating/reblogging old stories.

My writing has changed so much since I started.

I first set out to just write down what I wanted to read. So many scenes in my head, I thought "Wait, I'll give it a go." And this chaos site is an easy place to keep it all in order.

But THOUSANDS of you have liked them enough to follow me! I feel so flattered.

Ideas do not come as quickly or as abundantly as when they were all fresh in my head so enjoy the nostalgic road I will go down.

The Soul's Breath

Twisting, turning, taking your breath away with sharp blows

And unbearable warmth.

A light breeze stirs--pleasant feeling--

Like fingers softly caressing the skin, twirling the hair.

But then a gust--everything shudders--

More abruptly the gusts sweep in,

Growing stronger, louder against the ears,

Never lessening, always engulfing in a constant swirl.

Everywhere it follows, ribbons of dust in the air.

Beating against skin, whipping hair.

Trapped.

Quiet.

Whispers break though.

Listen.

Tight but gentle wrap of comfort.

Listening through the gusts and billowing sounds;

Connecting a broken grasp.

Following blindly, hand outstretched in hope;

Gusts blow stronger, almost uplifting

As the pressure grows--look up--

Bear the gusting violence.

Eyes meet.

Sudden calm.

Where Secrets are Stowed

I so often think of this place;

Haven for wonderful dreams.

The sun (..always..) shines;

Trees blow whispers through the land.

Horrifyingly beautiful trees;

They stand as guardians.

Ripples flow as velvet across the pond,

Waiting patiently for a rain that will not come.

Delicate wisps of a willow sway from a breeze,

Hiding the full picture from view.

A rowboat weathered with age yet seemingly ageless,

Floats under those wisps.

Holding out his hand,

He beckons me come.

I am back!!! Settled after a couple years of life transitions!

Just in time for the second season in a few months.

Don't have nearly as much to crank out as when I first started--and delving more into my crossovers--but I was not gone for good.

It has been a good long while!! Let me know if any of these need updated. For those of you who are still with me, my humble soul is excited! For those who I have lost in my absence, I mentally send my thanks for taking my first steps with me!

Thank you to all my fellow beans for putting up with my absence.

Had our first kid.

Bought our first house.

Started a day care.

Been crazy to say the least, but satisfying to say the most. But I have to catch up on here because, you know, our lovely Loki has his own show!!!! I need to figure out how to get this other universe into the main one with my stories.

Just Imagine...

As in the days now gone when he would sit with the golden queen by the garden pool.

He would not notice as you approached from behind.

Stroke of the hair. Simple hello, but he knows it is you.

One thousand moments such as this yet the potency of love does not waver.

Though this black hair is longer, falling in segments of curls, he finds serenity (..ohhh...) in the familiarity of your touch (..and excitement).

No more golden queen. No more waters with reflecting stars. Only an iron table holding a cup of coffee. The bustling of the city street rather than the rustling of trimmed shrubbery.

From behind, you can see his smile in his head tilt; his comfort in his posture.

You always see him.
