wait. did,, did they,, ommit the six white lancers that died trying to stop the mastodons? which then led to lloyd refusing to have more people sacrifice themselves in his place?? using his authority for iirc the first time to order sir blanc to retreat and leave him behind to deal with the problem?? which is one of the reasons javier is so pissed off later on??? the event that is one of lloyd's best character defining moments?? which resolution eventually leads to sir blanc implying he'd be willing to switch his loyalty to lloyd if he so asked???

did they just ommit that?!?!
