spending half my day reading about stretch vinyl transfers and other things thinking about a cosplay i will likely not have the time or money to ever make... but i'm THINKING ABOUT IT

initially i was actually reading about them cause i stumbled across it while thinking about how i wanted to represent peter's suit in my art/fics and what materials he might be using (ended up deciding poly-spandex + stretch vinyl + careful embroidery (w/ polyester or stretch thread)) (and the lenses on his mask are polycarbonate and perforated latex with rubber frames) but then last night at 4 am i was like. WAIT. I could use vinyl transfer sheets, too! Theoretically.

#it's the big time/horizon labs stealth suit fyi. i'm not sure it IS possible though because sure they make stretch vinyl transfers #and they make glow in the dark vinyl transfers. but they don't appear to make... glow in the dark stretch vinyl transfers...#and the glow in the dark vinyl rolls are all WHITE which is not good enough #do they make glow in the dark clear coat that stretches that i could put over the top... i'd worry about it not bonding properly though...#ah well like i said i don't have the time or money for this atm anyway so it's not happening regardless #''oh just make it not glow in the dark'' NO THE GLOW IS PART OF THE SEX APPEAL #anyway #on the plus side leather-look stretch fabric is extremely trendy right now so at least that would be easy to find lmao #will it be so in the future if/when i have any money?? who can say...#literally haven't even read that comic i just think the suit is hot - wore it for most of the ps4 game - and i know kaine wore it red
