First Meeting - Lionel Messi

Today was the day that Messi was gonna meet your parents. You both were sitting in your car, you were on the passenger's seat while Messi was driving. Looking at Messi, you noticed how nervous he is so you decided to talk to him in hope it will make him less anxious.

"Mi amor, they will love you, no need to worry about anything" You said, grabbing his hand, holding it tightly.

"Are you sure? What if they don't like me? What if they think you deserve someone better than me?" He said, angry at the idea of you being with someone else.

"Mi amor, im only yours" You said, looking outside the window, you noticed your getting closer to your parents house.

"We're here" Messi said, stopping the car at the parking spot.

Unbuckling your seatbelt, you looked at Messi to see him nervous again.

"Are you ready?" You asked, looking at him.

"I'm ready, querida" He answered, giving you a quick kiss on the lips. Getting out of the car, hand in hand, you both reached the front door. Knocking on the door, you stepped back, waiting for your mom or dad to open the door.

After 2-3 seconds, your mom opened the door. Letting go of Messi's hand, you immediately hugged your mom

"I missed you, Mom" You said, breaking the hug after a few seconds.

"I missed you too, sweetie" Your mom said, looking behind you, she noticed Messi standing behind you, looking at him up and down, she decided to ignore him and let you guys enter the house.

"Come inside" Your mom said, stepping away from the door so you can enter. Entering the house, you saw your dad sitting on the couch, you hugging him, telling him how much you missed him.

Currently, everyone was sitting on the living room, you went to the kitchen to drink some water, until your mom entered the kitchen, saying something unexpected.

"I don't like your boyfriend, Lionel Messi" She said, looking at you. You looked at her, shocked at what she said.

"What?" You said, completely shocked. She simply ignored you and went back to the living room. You stayed in the kitchen, your brain replaying the scene over and over again. You decided to return back in the living room.

Entering the living room, you noticed that your dad and Messi were getting along really well, currently talking about football. You wondered what your mom didn't like about him. Messi noticed you entering the living room, looking at you he gave you a big smile.

After a few minutes, everyone gathered in the kitchen to eat the delicious food your mom had made. While eating, your clumsy self accidentally spilled water on your shirt. Messi immediately reacted, quickly grabbing a tissue, trying to dry it. Seeing that it didn't work, he excused himself, going to the car to grab a jersey he had in there.

Coming back, he gave it to you so you could change. You went up to your room, putting his jersey on and admiring the number '30' on the back. You quickly went downstairs after changing, continuing to eat as if nothing happened.

After finishing, it was finally time to go. Saying goodbye to your mom and dad, your mom whispered something in your ear that made you happy.

"I changed my mind about him, he's a keeper. He's part of the family now, can't wait for the day he will propose" Your mom said, looking at you. You we're happy that she finally realized how much Messi loved you and cared about you.
