One nice thing about having a human outpost near the village? Video games.
Lo’ak was compulsively pressing his thumbs and index fingers on the PlayStation controller. It was outdated and small in his hands, but the rich assortment of games to draw from was worth the effort. His fingers scanned the incessant succession of attacks, parries, and rolls he forced his PC to perform sequentially. Attack, dodge, attack, then roll, move away and heal, repeat again. His agitation and nervousness were directly proportional to the passage of time, which increasingly made him hold his breath and twist his guts in on themselves. The boss he was fighting with was really tough, he had been defeated countless times, but never, ever, did he give up. On the contrary, every time he started the boss-fight he felt more and more charged and willing, and finally, all his willpower was about to pay off. It was knocking that giant bearded knight hooded in red down this time. The tip of his tongue peeped out from his contracted lips in pure concentration, and his fingertips pressed ever more neurotically on the keys of the joystick, which he brought closer and closer to his chest as if the proximity helped to increase the force of the blows he was piercing Gael with. He squinted his eyes, thumbs aching from exertion — if he didn't get tendonitis this time, he would never get it — when a sharp sound distracted him.
Dammit, not now!
Undaunted he kept pressing X, circle, R1, dodge, now loaded shot. It was close. Very close indeed, but the trilling of the doorbell would not cease, becoming more and more insistent, in a harassing call that seemed to drill straight through his brain, until it stopped in a dazed knocking.
What the fuck, she's going to kick down the door!
He had already figured out who it was, there was only one person who knew that when he was locked there, there was no other way to get him out. He got up from the couch huffing, and threw the controller between the cushions. His revenge against Gael had gone to hell and, stifling a few expletives, went to open the door, already ready to welcome his sister through his piqued tongue. But the outburst died in the bud as soon as he saw her face flooded with tears that gushed from her lower eyelids like waterfalls. He stared at her taken aback; he had never seen his little sister so upset. Usually, it was laughter that unmolded her face, not tears.
“Tuk…”
At the sound of her name, the girl threw herself on his lean chest, clutching his shoulders, and cried. Among the sobs, he recognized one sentence, "I am ugly. Ugly and weird." “Wait,” he pulled her inside the room, escorting her in the direction of the sofa, "Let's not talk on the door, sit down.” He then walked to the kitchen, where he retrieved a large glass of water and handed it to her as he took a seat at her side. Tuk looked at him for only one excruciating instant, before setting her sad, hard, candy-gloss eyes on the glass, clenched between trembling hands, but it was enough to chill him like a gunshot with a silencer. You don't hear the shot and by the time you realize it, it's too late, the bullet has already pierced your flesh and reached your heart.
“What happened?”  She hesitated before spitting between her teeth, “Mawoë.”  Lo'ak sighed, “What did he do this time?” “He said I'm weird,” she repeated bitterly, “That my kuru (neural queue) is repulsive.”
Big brother rested his elbows on his knees, gathering his head between his palms, raven braids covered his ice-cold irises. He took his time before replying; he didn't want to come across as too brusque or insensitive, not when his beloved little sister was shattered in front of him. It wasn’t so often that Tuk, like Neteyam, was targeted for her hybrid origins. Unlike him and Kiri, they did not have such obvious human traits. Although the avatars were produced to be virtually identical to the Na'vi, they had distinctive features inherited from the human genome. The most obvious were eyebrows, a firmer musculature, smaller eyes, a more pronounced nasal septum, and, of course, the infamous five digits on each hand and foot. Lo'ak owned most of these. But there was another, much more difficult to detect that was common to all four Sully siblings and that brought out into the open even those two for whom Eywa seemed to have had a keen eye.
The position of the queue.
The queue of an avatar starts at the base of the skull, whereas a Na'vi queue starts at the top of it. Although noticing it was not immediate, its conformation necessarily involved readjusting traditional hairstyles, which on them did not open up where they normally would. In a way, he was impressed that a child noticed, but the act of bullying was inexcusable. Not that he was surprised. The Metkayina had proved to be intolerant and closed-minded from the start, and this kid was the younger brother of one of Ao'nung's friends, one of those who had dragged him at the Three Brothers.
“We were playing when he picked up my tswin (queue, braid) and said it sucked. Everyone else started laughing at me, saying it was the aliens' tswin.” Her big yellow eyes filled with salty drips again, breaking her voice as her grip tightened on her glass. Lo'ak clenched his fists in anger and clenched his jaw. The urge to swoop out of the lab and smash someone's face becoming more impelling with every second. It was the reaction he would have for anyone, but to make Tuk Tuk cry like that was truly unforgivable. Evidently the famous Forest Boys vs. Fish Lips fistfight had not been enough; they needed a reminder.
He laid a hand on her shoulder, conciliating, and drew her close to him, letting Tuk rest his head in the crook of his neck, where she released a deep sigh, broken by the now exhausted weeping. “Everything will work out, I'll take care of it.”  A final sob gave way to a weak laugh. The little girl guessed perfectly what her brother meant, but she simply nodded, snuggling closer to him, barely rubbing her index finger and thumb on the pendant he wore around his neck, “Will you let me play?”  He puffed out a smile: his sister was back. “All right, but you should get Mom to clean you up. You're dirty with sand.” All perky the little girl rushed to the door, “Get ready to lose!”
He dropped sitting on the bed in the adjoining room, huffing in distress as he untied the band he wore on his left arm, which slid down to the floor as if it had a will of its own. He huffed a second time, stooping to the floor to pick it up, but his noisy breathing turned into a tremor the instant two tapering hands clutched at his chest, eagerly smoothing his entire torso from his pecs to the edge of his loincloth. The confusion and surprise vanished from his face at the exact moment when one of the hands seeped into the fabric, in a clear attempt to reach the manly part scarcely concealed by it.
“Tuk could be back any minute,” he chided in a gasp, blocking the hand with his palm, a gesture that only worsened the effect the girl was already having on him. The bulge between his legs was a glaring demonstration. His breathing became heavier as her delicate hands returned to caress his chest, while her lips lapped softly at the sensitive epidermis of his earlobe, where she whispered persuasively, “So? You've been playing for hours, completely ignoring me.”
From what pulpit, he would have liked to retort, but instead he replied, “You jumped on me as soon as I got here. Isn't that enough for you?” “I can never get enough of your cock,” she emphasized, wrapping his hard member with an eagerness that caused him to gasp and shudder down his spine. Only her touch could make him react like that.
You can do without me, though, can't you?
As much as Lula'ni's attentions were appreciated, if not coveted at this juncture, Lo'ak could not let go as usual. Not after Tuk's words; the pain that twisted her cute little face, and the feeling of helplessness still so vivid. They take hold of your being as if it were your own blood that drags them along the pathways that nourish the whole organism; oxygen that preserves and destroys life. For Mawoë was not only brother to that idiot who followed Ao'nung everywhere like a licker, he was also brother to the girl who was now pumping him at a slow and deadly pace, waiting for him to succumb to his own weaknesses.
Ironic, isn't it?
But after all, that was why their little game had begun. Lo'ak had seduced and deflowered her out of spite, to take some sort of revenge — he had failed with Tsireya, so why not try his luck with the sister of asshole No. 2? Lula’ni on the other hand... He couldn’t tell why she had been playing along; it was rather obvious that she was not naive enough not to see his real intentions masquerading as flirtation. It was probably because of his appearance, so unusual for a Na'vi, his outcast, alien aura. Out of curiosity and transgression. Enough to let that game go on until now and evolve into an odd friendship.
The young woman instantly sensed the disturbance and, understanding and sweet, she interrupted her warm advances, cupping his face between her fingers and forcing him to look at her. "Lo'ak, what's wrong?" His golden orbs were lost in the vast, calm waters that were her irises, but he found no peace in them, only lies and the terrible, vivid knowledge that he had wasted his time with her. How could such welcoming eyes, kissed by the kindness of a river, belong to such a cruel woman?
Beautiful on the outside, rotten on the inside.
Over the months she had only become better at making a pretty face. At least she used to show herself for what she really was and that was one of the reasons why, no matter how infuriating it was, she had always attracted him. Lula'ni felt no fear or remorse at being herself. She mocked him, at the time, for that very appearance that had driven her into his arms and impaled her on his cock. It was precisely her doggedness that made him question the motivation behind her inexplicable interest in tormenting him. To call it 'torment' was a bit much, but she loved to poke him, as if to nick him, to make him feel as small as an insect to be squashed. But Lo'ak was no insignificant bug. He was a wasp ready to sting. In fact, he never wasted any time in penetrating her soft, well-groomed skin, make it purple with its venomous forked tongue.
Oh, how it infuriated her at first; it was a sight! Fury that gradually faded into respect, into a continuous provocation aimed at teasing a reaction that had now become her drug. She liked the way he stood up to her, liked the painful stabs to her self-esteem. It brought them closer and closer. So much so that one day, hidden behind a palm tree, the sting found its way into the girl's battered heart, thanks to a sudden wet and messy kiss that later turned into a stolen virginity on the beach on a festival night. Lula'ni could make up all the lies she wanted, but he knew he was the first to take possession of that amazing body. He wasn't sure if he was the only one to have had her after that, but he was certainly the only one to have loved her in spite of himself. That was why she always came back to him.
“Don't you feel like it?” she asked offended. Lo'ak rolled his eyes. As usual, her insecurities, steeped in selfishness and narcissism, took over. She paid no attention to the little girl he had mentioned earlier. He was tempted to kick her out of his bed, out of the lab and finally out of his life, because he had reached the end of his tether. He could no longer tolerate the egocentricity of the beautiful girl in front of him. Being a secret was no longer enough for him. It was time to make a choice: come out or go their separate ways. Too many opportunities to be happy with someone else he had given up for her, it was time for her to get the two in spades.
But not tonight.
Tonight the hangdog expression seeking reassurance and those curves, hidden by the sheets, still had the effect of clouding his brain, of making his blood drain all over to fill his substantial shaft like a sponge. And why not? Make her pay for how Mawoë had mistreated Tuk. An eye for an eye.
A violent spark ignites the automatic motor that animates his primal urges. He lifted her easily by her ass and pushed her onto the bed, who giggled in satisfaction as she positioned herself between his thighs, already ready to receive him. She loved being taken like this, almost violently; it was a poignant sensation of submission that drove her mad, made her feel irresistible. As if she was able to activate those animal instincts that so many people try to put to sleep. And partly that was so, but not entirely; in this instant it was the desire to return to her at least an ounce of the suffering she had given him that moved him. All this time she had been using him; it was time to return the favor. He wasn't going to love her tonight, no, he was just going to fuck her, and then have her spit out the truth and thrown Lula’ni away if necessary.
Lo'ak hastily shrugged off the tewng with one hand as he unceremoniously sucked a couple of phalangi and stepped past the sheets, not at all surprised to find no barrier garment between his fingers and her intimacy. “I'm already wet,” she whispered sensuously in his ear as she clung to his shoulders with her hands. He said nothing to this sentence, didn't even nod, just pushed himself all the way in, not caring about her moan of pain and the nails that dug into his flesh. She liked it that way, brutal. Beneficial at the moment, it allowed him to pour all his resentment directly into her. He plugged her mouth with his palm to quiet her obscene and embarrassing cries, “They'll hear you,” he scolded breathlessly. “Who cares,” she huffed between uncontrolled yowls. He clenched his fists, imprisoning part of the mattress cover, coming almost completely out of her and then penetrating her with even more energy than before, totally shocking her.
“What's the matter with you?” she asked overflowing with lust from both her high-pitched voice and her shiny, gem-round eyes. “You don't care,” he thrusted even harder, “You don't fucking care about anything or anyone besides yourself,” he quickened his pace, ignoring her rebukes. He wanted to finish as soon as possible; he was hating every single moment when her tight, enveloping walls suffocated his manhood.  At one point he felt a searing heat take over his entire lower abdomen, giving rapid convulsions of obvious significance; he was on the edge, endurance included. It came out of her in the midst of ejaculation, soiling the young woman here and there, who grunted in dissatisfaction. She sat down with her back resting on the backrest, bringing the bedspread down to cover her nakedness as his eyes of icy fire pierced her from side to side.
“Have you lost your mind?” she asked hostilely. “How long do we have to go on like this?” “Mind to be clearer?” she taunted him sarcastically. “I got tired of this back-and-forth, Lula. You don't want to be with me, but you won't let me live my life. When I'm finally moving on here you reappear, screwing everything up!”  “Stop yelling.” “Are you afraid someone will hear us fighting? To be heard getting fucked is neither hot nor cold to you though. In fact, you like it.” “Lo’ak.” “Leave,” he chuckled coldly. “What?” she blinked a few astonished times, squeezing herself into the sheets. “Are you deaf? Get the fuck out, I never want to see you again.” “It’s not funny.” “It’s over, Lula’ni. This...,” he pointed alternately at their chests, “...indefinite thing between us is over. I’m sick of it. Find yourself another fuck buddy.”
The Metkayina bowed her head on the blanket clutched to her chest and, in a whisper, asked, “What if I told you I didn’t want to be just bedfellows anymore?” “I wouldn’t believe it,” he spat, “To you I’ve always been just a skilled plaything between the sheets.” “N-no, that’s not—.” “Don’t add any more bullshit. I know way too well someone like me has nothing to do with someone like you. The whole clan hates me. Demon blood. Alien. That’s all they see. It would be a snub to your image, I get that. And I was okay with it at first; a friendship with benefits. After all, what else could I expect from you? Normally you wouldn’t even look at me.” “So you were with me just as a sort of payback.” I was with you 'cause I fell in love even with your malignancy, “You were with me just to comfort yourself, my feelings never mattered much to you. Don’t tell me you didn’t notice my interest in you.” “Y-yes, but—.” “But you don’t reciprocate and you took advantage of that. That’s all,” he concluded disappointedly, rising from the bed in his birthday suit. His back facing her as he looked out on the placid sea out the window, dominated by a red sunset, which gave the room that cozy warmth typical of the seaside. All around was calm and still, not a breath of wind shook the foliage of the few trees around there, as the first lights of the village were beginning to come alive. Awa’atlu for a small village on an islet was quite lively at night.
Lo’ak leaned against the window jamb with his right hand, arm outstretched to support himself, back hunched as if a cramp was bending him in two. The girl’s hand rested delicately on his deltoid, stroking it up, reaching the upper edge of his left shoulder blade, grazing its outline to his right one, and then slipping over his ribs, while her other hand smoothed his lats on the other side of his torso. Her fingers cautiously tickled his epidermis, going to place on his pectorals. Lo’ak felt himself being pulled backward, and in the process he felt her breasts adhere to his back and her lips rest on the center of his spine.
“Why are you still here?” He wanted to loosen her grip, tug her away, but he couldn’t; the dull ache he felt was too great. “Because I love you,” her mouth was so close to his skin that he shivered. “Stop fooling me.” “I’m not,” she lifted herself up on her toes and placed a kiss between his shoulders, “I love you. I’ve always loved you, but for too long I was attached to the ideal of the popular girl, to the image I had to maintain. I don’t need that anymore." He turned just enough to look over his shoulder lit by the faint blush of the dying sun; the light was so faint that it showed almost no color. “With you I'm happy, you are the only one who understands me and I want everyone to know we are made for each other.” He stared at her open-mouthed and she smiled with that sweet, sincere grimace that only with him had she allowed herself to show, moving to face him truly naked for the first time.
Lula’ni had emerged from the chrysalis, the pupa had become a butterfly.
“Can you forgive me for all the harm I have done to you, and to your family, with my stupidity? Will you start afresh with me?” The Omatikaya framed a hand at the height of their navels with a sly smile, “How do you do? I'm Lo’ak.” She laughed, with that crisp, slightly squeaky laugh that always infused him with warmth, “Lula’ni.” When their palms met, he drew her to him and then gathered her face with both hands, shaking out her silky hair, and kissed her slowly and softly, without that cupidity that used to queen their entwined tongues. Tonight, for the first time, he kissed Lula’ni as one kisses a bride, not a lover. And finally he smiled, resting his forehead on hers, as a couple of joyful tears watered his half-closed eyes, “At last you're mine.” “I’ve always been yours.”
Maybe it was from joy, maybe it was from their unclothed bodies brushing against each other, but Lo’ak felt something firm and substantial pull him toward her belly, who giggled with amusement and a hint of mischief. “Are you about to apologize for just now?” she asked, teasing his dick with a sharp fingernail from the base to the tip. Automatically his hands went to squeeze her rear, forcing her back to the center of the room, “I’m going to make you forget all the nights we were just friends.” Lula’ni arched an eyebrow, encircling his neck and caressing the hair on his nape, as she gave herself the momentum to let him take her in his arms and feel the urgency that pervaded her. “Let’s go to the bathroom,” she said defiantly.
He set her down on the shelf where the sink was embedded, stripping her of her chest cover as he greedily kissed her cleavage. The girl abandoned herself against the surface of the mirror, sighing the moment the laces of the tight loincloth unfastened with a snap, exposing her naked, hairless womanhood, moistened at his mere touch. “Come in,” she whispered in his ear, clinging to his neck; with her fingers twisted in his raven hair, she spread her thighs to make room for him. No need to have her repeat herself twice, because he penetrated her and her voice filled his hearing with guttural murmurs, cadenced by the rhythm of his lunges.
Suddenly, Lula’ni let herself slide down the shelf and his phallus capitulated inexorably out, during a stifled but overflowing ‘no’ of disapproval. With a wry grin plastered on her face, the girl turned around, leaning forward, putting her butt in plain view. The message was clear. He grabbed her by the side with one hand and with the other held his erection, which, after a couple of attempts, returned perfectly to its place. To feel so wrapped up and warm was wonderful. Lo’ak began thrusting again, and with each thrust, Lula’ni’s throat ripped with moans that were increasingly high-pitched, but also choked by the extreme proximity between vocal emissions.
This was their favorite position. And if merely having her in such a submissive pose already aroused him, the presence of the mirror, the sight of their bare bodies, their faces rouged by exertion and deformed by unbridled lust reflected back, so much went to his head that he lost what tiny shred of lucidity he preserved. Ferment that went hand in hand with the borderline absurd little games she played with her pelvic floor muscles, which widened and tightened to her liking and the cadence she wanted to give them, clamping them until they almost pushed him out and then sucked him in.  And the attempt to control his orgasm went to hell as well; it poured out with such impetus that it surprised her in a final painful plunge, which made her cry out in pleasure, coming sitting upright.
Lo’ak slumped on his back exhausted, his forearms trembling with fatigue, anchored to the edge of the granite shelf. “You looked like a crazy pali’ (direhorse),” she breathed, “Amazing!” Lula’ni’s subtle laughter broke violently into one last high moan, and the ecstasy on her expression was so sublime it went to his head. Her back collided with a sticky clatter against his chest, and her fingernails crawled over the basin in a vain attempt to hold on to something, clouded by the frenzy. But the release was still far from over; it was creaming on him as if he were an icing cake.
For a nanosecond his sister’s face flew over his mind. Kissing his now-girlfriend, he cast a very brief glance at the door, as if he could look through it, and formulated a single thought.
Hope you’re not coming right now, Tuk. Sorry.
Special thanks to @pandoraslxnafor the prompt!

PART III.
Like Tsireya said, Ao’nung did come the next morning. In his tow is his ever loyal companion, Roxto. Ao’nung gave you a look and pulled you back as you watch Tsireya lead the Sullys into the water. As you turn to look at Ao’nung, you didn’t catch the worried glance Neteyam sent your way as Tuk pulled him away.
“I heard from one of the boys that you joined Tsireya? Are the freaks that hard to teach that she asked you for help?” He asked, voice low as he stared at you.
You found yourself staring defiantly at him, something you usually would refrain to do in respect for the Olo-eyktan’s son, but you are not as patient was you were before. “Quit it, Ao’nung. Have some respect. If you didn’t ditch Tsireya and actually did what the Olo-eyktan told you to do, then we wouldn’t be here in this situation. I’m doing what you are supposed to do, skxawng.” You took your arm out of his grasp with an annoyed hiss, giving him a glare as you looked back at Neteyam’s group.
Ao’nung looked at you for a few seconds, grumbling to himself as Roxto interjected.
“They are even worse than babies! They should just go back to the forest, tree hugging freaks…”
Your blood boiled with rage. You believe deep in your heart that Roxto is not a bad person, but he kept challenging these beliefs with his terrible words, and it angers you that Ao’nung allows this to happen. With a frown, you kicked Roxto in his knees, making him almost kneeling. “Stop calling them freaks, Roxto! Don’t make me report your behavior to the Tsahik!”
Roxto wanted to retort as he grimaced and grunted with pain. He was stopped by Ao’nung’s hand. If there’s one thing that can deter these arrogant boys, it’s the Tsahik. With a prick of a sharp object, she can make them paralyzed for days.
Glancing at you for a few seconds, Ao’nung finally spoke. “Fine. Let’s see what these babies can do.”
He didn't even wait for you as he marched towards Tsireya and the Sully children. Roxto gave you a complicated glance before following after Ao’nung like he had replaced the latter’s tail.
Knowing his arrogant nature, you suddenly began doubting whether it was good to bring Ao’nung into this. You should've let him slack off like he wanted, instead of indirecting pulling him in and letting him cause trouble for the newbies.
It's probably fine, right? Tsireya's there to keep them in check.
“Ao’nung, it's nice to finally be in your presence, brother.” Neteyam greeted Ao’nung, then glanced at you in the back, your gazes intertwined for a few seconds.
“Hey,” he greeted you which you reciprocated with a soft hi.
Ao’nung sneered, not bothering to greet back Neteyam as he walked into the water. “You even managed to get her to help you out. It seems that you guys are truly hopeless little babies.”
Tsireya glared at Ao’nung, “Stop being mean and start actually doing something, tsmukan.”
You ignored the two and smiled at the remaining Sully children. Tuk smiled back as she embraced Kiri in the water. Kiri gave you a small reserved smile, but it was still progress. The first time you met her, she barely acknowledged you. Lo’ak was still the same, nodding at you with a smile before giving his brother strange looks.
Walking towards Neteyam, you tamed your wild heartbeat and gently asked. “I’m going to teach you the the final basics of breath-holding. This will be the most crucial part of learning how to stay alive for a long time underwater.”
Neteyam nodded, leaning closer to you as Kiri and Tuk swam towards where Tsireya was located. It was when you finally realized that you had made a mistake. That you approached Neteyam instead of Tuk, separating yourself and Neteyam from the group. You spotted Ao’nung giving you a look that commands you to follow him, but you ignored it.
You looked at Neteyam who looked back at you with calm eyes. If not for his tail flicking and ears perked up, you wouldn't have picked on the fact that he’s actually very eager to learn.
It made you feel less nervous. He enjoys this, and it makes you feel happy.
“F-Follow me then.”
Neteyam gave you a smile, almost teasingly, but there’s still a hint of hesitation as if he was afraid you’d be offended. “Yes, Karyu~”
As you were about to pull his hand, you heard someone yell. “Wait!” Ao’nung approached you two, looking at Neteyam. You can feel the tension picking up as Neteyam gave Ao’nung an unreadable glance. “I’ll come with you. I’ll teach this forest boy,”
“Kehe!” You shouted unconsciously, earning everyone’s attention. You saw Tsireya looking over, seemingly worried.
Ao’nung’s eyes narrowed at you. “Why? I’m the one that supposed to teach these guys, not you.”
“Oh come on, Ao’nung. You don’t even know what to teach. Just go away, help Tsireya or whatever. I can handle this.”
Ao’nung looked surprised with what you said. In fact he didn’t expect for you to refuse him and his help, making him feel flustered for some reason he cannot name.
He didn't seem convinced so you communicated with Tsireya with your fingers. Without hesitation, Tsireya walked briskly and pulled Ao’nung. “Leave her alone, tsmukan. You’ll just distract her.”
Ao’nung looked between you and Neteyam before roughly pulling away from Tsireya’s grasp. Watching him walking away, you also felt complicated. You didn’t even know why you’re so against him being present with your lessons with Neteyam.
Neteyam looked at you before looking at Ao’nung’s back, golden eyes narrowing. “That finger talk, it looks interesting.”
You were awakened from you reverie by his voice. “Yeah, it’s something that reef people must learn, you know, to communicate underwater. If you want I can teach you once we finish the swimming lessons. O-only if you want.”
Neteyam smiled at you, watching your face as it started to look different in shade. “I’d like that.”
On a rock, you sat face to face with Neteyam, trying not to look at his face. Your knees were touching his, you can even feel the temperature that radiated off him, his gentle breaths, the swish of his tail, and the twitching of his ears.
“C-Can I touch you?”
“What?!”
Neteyam’s reaction surprised you. He looked disbelieving as he looked at you with wide golden eyes. He looked genuinely shocked at your question, making you question whether you actually said something inappropriate.
Raising your palms, you tried to explain in haste. “I-I’m sorry. I just wanted to help you understand the basics, but it would require me g-guiding your stomach and chest..."
Now it was his turn to get flustered, hastily avoiding your eyes as he stuttered. “O-oh, okay. Go ahead.”
You tried hard not to let your hand shake, you don’t even know why you are so nervous. You have taught alot of children to get better in breath-holding, so teaching wasn’t new to you. But facing someone like Neteyam messes you up.
With all of your courage, you gently touched the space between his ribs and his stomach. “Take a deep breath here,”
Neteyam inhaled slowly, but he cannot reach form you want to see with his heartbeat being as wild as yours. Your hand shook, and you knew he felt it. You tried to get everything under control but your hand is not listening to you. So you just let it be, and relished at the strong heartbeat under your fingertips.
What a strong heartbeat. A heartbeat of a warrior.
You tried to stifle the smile that’s threatening to emerge in your lips. You cannot show, so you tried to act as if nothing’s wrong. “Neteyam, y-your heart’s beating so fast. Mawey…”
Neteyam stiffened under your hand, his temperature rising in embarrassment. “...I’m sorry, let me try again.”
Listening to the heartbeat and the gentle waves of the water, you gently said. “You must be calm but strong, like the coean. Inhale…”
You can feel Neteyam’s gaze travelling on your facial features, his gaze held a searing heat and you can feel your face burning up because of it. “Exhale, Neteyam.”
“The way of water has no beginning and no end, the sea is around you and in you…water connect all things, life to death, darkness to light…”
Your gaze met with Neteyam’s, intertwined, as the sound of your heartbeats drowned your voice out. In this moment, there’s no ocean, no waves, no breeze. There’s only you and Neteyam, with your heartbeats thrumming in sync.
Tumblr media
Neteyam cannot sleep. In the darkness, he silently walked out of his family’s marui to walk along the shore. It was deep into the eclipse, with only the bioluminescent corals under water as his light. No matter how hard he tried to sleep, his mind is always filled with you face, your smile, your voice, your eyes that is full of unsaid words. He cannot stop thinking about you, even when he kept trying to convince himself that there’s nothing so special about you. You’re just a regular reef na’vi, with a rather reserved and quiet personality.
So Neteyam didn’t really believe Lo’ak when that skxawng told him that he probably liked you that’s why he cannot take you out of his mind. Because if he really likes someone, isn’t Tsireya the most suitable person?
Neteyam isn’t a shallow person, but as the son of the most well-known warrior, he grew up with arrogance natural for his standing and achievements. Someone like Tsireya would be more suitable for him to like, she’s the olo-eyktan’s daughter with good-looks and kind personality. Although he didn’t really like her, he knew that it was only natural if he would fall for her.
Not you. He still doesn’t believe that he had fallen for you. It must have been short-term curiosity for an elusive and mysterious person like you. Heck, he didn’t even know anything about you aside from the fact that you are Tsireya and Ao’nung’s close companion and you study under the awa’atlu’s Tsahik.
So why?
“What why, ma’itan?”
Neteyam almost jumped into the water when Neytiri’s voice rang behind him. “Mom, what are you doing here?!”
Neytiri gave him a pointed glance before sitting beside him in the sand. “I should be the one asking that, Neteyam. What are YOU doing here? In this hour?”
Neteyam looked away and avoided his mother’s eyes. He should’ve known that she’s still awake, or at least alert enough to wake up with just simple movements. When it comes to stealth, she’s always the best in the family.
“Nothing, mom. I-I’m just thinking about the lessons.”
Neytiri hummed, looking at the calm waters and the bright bioluminescent reefs. “Thinking about the lessons, or the person giving the lessons?”
Neteyam almost choked in his own saliva. With embarrassment, he hissed. “Mom! Don’t tell me you also believe Lo’ak and Tuk’s nonsense!”
His mother chuckled as she hugged her oldest son’s shoulder. “Is it really nonsense? There still must be a reason why they said that. Your sister Kiri also told me you were having fun with her today, totally forgetting your siblings.”
Are they for real? Even you, Kiri? Neteyam grimaced. “They’re jumping into conclusions. I-I, W-we’re just friends. I don’t like her like that. I barely know her.”
The woman smiled at her son’s embarrassed appearance. “I didn’t say you like her.”
This time, Neteyam was truly silenced. He didn’t know what to say.
“When I first met your father, I wanted to kill him. There’s anger and hatred for him and his kind in my heart, but I must admit there’s something complex in there too. Something I cannot explain before. Who would’ve thought we’ll come this far? With four lovely children.”
Neteyam looked at his mother before looking down at the sand on his feet. “You and dad told us about your love story million times already.”
“But do you understand what I mean, ma’itan? What I want you to understand is that there’s no use dwelling on thoughts that Eywa clearly hasn’t given you answers for. Wait for everything to unfold, and while doing so, have fun. Experience life with Eywa’s guidance, you know Eywa has plans for you. Don’t think about it too much. Like your father once said, go with the flow.”
Neytiri loves her son, she loves all her children. Neteyam is still young, but since he was young enough to understand, expectations are already heavy on his shoulders. So although, she does not know you enough to trust you with Neteyam’s heart, she’s still happy to help her son out if it means he’ll get the fun time he, as a young boy, deserves. It’s the least thing she can do for him as his mother.
Neteyam watched his mother walked back to their marui, before sighing deeply and standing up. Perhaps this time he can finally get some rest. May Eywa guide him in this confusing times.
Tumblr media
You knew something was wrong when you didn’t see Ao’nung and his friends in their usual spot. So against your better judgement, you ran to the place you knew the Sully’s would be. You didn’t even know why you were running and feeling anxious, but when you saw Ao’nung and his friends picking on Kiri, you knew your intuition were spot on.
“Hey! Back off, fish lips!” Lo’ak shouted, making Ao’nung and his friends turn their attention to him.
Seeing who it was, Ao’nung laughed. “Oh, another four-fingered freak~”
One of Ao’nung’s friends grabbed Lo’ak tail, laughing as he pulled it hard. “Look at this baby tail!”
Despite Lo’ak pushing them away, they kept mocking him, calling his tail baby tail in sing–song voice. They ignored Kiri’s plea, so you ran and pushed one of Ao’nung’s friends. “Enough! Stop this!”
Ao’nung looked at you and sneered. “What are YOU doing here?  Move and don’t meddle with our business!”
“This is MY business! You’re being too much, Ao’nung! What you are doing is disgraceful!”
Your words seem to have an effect on Ao’nung as he became visibly angry. He walked in front of you and pointed Lo’ak and Kiri. “You really like this freaks, huh? Pissing me off and siding with these tree-hugging fr—”
A rough push from behind you forces Ao’nung to take several steps back. You didn’t have to turn around to see who it was as his voice rang above your head, low and dangerous. “You heard what she said. Leave them alone. Back. Off. Now.”
Ao’nung’s friends wanted to speak, but Ao’nung held his hand up, staring straight to Neteyam.
As you were about to move aside, Neteyam’s hand landed on you shoulder, making you immobile. “And from now on, you need to respect my siblings.”
His voice hinted his authority over Ao’nung, for he was a full-fledged warrior. You felt relief with his presence. Thankfully, no one got hurt, at least physically.
Ao’nung and his friends stared at Neteyam, while Kiri stuck her tongue out in mockery. Seeing their expression, Neteyam finally removed his hand on your shoulder, as if to urge you to walk back with him to his siblings.
You can feel Ao’nung’s stare in your back as you walked with Neteyam. Sure enough, one of his friends complained. “Brother, why is she helping this family of freaks? Isn’t she supposed to be in your side, not these fr–”
You froze, making Neteyam look at you questioningly. Lo’ak, who’s nearest to Ao’nungs group finally snapped and began walking back. It made Neteyam curse under his breath, knowing full well what’s about to go down.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam called, both worried and warning his brother to not make trouble.
“I got this bro,” Lo’ak looked at Ao’nung straight in the face. “I know this hand looks funny. Look, I’m a freak, alien,”
Ao’nung and his friends laughed, but Lo’ak continued. “But I can do something really cool. First, I ball it up real tight like this. Then—”
BAM! BAM! BAM!
“That’s called a punch, bitch!”
You gasps as Ao’nung fell on the water, looking astonished. He and his face immediately charged and tackled Lo’ak, making Neteyam join the fight. You tried holding his forearm to stop him, but you missed.
The fight become chaotic. Pulling, kicking, slapping. Just one big mess, as you heard Kiri giggle in the background. You tried pulling Ao’nung away from Neteyam, but got hit in the face in the process. Both Ao’nung and Neteyam pause, before fighting even more ferociously.
“Stop! Enough!” Tonowari’s voice boomed, stopping all the commotion in just few words.
Oh, Eywa, what a mess.
Tumblr media
Neteyam winced as his tongue made contact with his cut. Some parts of his body was aching, but like that night, he find it hard to sleep again. He suddenly missed their life in the forest, where no one would dare to pick on him and his family, where people genuinely treats them with respect, where he was still the olo-eyktan’s son.
“Neteyam,” He didn’t turn around. He knew it was you before you even called his name.
You sat down beside him, he didn’t look at you but he also didn’t move away. Neteyam waited for you to speak.
“Can I help you with your cut?”
Neteyam looked at you for a second and saw the concern in your eyes. It didn’t escape his eyes, the bruise on your cheek. His stomach flipped, feeling upset. He found it hard to refuse, so he relented. “Fine. Only if you allow me to help you back with that nasty bruise.”
You smiled. “Sure.” You felt nervous touching his face, but your concern for him won over your anxiety. With gentle touch, you spread the salve on the cut on his lips, trying not to look in his eyes in fear that you’ll lose focus. For a moment, you relished in the silence between you and Neteyam, fully immersed in each other’s company.
“You don’t have to compensate for Ao’nung, it is not your fault.” He broke the silence when you finished putting salve in his lips.
You paused before smiling at him as you looked into his eyes. You know you had to, so he’ll know you are saying the truth. “Believe it or not, I’m not doing this for that skxawng. I’m not here to compensate for his terrible personality and bad decisions, I-I…”
You paused, suddenly uncertain if you should continue. You continued anyway. “...I’m doing this for m-me. Because I c-care for you.”
Neteyam’s heart thrummed against his chest, but he tried playing it off as he chuckled nervously. “...I’m sorry, I thought…”
You waved your hands. “I’m sure you have an idea now, about you know? My identity.” You didn’t wait for him to respond as you gazed at the ocean, smiling wryly to yourself.
“I’m the only child of my warrior father and a weaver mother. They both died when awa’atlu was attacked by a group of akulas. I was an ‘eveng, so my grandfather took me. He’s an elder trusted by the Olo-eyktan, but he’s often away doing trades with the other nearby clans. He arranged me with Ao’nung in hopes of securing my future. No one asked me what I wanted, no one cared. But Neteyam…this is a shackle, not a path for the future.”
You don’t expect Neteyam to understand, but he did anyway. At first, his fingers grazed with yours, until he slowly intertwined his fingers with yours. You looked at him, too many unspoken words you cannot say, because if you do, it may ruin you and Neteyam’s life forever.
“Oel ngati kameie,” He whispered, as he gazed back at you. “As the son of Toruk Makto, everyone’s expectation of me was to surpass or at least become as mighty as my father. I love my family, and I’d do everything for them. But it gets tiring too, you know? Being expected to accomplish this and that, without a second to breathe. I’d still do it though, if it means keeping my family together.”
Your admiration for Neteyam grew even stronger. You can never be like him, who’s brave enough to do what must be done for the sake of his loved ones. “I admire you. At least you are brave enough to face it, while all I do is run.”
His grip on your hand tightened. “You can still change it, no?”
You didn’t reply, and Neteyam doesn’t seem to expect any. He just took the salve in your hands and began spreading it on your bruised cheek. “Little miss protector, always remember not to interrupt boys fighting okay?”
You giggled and it made him chuckle. When he was finished, he secured the salve in your satchel and urged you to go sleep. You were reluctant, but still nodded. You want Neteyam to have a rest.
After a few steps, you ran back and stood face to face with him, “Can we meet tomorrow here, same time? I want you to see something special to me.”
Neteyam didn’t hesitate and agreed with a smile. He brushed a stray hair and tucked it in your ears. “Sure. I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
“Oel ngati kamiei, Neteyam.” Then, you ran to your marui without looking back, feeling giddiness you have never felt before, unaware of the pair of eyes watching you and Neteyam from afar.

Hi!! i can't really find if your requests are open but i really love how you write for lo'ak and i was wondering if you could write one where Jake is screaming at him yet again but he's being a bit too harsh this time so human reader stands in front of lo'ak and tells jake off? And everyone is obviously shocked because no one confronts Jake like that when he's angry, especially if it's family matters (except for neytiri of course). And clearly reader can't do much, i mean with the height difference Jake could just shove her to the side but he is quite impressed and kinda proud of the badass girl his son got himself 👀😂🤭

Lo'ak's presence at this time of day was very strange for you. Usually the two of you used to see each other in the afternoon, when he had finished his duties. Being in a totally new clan, his duties were very different and difficult. So having him sitting behind you made you very curious. "mmm…should I ask you why you're here?" you speak, giving a glance at your mate. He was styling a piece of your hair, while humming a song. "Can't I be with you? Ah" speaks lo'ak with a teasing tone. "No…of course you can. I love that you're with me but… you're not usually with me this early in the morning. Did something happen?" you speak, and you swear you feel lo'ak tense up a little. Letting go of your hair, to now place your hands in the sand. Letting his body relax. "ahhh all good…nothing happened" lo'ak sounds a little nervous. You turn around, now sitting on your knees. You move closer to him, so you can lean over and stroke the side of his face a little. You notice a scar on his forehead.
You hadn't noticed it before, because he just came and sat behind you. "Love…what's that? Why are you hurt?" the more you talk, you can notice that he has some bruises on his arms and thighs. "Baby…don't worry it's nothing" lo'ak tries to sound disiterested. But you are already carefully touching his bruises, getting closer to his face. "Lo'ak you need to get healed…you are in bad condition" you are worried, he had two pretty deep wounds on his chest. "Tell me what happened, please" your voice sounds somewhat cut off, Lo'ak couldn't see you so worried. You were looking sadly at his bruises, trying to do something. While you were comforting him. "I…ahhh. It was another fight with ao'nung" lo'ak speaks softly. Lowering his head. "But this wasn't just a fight, this is serious" you place a hand on his chin, lifting his face. Lo'ak looks at you…his eyes were a little glassy. "We went to the arecife, they invited me. I accepted, because I thought we would have a good time…but they started teasing me and it was 6 against 1…so" lo'ak pauses, feeling you hold his face. "I did what I could…I got out of there and came looking for you" lo'ak stops talking, looking at you. He could notice your teary eyes. "Baby don't cry" lo'ak takes you by the shoulders, caressing your skin. "I hate when this happens to you…why are they like this with you?" you speak, wrapping your arms around his neck. Giving him a tight hug, you feel lo'ak hug you back. The hate and anger they had for lo'ak was not normal, both of you had been in the clan for 3 years and nothing had changed.
You look up, seeing some figures approaching you. The closer they came the more you recognized them. It was Jake, next to him was Neytiri. The way he was walking, you could tell how angry they were. You two separate and you see how lo'ak gets up from the ground nervously, approaching you. Tangling his tail around your leg. Lo'ak was a man now, but the fear of his father's accusations were killing him. Jake approaches, he had his thumbs locked. "What the hell did you do now" Jake shouts. "Dad…I can explain" lo'ak holds up his hands, trying to keep some space between them. "No…you shut up. I'm sick of you and your stupid actions" jake was literally screaming in lo'ak's face. You were standing next to him, looking up. This situation was getting on your nerves, you were at your limit. You can't take it anymore, and in one swift move. You get in between the two male figures. Pushing jake with all your strength, so that he would move away from lo'ak.
"YOU HAVE TO STOP!!!!" you shout, while jake steps back somewhat surprised. Well…he was very surprised. Neytiri had been left open-mouthed, by your actions. "THAT'S THE FIRST AND LAST TIME YOU SCREAM AND FIGHT MY PARTNER" You were red, and you looked adorable. You were so small compared to the two na'vi men standing next to you. But you looked furious…speaking with authority. "What the…" jake tries to speak, but you shout back. "HAVE YOU EVEN ASKED HIM WHAT HAPPENED? OR DON'T YOU SEE HOW HURT YOUR SON IS? AH? YOU JUST ACCUSE HIM OF EVERYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT REALLY HAPPENED…I'M SICK OF IT" you yell, turning around to grab lo'ak's hand and walk off in the opposite direction. "Y/N!!!" Neytiri yells a little, trying to get your attention. "YOU DON'T DARE TALK ABOUT LO'AK, I'M ALSO PISSED AT YOU" you yell back aneytiri, this from hiss in response. Jake holds neytiri by the shoulder, and you keep walking with lo'ak. Jake tries to control neytiri, they were two strong women. He didn't want something to happen that they would later regret. Lo'ak was in a state of shock, you had yelled at his father and mother…you had defended him. Knowing that if jake wanted to, he would have kicked you and you would have flown somewhere else. The boy just followed you, as he watched you walk around annoyed, mumbling nonsense.
As you walked away from the place, you walked for about 15 minutes. You let go of lo'ak's hand. You kicked a few times in the sand, while the boy looked at you with admiration. His strong and brave mate had defended him. His heart was pounding. Between the na'vi to defend and take care of your partner, was a gesture of pure love. You had shown lo'ak that you were capable of giving your life for him. Defending him from something bigger than you, more dangerous than you. Only for his well being. He slowly sits down on the sand, watching as you still bring out all your fury. You turn around, and are met with the most adorable scene. Lo'ak was sitting, cross-legged. His eyes were looking at you with admiration and his pupils were dilated. His tail was wagging from side to side. And his ears were back. "Lo'ak…I…I'm sorry" you lower your head. You were embarrassed, you shouldn't have talked to Jake like that.
"You are amazing…my strong Y/N" you stand there in shook, lifting your gaze to see lo'ak with a goofy smile on his face. "You're not mad at me?" you ask him, lo'ak moves forward taking your hand. Making you move closer towards him, wrapping his hands around your waist. Pulling your body closer to his chest. Giving you a kiss on your forehead, you let yourself fall forward a little, enjoying his caress. "Why would I be upset with you, if you just took care of me?" says lo'ak, you giggle a little. "Are you blushing?" you tease, touching his ears. "Hey…it's not everyday you get to watch your cute little partner take on your dad. You were amazing" lo'ak changes his voice a tone deeper, moving closer so he can press a kiss to your neck. You giggle a little, craning your neck to the side to give him more access to your neck. "Your father is going to hate me, for life. And if your mother doesn't kill me in two weeks " you speak, watching as lo'ak pulls away from you, and gives you a look. "I think she's afraid of you now" lo'ak jokes, moving closer over your body. Kissing your chest, listening to your giggles. "Or he's just going to look adorable on you" lo'ak speaks.
On the other hand, jake is still standing there in the same place, in a state of shook. "that girl is" neytiri starts talking, but she is also too shocked to speak. "She is brave" says jake. He felt a little confused. He was upset with you, but at the same time he felt respect towards you. You had stood up for your partner, you had stood up to him. Of course, he was going to talk to you seriously later. But he was proud, his son had found a strong partner, who was able to take care of him and his future family. Just like his mother.

A Drop in the Sea - Chapter 3: Contemplation
Aonung x F!OC
The Metkayina and the Ta'unui reef clans have long had a close relationship. Ever since Aonung was born, the clans have come together every two years for a fortnight-long celebration. Following the attack on the Ta'unui by Quaritch and his men, tensions have been high between the two clans. In hopes of righting past wrongs, Tonowari invites the Ta'unui back to Awa'altu for the first time in four years. With the celebration comes the reunion of friends old and new.
It has been four years since Aonung has seen Payiva, the second daughter of Ta'unui's Olo'eyktan. They have known each other all of their lives, but things are different now. Aonung is eighteen years old and learning how to be a good leader. How will Payiva react to seeing him after all this time? Will they be able to rekindle their friendship, even as his clan harbors the man responsible for the attack on her own people?
CH1, CH2
Awa’altu was larger than Payiva remembered. As a child, she loved to spend her days running around the village and its surrounding biome. There was always something new for her to discover, a new place to hide from her mother.
Now, all Payiva could do was compare Awa’altu to her own home, Seya’altu. The Ta’unui village had always been smaller, though never had it been more obvious to Payiva than it did now.
“We just built a new section of maruis for this year’s celebration,” Tsireya was telling Pxe’ali and their mother. “Everything should be prepared for you already, but do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything.”
Payiva resisted the urge to assure Tsireya that it did not matter if there was a hole in the ceiling, Ley would not be complaining about a single thing. It was not in Ley’s nature to complain to her hosts, it was much too rude for the Tsahik. Instead, she would air her grievances to her family, who had no choice but sit and listen.
The rest of the clan trailed behind them, waving and calling out to old friends as they passed. Payiva was happy to see them so joyous, the past few years had not been easy for her people. This celebration was a well-deserved reward for the Ta’unui.
Behave, Payiva’s father had whispered into her ear after they dismounted their ilu. And be nice.
Payiva was not as politely demure as her sister, or entirely concerned about decorum, much to her mother’s dismay. She had a track record of being blunt in the most inappropriate of situations and an issue of not knowing when to hold her tongue. On more than one occasion, Ley had been heard saying that the Great Mother had blessed her with two daughters and thankfully, Pxe’ali was first.
Payiva was not fit to be Tsahik, and everyone knew it.
“Aonung was actually the one who made most of the maruis you will be staying in,” Payiva heard Tsireya say.
Tsungetsa clapped the boy on the back, rattling on about the importance of an Olo’eyktan knowing craftsmanship. The scene almost made Payiva nauseous. Aonung was the son her father wished he had, and Tsungetsa was nothing if not obvious. Ley was no better. Payiva was certain she heard her mother coo something at Aonung as well.
They treated Sreng, Pxe’ali’s mate, the same way. The young male had been chosen to become the next Olo’eyktan almost ten years ago, and Ley still treated him like he was an Eywa-given gift. It bothered Payiva more than she would like to admit - the amount of adoration her parents gave to Sreng over their own child, but it allowed her more freedom to do as she wished.
Aonung’s back was to her, so Payiva took the opportunity to observe the boy while he was not staring at her like an ilu watching a fat fish.
He had grown, both in height and in muscle definition. The last time they had seen each other, Payiva was the same height as Aonung, if not taller. She now only reached his shoulders, and he was likely to grow more. Payiva could not say why, but this annoyed her.
She did not quite know what to think of him. They had been friends as children, such was the nature of being the children of clan leaders: you tended to gravitate toward one another. Aonung was never friendly by any means. Payiva actually remembered him being ornery and selfish, unused to not getting his way. But he would play games that Pxe’ali had long since grown out of, and that was all that really mattered.
He was handsome, Payiva supposed, in the way that most Metkayina warriors were: tall, strong, and proud. Aonung had long curly hair like his sister, though his braids led back to a topknot, with half of the strands falling freely. Payiva rarely wore her hair unbraided - something that bothered her mother. While she liked the typical fashion with which Ta'unui women wore their hair, wearing her own hair like that annoyed her more often than not. Payiva could not understand how Aonung or the other Metkayina hunters dealt with their long tresses outside of the reef.
Aonung glanced back over his shoulder at her, but Payiva quickly turned her gaze toward the village. The last time they had seen one another, Aonung practically overflowed with pride and arrogance. There had been times, between just the two of them, that he had been open - vulnerable even, but Payiva was not sure that she wanted to test those waters again. She most certainly did not want to add to what was likely an already overinflated ego.
Tsireya led them to their maruis, which Aonung supposedly built by himself. Payiva would have to make sure the structure was sound before she could comfortably fall asleep tonight.
Their party came to a stop. “We will let you settle in before the feast,” Tsireya said, her cheeks dimpling with a sweet smile. “Welcome back to Awa’altu.”
As the Metkayina siblings departed, Payiva did not gush over them as her parents did. She gave Tsireya a kind smile, but gave no such gesture to Aonung.
Truthfully, Payiva had no reason to ice the young man out. They had parted on good terms, but she did not know how to interact with Aonung anymore, and it was an awkwardness that Payiva did not appreciate. It felt like she was in unfamiliar territory. Being overly friendly with the next Olo’eyktan was not looked upon the same way at eighteen as it was when they were adolescents.
Payiva had already squashed a number of rumors two years ago, when she became an adult, about her friendships with the young hunters in the clan. While she recognized the fact that she would likely end up mated to one of the young men eventually, Payiva did not intend for that to occur any sooner than necessary.
Admittedly, the rumors were not helped by the fact that Payiva occasionally liked to experiment with one or two of the boys.
Either way, Payiva was still deciding if resurrecting her friendship with Aonung was worth the potential hassle. She did not have as much patience for spoiled princes as once before.
Ley would have a field day if she heard that her youngest daughter was sweet on the Olo’eyktan’s son. Having not only one, but two daughters as Tsahik would be a dream come true for Payiva’s mother. Payiva’s ability to be a spiritual leader be damned.
The last thing that she wanted was to be shackled to such a position. Payiva had seen the life of a Tsahik through the eyes of her mother and sister, and it was not for her. Payiva lacked the patience for healing and the discipline for leadership. Even skills like weaving and cooking evaded her.
Hunting, however? Payiva was born to hunt. She relished in the feeling of an early morning hunt, the cool waves beating against her skin as she cut through the water, and the silent moment right before catching her prey. Payiva did not care if she was using nets or spears, hunting was the one time she felt right.
There was no joy in killing the creatures, as Payiva once explained to Pxe’ali. It was more the thrill of being in the water and providing food for her clan. The knowledge that her people would not go hungry because of her handiwork was something that no one could take from Payiva.
By no means could a Tsahik not be a warrior - Ronal was a prime example of such. But being Tsahik would always come first, and Payiva could never do that.
“Stop being so grumpy,” Pxe’ali whispered. “We are here. Let us enjoy the celebration.”
Payiva took a deep breath in, then nodded. Being cordial and standoffish were two different things, and it would do her no good to be the latter.
She put her things down in the marui before turning to her older sister. “I just hope our sister clan makes food as well as I remember.”

Once upon a time, in the beautiful world of Pandora, there lived a young Na'vi woman named Naiya. She was the daughter of Eywa, the spiritual goddess who watched over the planet. Naiya possessed unique white hair, a trait she had inherited from her divine mother.
Naiya had found love in the arms of Tsu'tey, a brave warrior who had miraculously survived the devastating war against the RDA. They had already created a strong bond, and their love had blossomed over time. Naiya was also thrilled to learn that she was carrying Tsu'tey's child, a miracle that filled their hearts with joy.
Within their close-knit community, Naiya had formed an unbreakable bond with her toruk makto, a majestic creature known as Ao'nung. The toruk had taken a liking to Naiya, becoming fiercely loyal to her and always ensuring her safety. This bond between Naiya and Ao'nung was not a common occurrence, and the Na'vi tribe saw it as a sign of great blessing from Eywa.
But destiny had another adventure waiting for Naiya and her loved ones. News reached their village about the Metkayina clan, a group of Na'vi who resided near the expansive oceans of Pandora. Intrigued by what they had heard, Naiya, Tsu'tey, and their friends decided to embark on a journey to seek out the Metkayina clan and learn more about their ways.
With Naiya safely carried atop Ao'nung, the group set off on their breathtaking voyage. The journey itself was filled with marvel and danger, as they ventured through dense jungles, crossed rivers, and soared high amidst the floating mountains. Along the way, they encountered a multitude of fascinating creatures and encountered challenges that tested their spirits.
Finally, after days of strenuous travel, they reached the shores where the Metkayina dwelled. The water tribe greeted them warmly, their turquoise eyes filled with curiosity and excitement. Mo'at, the leader of the Metkayina, sensed the divine energy emanating from Naiya and welcomed her with open arms. She recognized Naiya's lineage and saw her potential to bring unity and balance to Pandora.
Amidst the new surroundings, young Naiya's connection with Ao'nung took on an unexpected turn. Ao'nung felt safe and at peace with the Metkayina, forging an even stronger bond with Naiya. Together, they explored the vast seas surrounding Pandora, discovering hidden wonders and nurturing coral gardens.
As Naiya delved deeper into the Metkayina's way of life, she realized that their ultimate goal was to maintain a harmonious relationship between the land and the oceans. The Metkayina sought to protect the uturu, a sacred being that embodied the balance between the elements. Naiya's presence, combined with Ao'nung's intrinsic connection to the ocean, brought them closer to unlocking the mysteries of the uturu.
Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, as Naiya and her loved ones continued to learn from the Metkayina. Naiya's belly grew round with her unborn child, and her spirit swelled with anticipation. She knew that her child would carry on the legacy of Eywa, spreading love and unity throughout Pandora.
In the end, Naiya and her companions not only discovered the secrets of the uturu but also managed to forge everlasting alliances. The Metkayina tribe and the Na'vi community united under Naiya's guidance, creating a bond that would shape the future of Pandora.
And so, Naiya, Tsu'tey, Jake, Neytiri, Ao'nung, and their newfound allies stood together, determined to protect the uturu and preserve the beauty of Pandora. Naiya's legacy would be everlasting, passed down through generations, ensuring the harmony of the Na'vi people for all time.

When Lo'ak woke it was through cold shudders and violent gasps, rousing Tsireya next to him awake.
"Yawne?" She called out to him so gently, "What is wrong?" Lo'ak couldn't hear her sweet tone but still his large hands grappled for hers, finding them within the darkness of the mauri and the night sky.
He could only think of the searing gaze of the brother he thought he lost so long ago and the grip of a knife he was actually so ready to use. The sound of the waves outside, mindlessly and rhythmically tumbling against each other, gave him some peace, so he breathed out hard, pushing beaded braids out of his face.
He could hear the water, yet why did it still feel like his blue skin was getting scorched?
"Lo." Tsireya's voice was louder and she willed his attention to her, her other hand cradled his jaw. The Sully's jewel-toned eyes flickered, anchoring their gaze on her blue ones.
"Sorry." He rumbled, voice still saturated with sleep. She shook her head and smiled softly, he could tell that her eyes were tracing all the stripes on his face, the star patterned marks of his forehead.
Lo'ak always liked her eyes, they looked like the sky.
He kissed her knuckles. "Thank you."
Tsireya nodded, her sweet smile dimpled and she pressed her lips against his brow, the hair tickling her. There they were, in their shared mauri, colorful and thick blankets adorning their bedspread and their limbs still tangled together in this safe harbor.
"What did you see?"
"..." The lump in his throat was heavy and painful. "I saw him. I saw Neteyam."
The Metkayina woman gasped softly. She couldn't believe it, she remembered too well how the eldest Sully son looked as he died. How she was there all too long with him, alone, as he bled out.
They didn't know how to feel, when they heard the news from the Tawkami alchemist, (tala full name). No one did, not when they saw the signs of struggle and blood in the Compass's photo album.
"Great Mother... How was he? Are you okay?"
"I'm okay, he's... he's a completely different person now, 'Reya. Mom was there, he barely even looked at her, kept saying shit about dad and turning him in," Lo'ak covered his face with his other hand, fingers splayed as he willed himself to stop shaking. He could feel his emotions rising, he knew his tendencies now and all had seen how intensely Lo'ak blamed himself for Neteyam's death. Impulsivity, stupidity- "He hates me."
"Don't, Lo'ak. don't do this to yourself." Tsireya squeezed his hand, darker blue and with an extra digit and so comforting as it held hers.
"It's the RDA, the vrrteps [demons], they've poisoned his mind when they brought him back, just like Tala said. You know that Neteyam would never actually blame you."
Lo'ak smiled weakly. Yes, he knew his older brother, yes, the Neteyam he knew would probably stab himself again than even 'look' at his family members the way he did in the dream. In a sick way, however, Lo'ak thought he deserved it all the same.
"Enough of that. You're doing it again." His mate cut off his spiraling again and this time he chuckled, his thumb rubbed her palm.
"How'd I get so lucky with a girl like you, 'Reya?" He joked, though sincere. It's been years and he's grown, tattooed and proved himself as both warrior and adult. And yet still he didn't know exactly how to return truly how much he loved her, when her floral and oceanic skin calmed him, and her scent drove him wild.
Tsireya smiled brighter, dimples showing cutely. "How funny, I was just thinking the same thing." She answered. It made him laugh, made him pepper kisses along her cheeks and dimples, her neck and shoulder and arms.
"Now you're just being cute." He snickered and brought her dark curls to his lips again, intending to kiss every part of her and take in her scent. She calmed him, she knew it and she rested her forehead on his.
A moment. A quiet. Every moment like this felt perfect with her.
But heat still glowed in the back of Lo'ak's mind, his brain was just too active, as evident by the way his tail swayed behind him restlessly. He kissed Tsireya’s forehead again. “I’ll be right back. I just need to clear my head.”
“Alright, just don't take too long.”
Tisreya never got tired of the way he’d smile at her, fangs showing through upturned lips.
“From you? Never.”
A few more lingering looks, Lo’ak stepped onto the pathways of the camp, Txampaytsrul [Ocean Nest]]. A new wartime settlement was established between the forest na’vi and the ocean na’vi tribes, as a way to protect their homes yet keep close to Bridgehead. It made another home away from home for warriors and healers like Lo’ak and Tsireya, those from different clans that allowed their love to grow.
The Omaticayan male stared all around him, at Eywa’eveng, his brother’s words reeling in his headspace. Their dad doomed this place, this place still teeming valiantly with life and beauty despite the RDA’s efforts?
Tiny pebbles of sand became smoothened rock and Lo’ak settled onto one that hung over calmed waters. He heard something… above him, he looked up.
“Hey bro.” He greeted upon seeing Spider, hanging upside down along the fronds of the tree above the rocks. Gracefully the smaller maneuvered himself next to his younger brother.
“What’s up? You alright?” He said, jerking blond locs away from his face. Lo’ak shrugged.
“Bad dream. What are you still doing up?”
“Haven’t slept much since I ran out of Tala's sleep mix.”
“Kiri’s not good enough?”
Spider chuckled. “Tala got some secret ingredient she’s never told anyone about. Kiri said she knows it but… she doesn’t want to use it. It’s Tala’s thing, something like that.” Lo’ak hummed in agreement. It’s been many months now since the Tawkami na’vi’s capture, and thinking about Tala inevitably made him think about…
"Dream was that bad?"  Spider asked, a brown-eyed comforting gaze settled on his younger brother and Lo’ak sighed.
“I saw… Neteyam. And mom. It didn’t go well, it felt real and really hot, like it was burning.”
Spider’s eyes went wide.
“How... how is he?” He said, a lump forming. It had messed him badly enough to know it took Neteyam’s death to be truly accepted into the Sully family in the parents’ eyes, it was an awful reminder to him.
“Not good. It's like I could feel what both he and mom were thinking, we all could, and it wasn't... It was bad."
“What was he thinking about?”
“About how you were probably the only one he was sure he wouldn’t kill. Because of… you know,” Lo’ak shrugged and smiled at Spider in chagrin, “Quaritch.”
“Oh…” Spider starved carving into the stone with his thumb, “fuck.”
The mention of Colonel Quaritch still hung like a dead animal in the air between them, the body gone but the stench remained. Both men understood the emotions and rationalizing behind the choice, but Lo’ak could never forget it and Spider couldn’t ever quite forgive himself, even if some days he was sure there wasn’t anything to forgive. The smaller Sully sucked in breath through his teeth.
“Bro, I–”
“Brooo!” The younger groaned, “you already said sorry like a hundred times you skxawng. It’s not like it was ever going to bring him back. It’s been years.”
Relief soared through Spider’s heart instantly and he smiled.
“Right, right, yea.”
Lo’ak leaned back, both men more relaxed and sporting warrior garb and tattoos. They were brothers, they’ve already made their peace.
“Whatever Great Mother is planning, I hope she does it soon.” Lo’ak sighed, bringing a hand to his face.
“I wanna save him. What dad’s gonna say at the family meeting tomorrow though, I don't know.” Lo’ak huffed.
“We will. But yea, the family meeting...” Spider’s words were clipped, a family meeting was often a stressful affair, Neytiri could not help but look displeased with him there or for any other more intimate function within The People. Lo’ak noticed and clapped a large hand on Spider’s back. Their fingers matched in number and scars.
“That includes you, dude. Mom’ll lay off you, I promise, she’s been… okay.”
The smaller Sully scoffed but nodded. “By okay you mean no longer cursing under her breath whenever I’m near, then sure. She’s better.” Spider shook his head, admonishing himself slightly for his bitterness, “But if she had that dream too, I don't wanna upset her more. You know I would.”
Lo’ak snorted and tapped on the glass at Spider’s forehead. He was lucky he couldn’t give him a noogie for the dumb shit he just said.
“Spider. Bro. You’re a true Sully, look at how much the RDA wants to kill you! And Neteyam, even though he’s not allowed to!” the corners of his mouth raised, a laugh ready to bellow.
"Yeah, I guess that's what it takes to be a Sully, huh?" Spider joked and the two of them laughed, some stress finally leaving their young features. As the giggles quieted down and they returned to staring at the night sky.
"Maybe this will end the war." Spider broke the silence and Lo'ak hummed, agreeing. The end of the war, the  two of them hoped. The return of peace, and maybe selfishly that included the return of their brother and their family.
"You think we'll all survive it?"
At this the smaller smiled. "If even Neteyam's alive now, I don't think it's bad to hope for it,"
"We'll fight for happy times to return, and they will, you'll see."
---------------------------
Neteyam was not happy. Neteyam knew he had fucked himself over when his eyes cracked open and eh saw the long length of Tala's back, which he stared at in frustration.
He could feel his veins bursting. Fuck. Fuck. This was exactly why he avoided her, the curves of her body made him recall all too vividly the way he completely let go in front of her. How he praised and begged for her–to feel that much more of her skin on his. He tried to block it out, but the feeling of her bite, her first mark on him, triggered so many feelings of possessiveness and desire in his head and his heart–wasn’t she supposed to be helping with his headaches?
His fingers grazed over the bandages she had applied the day before, still pristine and his overall condition did technically improve. But his digits twitched, Tala’s stupid little mark was right above the injury, on the curve of his neck.
It was barely noticeable, the bruise would purple up and disappear within the day. The soldier didn’t pay too much attention to how his tail thumped softly underneath the covers.
He had a full view of her striped back, they must have disconnected sometime in the night. With his hand, which Neteyam thought assuredly he was going to use to push Tala off, he surprised himself by tracing the line down her spine. His hand hovered over the fullness of her hips, pushing down the covers to reveal more of her, and his thumbs rested on the indents of her back dimples.
Tala… Tala… Li’Tala.
Remnants of their night together reached up and stained her ass, they had made such a big mess. He tried so fucking hard not to look at those swollen pussy ips peaking between her ass cheeks because they’d only be grossly caked in old cum–
Why was he hard. Why did that make him hard.
He internally groaned and quickly covered her body back up. The only silver lining Neteyam could figure in this situation was that Tala was working marvelously as a distraction of the usual mental battles he was forced to participate in every day of existence. She was just… too effective.
And that agitated him.
With a natural poise, the soldier kneeled up and grabbed at the starched lab coat without disturbing even a wrinkle of the blanket on her body. Quickly he searched through the inner pockets, carefully rolling the tiniest crumbs of herbs and plant matter. Not necessarily satisfying his need to prove her guilt.
The first outer pocket held only hard crumbs of honey he already knew of. It made his mouth water, he truly like he was a child again when she pushed the small piece of it into his mouth.
Her smile was nearly as sweet.
“Hmmmm…” Tala stirred, as if on cue, and Neteyam immediately hid the coat behind him, buried underneath his body as he resettled onto the mattress. Something in him saw this moment as peace and didn’t want to disturb it, not even with his suspicion active.
Just… not yet.
Tala sighed and turned and rubbed sleep out of her eyes. She yawned as she swore she saw a flash of dazzling yellow and heard quick movements of fabric but when her eyes focused on his form, he was breathing peacefully and sleepily.
Great Mother… She looked at the mark she gave him on his neck, her wrists and right ear feeling heavy. What had she done? What was she thinking? She turned to face him fully.
Tala was surprised to find herself still in his bed, all things considered. This was the first time she’s woken in warmth, in comfort even, she wondered how bad was his fever that he let this happen. Regardless, all the softness of the sheets or his heat didn’t stop a tightness developing in her chest, a pressure. She didn’t truly want her place to be a thing warming his bed.
Neteyam’s nose twitched and immediately Tala had to suppress a chuckle. Oh, how long had he been awake? Somehow he’d teeter on the line of just enough being adorable that it made tiny moments like this worth it, the fun she could poke at through his militaristic exterior. It was wishful, she knew, it was just pretend.
Tala planted her cold feet quickly onto his thighs and Neteyam snapped back.
“You skxawng!” He hissed childishly, the facade abandoned and she laughed.
“It’s what you get for trying to fool me, hona tsamsiyu [adorable warrior].” Tala replied teasingly, eyes too much mirthful. Whatever scathing dither he was about to spit out was unfairly interrupted when she suddenly sat closer, supporting herself on her side as she hovered her face above his.
“Good morning.” She purred musically.
Tumblr media
Neteyam swallowed, her curtain of hair covered him slightly and it reiginited him, he breathed in her scent. Heady healing roses and charred honey now.
He pursed his lips, “...Morning.” The taste of honey sprung forth and the fact that she was not too unlike it. Her taste.
“Did you sleep well?”
“Yes.”
His reply made the corners of her smile rise. “See what happens when you let a proper healer take care of you?” Her voice dipped low and nearly saccharine, her tail swayed behind her in self-satisfaction. The male na’vi’s nose twitched again, irritated, and he rolled his eyes. Impossible.
“Don’t get cocky.”
“Around you? Never.” Her words held an unspoken insult but her smile made it teasing and humorous, Great Mother he hated when she smiled like that.
Tala examined his injury, checking and complimenting herself on her work, and used the back of her hand to check his fever. Still warm, but not nearly as bad as before.
Meanwhile Neteyam was struggling, her leaf green eyes were so inviting and kind that he thought he was going to melt. Did she know how tenderly she was looking at him? Did she know the way her eyelashes framed them made him only want to stare longer?
He grabbed her by her shackle and those infernal green eyes only widened.
How many times did his heart find necessary to trick him into liking this woman?
“Is something wrong, Corporal?” Her using such a name made him grimace and jerk back, letting go of her wrist.
“You’re playing a dangerous game, Tawkami.” He replied, a sneer felt so much more natural to him now than soft words.
“What game?” Tala whispered. She closed her eyes and leaned forward, his eyelids too naturally closed. Except, to the utter demise of his ego, she only hovered in front of his lips.
Oh, she did deserve some fun, didn’t she?
“Would you like to kiss me?”
Damnit.
"Seems like you want me to." He murmured.
"Only if it's like last night."
"And how was it last night?"
'Like you cared for me.' Tala sighed pettily, "Fine, nevermi-"
Neteyam obliged so easily, the warm contact of her lips made him sigh, both of their bodies relaxed. He reached to bring her closer, curling his arm around her torso as Tala settled her hand on his cheek, their legs tangled together once more. Heat surged between their bodies, Neteyam almost dug his fingers into her flesh but Tala pulled back.
“No. Soft.” She whispered then pushed back into the kiss without letting him reply. He got the memo through, his hand splayed on her hips and near-affectionately massaged her softness.
Their kiss was slow, gentle, plush lips squeezed against each other. It was an entirely romantic kiss and both wholly melted into it.
Tala was as much lulled into Neteyam’s warmth as he was in hers and notes of regret and self-contempt seeped in. She knew it was wrong, her eyes peaked open when Neteyam gently held her jaw. Large and scarred hands that weren’t trapped in cuffs and surely had killed their own.
Tala was foolish, she always accepted that fact.
“Why did you call me Li’Tala last night, Neteyam?” She whispered softly into the kiss but all Neteyam heard were words that damned him.
He broke off the kiss and swallowed.
“Is there a reason I shouldn’t?” He challenged.
It made her scoff, "If you were to be my mate, why aren't you crying tears of gratitude right now?"
She remembered that? Of course she did, he did too. He chuckled dryly.
"I can call you whatever I want, you are my toy."
"You said you wanted to pretend."
He froze.
Tala closed her eyes and sighed. Of course, he wouldn’t give her an answer, it was probably too much for him to admit to wanting to feel loved, no matter how fake it was, no matter who it was with.
She pushed him and turned away and it flummoxed Neteyam. He was stunned by the quickness of cold surging through his body without her in his arms and his hands chased for her waist to hold her closely. It was as if he was the one being discarded and Tala wondered if he’d ever realize the depths of his immaturity, his neediness.
What was he doing? Neteyam couldn’t find it within himself to let go of her.
“Would you rather I call you syulang? Is that it?” He murmured meanly, a smirk on his lips, trying to distract.
“You’ve got many nicknames for me, don’t you, Corporal?” She replied with her own smirk. His dropped.
“Stop picking a fight with me, filtsyíp [little toy].” His voice had an experienced razor-sharp edge but it was tinged in pleading. Tala bristled at it all the same. She poked his nose, mockingly affectionate.
"You are needy."
Neteyam’s ears raised in complete offense, his brows went up so high, Tala couldn’t count the wrinkles on his forehead. "Needy??" He scoffed, not him! No, what the fuck?
"You are needy and stubborn and you find me irresistible, just admit it, you."
Her smile was irritating him now.
"You're crazy."
She giggled, "And you," She poked at his cock that was awake and at attention, he didn't notice before, "are hard for me."
Neteyam cursed in his head.
“That’s not for you.”
“Ahuh.”
She was supposed to be helping with his headaches, not being one.
He reversed their positions with ease, hand spread against her throat. He pushed her down by her neck and growled.
“Filtsyíp, you forget yourself.”
Her hands went up to cradle his face and it felt more like he was being ensnared. Her legs locked around his waist, bringing their hips together and Neteyam had to bite back a moan at his cock head perfectly pressing against her folds.
"Am I? Are you sure about that?~" Her singsong voice forced a shudder through his body.
Yomioang [chalice plant]. She was fucking dangerous.
Neteyam gathered his arms around her and just when Tala was thinking how predictable a man he was, he stood up, holding her, and walked towards his connected bathroom.
"Neteyam! What are you-!" He ignored her squawks and wiggling. This bathroom had a shower head affixed to the ceiling and Tala's eyes went wide. She screeched.
"Don't you dare!"
He dared. Neteyam turned the water on and it soaked them both, her tail pointed up violently, the water was so cold!
“Neteyam! What is wrong with you?! Let me go!”
He didn’t let her go, he let the freezing water ground him. He'd almost let her do whatever she wanted with him.
"Oh, poor Tala. Can't handle a little cold water?" He taunted, standing straight proudly as he cupped her ass to support her weight better. He held her up around her back, with his stupid strong arms. She closed in on his face with a petulant hiss, nails digging into his shoulders.
"Happy with yourself, soldier?"
He looked at her, watched the way the water streamed from her face, her hair, onto the valleys of her breasts and her tummy, creating a perfectly little triangle down her pelvis. He smiled, showing his fangs.
"Yes, thank you filtsyíp."
OH, he said it was such a smirk, she wanted to slap it off entirely. Great Mother, she wanted him to drop dead. Tala steamed for a good few seconds, the water slowly turning warm, and she watched dirtied water flock and swirl over the drain. Her tail was swinging back and forth, enraged.
"Seems like you needed to cool down, and took me with you because you're a..." Tala's reply devolved into grumbling curses and Neteyam laughed.
Soon the soldier turned off the water and sat her back down on his bed, now shivering. He contemplated giving back her lab coat, but it's not like the material would do much to dry her off.
He threw her an extra towel carelessly.
"Finally. You trying to get me sick now too?" Tala scathed. She continued to glower at him as she worked to dry herself off, looking away from him as she patted at her dark hair.
Neteyam rolled his eyes and walked close to her, kneeling towards her as she sat at the edge of his bed. The corners of his mouth were raised but Tala could hardly call it a smile, not with it brimming with arrogance like that.
"Want another shower, filtsyíp?"
She tightly frowned.
"Then keep that mouth shut."
--
Like a wet cat, Neteyam unceremoniously handed Tala off to Private Patty a few 10 minutes later.
"Corpor-aluhhhhh." Patty's composure was compromised, seeing two very wet na'vi as she stood in front of Neteyam's quarters. Her yellow eyes darted between the two, each face had irritation practically glowing from their features.
"Just take her back to Lab 12 now." He said tiredly and handed Tala off to the guard.
"Sir, yes sir."
The door closed and Tala sneered at him the second before it completely shut. She stood up straighter, a towel still covering her and she looked up at Patty.
"Do you even want to know?"
"No. Let's get going, troublemaker."
Tala sighed, her ears flat against her head in irritation. She followed Patty, casting one last glance at Neteyam's door. This was another lesson, it seemed, that she really should stop being so willful and think ahead for a second.
Because no amount of humiliation and guilt was worth the treatment of being HIS little toy. She prayed for his sake that he would not get hurt again, because surely, she would NOT be helping this time.
--
Neteyam fell back into his bed, slowly dressing back into his usual uniform now that that yomioang was out of his space. He wanted to welcome the usual drumming in his head, the usual migraine but Tala's scent was unfortunately everywhere still.
He wanted to punch something, so he figured getting up and getting some sparing done would do him immense good.
As Neteyam put on his headband he realized that the main source of her scent was still on his bed, her lab coat. He had forgotten to return it to her, having had too much fun mocking her towards the end.
With only little expectation now, Neteyam dug into the last pocket. Might as well, it was more about the principle than actually finding anything-
He felt the prick before he could see it and there it was… a thin and crude titanium needle, tiny and unnoticeable at the bottom of Tala’s pocket. The tips of Neteyam’s fingers held the needle in place as he excruciatingly slowly pulled it out, letting it glint even from the low light of his room.
Ah.
He should have known.
--
Patty turned first, hearing loud footsteps behind them as Tala walked ahead of her, wrists clasped together once more.
"Corporal Tom?"
Fingers poised as claws and it latched onto Tala's neck, her scream died as the hand began to squeeze at her windpipe. Her own hands flew to it, digging her nails into the skin but nothing deterred him.
“Change of plans, Private. I'll take her back myself." Neteyam husked and Patty knew immediately how pissed he was.
"Wha-what's wrong, sir?"
"None of your concern, Private. This won't take long." He roughly turned Tala to face him. His eyes looked like suns burning into her but he was emotionless. She was just so good at pretending, wasn’t she?
“You never did answer my questions, filtsyíp. It’s fair for me to get them now.” He discretely slid out the end of the needle from underneath his watch and Tala balked. Oh, shit.
"I-I can-"
Her words were interrupted when a larger group of prisoners shuffled across his path, a pair of guards to every few shackled na’vi. Their blue skin was drenched, still shaking and freezing from the pouring rain outside. They created large puddles as they walked on the otherwise immaculate Bridgehead flooring. There Anke’ti was, amongst the miserable group, having just returned from the dark and cloudy outside from digging useless trenches around Bridgehead. His body may have been numb to the bone but he could smell his best friend and his head snapped toward her
Green met green, Anke'ti's eyes widened at the scene he stumbled upon. That resurrected soldier, the Sully, hand squeezed around Tala's throat.
"Tala...!" He gasped, breaking the formation of the prisoners. It caused confused and agitated mumblings, hisses, from the other na'vi and the guards yelled at them to keep in line!
"Yayo!" Tala reached out for him, making Neteyam's sneer only worsen. Him again.
Against a well-rested soldier with minor injury, a starved and exhausted captive was definitely no match. Neteyam elected to sidestep Anke’ti and use the force of his leg to kick him back to the floor, next to the other prisoners. Tala screeched, a panicked voice bubbled from her constricted throat.
"Don't hurt him!"
“Don’t do this.” The soldier warned Anke'ti, ignoring Tala. He noticed another soldier about to strike at the group with a powered up baton and he opened his mouth to order them to stop when another voice bellowed out instead.
“You wanna blow out the entire facility? Turn that shit off, boy!” Quaritch’s growl and thunderous footsteps hushed the aggravated soldiers and warriors. Soldiers stood straighter, their batons turned off but at the ready as the prisoners huddled closer together, snarled and ready to strike back.
“The fuck’s going on, Tommy?” The older man barked, eyeing the entire group. An apprehensive prisoner, a strong grip around a smaller female, her smell strong on his Corporal. Oh, just great.
"I can handle this." Neteyam gruffed out. Quaritch snorted, golden eyes landing on Tala and instantly it made her cower, lowering her eyes back to Anke'ti.
"Anke, stop." She whispered hurriedly, eyes gazing at the rest of the prisoners. These were not warriors, perhaps she and Anke'ti may have been the only ones in that hallway, and that meant whatever her friend did, they would follow.
Anke'ti glanced at her, conflicted.
Neteyam noticed and with a silent huff, he let go of Tala's neck. He took a small step away, closer to the Tawkami male now, fingers lazily draped in the air.
See? Now get back in line.
Anke'ti's ears folded flat against his head, but after his friend nodded at him reassuringly, he straightened his posture. He no longer radiated aggression, and shuffled back to the group.
The other na’vi took notice, they too calmed their stances.
Quaritch sighed and jerked his head at the nearest dreamwaker. “What’re you waiting for? Take them away.”
Neteyam kept his eyes on the Tawkami long after the rest of them shambled away, though again the Colonel casted his stare on him.
He scoffed at his appearance and the little love bite, “Careful, revenge is a good motivator for a prisoner like that. A bit of stress relief ain’t supposed to get you killed.” When he called her stress relief Tala's ears pointed down, embarrassed and fearful. Was he going to tell him now about what she's done, especially about Halloway?
“We live stressful lives, Colonel. Everything we do can get us killed.” The soldier cooly replied. It made the old man's expression pinch.
“Jesus Christ, if that aint the truth… Regardless, glad to see you’re up and about, finally. That looks like that smarts.”
He glanced down, the blood through the bandage was no longer bright red.
“I’ve handled worse. If you'll excuse me, Colonel.” Neteyam glanced at Tala, who resolved to watch Anke'ti's back disappear into the distance. She was so worried now, he looked thinner still.
"Keep it short. Mission briefing’s at 0-900 hours." Quaritch started to walk away, leering at them both. "Private Eastin, follow me."
"M-me?" Patty owlishly blinked but nodded. "Sir, yes sir!" She scrambled to follow the older Recom soldier, she looked back only once at Tala and Neteyam. When they finally disappeared down the winding halls of Bridgehead, Neteyam's grip returned, now on her braid.
"Now, where were we?"
Tala hissed from the pain, forced to quickly follow the soldier's lead into an emptied and dark lab. He roughly pushed her against the wall as soon as the doors locked shut, seething. Neteyam's eyes looked like they were boiling through hers.
"Did you hope your yayo would save you now?"
The air was knocked out of her chest, his arm pushed against her harder onto the wall. The room was dark, darker than his room, and Tala felt suffocated further by the way his eyes glowed gold in the shadows.
"I-I don't know-"
Neteyam again pulled out the needle and she huffed. "That's literally nothing, Neteyam."
"It's what you used on Halloway, isn;t it? You wouldn't be dumb enough to have only one, would you?" He pulled her kuru back, making her whimper as it forced her to look up at him more.
“There’s a symbol being spread around the facility here. Was it you?”
Tala’s breath hitched, even if she hadn’t seen him for three weeks, he was still around Bridgehead. He must’ve been informed. Her brows pinched together.
"What are you even talking about?" She struggled to choke out, fingers gripping the metal wall. She tried to find any purchase, any bit of relief.
The towel fell from her shoulders and onto the floor. Without it, the na'vi was completely bare so she moved her legs closer together, only for Neteyam to kick them apart once more. He dug his knee between her thighs and she hissed at the friction, her skin against his rough camo-pants.
"You're just a little whore, aren't you, Tala? What, changed your mind? Decided you only wanted my cock?" Neteyam taunted, riding his knee further up so it directly and roughly rubbed against her cunt. Tala breathed deeply and quickly.
"J-just get to the point, Neteyam. Are you really this angry over a tiny piece of metal?" She laughed meanly, because she knew too well how to. "Or was the cold shower actually not very helpful?"
He growled above her and with both hands he forcefully dug into her hips, grinding her down against his clothed thigh. Tala mewled, shuddering violently.
Slick was already coating the waterproof material and the Omaticayan buried his face into her wet hair. He growled his amusement against her ear.
"Look at you... answer me and I can help you, little toy. It looks like you need it."
Tala squeezed her eyes shut, her fangs prodding into her bottom lip. Her handiwork, the mark she’d given him and her treatment on his chest, mocked her so vividly. She did forget herself.
"I-mmm!-I didn't..." She whined, balling her fists up against Neteyam's chest. He was fully clothed, now sporting a black tank top that let her lean against his bare neck. His scent, she hated that she was becoming addicted to the tree musk and sunlillies on his skin.
"I-there are metal scraps in-in the lab. I don't have any more." She explained, though she found it hard to focus as he continued rhythmically sliding her up and down his thigh. He was her only source of warmth now and she quivered as she chased it.
He sighed, suddenly stopping. Tala squeaked, supporting herself on her tippy toes as she gawked up at his smug expression.
"Were you planning on using it on me, little toy?" He asked, noticing though that she was struggling not to move at all. The material of his pants were driving Tala crazy, stiff wrinkles kept pressed against her sensitive vulva.
But the question knocked some sense back into her and she glared at him.
"Why would I do that after I just finished treating you? I didn't plan for you to get shot and then somehow I be available to heal you, if that's how far you're thinking."
Grumbling, Tala tried to step out of the muscled thigh. Her scent was heavy, it felt like it was almost suffocating him and Neteyam roughly held onto her ass cheeks now, commanding attention again. Her leaf-green eyes were dark, it made him think of lightning in the jungle.
"Who knows, maybe you've already flirted with some other guards while I was gone. Maybe you got yourself your own little group of rebels willing to fight for your escape. Your yayo was about to."
Tala's ears strained, his comment baffled her.
“How badly did the vrrteps mix up your mind, hm? One moment begging for me, the next stranglin–”
She couldn't finish the sentence when suddenly Neteyam forced them both into a large storage locker, he locked the cabinet from the inside and covered Tala's mouth. She was about to struggle when she heard a familiar click and whirr of the doors opening.
"So how much do we need?"
"Only like 30 kilograms, it should be somewhere around here." Tawtute voices rang through and Tala tensed.
Neteyam kneeled behind her and very slowly and silently, he led Tala's body to also kneel, able to disperse her weight on top of him--
She jumped away when she suddenly felt the delicious lick of pleasure of her hard cock against her shiny pussy lips. She whined but that only caused Neteyam's hand to clamp around her face harder.
"You hear something?"
"Huh? No?"
Tala dug her nails into her palms as they sweated against the inner metal walls of the storage locker. She tried to resist when Neteyam's other hand started forcing her down, squeezed against her clavicle and neck.
Her thighs trembled when once again the tip of his cock slid against her wet cunt, she couldn't even turn to see his expression. All she knew was that he was horny and insane and angry at her.
Slowly and carefully, the soldier moved his hand away from her face and she breathed as deeply and quietly as she could. His tail came in front to wrap around her waist, coxing her  hips to lower more.
She shook her head, knowing he would be able to see her.
"You stay quiet and I'll forget the whole thing, hm? Besides," Neteyam mocked, whispering into her hair now as he embraced her from behind fully, "You like riding me, don't you?"
Tala cursed more expletives than she realized she knew in her head. Neteyam knew what he was doing was overwhelmingly unnecessary right then, that really he should have reported the entire affair and dust away any bitter feelings.
And yet, it crushed his ego to realize she was right. The cold shower did little and now her tight cunt was mere centimeters away from his weeping cock. He wanted to fuck her and fuck away all these strange feelings of betrayal, indecisiveness. All those feelings that swirled whenever he was around her.
Tala bit her lip as finally her hips lowered. Neteyam used his other hand to adjust his cock into her entrance, she stopped at the bit of resistance of her folds.
He squeezed her neck to kill her squeal as he pushed her down further on his ridged length, stretching her out in one thrust.
Tumblr media
Her shackled arms reached in front of her, fingertips willing to not make any sound as she needed to keep her balance and sanity. Something about being in this extremely confined and dark space was making her nerves go on fire and her walls immediately squeezed around his ridges. Neteyam bit his own lips, he continued pushing her body down until her ass was flush against his hips.
Great Mother, his hard cock was pulsing warmth inside her, Tala couldn't control her inner walls spasming despite them not moving.
"Be good." He strained and Tala nodded, still unable to speak with his hand on her throat. Unknowingly, her tail wrapped around his forearm tightly. Oh, she felt like she was going to cum from him just being inside her now, what was happening.
Her eyes were fluttering open, eyes rolling back and her knees were shifting her position slightly, letting her rut tiny movements on him.
He couldn't help himself, she wasn't being good and in this situation, she would be far more mortified than he in getting caught.
So he let go of her neck, which let tiny sounds spill from her closed mouth. He brought both large hands to start playing with her tits, teasing the stiff peaks carelessly.
She hated this, she hated this. She felt so humiliated, how easily she became putty in his arms. She thought she'd gained some sort of foothold over him, but he knocked her down so easily and now his cock was so pleasurably rubbing against her sweet spot over and over, heating her up from the inside. Oh, she hated him, she hated him--
The voices outside stopped, the door whirred loudly closed and instantly Tala crumpled on top of him.
"NNnhg!" She moaned, high pitched and whiny.
"Was that the best you could do?" Neteyam teased from beneath her but before she could reply he fucked up into her harshly.
"I-MMM!" Tala brought back her bound hands to her mouth, trying to muffle the wanton moans as she tried not to fall over from his powerful thrusts. It was nothing like last night, he fucked her to dominate her even though she was on top.
"You wanted me to beg, hm? Wanted me to kiss you all nice and soft?" He pushed her face against the locked cabinet door, rutting into her even faster and rougher, their bodies smacking against each other in the dark heat.
"fuck,, fuck fuck!" She cried tightly to herself. Her tongue rolled out of her mouth, mind was getting hazy now...
"C'mon, ma'fil [my toy]. You want to do good for me, yes?" He groaned as he watched her fucked-out expression and the way her pussy squeezed and sucked in his cock hungrily. He could see all the details of her blushing flesh so easily in the dark, he enjoyed smelling their scents and their juices mixed together inside the locker.
"Ahh, ahh, mmg, gonna-gonna cum, please!" She whined, eyes rolled over. Her hands clasped together tightly, legs were beginning to shake from how roughly he was fucking her.
He just wanted to hear that pretty pussy make all of its pretty noises, wanted to make it squelch as it came from his cock.
But he had an idea, and as excruciating as it was to stop, he did. Tala gasped.
"Bu-what, please!" She whined, trying to grind her hips back on him but he suddenly fully sat down, caging her body in his arms. He leaned against her back, licking at the light sheen of sweat.
"Mmmh, please, Neteyam, please I need to---"
"Only good girls get to cum" He drawled out, he could feel his length twitching inside her and it drove him mad but he resisted.
"Good girls don't make sneaky little weapons or flirt with other men."
Tala cried out, "But-but I didn't~!" In the haze of her desire, the lies sounded extremely true even to her. Well, she never flirted with other men at least!
"Your poor yayo, wonder how he'd feel seeing you begging me now? How did he feel seeing my mark on you?" In place of his lust, Neteyam's cruel words were growing. Tala fidgeted, confusion laced in her every breath.
"W-what are-"
"Or your little mark on me?" He bit into her skin and desperately she squeezed his thick cock head inside her. It made him involuntarily buck, it's true, but it wasn't enough. Not by a long shot.
"We're not lovers, if that's what you're trying to say!" Tala huffed, frustration beading up. "M-maybe I did only want you, you inside me, okay?"
She twisted as best as she could, at least to make eye contact with him and he could see little droplets cling to her eyelashes.
"I’m your toy. Please let me cum~!" It was her final whimper, the only thing she could think to say in that moment and by Eywa, was it the best thing she could've said.
For Neteyam's yellow eyes widened, his pupils contracted even bigger as his possessive nature was stroked to perfection and he basically purred. She was his toy, wasn't she?
"Now you finally get it." His fangs gleamed even in the dark when set Tala against the floor of the locker now, ass raised up.
Tumblr media
"OHH, MMMM!" Tala screamed when Neteyam plunged back into her hot and wet core, haggard moans and breaths punching out of her lungs.
He fucked her so hard she thought he was willing her to become part of the floor, but that didn't stop her juices from flowing out of her nonstop or her orgasm from skyrocketing.
"Ahh, ahh,-MM,MM oh, oh, great mother I’m gonna--"
"C'mon, cum for me, Li'Tala."
Tala screamed into her arm as her body convulsed, she was seeing stars as she came so hard she instantly felt numb. Neteyam growled loudly and his hips stuttered, her walls strangling his throbbing length and it coaxed his cum to coat her insides again and again.
A few moments later, Neteyam kicked open the locker door, letting in refreshing air to cool their skin as he cradled Tala against his body. They panted hard and in sync, their bodies twitching from exhaustion and ecstacy and now sticking together, sweaty.
Tala was exhausted, emotionally and physically. She didn't even register how Neteyam had entwined his tail with hers, otherwise she'd surely jump at the opportunity to tease.
"No more of these metal things." Neteyam huffed out.
"Okay..."
"Or those symbols."
"Alright..."
Neteyam shifted, nuzzling into her neck. He liked her perfume too much.
"And don't forget what you said... you're MY toy. Mine."
Tala weakly glanced at him, though his face was still hidden away in her hair. She bit her lip and looked forward, the way their legs tangled together.
"Yours..."
The word felt heavy and bitter in her mouth.
----------------
It’s been a week and Tala had found herself at an impasse.
By no means did she keep any such requests Neteyam had asked of her, Orlek’an simply insisted on her being more careful and that the Anurai woman handle the rest.
She sighed, Neteyam was becoming… overzealous. They had seen each other every day since that incident and each day increased in both intimacy and confusion.
“Something wrong?” Tala turned in her stool back to Dr. Hanson. She smiled cheekily, of all the scientists he had become her favorite. Extremely easy to annoy.
“My ass hurts.”
He choked on his coffee and Patty chortled loudly behind her. Tala sighed louder and stretched out onto the table, prompting the scientist to quickly move his coffee mug and digital pad away to make room.
“Can’t you spare me any zoslu paste? My hips feel like they’re about to break.” Tala whined softly, though truly she was not expecting any charity. Patty howled even louder and Dr. Hanson sputtered.
“I gave you advil! And Jesus Christ, get up! We still have 18 more samples and variations to look through!” Dr. Hanson yelled. Tala rolled over and looked up at him with fluttering eyes.
“Please, a break? I’ll be very cooperative after, I promise.” She asked meekly, her voice small and sad, and Dr. Hanson sighed into his mug.
“Fine. 20 minutes, and then back to work!” He grumbled. Tala smiled and purred against his arm, from 5 minutes to 20, she had done a good job wheedling him to be nicer and nicer.
She took off her new coat, for some reason Neteyam had permanently kept her old one, and laid it flat on the floor. It would be her only cushion and yet it was enough for her then anyway.
As Tala curled onto the floor, her ears could hear the soft whirring and vibrations of mechanical components and people walking and talking. She didn’t have many solid clues of how long since she’d been captured, a few months now at the very least.
It felt like a new lifetime. Eerily comfortable and constricted, Tala increasingly felt a weight settle on her chest with each new cold day she woke up to.
Tala looked down at her hands, inhibitors heavy on her wrists. How long has it been since she’s seen the skin underneath?
Why does she worry about these tawtutes, these bare acquaintances?
How much longer did she have to stay a toy for someone who obviously despised her?
Was there nothing she could do but wait for Eywa?
Tala sighed, she could feel her face heating up. Oh, she’s tried so hard not to think about any of this, she needed to compartmentalize it all, yet the moment she relaxed everything bubbled to the surface.
Not to mention everything with Neteyam. Especially after what had happened the week before, Tala wished desperately for his face to disappear from her thoughts. But it never did.
He was ruining her, though perhaps she was giving him too much credit.
The Tawkami put her focus back on listening to the machines clicking and vibrating. It was calming, she could get lost in this rhythm, she just needed to calm down. It reminded her of water and rain, and she wished she could see it again–
“GET UP, NOW!”
Patty violently hauled Tala up by her shoulder and only then did she pay attention to all the other noises. Shouting, some screams of panic. Tala snapped to Dr. Hanson who was cursing and gathering materials left and right as Patty impatiently punched in codes for the lab doors to open.
“Wh-What’s-?”
“Flooding in Sector C. It’s been raining hell for fucking days, and something’s punctured the fort!” Dr. Hanson yelled and scrambled after them as Patty dragged her to run down. Rain?
The hallways were filled with scrambling scientists and some guards barking orders, soldiers quickly clearing out rooms. Tala passed by the opposing hallway that led to the prison. “Wait!” She hissed, pulling at Patty’s kuru. The soldier yowled and glared at her.
“What the fuck!”
“Orlek’an, my friend!! What about my friend?!” Tala shouted over her. Patty made a face and looked towards the prison.
“I’m sure the guards cleared her outta there, now let’s move!”
“We have to check! Those guards are skxawngs, they barely even remember to feed us!” The Tawkami girl seethed desperately. “Please, Patty!” She begged loudly over the alarm now blaring through the compound. The lights went out and Dr. Hanson screamed more curses. She could hear Patty curse loudly. Tala yelped when she felt liquid spilling onto the floor and it only made her cling tighter to the soldier to beseech her.
“Please!”
The emergency lights came back on, shining green. Patty glanced at Dr. Hanson, obviously as scared shitless as they all were, and then back at Tala. She cursed again and hit some buttons on her wrist tech and Tala’s hands were freed apart.
“I’ve deactivated the magnets on your cuffs, and I've allowed you full access to the floor. Just hit this code on the door and you can get your friend, follow the blinking lights for the exits. My priority is the safety of Dr. Hanson.” Patty explained quickly and Tala nodded.
“Wait, you can’t just let her go-”
“We’re getting you out of here, Lloyd, no questions!”
“Patty!” Tala yelled.
She turned to Tala.
“Thank you.”
Patty’s mouth was tight as she nodded and she picked up Dr. Hanson, bounding the other way.
Tala looked for only a second until she too was running fast, making large splashes with every leap, basically tearing her lab coat off. She was trying to take care not to slip, but the water level was rising surprisingly quickly.
The water was up to her shins when Tala arrived at the prison doors and punched in the code.
“Orlek’an!!”
“Tala?!” The Anurai woman screamed out, her hands raw from scratching at the cages. Tala sped to Orlek’an, seeing her clearly for the first time.
“How did you-”
“No time!” The younger quickly punched in the code for Orlek’an’s cage and she breathed out in relief when it blinked white and the metal doors opened.
For the first time, Tala looked at her Anurai cellmate fully and wholly, she was older than her, she had already known, and beautiful. Her eyes glowed amber and quickly the two women held each other tightly.
Tala let out a watery laugh, the Anurai woman was so much taller than her, and she smelled like yovo fruit and waterfalls.
“Here, quickly.” Orlek’an handed her a bundle of darts, and bandaids to hold the sharp and rough metal by. Tala almost hesitated but gripped the darts carefully. Much bigger than the needle Neteyam had confiscated, these ones were coated in the nonlethal poison Tala managed to create behind the scientists' backs.
She nodded, finally, it was time to enact something they’d been preparing for weeks together, just them two.
“Let’s go now, young one!”
Orlek’an grabbed Tala’s hand and the two waded as quickly as possible away from the prison.
Tala strained her eyes between the dark and bright green, the lights blinking. She gestured for the Anurai to follow her and the two swam and paddled desperately.
This must be the disaster, the first one of Eywa’s Revenge. By Water.
They dove, a light at the end of the hall. When the women resurfaced at the exit, soldiers herded scientists and prisoners, scrambling all around in the chaos.
The rain made it still so difficult to breathe but Great Mother…
Tala inhaled deeply, the rain and the seawater, the mist and the dirt.
Finally, she was outside.
But only just.
Orlek’an and Tala ran behind more facilities as they made their way to the docks, which was no small feat. Though the sea wall was massive and easy for them to locate, Bridgehead was even bigger and water sloshed all around, making it difficult for any one of them to gain footholds.
The force of the waves was enough to topple over the people in large exoskeleton-machine suits and every so often, Tala or Orlek’an would throw their paralyzing darts. The rain was on their side, never did a droplet deter a dart from its trajectory and each throw left a dreamwalker or tawtute soldier falling to the ground, stunned.
When they neared the sea wall, they were not the only ones. There were multiple prisoners, each had risked their escapes by the raging ocean than by attempting a crossing of the RDA’s Kill Zone.
Tala’s eyes blinked away heavy raindrops as they strained, she turned to Orlek’an. “Why way?!”
The older woman also searched until her eyes landed upon the edge of the seawall, implanted into a rocky cliffside next to the edge of the sea itself. The older na’vi gestured for Tala to follow her as they sprinted towards the edge, losing their footing as the waves that tumbled inside Bridgehead city only increased in violence.
Tala gasped, eyes locked onto a figure already on the sea wall.
“What is it?” Orlek’an shouted.
“It’s– It’s my friend, Anke’ti!”
There he was, already deep in the water and crashing with violent waves, trying to scale over the sea wall. Each time he got closer and closer to the edge, and each time his blue body was more and more visible against the cement.
Tala clasped Orlek’an’s shoulders.
“Go on! I need to help him!!” She shouted and then hugged Orlek’an tightly.
“Goodbye, my friend. Eywa be with you.” She whispered with all her heart. She could tell tears were streaming down her face already, despite the torrent of rain. Her first friend, her only friend here.
“Eywa be with you, Tala.” Orlek’an kissed her cheek and they looked at each other for what could be the last time.
Tala squeezed Orlek’an’s hand, tried to smile, then dashed past the woman. Eywa, she prayed, she prayed deeply for all her friends to survive and to see them again.
She ran breathlessly toward the closest edge of the sea gate, enclosed by natural hills and mountains. She started climbing, feet singing as they crunched on the wild grass underneath. It was wonderful, but she could not stop to admire it! She needed to go faster!
Tala kept her eyes on Anke’ti as she climbed, he was so close, so close to reaching the edge, and – yes! Anke’ti grabbed onto the edge of the sea wall and started climbing himself up. The strain of everything, his thin body shook in both the wind and exhaustion. He had already been experiencing the pressure of rain on his back for many days now, he looked so tired.
“ANKE!” She screamed and she could feel herself smile for that briefest moment when his tail raised, ears flicked. Anke’ti continued his struggle, continued pulling himself up.
Hope filled Tala’s heart, she just needed to see him off, follow him once she knew he was over—
A spot of black in her peripheral vision, a malicious shine through the torrential rain, a gun – NO! It was pointed right at him!
Tumblr media
Tala changed her direction towards the soldier, trying to climb faster but it simply felt too long, she felt too slow, she wasn’t going to make it in time, the soldier started to squeeze the trigger and–
Tala prayed to Eywa with a scream.

As soon as she re-emerged, the first thing she experienced was the uncomfortable sunlight flooding the room. She turned away to seek shelter from the day, stifling a grunt in her pillow. The second thing that stung her was the fresh smell of fabric softener permeating the sheets. She opened one eye, struggling to make out the contours of the room; a grey lacquered wardrobe, a bedside table, the photograph of her family. The noises beyond the door jolted her awake. She pulled herself up, rubbing one eye, and yawned. Memories of many nights before surfaced. As she regained lucidity, she bowed her head to look at her frame as if she did not recognize herself in the skin that had been her shell since birth. She was wearing the khaki shirt she had taken from the avatar assortment, which essentially served as her dress. She had put it on after jumping into the shower, hoping to shake off the chills Jake’s fingers had left as they ran all over her body.
The body of her avatar.
She ran a hand over where the man had spanked her, expecting to find a bruise or at least feel the sore area, but nothing.
The level of connection between the avatar and the human piloting it was astonishing, almost destabilizing. Experiencing every little thing through a puppet, which gave her back an exact replica of the ones it came into contact with; its sensory response to the environment, its impulses, and emotions. The information passed from one brain to the other, making it difficult to distinguish between which was generated by the real Aubree and which by the avatar. Dream and reality mixed together and there were times — always — when she felt more alive when her consciousness slipped into the artificial skeleton than when she was confined to her actual skin. All her senses were amplified during the link. Colors were brighter, her vision more receptive and with a wider range. Her senses sharper, her smell stronger.
God, how good Jake’s scent was, so warm and sensual; the spicy notes blending with the woody ones like an embrace.
No! Just forget about him.
When she returned to her limited human envelope, she found herself unfailingly myopic, deaf, anosmic, and... starving. The only thing to remind her that, yes, that was her reality and that organism also needed nourishment. And for a while, she could put aside the mess she had gotten herself into. She could stop pretending that everything was fine, that she didn’t feel used and thrown away after Lo’ak was assigned as her mentor once again (apparently no others were available, or maybe no one wanted him as a karyu).  As the weeks passed, more escapades like that followed, and a mounting guilt began to gnaw at her conscience, stronger with each one. Then nothing more. Jake must have grown tired of her.
Asshole. Like father, like son.
She tied her hair up with the elastic she always wore on her wrist and threw her legs off the bed, intent on getting up. After getting ready to start another day’s work, she slipped her badge into her pocket and went out. She walked down the corridor leading to the canteen, following the hustle and bustle that morning with her eyes and chewed on her lip, ignoring the slight anxiety that she might run into Jake. She still didn’t feel up to facing him. It was an entirely new situation for her, having wild sex on a couch with a married man of a good twenty years her senior. Promiscuity wasn’t unusual for the Na’vi, but heck he had a mate — and not just any clan woman — alongside a prominent position in the clan. He wasn’t exactly someone who could afford an exposure of this caliber, considering his alien origins. What had happened between them was something with the potential to split the tribe in two, as well as his family. It was like shoving in everyone’s face that he was missing his humanity, that the Na’vi ways were a tight fit for him.
She walked into the room and saw Lo’ak in front of the sink drinking a cup of coffee; she faced his back and stared at the muscular curve of his bare shoulders. It always amazed her to discover that Earth foods were edible for natives as well.
Did I really have sex with this guy’s father?
He was wearing clothing she had never seen him in before; leg guards covered his shins to above the knee, a warrior’s waistband, and his usual armbands. The moment her eyes lingered on his butt, Aubree cleared her throat and exclaimed a smiling, “Good morning!”  He turned, lowered his arm, and stared at her: he looked tired. He didn’t seem to have just woken up, yet he took her breath away all the same. Lo'ak was remarkably handsome. Tall, athletic, with a killer smile and warm, cunning eyes. The traits he inherited from his father were marked enough to make him somewhat familiar to her species, but recalled her all too well of the olo’eyktan. And honestly, after what they shared, the last thing she needed was the constant reminder of their little adventure and the coldness that followed.
“About time.” “Did I oversleep?” she asked in a chuckle, approaching and pointing at one of the chairs arranged around the table.  “Nah, it’s not even noon yet,” he retorted sarcastically, showing her his cup. “Time to finish this so I would come drag you out of bed.” “Seriously, how do you Na’vi always get up so early?” she rolled her eyes. “Rhythms of the village, there is no time to waste. Coffee?” he asked her and started fiddling with the machine. Was he in a sour mood? “Thanks.”  For a while, the only sound was the hum of coffee being brewed. Aubree drummed her fingers on the table, unsure of what to say.“Sorry, I was in desperate need of some rest. The extended bond with the avatar is really debilitating.” “Once you transfer your consciousness, this will all stop,” he grumbled, and she refused to acknowledge him.
Consciousness transfer. To admit that it terrified her was an understatement. She felt dizzy just thinking about it; the procedure posed a significant danger. What if Eywa had refused the passage through her eye if she had not considered her suitable? What If she would never have been able to separate herself from her human nature?
“No need to stress your pretty little head about it. You've still got a long way to go before you can be reborn in your new body. Let’s concentrate on overcoming the rituals so you can be part of the People. You don't wanna croak during the Iknimaya, right?” he said in that smooth, biting way that angered her. She was about to answer him harshly, but she froze and took a deep breath before his eyes. “I'm not up for arguing before breakfast.” “This is new.” He handed her a white cup and she grabbed it, thanking him. He looked at her, suddenly frowning. He was really in a bad mood, but she had no idea why. The woman brought her cup to her lips and blew on it, following his figure intent on wiping a cloth on the kitchen countertop. “No breakfast for you?” “I already had it, like, six hours ago,” he replied, not even glancing at her, and huffed. “Have a drink, at least. It's not a good idea to wait too long between meals. Snacks are crucial.” He turned and raised an eyebrow. “Why are you so nosy about my diet?” “I’m just tryna get along with you. I can't keep changing tutors every other day,” she explained. “Says the crybaby who went whining to my dad because she didn’t fit in with my methods. Yet here you are.”
Touché.
“By the way. What happened with him? He never backed down from an assignment. He didn't quit, not even with me.” “Huh, nothing really. I guess I was one commitment too many in his busy schedule,” she lied, but Lo’ak wasn’t buying it. Anyhow, he shrugged and leaned against the counter, arms folded and legs crossed. “Ready to go?” “Are you trying to make me die of hunger in the pod?” she bounced him and he chuckled at last. She much preferred the sassy Lo’ak, rather than the testy one, not even having the confidence to investigate the reason.  “Anyway, our training today is called off.” “What?” “My research is way behind and I can't keep ignoring it.”
A lively flash of rage crossed the bottom of his eyes; his expression hard and his lips tight. “You have done nothing for weeks except work in the lab, or vegetate in your room.” Aubree sighed and rested her chin on her palm. “It was like ten days, tops.” “That’s not the point!” The beginnings of a roar vibrated in his chest. “You haven't made any headway since I started training you again. Wanna become Omatikaya, yes or no?” The realization hit her like a brick wall — she was speechless, not knowing what to say. Before she was so sure, she would have answered that question without hesitation, but now her conviction painfully falters. Working is all she did. She was doing what she knew, what kept her grounded, what she did best. Aubree was being a Ph.D. student; she was being… human. Shutting herself off from the world within those four walls.
Her voice faded to nothing, and she lowered her gaze: she must have sounded so pathetic. Lo'ak's tongue flapped parched against his palate. “Forget it. It was already too late to do anything today,” he scoffed, making an annoyed face, his tone laced with irritation. “Fine. But let's make it clear, no more beating around the bush. Starting tomorrow, it’s back to business, princess,” he snarled, shaking his head, and setting her back on her feet, giving her a resounding spank on her rear. “Now get your ass in the damn lab and keep your eyes glued to the microscope.” Aubree blinked, taken aback.
Beads of sweat soaked her hair. Sinking her nails into the back of the couch, she savored every second it took for his palm to collide with her now purple, sensitive skin, full of anticipation for that throbbing pain that triggered tremors of annihilating pleasure. Electric shocks surged down her spine, pooling in her lower abdomen, synchronized to an invisible rhythm that resonated solely within him. But the most beautiful thing was his quickened breathing and the snorting of laughter that followed her whimpers.
The woman clutched at the doorframe with trembling fingers, her chest heaving up and down with slight breathlessness. “What’s up with you?” He muttered, “Did I hurt you?” He wetted a hand under the jet of the sink and ran it over her heated forehead and then over her neck. She emitted a hiss at that contact, and the frown that had formed on his forehead distracted her from the flash of moments before. “You're all flushed. That’s all it took to turn you on?” he questioned, almost amused, and gave her a sidelong glance. “I forgot that you nerds are a bundle of kinks. Like brats with hormones raging.”
Well, that’s rich!
“I thought you were going back to the village,” she grunted, glaring at him. Lo’ak raised his arms in surrender before she could bark at him. “OK, OK! But these are the consequences of staying holed up in here. Do yourself a favor and get some fresh air from time to time. You're as white as a ghost.” She stared at him in silence before retorting sarcastically, “Thank you.” He raised an eyebrow and finally stretched his lips into a sly smirk.
“OK, let’s recap. Since Lo’ak was being a dick, the olo’eyktan offered to teach you. You guys were all flirty, and then he brought you to the abandoned lab. You had a fling and haven't seen each other since.” We had more than one, actually. “We weren’t exactly flirting,” she retorted crossly, and Liv shot her a sardonic grin.  “You’re totally screwed, if all you heard of the entire sentence was ‘flirty’.” Aubree rolled her eyes and settled herself better on the sofa. She checked the wall clock in the break room: another quarter-hour and she’d be back on her job. Liv understood exactly what she was thinking and turned serious. “Do you feel like talking about what’s bothering you? Besides the guilt, I mean.” She shrugged and bit her lip. “I don’t know. It’s a lot of stuff. I feel kinda crappy about Neytiri, but at the same time, I tell myself I shouldn’t because it’s no biggie for Na’vi to get physical outside of marriage; it doesn’t take away from their bond, and I might not be the only one. But then I’m like, whether he wants it, he is still somewhat human, and in our culture, that's cheating. Let's not even get started on the age, status, and Lo'ak situation. Oh, and this whole deal of becoming Omatikaya.” “Isn’t that what you want?” “... I have no idea anymore. Is it really that important? The consciousness transfer. My avatar being Omatikaya isn't enough? Honestly, what good could I do for the clan? I’m a researcher.” “I believe this is the heart of the matter. Do you hesitate because you think you are inadequate, or is it just his rejection making you hesitate?”
“You good to go back to HQ on your own?”
Anger surged through her gut at the thought of how he had dismissed her. Not even the decency to take her back. Perhaps she had to admit that a small part of her was disappointed, even though she already knew he was an inaccessible man for so many reasons. A man who should have remained in her fantasies.
Lo’ak is right. I’m still a teen in the throes of hormones.
“I anticipated it would happen with Lo’ak, to be perfectly honest.” Liv thought it better to rub it in her face. Aubree extended a leg, striking her thigh with her foot. “You better not say that again.” “Why? He's clearly into you. He would be a better choice than his father, don't you agree?” In response, the scientist sipped her tea very serenely. “Mm, nothing to say? Just a heads up, no insults or threats?” Didn't you tell me to stay away from him? “I’m going to be superior and won’t validate you.” “Oh. Oooooh, you fancy him as well, don’t you? Naughty girl.”
“Who are we talking about?” exclaimed a voice behind them. Out of surprise, they practically spilled the contents of their cups on the floor. “Mind announcing yourself when you walk into a room? You're so stealthy, you're gonna give me a heart attack, eventually.” “Rather, what do you have there?” Liv asked to throw Spider off the previous conversation. Something they adamantly did not want anyone to know, least of all the olo’eyktan’s son’s best friend. “Wasabi fries.” “Wasabi?! How do you get some of that here? Mind to share?” “Didn't you complain about gaining two kilos just a few days ago?”
“Excuse you?!” “What’d you say?!”
Spider looked at their menacing faces in disbelief before rolling his eyes and reaching for the bag. “I have yet to learn to shut up when you’re together.” Aubree held back a satisfied smirk, picking up a handful and heading for the door, already with a few in her mouth. "I'm gonna head back to my computer," she mumbled with her mouth full, trying to cut it short before the guy pushed her to speak. That would have been awkward. “Already?” “Lo’ak gave me an ultimatum, remember?” At the mere thought of having to return to the lab, with no other distraction from her predicament, that slimy feeling came up again, heavy as a rock.
Although her senses were limited as a human, she sensed the trail of his scent even before the sound of his footsteps reached her ears, as if she had registered it somewhere inside her; rapidly felt a start of breathlessness. Like a dog that drools at the sound of the bell, that has been associated with its meal. She looked up from the monitor and met Jake’s intense gaze. She forced herself to smile at him despite the loud voices in her head fighting for the upper hand. One was insulting him and admonishing her to get away from him, the other begging her to pounce on him. “What's the meaning of this?” His eyes hadn’t let go of her for a second and burned into her, although she couldn’t quite understand what they were hiding. I mean, it had been at least ten days since their last encounter and they hadn’t spoken since then, nor had they seen each other. Aubree had been careful not to be around him. Of course, she didn’t want to look like some doting student with a schoolgirl crush.  Too late.
Just as she was about to speak, Jake once again took the floor. “What the hell are you doing here, girlie?” The nickname was a real low blow. “I’m working,” she replied lightning-fast, trying to hide the slight concern that was rising as she focused on that paradoxical context. She tried not to make any shrill sounds as the man indignantly rotated the swivel chair she was sitting on and planted his face in front of her, dangerously close. “I was falling behind on my research.” Aubree almost huffed, ignoring the sinister glint the yellow of his eyes was painted with. What did he expect after his treatment? “What about your training?” He hissed then. “I took a few days,” she chimed in, wanting to bring that conversation to a close. “Lo'ak and I have decided that we'll be back to full strength tomorrow. Now if you don’t mind...” She walked towards the cooler with the samples to be analyzed, with every intention of making him take the hint. She was not pleased to see him.
Liar.
“I’ve been trying to talk to you for days.” Really? She squeaked internally. “Sorry for making you waste your precious time. As you can see, I’ve been busy,” she said with a hint of sourness. She felt him follow her with his gaze as she placed the slide under the lens and bent over the microscope. “I noticed,” his tone was ice-cold. “I take it you don’t give a damn about becoming one with the clan.” “Convenient, right? One less ketuwong (alien) to deal with,” she exclaimed, furrowing her brow. “What brings you here at this hour anyway, olo’eyktan? Your mate must be wondering where you are.”
She waited with her back to him for an answer that didn’t come, but when she turned to meet his eyes, she wished she hadn’t; wished she hadn’t opened her big mouth at all. Jake approached slowly, coming so close as to pin her against the table frame, she felt his breath on her face. This was cheating. Her mental capacity when he was this close was equal to zero. “I suggest you move your equipment out of the way,” he whispered, as piercing as a bullet whizzing through the air could be. “Why?” she asked stupidly, already out of breath. His magnetic gaze slid under her eyes and she licked her lips reflexively. “‘Cause when I’ll shush you, I won’t give a shit if I break something.” Her throat went dry, and a series of conflicting thoughts and questions crowded into her head. She did as he recommended. The bluish light of the monitors barely illuminated him, and that semi-darkness reminded her of the first night when he had taken her to the old shack. When he had spanked her like a naughty little girl. She took a good glance at him. He looked exhausted, with his tense shoulders and those deep circles under his eyes.
Aubree sighed: no, she couldn’t pretend. She couldn’t kick him out.
He moved away to give her room to move. “On the table,” he said without changing his expression. He sounded like he told her he wanted a glass of water, yet she shivered anyway and obeyed. He moved a few steps towards her and Aubree held her breath as he imprisoned her in his arms, his palms resting each on one side of her thighs. “Pull up your skirt.” Everything happened quickly, he stood between her legs and she could do nothing but stare at him from below, too astonished to produce any thoughts: he undid his waistband with deliberate slowness, completely at odds with the furious expression he apparently no longer held back. “You just love pissing me off, baby girl.” He almost seemed to snarl at her and something slimy crawled around her stomach as she watched him towering over her. Jake was right. There was something in the animalistic light that had shone on him that attracted her dangerously. He pulled his tewng down to his ankles. “Open your mouth.”
All the air eluded her lungs in a puff as soon as she absorbed that order. It didn’t take her more than a millisecond to realize what he wanted. A strange electricity coursed through her back and she straightened up on the table almost unconsciously until she was in line with his belly; at the right height. She inhaled and exhaled imperceptibly, before taking courage and looking up at him in defiance of shame. In defiance of him. Jake watched her from above and her frenzy probably increased as he gave himself a few shakes; Aubree licked her lips expectantly, discovering herself hungry. Feeling their hands join, Jake raised an eyebrow and the corners of his mouth lifted. She took him in her hand, hesitating just enough that the man sank a hand into her hair and pulled her forward: a sweet rush clutched her intestines.
“What if someone walked in?” “They’d enjoy the show.” “What if your son or wife came in?”  “Neytiri never comes here,” he tugged her. Aubree parted her lips and let him slide on her tongue, sighing as she felt his strong taste. She let him guide her movements, wanting to understand what he liked and how; meanwhile, the rough way he was thrusting all the way in, his grip tight behind the nape of her neck, his breathing getting heavier and coarser, everything was driving her crazy. She went toward him until she felt the tip against her throat and tears slipping down her cheeks and had to rest her hands on his thighs.
“Shit.”
A powerful gasp caused her to glance up at him once more, as he stared down at her with a wild, languid look. His lips agape and his breathing broken. She couldn’t hold back a sigh, feeling him contract on her tongue in reflex. She felt herself plummet into another world and increased the rhythm, sucking hard. In a flash, he pushed her away, and Aubree didn’t even have time to catch her breath as he smothered her with an ardent kiss. She grabbed his shoulders, trying to drag him off her, but he resisted and had little hope against his strength. He pulled away, pulling her lower lip with his teeth, and then moved to her jaw and left ear, leaving a trail of goosebumps where his lips passed. Aubree’s thoughts were clouded and her heart was racing.
“Strip,” he whispered overbearingly to her before pulling himself up. Another order that upset her tummy. She was out of breath, her panties soaked and shivering on her skin without even being touched. No one had ever done that to her; she had never enjoyed giving pleasure to another, much less obeying them. Aubree stood up, despite her now jelly muscles, and stared at him, fully reciprocating the intensity of his gaze as she curled her fingers around the hem of her blouse and pulled it up to slip it off. Jake hissed as soon as she was totally uncovered, perhaps because she hadn’t worn a bra once again and her locks fell free over her shoulders. With no shame, she flashed him a smirk under her lust-darkened eyes; she couldn’t be embarrassed if he stared at her like that. Her pencil skirt slid down her legs along with her thong, leaving them on the floor. Jake bridged the distance between them and grabbed her face, but being very careful not to kiss her. Again the no kiss rule of last time. He seemed irritated by the way she stared at him defiantly, waiting for his moves.
“You’re pissing me off, baby girl.” She almost purred as soon as that obnoxious nickname caressed her ears. God, how she loved it. “Why don’t you do something about it, then?” she taunted him anew. She couldn’t help it. Something inside her was tempted to stand up to him. The woman furrowed her brows and her breath caught as he casually slipped the belt out of the loops of her skirt. He tugged at her wrists, wrapping the surrounding belt, and fastened the buckle in the tightest possible hole. Next, he turned her back with a snap. Aubree gasped, remembering the spanking from the previous time when she felt him bend over, just before he grabbed her hair, pulling her head back. She couldn’t even resist as he vehemently slid something silky between her lips and let out a surprised moan. Her panties. “That'll do for now,” he growled, letting go of her grip on her hair to incline her over the table, joining his fingers to her bottom. She breathed through her nose faster and faster, feeling exposed, helpless, and mortified. The student perceived only his body and his voice. Everything else in the world had disappeared. Someone could have walked in for real, but she wouldn’t have noticed, so absorbed in their own little bubble. Just when she was trying to relax, his palm slapped her buttock, and she cried out, her voice muffled by the fabric of her underwear. She hated how this treatment eager her to no end: it was completely irrational. He spanked her again. Aubree lost count of how many times he did it. She could only realize the burning pain on her skin fused with an electric sensation that made her toes curl and her back arch. Finally, at last, his fingers trailed down her flushed cheeks and brushed the folds of her intimacy. He stroked her clit, but it was a fleeting, light contact as if he was mocking her. And so he probably was. Aubree stifled the sound of protest that was about to escape her, but the amused snort he blew into the back of her head made her understand her efforts were futile; he could pick up even the slightest reaction of her body. He was in complete control of her.
The other hand ran down her back until it tightened its grip on her neck. He withdrew it up in a fluid movement, and then slid it down to her mouth to take the fabric from her teeth. The woman gasped loudly as she grabbed her breath, just in time for his index and middle fingers to work their way between her lips. One finger alone had, to say the least, the same circumference as two human male fingers. She opened her mouth and felt his giant fingertips caressed her tongue at exactly the same time as he penetrated her with his digits and bowed her back in reflex, moaning shamefully aloud. “You pathetic little girl.” Jake blew almost amusedly into her ear as he picked up a cadenced rhythm, and she bent her head back. Into the darkness, seeking more contact against a body three times the size of hers, shuddering even more at the inability to move, he twirled his fingers inside her, stimulating a point that took her whiff away and made every muscle tense. As if he read her mind, the man increased his speed, making sure to touch that spot with such precision that she felt her orgasm rise like a wave. It was at that moment that he stopped; his hands slipping away. She felt so, so empty.
“Jake...!” You asshole.
Frustrated, she tried to free her wrists, but he pushed her forward on the desk, her cheek pressed against the icy surface, completely at his mercy. She was about to give up any form of pride and beg him to untie her, but was interrupted by her own cry as he penetrated her, slamming their hips together and stooping to clamp a hand around her throat. The burning that flooded her at that sudden stretching, so extensive that, for a split second, it seemed to rip through the flesh, went straight to her head. Jake moved in that rough way of his and Aubree realized how much she had missed him. Consumed with the desire to enclose him with her legs and arms, to scratch his back and watch at his face. That was yet another punishment, taking her from behind without giving her the opportunity to steal his most forbidden expressions. To steal his kisses and moans. As he pushed deep inside her, surprising himself that he could fit in such a tiny body, everything dissolved and became undefined. Aubree was a weeping mass of saliva and whines beneath him. Suddenly, she felt his breath against her ear.
“Apologise,” he growled, and his hand descended to cup one breast and then go over and start jerking her off as if she wasn’t already at her limit. She sobbed in response, opening her lips and trying to articulate something rational. “...S-sorry,” came out simply before a mighty thrust made her inarcate. She felt the orgasm building anew in her belly and she closed her eyes, desperately praying that he would let her come. “Please, forgive me.” “Say you’ll never skip training again.” “Yes.” “Yes, what?” “I’ll never skip a day of training again!”
He bit her neck and welcomed his sudden increase in furious speed: it was the last straw. The knot in her abdomen melted, and she was overwhelmed by a wave of liquid glee that spread through every single nerve ending. She writhed against the desk, tense, before collapsing immediately afterwards without any energy left. Jake came soon after her and rested for several seconds his forehead on her sweaty back, catching his breath. She blinked her damp eyelashes and stared exhaustedly at the door, immersed in a contented bubble of bamboozlement that couldn’t quite shield her fear of being detected anymore. She then sensed his hands reach for her wrists, on which she was leaning clumsily, and help her up to undo her belt buckle.
“Did I hurt you?” he asked in a murmur, running his thumb over the slight red mark that was surfacing on her skin. Aubree turned her head towards the warmth of his chest behind her back: his face was so close, his scent everywhere. “I’m fine,” she answered in an almost hoarse voice. How much had she shouted? A vague embarrassment washed over her as she brought about the last forty minutes. But she was far too exhausted and tired to give it the importance it deserved. He was about to let go of her hands when she clasped her fingers to his; Jake looked at her circumspectly and with a glimmer of hesitation, because she was begging him with her eyes to stay. “You know I can’t. Do you need me to walk you to your room?”  “That would be way too sketchy.” He nodded, once, dressed, and headed for the door, but before he crossed the threshold, he said something that shocked her.
“Lo'ak deeply cares for you. If you wish to pick him as your mate after Unitaron, you have our approval.” And he left.

PART IV.
Neteyam watches as his siblings play in the water while he sits on the sand. You were busy playing with Tuk, diving deep to search for shiny shells and pearls for her braids. In fact, it was you who told Neteyam to rest, and that you’d take care of Tuk and Kiri for him while Tsireya plays with Lo’ak.
He was not used to it, he’s not built for leisure. However, it didn't seem bad to watch you bond with his siblings.
Although he still doesn't know what he truly feels for you, he’s content with having fun with you. His mother was right with everything. As long as he knows you're having fun with him, he’s content with that.
He wonders what it makes the two of you now? From strangers to what? Not lovers, but definitely more than friends, right?
If it was Neteyam from a few weeks before, he probably wouldn't believe what's happening right now. It surely wasn't on his plan to have a… what does dad call it? a situationship?
Having a situationship in a place he barely knew wasn't something he expected when he and his family left Omatikaya. It has all been confusing, but all he knows is that he feels happy when you're near.
Dealing with discrimination from people like Ao’nung is rough, but you easily made it all worth it.
What worries him is your supposed arrangement with Ao’nung. Although he knows you do not have any feelings for the latter, what about Ao’nung? Does he like you?
“Stop thinking so hard, brother. It makes you look older.” Kiri chuckled as she sat beside Neteyam.
Neteyam shook his head. “Done playing?”
“Um. Tuk seems to love her company though. She didn't wanna leave the water.”
Kiri looked at you and Tuk who’s happily playing on the water, before looking back at her older brother. “Lo’ak isn't wrong you know? You're really obvious. It surprises me, for I never really thought you’d be like this. So… lovestruck…”
Neteyam’s eyes widened. “I’m not lovestruck. Look at Lo’ak, he can't even look away from Tsireya.”
Kiri covered her mouth and stifled her laugh, “Eywa knows you're both the same. The girls back in the forest would be furious to know that the two finest young men have been completely enamored with reef girls.”
Neteyam smiled as he shook his head. He knew that some of the girls in the forest held admiration for him, but he was so used to it. That's why he even began to notice you, because he wasn't used to being ignored and avoided so blatantly like you did when the two of you met.
He smiled as he remembered the agreement you and him made last night. Perhaps he’ll understand what he feels even more once he gets to spend time with you more.
Kiri looked at his brother and smiled wistfully, remembering a certain someone she hadn't seen for a long time. She missed him so much.
“I say just go have fun, brother. You’d never know when you’ll feel like this again. Perhaps never again. So go for it. Just don't let mother knows.”
“Too late for that. She already know.”
Kiri’s expression morphed into shock. “And you didn't tell me?!”
“I don't think it's really necessary. She just told me things basically same with what you said.”
Kiri pretended to be hurt. “Now I’m hurt. I’m supposed to be the first to know everything!”
“Well, at least Dad doesn't seem to know.”
Kiri giggled. “If mom is on your side, dad’s no longer a problem. You got this, brother.”
“Thanks, Kiri.”
Unknowingly, Lo’ak and Tsireya had disappeared. Neteyam didn't think much about it because he thought the two were probably busy playing around on some corner of the beach. Meanwhile, you and Tuk were already walking back. In Tuk’s hands were colorful shells you picked for her.
“Had fun?” Neteyam hugged Tuk and carried her, smiling as he turned to look at you.
“Yes! She picked a lot of shells for me to weave and put on my braids!”
Neteyam smiled gratefully at you before urging his sister. “That’s so nice. What do you say then?”
Tuk looked at you with a smile as bright as the Tsawke, “Thank you, big sister!”
“You’re welcome, paskalin.” You patted her head and locked eyes with Neteyam for a few seconds before you hurriedly looked away.
Kiri watched you and Neteyam, rolling her eyes. She’s getting sick of each and everyone of you being so obvious, but too afraid to admit your feelings for each other. She didn’t even know where Lo’ak and Tsireya had gone off too.
“I’ll go first, I need to finish some tasks from the Tsahik. I’m glad Tuk had fun.”
Neteyam smiled at you, before mouthing. See you later.
Tumblr media
You silently exited your marui, walking briskly towards the shore, hoping Neteyam was already there waiting for you. The eclipse has just begun, but you were too excited. The reef people sleeps early and rises early, thus you weren’t really worried about someone spotting you.
To your delight, Neteyam was already there, sitting on the sand, silently waiting for you. You plopped next to him with a wide smile. “Hello there, mighty warrior. Alone? Need some company?”
“I’m sorry but I’m occupied for tonight, a pretty little reef girl asked especially asked for my time.”
“Ah, is that so? What a lucky girl.” You both laughed. Pulling him to stand up, you whistled for your ilu. “Ready to be amazed?”
Neteyam looked at you as he tilted his head. “I’m a mighty warrior, i’m always ready.”
You rolled your eyes and pulled him to sit behind you, your whole body warming up as his arms wrapped around your waist. Closing your eyes, you patted his thigh and ordered your ilu to move forward, diving and speeding through the water.
It didn’t take long for you to reach your intended destination. It was a small floating island not far from the cove of ancestors, with bioluminescent plants and vines growing in it. This was the most similar place to a forest you can think of every time your parents talk about the forest. You know how Neteyam missed the forest, so you wanted share this place with him.
“...This…?”
You smiled, “This is a place I discovered while searching for medicinal plants. I-I hope it’s at least similar to the forest you grew up in…”
Neteyam roamed his eyes, nostalgia apparent in his eyes. “...This place is breathtaking, reef girl…I never knew there would be such place place similar to the forest in the midst of the ocean…”
You watched Neteyam marvel at the beauty of the island, envisioning him in the forest, in his home. You wonder, if not because of the sky demons, would you ever meet Neteyam? Would you cross paths with him in the future, as the Tsahik of the Metkayina and him as the Olo-eyktan of the Omatikaya?
“I’m glad you liked it. I guess this is now OUR secret place.” You turned around, patting the leaves of the plants, making them glow. You can hear Neteyam closing in behind you, his hand snaking into yours.
“Irayo, for showing me a piece of you.”
You shivered at the heat of his breath in your ears, you turned around to meet his gaze, face too close for comfort.
“Come,” You whispered as you pulled him deeper into the island. After a few turn, a small marui came into your vision. It was the small marui you built in the island so you’ll have a place to stay for as long as you want.
You never expected to bring anyone in this place you consider as your most safest place, a place where you can be yourself with no expectations restraining you. You never thought of bringing Tsireya. Pxasik, you never even thought of bringing Ao’nung here, who’s supposed to be the closest person in your heart.
“Sit.” You patted the space beside you in the marui. From this position, both of you can see the beauty of the island with your whole eyes. “Oh, Eywa, It’s so pretty.”
“Yeah, pretty like you.”
You flushed, before bursting out laughing. “Why does it sound so funny?”
Neyetam also looked embarrassed, raising his palms up. “It sounds corny, I know. I’m definitely not as good as Lo’ak in this kind of thing.”
You don’t know what corny means, and Neteyam seems to realize. “It means being too unoriginal with your words,”
Throwing your head back in uncontrollable laughter, Neteyam looked even more embarrassed. He never experienced being this embarrassed before. Perhaps since meeting you, he kept experiencing things for the very first time.
Shaking your head, you mumbled. “It still did its job, so it didn’t really matter if it’s too unoriginal. Only someone like you could pull something like that though.”
Neteyam smiled. This is the first time he was thankful he is good-looking enough. Silence ruled between the two of you, but it didn’t ruin the harmony you have with each other. You didn’t know when you leaned your head on his shoulder, or when his arm wrapped around your waist.
Looking at the bright stars in the sky, you decided to finally ask. “Neteyam?”
“Hmm?”
“Can you teach me your songchord?”
Both of you know what it means. What significance it has to you relationship with each other, and to the people around you. You know that by asking him this, you are asking him and yourself to make a decision that will change the course of your life forever.  It took a few seconds for him to respond, and those seconds felt like eternity to you.
“My songchord is long, you’ll get tired singing it.”
“So is mine. I can sing it, Neteyam. I can.”
You felt him shudder, “Very well then. I’ll sing them to you, only if you sing me yours too.”
In his shoulder, you smiled. Your taut body relaxed into his, and his arm around you tightened. As you were about to speak, both of you heard several voice shouting.
“LO’AK!”
Without hesitation, both of you bolted to your ilu, speeding back to the awa’atlu, fear occupying both of your heart for Lo’ak.

“Where were you last night?” It was the first thing Ronal asked you when you entered her healing marui. She wasn’t looking at you, but you knew she’s watching your every movement. You tried hard not to show anything in your face as you answered.
“I couldn’t sleep so I went to the shore and thought about Eywa’s plans for me.”
You heard Ronal sneer, but thankfully she didn’t press on the topic and moved to another. “What did I tell you that day, girl? What happened to watching Ao’nung?”
You closed your eyes. You knew this would come, and you dreaded it. You wanted so badly to scream, but your rationality held your bearings together. “I tried to stop him, he wouldn’t listen.”
Ronal hissed, but you didn’t raise your head. As much as it frustrates you, you respect the older woman as the Tsahik, the matriarch of the clan. She walked towards you, steps quick. You knew that she's a step away from going after your head. “Then what good are you? If you cannot even demand respect from your future muntxatan? If so, then don’t even think about being a Tsahik!”
“He is no longer a child!” You hissed under your breath, finding this situation ridiculous. “I am his future muntxate, not his mother! He almost killed someone! His decisions are his and his alone. His actions spoke for himself, rather than mine. ”
Ronal looked at you with daggers in her gaze, but you didn’t raise your head and remained respectful in your pose. She stared at you for what felt like hours before she turned around. “Very well. You have learned to speak for yourself, no longer a mute that would bend with the waves.”
You remained silent. You knew she wasn’t praising you, but you can feel that her aura has lightened and she was no longer as furious as she was before. You can see her walk around the marui before stopping in front of you. “Look at me, girl.”
You raised your head and looked at Ronal, afraid that she would see through you, and pick up on your thoughts.
“Take this salve and help my son with his wounds. I’m watching you from now on.”
Holding the jar of salve in your hand, your lips thinned as you walked out of Ronal’s healing marui in quick steps, wanting to be away from the Tsahik’s all knowing eyes. Although against your will, you still walked towards Ao’nung’s marui under the gazes of your clansmen.
Thankfully, Ao’nung was there, resting. Clearly enough, it wasn’t Neteyam that got the worst out of the fight. Simply thinking about it made you smile.
“What are you smiling about? It’s your fault.” Ao’nung grumbled, sitting up.
You set the salve on the flooring and gave him an annoyed glance. “Now you’re blaming me for your terrible personality and horrible decisions. I wasn’t the one who almost killed Lo’ak.”
Ao’nung gave you a look but you didn’t care and simply applied the salve in his wounds.
“Ow, it hurts!”
“Then don’t move, skxawng. It’s your fault anyway. Suffer the consequences of your actions.”
His breath quickened. You knew you shouldn’t have said that. His pride wouldn’t take it so well and you knew it. But you still did, because you know the danger Ao’nung subjected Lo’ak into.
What happened if Lo’ak didn't manage to find his way back? Everyone wouldn’t be in this situation if not for Ao’nung and his friends, who clearly did not have any productive things to do.
“Why are you like this, you’re supposed to be on my side, you know?”
His voice sounded low, genuinely confused. There’s many questions in his eyes you didn’t wanna hear.
Closing the jar of salve, you replied. “I am on your side, Ao’nung. I tried to warn you many times, remember? I even got myself hurt from trying to stop you. You simply refused to listen.”
Ao’nung shook his head. “Liar. You didn’t even defend me from mother! It must be because of that guy!” He sounded so sure that it almost made you laugh in anger.
“Oh Eywa! It seems that there's no use in trying to reason with you. You refuse to listen, and the Tsahik cannot fault me for that.” You stood up to leave, but he held your arm.
“So it’s true! You doing this for him! You didn't even deny it!”
“You almost killed someone, Ao’nung!”
You're at the end of your patience. With force, you took your arm out of Ao’nung’s grip and glared at him. “I do not understand you, Ao’nung. Grow up.”
Without waiting for his response, you walked out of his marui and walked quickly back to your own, heaving in anger.
“Sister? Why are you so angry? What happened?”
You didn't notice when Tsireya appeared on your side, but her mere presence immediately eased some of your anger. You often wonder what Eywa was thinking when she created Tsireya and Ao’nung, so different from each other.
“Ao’nung happened. That's what.” You huffed, earning a sad laugh from Tsireya. She must be pretty shaken up too, knowing how close she is to Lo’ak. She grabbed your hand and held it tightly.
“I apologize for my brother. He’s a knucklehead.”
Knucklehead? “What’s a knucklehead?”
Tsireya giggled as if waiting for you to ask that question. “Lo’ak said it means a stupid person. Ao’nung is a knucklehead.”
With a chuckle, you nodded a few times. “Right. It does fit. He’s a knucklehead.”
Of course it didn't escape your eyes how Tsireya glowed in mere mention of the second sully boy’s name. Most of the anger you felt was gone, so you smiled and decided to prod a bit deeper this time.
“How is he? Is he okay?”
Tsireya sighed. “Thank Eywa, he’s fine. He said he faced an akula. Poor boy,”
“An akula?!” Your anger at Ao’nung came to life again. You cannot wrap it in your head how reckless Ao’nung was in leaving a defenseless boy in the middle of the ocean. Knowing Lo’ak was almost at Eywa’s doorsteps, your blood boiled.
“Ao’nung that skxawng! I’m going to kick him! I’ll take him to apologize again!”
Tsireya pulled you back. “Let them sort it out themselves, tsmuke. Ao’nung is no longer a child. As for Lo’ak, he said something saved him. He didn’t tell me what it was, he said he’ll tell his story tomorrow.”
You looked at Tsireya and sighed. If Lo’ak’s beloved says its okay, then it’s okay. You trust Tsireya. Now that she had almost lost Lo'ak, you wonder if they had made it official. “So, is it official? Lo’ak seems totally interested in you. Even I who’s a bit denser in terms of love, noticed it.”
“Surely, you jest sister?”
Rolling your eyes as you enter your marui, “Do I look like I’m jesting? With your closeness, all you need is to ask Eywa’s blessings.”
Tsireya was quick to reply, “If that is so, then what about you and Neteyam? You must've confessed to each other already, am I right?”
You choked on your saliva. Tsireya said it in a jesting tone, not expecting for you to react this way. You picked up a woven ball and threw it at her, hissing. “What on Eywa are you talking about?!”
Tsireya dodged the ball easily, scooting closer to you and looking at you straight in the eyes. The amusement in her was gone, replaced by seriousness that made you nervous. “Sister, I saw you.”
Your breath hitched as chill crept up your spine. You weren't able to respond, and she doesn't seem to mind as she continues.
“...You look really happy with him. I have never seen you smile like that before.”
It was as if you couldn't breathe. She saw it. She saw you. She saw you with Neteyam. She saw you with an unmated male na’vi in the dead of the eclipse.
Tsireya took your hands into hers, feeling your cold and shivering hands, she whispered. “Do you like him, tsmuke?”
You stood up. You wanted to deny what Tsireya said, but you cannot find your voice as your promise to Neteyam echoes in your ear.
I can sing it, Neteyam. I can.
“...So what if I do? What if I like him?”
“Like who?”
It was Ao’nung who interrupted your conversation, and you felt your breath escaping you.

I awoke bright and early along with the Sully family. 'Teyam and I said goodbye to my mother with her of course not sparing me the kisses. Even Neteyam got smothered in some. This trip was originally supposed to be us two but it quickly turned into a family trip. Was Neteyam happy about that? Nope. Not one bit but he eventually got over it. I on the other hand was excited regardless I never traveled that far before.
Travels like that were only meant for the traders of the clan. “Are you sure you packed everything?” I heard Reya ask as we approached the others by the ikran. “Of course I did! I even packed extra for you.” Lo’ak answered back while giving his ikran a pet. She was tagging along too her mother insisted it was the right thing to do and Lo’ak didn’t want to leave her alone.
“Why do I have the feeling they will be bickering the whole travel?” Neteyam whispered in my ear as we approached his ikran. I chuckled and looked up at him. “ because it’s highly likely that it’s going to happen, but I’m sure if you fly fast enough we won’t hear it.” I winked at him causing him to smirk at me. He leaned down and kissed my lips.
I felt his hand caress my face as he deepened it. “Ma teyam did you drink the tea this morning?” I asked in between kisses. He pulled apart resting his forehead on mine. “Yeah…I did…maybe we should have made this trip sooner.” He said in a worried tone.
I tossed the items my mom requested for me to bring on his ikran and cupped his face. “You'll be fine… if you feel like you need to take a break do it. Don’t push yourself harder than you need to.” He nodded his head placing one last kiss on my lips.
“OK, love birds, are you guys done sucking face so we can fly out?” I heard Jake call out as he finished loading everything up. I heard Neteyam groan pulling away fully reaching to secure the sack I placed on top.
I chuckled and quickly placed my hand on his. gesturing for him to check if the saddle and everything else were secured. I looked over at Kiri as she talked with Spider who sat in front of her. I still have yet to have a proper conversation with him… every time I try to it’s like he avoids me as if I were ill.  I shook my head turning back to the ikran that was staring me down. I gave him a pat on the head only for him to blow air through his nose at me nudging while against my hand. “ you ready for the ride big guy?” His face changed making me raise a brow confused by his reaction, but he quickly licked a long strip on my cheek. I groaned and patted his head.
“Yup-yup, I love you too.” I walked off wiping all the slobber away and shook my head that dude needs to work on expressing his feelings in another way. I climbed on top and sat towards the front in my normal spot. I can’t believe I would be going to the forest…. Let alone meeting his grandmother. I felt his eyes lingering from behind me causing me to look and sure enough he was.
We didn’t have much time and every second we spent here the less time we had to make it there before his rut. “OK, is everyone ready?” I asked shaking the worriedness from my voice. I gestured to 'Teyam to get on and he followed. “All set!” Jake called out. Before I could even reply back I felt 'Teyam wrap his arm around me tightly inching closer to me. “You know the drill hold on tight.” I gripped the leather strap and he took flight.
I gasped feeling the wind rush past my face as the ikran screeched out. No matter how many times I fly with him it never gets old.
Jake took his position leading us in the front while Neteyam followed closely behind. Ever so often I could hear their voices communicating their next move or to ask questions. The technology was all new to me. Neteyam didn’t wear the device often but I guess since we are going to the forest it’s necessary.
I wonder if they use it because you can’t hear anyone when flying and it’s not like us, the Metkayina, where we have sign language….
My mind was filled with so many questions. Sure I’ve wondered how different clans lived their life but it just dawned upon me that the Omaticaya use many forms of human technology…
My mind was like this for hours new thoughts popped in. Questioning many different things it wasn’t until I felt a drastic shift in our direction that I realized we were making our first stop.
He landed the ikran and got off. Holding a hand out to assist me, I smiled and thanked him with a kiss causing him to smirk.
“Gosh, I have to pee!” I hear Reya say as she practically runs off somewhere. I chuckled and looked over to Kiri and Spider. I locked eyes with Spider and I saw nothing but fear in his eyes. Even though I was waving and smiling at the pair. I bit my lip and turned back to Neteyam who was looking at me with a confused face.
“What's wrong?” He asked I shook my head reaching for the snack bag and pulling out some dried fish. “It's nothing.” I looked up and smiled at him only for him to caress my cheek. He leaned down moving closer to my lips, when I suddenly I heard a crunch. I opened my eyes to find this man chewing on my damn fish.
“You little-“ he abruptly kissed my lips and started running away. “ I’m gonna get you once we get to the forest, you fish thief!” I yelled out. I huffed and ate the remains fish in my hand and walked over to Lo’ak who was stretching his legs out.
“How was the ride so far?” I asked he scoffed and smirked. “ I’m sure you can guess what it was like Luaewe.” I chuckled and shook my head.
“Well, it’s almost eclipse she will go to sleep soon, and the crankiness will wear off.” He smiled slightly and looked away for a short moment. “ I don’t suppose you have something that will help with nausea?” I smiled and patted his shoulder.
“And who would I be if I wasn’t prepared for everyone? Come I’ll give you a couple of things to give her.” He let out a sigh of relief and quickly walked over with me.
I undid the knot on the satchel that held all my medicine and took out some candy I made. “These should help.” He raised a brow. “You sure, because it just looks like candy to me.”
I chuckled. “It is candy, I made it. I figured we wouldn’t have time to sit and brew tea and all that extra stuff…well you guys might but Neteyam and I don’t.”
He hummed.” You know that’s a really smart idea. I never seen something like this.” I smiled and thanked him. He looked off again and scratched the back of his head causing me to raise my brow.
Is there something else wrong? Why is he acting like this? Normally he’s cracking jokes or goofing around or something. “OK, what's going on? This.” I moved my hands in a circular motion. “ is making me worried.”
“ I- shit…. You know this is really awkward to talk about especially considering you’re my brother's mate and now my sister...” I huffed and placed my hands on my hips.  What the hell is he trying to say? And why is it so hard? “Lo'ak?” He looked at me directly. “ Just say it.”
I chuckled, causing him to smile. “How did you know you were in love… what did it feel like?” I blinked slowly, completely stunned by the question.
“Wow ok, I wasn’t expecting that um…. Well ha….At first, I was extremely conflicted due to some stuff that happened in my past… I don’t think there was a specific incident that made me love him, it was really everything combined. Like sure when you like someone you feel a pull or whatever but every second I wasn’t with him felt emptiness… when he held me even at the most awkward times.” I chuckled and looked off into the distance. “ It's like this warmth engulfed me and I’m not talking about body heat. I could literally feel his love. I don’t know, it's hard to explain but when you know you know.”
I looked back at him only to find him in a transfixed state. As if he were thinking really hard. It wasn’t until Reya called out to him that he snapped out of it. We don’t have deep conversations together but I could tell he was going through something.
I felt arms wrap around me from the back and I smiled leaning into his chest. He placed a kiss on my forehead and hummed. “ Where did you run off to fish stealer?” He looked down and chuckled.
“ I had to handle some business before we headed back out.” I raised a brow in confusion. I mean if he had to use the bathroom he could of ju- ooooooooh. I turned around and he tilted his head.
“ Why didn’t you ask? I would've helped.” I said lowly. He smiled and gently grazed his thumb against my cheek. “Ma orae if I did that I definitely would have not been able to hold back and would have pushed myself into an early rut.” I pouted but accepted his words. That’s the last thing either of us want. “You're right.....well, did you at least get the satisfaction you needed?” He laughed out and gently ran his hands up and down my back only for him to firmly grasp my ass making me gasp out in shock. “‘'Teyam, your family is right there!” I whispered, yelled, looking around quickly to make sure no one was watching
He lowered his face to my ear and playfully nipped it.“Shh, it's not like they would notice.” Of course they would you’re literally gripping my ass in broad daylight gosh I hope Tuk isn’t looking over here!
“It was enough, but I would have preferred that tight little pussy you have.” I playfully swatted his arm causing him to chuckle moving his head away. “You can be touchy all you want but you better keep that mouth in check!” I pointed my finger at him and furrowed my brows.
“OK, I’ll keep it in check. Wouldn’t want to accidentally turn you on, or we would be stuck here for days and I probably would end up with a broken arm again.”
Too late for that ‘'Teyam, and I’m sure he can tell because that damn smirk on his face is staying put. He leaned down kissing my lips. I felt his hands starting to grope my ass as he tried to deepen the kiss. I pulled away quickly and pushed his chest away. He looked at me as if I had betrayed him but quickly came back to his senses. “Shit, I’m sorry.” He pulled back fully and let out a frustrated sigh.
I shook my head and gave his arm a squeeze. “It's okay, that’s why I’m here to keep you in check.” I said trying to lighten the mood, he let out a soft chuckle and nodded his head. “We should head back out. I’m not sure if everyone else is ready but we gotta go.” He said while looking around.
He pressed his fingers on the device and spoke. “Me and Luaewe are gonna head out first.”  I watched as Jake popped his head up from whatever he was doing. “OK, we will meet at the third stop.”
I reached back into the back and took out another piece of dried fish. I was just standing there watching them both communicate but I had no clue what they were saying. I felt Neteyam’s hand graze my lower back.
I turn away from the bag making sure to close it and look up while taking a bite of the fish. He chuckled and leaned down. I instinctively moved away having a feeling he would take another bite from me but he held me in place and kissed my forehead.
“Come on, my pretty girl it’s time to go.” Heat suddenly rose to my face causing me to look away. But I quickly grabbed the saddle and hopped up. He positioned himself behind me swiftly connecting his kuru. He wrapped his arm around my midsection and before I knew it we were off in the air again.
I have no clue when the next stop will be maybe hours from now well into Eclipse. I bit my lip feeling him reposition himself behind me as we leveled out in the air. Gosh, this was going to be a difficult ride. I mean I knew it was but shit his fucking dick is pressed up against my ass and it’s taking everything in me not to reach back and grab it.
But the last thing I want is for us to crash into the ocean……this is gonna be a long trip.
-
“OK, we will camp here for tonight leave out early morning and meet up with everyone at the third stop.” I hum as he helps me back off the ikran.
“How many more stops till we get there?” He walked over to the bags and took some off. “maybe two more, it all depends on the weather really.”
I smile and fold my hands together. That’s awesome we’ll I’m sure the weather won-“ the sound of thunder crashed interrupting me. “Well shit.” He chuckled as I looked up to see if there were any rain clouds.
I quickly walked over to him and took some of the bags. “Will those be alright in the rain I’m not sure how your material holds up?” We moved under a tree and set everything down. “Yeah, it's made out of leather and we waterproofed it…. It would be ideal if we found a cave if it’s going to rain but we will have to make do with this tree.” He said fiddling with something in the bags. I tried to help but he told me to just sit so I did.
If I knew one thing about Neteyam it’s that if he tells you he’s got it and doesn’t need help he doesn’t. Well until you hear cursing or a loud noise. I watched as he strung up the material that would keep us dry.
I shook my head subtly walking back over to him and went into the bag taking out the blanket we would sleep on. I heard his playful scoff from behind me and I smiled. He should have known I wouldn’t stay put. I jolted up feeling a sudden wetness on my back. “Looks like we landed just in time.” He said while quietly moving the other bags under the material. I hummed and sat down watching the rain hit the sand. “ I should have known not to jinx the weather.” I lightly chuckle as I feel him pull me closer and wrap his arms around my waist.
“It's fine, at least we get to enjoy the rain together…. You know I just realized this is the first time since mating  we will sleep alone.” I smiled and rested my head against his chest.
“You're right… it’s weird not having Tuk trying to infiltrate our cuddle time or my mom waking us up.” I shook my head. I’ll never forget the day when Neteyam and I were about to have our afternoon nap. Anyone walking by would think we were about to have sex with how intense we kiss before we sleep.
But that didn’t matter to Tuk. She ran into our area and jumped on us complaining how it was unfair we didn’t spend time with her as much as we do with each other.
“Mhm, we are finally alone. Maybe when we get back our marui will be finished hopefully not though. It’s my duty- well back in my clan once mated the male or one who initiated creates the hammock or   marui as you guys call it.”
I raised a brow confused do they not sleep in marui’s like us. “ wait so how do you guys sleep?”
“ in hammocks. There are individual ones, then ones for couples, and lastly the family ones but after moving to the mountains because of the war… we had to set up tents you can still sleep in the hammocks inside or sleep on the floor…. It’s kinda complicated you’ll see when we get there.” I hummed and moved forward reaching for some fruit.
“ I’m excited especially since you guys really talk up the forest.” He chuckled while placing a kiss on top of my head.
“ because it deserves to be talked up!” He held his hand out and I placed some of the fruit in his hand willingly. “ you think Sa'nok will make some porridge for me?” He let out a laugh and I looked up with a serious face. “ I’m serious! You said it was better so now that I’ll be there I can’t leave without tasting it!”
“You'll get your porridge don’t worry… and the other delicious foods,” I closed my eyes and hummed. That’s another thing I had no clue about. The types of food they ate…
I felt his face dip against my neck lightly nipping at my skin. “Why do you have to smell so good ma Orae?” He grunted against me. I bit my lip feeling his dick press against my back. “ I don’t know why this time around is so hard for me but shit!” I felt him squeeze my hips trying to lift me up but continued to restrain himself.
“Let me help you-“ I said trying to turn around he lowly hissed warning me to stay put. “Luaewe, you know we can’t.” He strained.
“But it’s hurting you! I can’t stand seeing you this way, 'Teyam. You don’t have to put it in. I can jerk you off or you can put it in between my legs.”
He nipped my neck again as his hand slid around to the front forcefully cupping my pussy. My breath shuddered at his fingers grazing my clothed clit.
He let out a deep chuckle against the back of my neck but cursed as I touched his thigh. I was still wet from earlier. It’s probably what’s driving him to behave like this. Gosh, I feel so bad! And the fact that I can’t even help. “My hand isn’t even fully touching your pussy and I can feel how wet it is.”
He playfully tapped against my clit causing me to jolt back in surprise. “What I would do to be inside you right now… feeling that tight hole squeeze me as I fill you up with my cum.”  I let out a whimper as he continued to speak in my ear.
Fuck I don’t remember him talking this dirty before. I let a moan slip from my mouth and I could feel him smirk against me. “But this will have to do. Lay down for me sweetie.” He patted my thighs letting me know what he decided and I followed his instructions.
I laid down on my side with my thighs pressed together looking back waiting for him to move closer to me. He looked at my ass hungrily grabbing it with his hand. Even with hands as big as his some of it flowed out between his fingers.
He chuckled lowly moving his hands up my hips speedily undoing my tweng. His chest pressed up against my back causing me to lean into him. He dipped his face back into the crevice of my neck and let out a deep growl. “You smell so good.” His fingers found their way to my folds massaging my entrance. I let out an airy moan reaching back to hold his forearm. “So wet for me. Fuck I just want to be in you!”
You and me both! “Please?” I let go of his arm reaching back further for his cock that was pressed between my ass. “ I don’t want your fingers. Put it between my legs ''Teyam.” I gave up trying not to sound desperate right now. I wanted my mate and I couldn’t even have him the way I wanted.
He moaned as I gripped the base of his cock as I lifted my leg up slightly. “mmmm.” I bit back my moan as I rolled my hips back into him. Setting him in place nestled snugly between my folds.  He forcefully grabbed my face detaching his lips from my now abused neck and latching them onto my lips.
He started moving slowly at first. Almost antagonizingly slow. Even in his horny pre-rut filled brain he still had it in him to torture me. But that all came to an end very quickly. His hand caressed my body spending extra time on my breast. When suddenly he sped up out of nowhere causing me to jolt forward with the increase in stimulation.
“ ssshit!” I moaned out while gripping his arm once again as he pulled me back holding me still. “I’m not even in you and you’re running?” He scoffed “How is my mate supposed to tend to me when she can’t even take my cock rubbing up against their tight little pussy huh?”
He lowered his hand to my clit rubbing it ferociously. I gasped, feeling an orgasm fast approaching but he switched up the pace on purpose. “Please please please please please-“ I choked out begging for him to make me cum but he refused. He pulled his hand away gripping my breast again.
“Fuck, I love these! And your fucking ass. I wonder how big they’ll get when you swell with my child.”  It’s just his pre-rut talking. It’s just his pre-rut talking. I chanted to myself trying to rationalize his words. He leaned down kissing me once again quickly deepening it. “Please let me cum.” I begged against his lips.
He smirked moving to my ear. “You wanna cum? Yet my cock isn’t in you? You think I’ll let you do that?” I whined getting frustrated with this game! “All you have to do is-“
“Just fuck me already damn it!”  I shouted out fed up with all this teasing and non fucking. Maybe I’m out of my mind maybe I’m just fucking horny but if he cheats me out of another orgasm I will lose it!
I felt him smirk pulling back slightly and slowly pushing into me. “Yes yes yes yes!” I chanted as the swell of his cock stretched me. His lustful moans filled my ears as he settled deeply into me. I gasped, feeling our Kuru’s connection. I didn’t even feel him touch mine.
He moved slowly trying not to hurt me but he could tell I was fine and quickly picked up pace. The sounds of our skin hitting and the sound of my squelching pussy overpowered the downpour that was upon us. Thank Eywa we were alone or else this would be an embarrassing thing to happen with everyone there.  Though his speed picked up his strokes were deep and with the curve of his cock it almost felt like it was intentional.
“T- 'Teyam, you're too deep!”  His hand went back to my breast rolling my nipple in between his fingertips. I moaned out arching my back from the new stimulation. He chuckled sinisterly knowing exactly what he was doing.
“You're mine.” He nipped my ear with his teeth “If your breasts are this sensitive now just imagine what they’d feel like full of milk.” His stroke grew deeper, more aggressive. I cried out feeling him grow larger. How is that even possible? “Fuck ‘'Teyam please you’re too-“
He growled tightening his hold on me refusing to let go. “ I’m gonna fucking breed you! I’m gonna get you pregnant muntxate.” My pussy clenched vigorously around him causing him to chuckle. “You like that huh? You like when I say I’m gonna get you pregnant hm?”
His hand moved to my belly causing me to gasp. “ I’m gonna love watching you waddle around the village parading that round belly. Having it be a physical example of what I did to you.”  He said while caressing my belly as if a bump were already there
He bit down onto my shoulder pushing me right over the edge. He held me tight as a scream of pure pleasure ripped through my throat. My body convulsed from how intense the orgasm hit me. But despite how forceful it was he continued to rut into me as his knot began to swell. I couldn't help but get turned on even more. Knowing the risk of us already performing tsaheylu. If he were to knot me, I would for sure get pregnant.
He bit down harder as his cock twitched inside of me spurting his hot cum against my cervix. I can only imagine what it feels like to be stuffed with his knot.
I reached placing my hand on his thigh and rubbing it as he came down from his high. His soft lips peppered my neck with kisses causing me to smile. “Fuck.” He breathed out, “I- I'm sorry, my love…… I got carried away shit.” I shook my head while attempting to look back.
“It's okay, you're alright right?”
“Mhm,” he said lowly while dipping his face in my neck still trying to calm his breathing.  I reached back brushing the braids out of his face. “Then everything is fine and you feel relieved no?” He nodded his head and I smiled.
“Then there’s no need to worry ‘'Teyam.”I tried to pull away to fully check out his arm but instead, he tightened his hold around my waist. I chuckled while tapping his hand.
“Alright big guy, let me go I need to properly check your arm.” He groaned and I couldn’t help but let out a little laugh at his antics.  But my laughter was quickly replaced by a shudder of my breath as he pulled out of me causing the cum to rush out of me.
“Gosh!” It felt almost erotic feeling the warmth of his seed run out of me and onto my inner thigh. I looked back to see his glistening cock slowly relax and knot fully deflate. I sat up with him following suit and reached for his arm.
Unlike Ronal, I wouldn’t be able to tell the healing status when most of it had healed already but I can’t tell if it’s broken. I felt around for anything out of place and listened to him for any small sounds to slip from him. But there was nothing everything was fine. I looked up and smiled while letting his arm down, “Nothing is broken.” I said softly
He reached up to caress my face and pulled me in for a kiss. “Thank you.” I giggled against his lips and patted his thigh.
“It’s my duty.” I squealed as he pulled me into his lap and laid down. “ ‘Teyam! We have to wash up.” I whined only for him to shush me.
I let out a groan and laid my head on his chest accepting defeat. His cum is gonna get all crusty! “You're gonna be the one scrubbing your cum off of me!” Laughter erupted from his chest
He cupped my ass while sitting back up. Good because I didn’t want to deal with that in the morning. “You just won’t let me enjoy my muntxate huh?” He said while standing up still holding onto me.
“You must want a crusted-up muntxate then if you thought I would just let you let me lay there! Skin as smooth as mine takes care!” He shook his head playfully and scoffed.
I felt him playfully tap my ass, “alright, let's make it quick then”. He looked out from under the material keeping us dry and hummed. “It looks like the rain slowed down but we should still make it quick.
“Are you gonna put me down?” I asked while tilting my head he smirked. “No, this is payment for not letting me lay down with you.” I groaned playfully but I enjoyed it when he carried me. To him, I practically weighed nothing. I leaned that quickly from how many times he scooped me up and placed me in his lap.
I smiled and shook my head as I pushed my face into his neck. “Nga yawne lu oer“
“ I love you too,” he says.  I tried to shove my face deeper and he chuckled. The rest of the night was spent with us bathing and playing around in the water longer than we should have but we eventually got out and went back to ‘camp’ as Neteyam called it.
I was cuddled up against his warm chest with his arms wrapped around me. I listened to his heartbeat while the sounds of light rainfall could be heard in the back. I gasped while closing my eyes feeling the connection of our kurus.
His hand grazed my back as he placed a kiss on my forehead. “Sleep Ma Oare, I’m not going anywhere.”  He said in a low tired voice. I continued to listen as the sound of his heart beating turned into a trance….

Let's Talk About: The Problem With People Sexualizing Male Characters Who Are Minors
I see nobody talking about this, but this is an actual disgusting problem.
Sexualizing minors is absolutely fowl no matter the gender, but I wanna focus on this because I see this a lot on this app specifically. Especially from adult females who write character x reader or character x oc stuff.
The fandoms this mostly happens in is the My Hero Academia fandom, the Avatar fandom specifically from The Way of The Water, and the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom. There are way more but I wanna focus on these three.
The characters I wanna focus on are Bakugo Katsuki, Izuku Midoryia, Shoto Todoroki, Megumi Fushigoro, Yuuta Okkotsu, Lo'ak, and Neteyam.
These characters are all seventeen, fifteen, and/or sixteen years old, so why are people writing porn about them?
People will use the excuse that 'oh, I age them up so it's not an issue." That's actually a huge issue, that you need to age up a literal child just to write porn about them.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
If you don't think it's okay for men to do it to underage girls, which it isn't, then why do it for underage boy characters?
Don't age up a character just to write porn about them because that is actually nasty as hell.
And hey, just letting you know I will remind you that the porn you're writing is about an actual child if I see those types of posts.
There are many adult male characters to write porn about, I see it all the time, it's not that hard to not write smut about a minor!

hey! i just want to thank you for making "𝓗𝗈𝗆𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖺𝗋𝗆𝗌", although you didn't like it i found it absolutely perfect you exceeded my expectations 💗
awe i'm so happy to hear that! i'm actually gonna use this post to set some guidelines for requesting just cuz i don't wanna leave the post moderately empty with just words of my gratitude towards this wonderful anon and their lovely request (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚
Tumblr media
𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘ guidelines (not mandatory but they help)
𔓘┊ 𝓟𝗅𝗈𝗍: the more specific you are with the plot, the easier it is for me to bring your vision to life. don't be shy tell me everything!
𔓘┊ 𝓜𝖺𝗂𝗇 𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗋𝖺𝖼𝗍𝖾𝗋: especially let me know what kind of personality and attributes you want yn to have. i really really really don't want to accidentally make her feel totally off or unrelatable for you as the requester,, so all i really need to know is a main personality trait of hers, her occupation in the clan and what hairstyle she primarily sports (braids, straight hair). don't worry though, i won't make her so individualized that she becomes an oc, since my goal is to make my content as immersive as possible for everyone.
𔓘┊ 𝓕𝗈𝗋𝗆𝖺𝗍: if u want ur request in the form of a oneshot, drabble, headcannons or anything else ensure that you specify.
𔓘┊ 𝓖𝖾𝗇𝗋𝖾: fluff, angst to fluff, fluff to angst, angst no comfort, etc, lmk what u expect from my writing!
𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘ things you should know
𔓘┊𝓢𝗉𝖾𝖼𝗂𝖾𝗌 𝗈𝖿 𝗒𝗇: i mainly write for avatar so yn is usually na'vi; omaticaya, metkayina or other. but i am willing to write yn as a human or avatar :p
𔓘┊𝓒𝗁𝖺𝗋𝖺𝖼𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗌 𝗂 𝗐𝗋𝗂𝗍𝖾 𝖿𝗈𝗋: plsplspls feel free to request other characters like ao'nung, roxto, lo'ak, or even spider! your wish is quite literally my command, i don't just write for neteyam!! not sure if i'm ready to write for jake or any adults yet, though. maybe when i get older or something.
𔓘┊𝓜𝗂𝗌𝖼𝖾𝗅𝗅𝖺𝗇𝖾𝗈𝗎𝗌: i primarily write for avatar, yes, but if you want to request a miles morales x reader fic on a whim i'm down for that. as long as i’m familiar with the fandom or character, i’ll write for them no problem. it can be the nichest hyperfixation you’ve ever had, like,, fifth officer lowe from titanic, jim hawkins, joey donner—bro i'll do it.
𔓘┊𝓐𝖻𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗆𝖾: i’m a pretty religious girl and i deeply value my relationship with god, so i won’t write any spiritistic themes, gore or same-sex fics. i also mainly write with female readers in mind, so i won’t do romantic fics with female characters—only platonic. i’m not here to condemn anyone who enjoys or writes that kind of content that's just a personal boundary for me. i respect everyone’s choices, and i simply ask for the same respect in return. i’m not forcing my beliefs on anyone here nor will i ever, live your life freely, but this is what i feel comfortable with and hope you can understand ૮꒰◞ ˕ ◟ ྀི꒱ა.
𔓘┊𝓢𝗂𝗆𝗂𝗅𝖺𝗋 𝗋𝖾𝗊𝗎𝖾𝗌𝗍𝗌: if your request feels too similar to something i’ve already written, i’ll direct you to that fic instead of trying to rewrite it. i just want to keep things fresh and exciting as possible.
𔓘┊𝓣𝗂𝗆𝗂𝗇𝗀: you can send requests whenever you feel like it, there's no specific time where they're open or closed they're always open. if you requested something that doesn't go against my blog rules and i haven't replied after a long period of time i promise i'm not ignoring you!! if i can't write a request for whatever reason i'll say so, so if you're waiting a long time don't assume i'm not doing.

𔓘┊ 𝓝𝗈 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝗈𝗋 𝖾𝗑𝗉𝗅𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗍 𝗋𝖾𝗊𝗎𝖾𝗌𝗍𝗌: domestic abuse, assault, stalking, smut, or any similar themes are not topics i’m comfortable writing about. anything else that's distressing or whatever i just won't do. this is a sfw blog so don't waste ur time requesting something inappropriate ദ്ദി˙-˙ ).
𔓘┊𝓝𝗈 𝗈𝖼'𝗌: i won’t be writing for original characters because i want my fics to relate to as wide a group as possible!

In the trees and caves of the Floating Mountains of Pandora, the home of the Omyatica rested there, watching and fending off other tribes from their lands.
The leader of them all, the Ole'tekyan, Toruk Makto, Jake Sully, held to a higher esteem because of his triumphs over the sky demons after they took Home Tree. He walked through his village, looking for his eldest son, his heir, Neteyam, he was to be the next Ole'tekyan of Omyatica.
Jake found his son on the highest peak of the Mountains, sitting there, meditating.
"My son, what of your duties?"
"I finished morning duties a few hours ago, and thought I'd stay for a while." Neteyam didn't open his eyes as he replied, but he did when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I just needed to clear my head. All I see is the water from before," Neteyam said as he looked away from his father's eyes as he sat down next to his son.
"It's okay, I just came to ask if you knew what your mother was planning on telling you later about the council's decision." Jake had questioned, even though he knew, he wanted to know if his other son, Lo'ak, who had eavesdropped on the whole ruling, had told the person the proceedings were about what had happened.
"No, Lo'ak said he knew, but I flew away before he said anything else," Neteyam responded.
"Well, don't tell your mother, but as you know it was about you and who would be your mate, but also about the tribe to the east of our land. They have been restless with the return of the Sky People and want to ensure safety," Jake tells as he looks ahead of him to the view his son has been enjoying for hours.
"Alright, what are we to do then?" Neteyam asks, glancing in the direction of his father.
"There is talk of an alliance with them in case it comes to war and to settle the rising tensions of the clan in the east," Jake says, meeting his son's eyes.
Neteyam just nods before feeling his father stand, "Come your mother did send me to you for a reason. She has called the family for dinner."
Neteyam stands up next to his father and calls from his ikran, which has never gone far from him since the accident.
The duo flies back down and goes to the Sully family hut, which is further away from the rest of the huts and village for added privacy of the Ole'tekyan and his family.
The two come through the door as the rest of Neteyam's siblings come out of their rooms within the hut, well beside Kiri as she sits next to their mother helping.
Neteyam sits next to his mother with no words as Jake gives his son a betrayed look before Kiri moves to her normal place around the fire, and Jake takes the spot she vacated.
"Your father tell you of the council meeting?" His mother was never one to 'beat around the bush' as his father had said many times, a phrase in English that was one only his father used.
"Only parts about the neighboring eastern tribe," Neteyam tells, leaving the rest because he wasn't really told what his fate in mating was.
"Good, but you do know of the other matter discussed by the council, yes?" Neytiri questioned her eldest.
"Not much, just that it's a real possibility that I will not choose my mate," Neteyam while not happy about being able to choose his own mate, never really thought of any other way, mainly because there was no one in the village he liked, he knew them all to degree and none felt right to him, he had his pick of anyone, but none never appealed.
"Well at least your father hasn't told you then," Neytiri said before turning to your son. "The council has decided to further talk about it tomorrow, but there is a great chance that you will be mating with the eastern tribe to form the alliance with them, as I told, the council is meeting further before meeting with the eastern tribe's council and Ole'tekan."
Of course, his mother didn't wait until after the meal to tell her son of the impending mating that was a real possibility to better the tribe, and its relations.

Mayu ran through the trees of her village, happy to hear her father was home from his long trip with the council to discuss an alliance with the tribe to the west, the Omyatica.
The people greeted her and, she greeted back, some even laughed at her antics as she was the only girl of her father and the youngest of her five, four older brothers, this happened whenever she found something new on her adventures or when her father and brothers came back from a long trip or hunt.
She made it to her family's hut in the center of the village and ran to inside to her father, jumping on his back as she did.
"Father, you are back. I found something on my adventures yesterday, you must see!!" Mayu was an excited person there was never not a time when she didn't have a smile on her face.
Well, there was that one time...
Her father laughed as she ran to her partitioned room and grabbed whatever it was she found the day before.
"I went exploring the water's edge, you know the place between the glacier and the sea, and I found this," She pulled out a necklace that was crafted of shells and beads, but she specifically pointed to the the center of the necklace, a larger shell that seemed to be from the warmer waters and not the relatively colder waters of the edge.
"It must have traveled a great deal; it looks like it's from the Metkayina tribe of the southern waters, the reef people," Her father admired the shell she found. He entertained her little adventures while she was scolded by her mother for wandering from the village.
It wasn't like she had many duties to do. She wasn't the eldest child of her father, she wasn't going to be Ole'tekyan or Tsaik, and her eldest brother had a mate who was learning from her mother and aunt.
Mayu always knew her fate.
She would either find a mate on her adventures or be betrothed to some other member of her tribe when her father and mother finally agreed on a man and her father was ready for her to leave.
"Ma Reyon, you must tell her the wonderful news." Her mother's voice interrupted the musing of father and daughter.
"I will Ma Chise, after Mayu finishes telling what she intends the necklace for," Her father was never one to not listen to her mother, but he hadn't seen his daughter in days, and what was she to be told would draw his only daughter away from him.
"It's okay, Sempul, I can tell you later, I want to hear about your trip." Mayu was also a kind soul who never knew when to stop caring for others.
"No, what is the necklace for, then I will tell you of my own adventure." Reyon was to excited to see his daughter and hear her story to tell her of what transpired on his council trip to the Omyatika.
Mayu, while disappointed to not learn of his adventure, perked up at the reason behind her necklace and about the promise of hearing of her father's adventures.
"I was going to give it to my mate, whether you and Sa'nok choose him or not," Mayu told not catching the look that her mother gave her father over her shoulder.
Before her father could get a word out about his adventures, his five four sons came through the door, and Mayu quietly went to her room to put away her necklace, before her brothers could see it.
Her brothers were way too overprotective in her eyes, not her father's. Of course, he was just as bad sometimes, most times.
Her brothers never wanted to hear anything about their baby sister mating or betrothed, for the simple fact that no one was good enough for her or her heart.
Baby is a term used loosely, she's almost twenty and two cycles old, but again, it's hard to convince her brothers and father of this.
"Rayon!" Her mother says, exasperated at what was happening, she knew what must be said and that it must be told to, at least, her daughter now, or it would never get told until later, meaning the day before it was to happen. "Now!"
Rayon's head fell as he knew what must be done, he gathered his family and told them to sit, everyone sat around the fire as their mother passed out the food she was making.
Her brothers to the left of her mother, her father to the right, with her to her father's right, but she was not next to her closest brother, there was a place between the two.
Both Mayu and her mother looked at the spot too long and almost broke down in tears.
"There is something I must tell you, Mayu; it is about your betrothals. One has been found." Rayon tried not to let his eyes water as his sons were silenced with the raise of a hand from their mother.
"He isn't from the village or the people, he is the next Ole'tekyan of the Omyatica. He is a good man, Toruk Makto's son. The ceremony is to be held in one moon's cycle." Her father says, just get it out there, not beating around the bush, knowing it would be better in the end.
Mayu has no words for her father, and while the rest of her family waits for a response, even her once-protesting brothers are waiting for her to speak first before saying anything.
But a word never comes from her mouth as she stands and goes to her sectioned-off space in the hut.
Afterward, no one made a sound, not having the heart to speak after Mayu left for her mat, they ate their meal in silence, and nothing but the sound of breathing and the sound of chewing from the bites taken could be heard anywhere in the hut.
Mayu returned just moments before everyone was done.
"Can we still be part of the mating? We've had everything ready for months. After he had that dream that you didn't believe." Mayu's voice was quiet as she voiced her question.
Rayon just nodded at his daughter as her mother wrapped her arm around the girl's shoulders, giving her the pouch of food she left earlier.
Mayu took it and her brothers, who could eat a whole parkle to themselves each, took more and moved to other, lighter topics than what was previously being discussed.
Maka, her eldest brother, tried to push Koa, the youngest elder brother, into the fire with the help of No'ak, the third oldest, the one before Koa, as Testey, the second eldest, just watched the three laughing.
Tumblr media
Mayu stood in the doorway of her family home, grabbing the last of her stuff, she walked to the closed-off space next to her's, and she walks in, grabbed a few things that she wanted, and walked back out to the entrance looking back once again, a single tear falling down her cheek as she turns her back and walks to her ikran, which is near her family.
Her brothers Koa and No'ak going with her on her journey to the Omatikaya and will stay with her until the ceremony, when the elders, important members of her tribe, and the rest of her family come to watch as well.
The three set off after tears were shed by her mother and a final hug from her father. The three flew off towards the Omatikaya lands, crossing the border with a few more ikrans with Omatikaya people joining as they cross the border.
The three are shown the way to two pods, one for Mayu and the other for her two brothers.
Mayu stands just inside her pod as her stuff is brought into the pod by two of the four people who flew them to the base of the Omatikaya people.
"Thank you," Mayu whispers as the two leave.
With no mother or family to make her cry more and no people to see her cry, Mayu lets out a few tears and whimpers.
She quickly wipes them away when a knock is delivered to the side of the doorway, which she covered after all of her stuff was brought in.
With a quick "Come in," the person at the door entered the pod. Mayu turned to see who it was and found her brothers with five unknown people in tow.
"Mayu, this is Toruk Makto, Jake Suli, his mate Neytiri, and two of their children, also the Tsahik of the Omatikaya." No'ak introduces as he points to each person as he says, with Koa watching his little sister's expressions.
Mayu doesn't know what to say, so she just delivers a small wave to the five. Realizing she has to say something, she whispers a small "Hello."
Jake just smiled at the girl as he also just waved, the same with his daughter. The son and mother kept quiet, though, as the Tsahik walked closer to her and didn't say anything.
She pokes her with the small dagger that was hidden in her head peace, Mayu's brothers became alert for their sister, but Mayu held up her hand to the two, knowing the common practice as she studied under her mother even if it was of no use to her then.
The Tsahik looks to the other four and gives a nod before leaving the way she came, stopping once at the door to say, "I will return later to help prepare the pre-ceremony rituals of the Omatikaya."
Mayu gave the woman a nod of understanding before turning her attention back to the others.
"I was wondering if it would be okay to go to your spirit tree. I must ask the advice of Eywa, Ryuu, and Kani," Her question may have seemed outlandish to the four Omatikaya because their eyes widened in surprise.
Jake recovered first and responded with, "Of course, it is now your spirit tree. Lo'ak will take you."
Jake gave his son a pointed look as Lo'ak beckoned the girl who was to mate with his brother a gesture of follow.
The others left the pod not long after Lo'ak and Mayu left; both got on their ikran, and Mayu followed Lo'ak to the spirit tree of the Omatikaya.
"This must be new to you?" Lo'ak tried to make conversation on the short ride over to the tree.
"No, not really. I always knew I would be here. Well, not here with the Omatikaya, but away from my home," Mayu's response quieted Lo'ak for just a minute.
"Who are Ryuu and Kani?" Lo'ak asked her, as he descended to the clearing around the spirit tree.
"Ryuu was my former betrothed and friend, while Kani is my brother," Mayu said both names with a hint of sadness to them.
Lo'ak looked at her and nodded, "I will stand here while you talk to them. I really can't get in trouble, I was in enough before you got here."
Mayu chuckled at the end of Lo'ak's statement, "Kani would've liked you, and No'ak will too."
"No'ak?"
"Yes, the older of my two brothers that came with me." Lo'ak nodded his head at her statement as she then walked the path to the tree.

After the earlier mishap, I finished it as it was mostly done. The other Avatar series I wanted to start will be up hopefully tomorrow or within the next 24ish hours. Also, I'm not that happy about the ending, but, I mean, I don't think I could do much better without going into what I have planned for the next part.

Kato was the oldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal.
She was their pride and joy; she was to be the next Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina clan. The First Female Olo'eyktan.
But Kato couldn't become Olo'eyktan until she had a mate, her parents had tried to push other males and females her way, but she didn't like them.
She felt as if she needed to wait for someone, so she waited, and her parents understood.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Jake Sully and his family arrived, Kato had showed the childern their ways of the water, she had gotten very close to Lo'ak.
She had jokling told Lo'ak and her siblings that Lo'ak was her son and Lo'ak didn't mind since he had been attention starved and touch starved, something that Kato didn't miss.
When Kato found out that Lo'ak had bonded with Payakan, she had instantly standed up against her father and mother, saying how Lo'ak had every right to bond with any animal since Kato herself had given him permission to bond.
Tonowari and Ronal sighed, if their daughter had given Lo'ak permission it was something not to go against.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they had gone to war against the sky people, the fake na'vis had surived and it was deemed by Kato they were to be given a chance.
Neytiri had hissed at Kato, Ronal had instantly stood infront of her daughter and crouched down slighting and hissed at Neytiri, "My daughter is the future Olo'eyktan, she had taken in your son, and has told me to give you a chance, she has fought in your war, a war you brought to my home! Have some respect!"
Neytiri didn't say anything else knowing Ronal was right, "Jake Sully had a second chance, and you do not give this boy Spider nor the sky na'vis a second chance?" Kato had slowly moved her mother behind her and stood in front of her as she looked at Neytiri and Jake, "Both of you should be ashamed, you both had a second chance and now you don't want to give them one? Your daughter," Kato pointed at Kiri, "Is from a sky person, you Jake Sully, are a sky person, and Spider is a sky person, and has not been given a chance?"
Jake and Neytiri didn't say anything, Kato was right, Jake had a second chance, Kiri was from Grace a human.
It wasn't fair but it was fight they would lose.
Kato and her parents came to an agreement to wait for the sky na'vis to wake up to see if they deserved a second chance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Prager, Z-Dog, Walker, Ja and Fike woke up there were in some grass home with seaweed wrapped around their wrists and to a pole.
They had pulled and bit on the seaweed trying to see if they would rip but it didn't.
A slight strong but chubby female came in with Jake Sully and another female that was pregnant and another male next to the chubby female, with two warriors.
"We can let you out of those," The chubby female began walking towards them, "But under one condition."
"What?" Prager was the one to answer because he knew if one of his teammates answered then they would say it rudely.
"You learn the way of the water, understand our culture, learn our language, and understand Eywa." The chubby female had looked at Prager up and down, something called out to her about him.
The recoms looked at one another, communicating, Prager looked back at the female, "What happens if we don't want to learn?"
The female chuckled and looked down before looking back at Prager, "It would be ashame to kill such a pretty face."
Prager, although was threatened, blushed, and once again looked back at his teammates who nodded their heads.
Prager looked back at the chubby female, "We'll learn."
The female smiled and nodded to the warriors and the warriors untied the recoms who stood and looked at the female.
The chubby female smiled, specifically at Prager, "I'm Kato."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prager wasn't stupid, slow maybe, but not stupid, he knew Kato was courting him.
Ja and Fike had teased Prager over and over, Walker and Z-Dog would tease him once in a while but not as much as Ja and Fike.
Prager had sighed as he walked in the water, he had quickly adapted to the way of water, along with his teammates.
They had learned so much and grown so much that they didn't want to go back to their old ways.
Prager had gotten into the water and began to swim; he had come to enjoy the ocean.
"Enjoying the ocean?" Kato had sneaked up behind Prager.
Prager had slightly jumped when Kato announced herself.
"The water is always warm." Prager had swum back as Kato had joined him and swam to him, "And beautiful."
"I see something more beautiful than the ocean." Kato had swum up to Prager who blushed and swam closer to Kato.
"And whats that?" Prager asked as he looked at Kato.
Without missing a beat, "You." Kato had grabbed onto Prager and kissed him.
Prager had slightly gasped but kissed Kato back. He put his hands on her waist as Kato's hands were around Prager's head.
Kato detached herself from Prager who whined, she had chuckled, "Be mine."
Prager nodded, "Yes."
Kato had instantly kissed Prager, happy he was hers now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Fuck!" Prager was on his back as Kato bite his neck, leaving her teeth marks on him, his orgasm so close.
Kato had completely stopped moving her hips as Prager tried to make her move faster with his legs that were wrapped around her waist.
"No! Please D-don't s-stop!" Prager begged, "Plea-"
Prager moaned out as he felt a stinging sensation on his thigh.
"Look at my little whore," Kato whispered into Prager's ear as she kissed his cheek that had his tears, "Begging me for my cock."
Prager whined as he once again felt Kato move her hips slowly, "Please."
Kato clicked her toungue as Prager whined, "Your doing so good, you can hold on for me."
Prager whined as, "I need more!"
Kato had once again brought her hand down on Prager's thighs, spanking him.
"I'am giving you more, Ma tìyawn(My love)." Kato moved her strap-on in and out, making sure she hit Prager's spongy spot.
Prager moaned out as he felt Kato hit his spot.
"Imagine Ma tìyawn(My Love), someone walking in and seeing you on my cock, begging for more." Kato's hips moved at a normal pace instead of slow.
Prager moaned out more, imagining what Kato told him.
"As if I'll," Kato grunted when she felt Prager tighten his legs, "Let someone see you. Your mine, all mine, your soul, your body, your mind, your heart," Kato had moved faster, "All mine."
"YOURS! ALL YOURS!" Prager had screamed out as he had slightly reached his climax but as fast as it came it went away.
Prager began to cry, "Please! Please! Let me cum!"
Kato had kissed Pragers tears away, "Shhh," Kato had given Prager a sloppy kiss, "You've been so good, darling. Such a good slut."
Prager whined as he moved his hips.
"I'll let you cum." Kato had moved her hips in a fast pace as Prager had moaned out.
Kato had bit into Prager's neck once more and Prager moaned out for the village to hear, "Kato!"
Kato had slowed her pace before completely stopping, she had slowly pulled out of Prager as he whined, his eyes closed.
Kato lovelying kissed Prager's cheek as she stood up and grabbed a towel and a bowl of water.
She had cleaned Prager as she knew that from their activitys he wouldnt want to get up.
Kato finished cleaning Prager and changed him and did the saem to herself and layed next to Prager on their hammack.
Prager whined and moved closer to Kato as he put his head on her chest, kissing her boobs.
Kato had waited till Prager's breathing slowed down before she kissed Prager's head and closed her eyes as she whispered, "Oe tìyawn nga." (I love you)
