#979.#ds liveblogging.#liz and rog really have to watch each other's kids suffer the same cyclical fate huh.#i'm particularly moved by the parallels between carolyn's marriage and roger's.#having to leave collinwood – to run elsewhere; parted from the house; from liz – where the collins name means nothing.#with a marriage that is ... well. beset.#although at any rate there seems to be at least a Little more earnest affection between carolyn and jeb.#(though to what extent it's only infatuation and not love... well! roger was infatuated by laura too!)#and we see how well that worked out for everyone.
