Just finished The Kingdoms by Natasha Pulley (thanks to @tracle0 for the rec!) and anyway I'm insane now
#book recs#literally indescribable. unlike any other book I've ever read#like it kept going in a different direction than I though it would#like okay we're doing this now. even better!#also love books where it's not a dramatic reveal but a slow realization#love me some memory loss trope as well mmm delicious#and so many individually good scenes. like the bomb scene for example#excellently crafted tension#an emotional roller coaster for sure I literally dreamed about this book last night#when I had to stop at like the 80 percent mark
