#i had a dream last night that can only be described as an adhd anxiety nightmare#i went to a dvd rental place with some friends#we all picked out movies and were lined up to pay#(I picked Of an Age. guess i subconsciously wanna watch that soon. anyway)#first i got distracted talking to a friend and was surprised when my turn came up#then my wallet wasn't in my pocket so i figured i forgot it at home#but apparently i'd put it on the counter already for some reason and forgotten about it?#and then i was like Wait. i chose my movie but i didn't even grab it off the shelf#just one thing after another#i haven't been sure how much to talk about this but i'm asking my doc about adhd assessment next month#which likely won't pay dividends for many more months because waitlists#but my subconscious mind is convinced#literally in the dream i was like... do i explain this behaviour away with adhd? i haven't been diagnosed so...#personal
