The books: he was the ugliest little man you've ever seen. A straight up monster.

The show: casts Peter Dinklage, an extremely handsome man.

The books: she was the most hideous woman around. They called her a beauty to make fun of her. She's horribly unattractive.

The show: casts Gwendoline Christie, the most beautiful woman in the world.

The books: she was so funky lookin. Just the weirdest girl Jon had ever seen. Funky teeth. He did not like her.

The show: casts Rose Leslie, the most beautiful woman in the world.

The books: he's scarred all to shit and he's hideous. I mean YUCK.

The show: casts Rory McCann, an extremely handsome man.

The book: he's just some guy y'all. He's just a dude. All regular lookin and ordinary.

The show: casts Liam Cunningham, an extremely handsome man, and arguably the most charming fucker on the planet.
