how do people read fanfiction it's genuinely been so long since we've read a fic that we don't hate
#maybe we have too high of expectations for randos on the internet.#but we genuinely cannot stand reading anything that is more than one stage away from publishable#like obviously nobody wants to read bad grammar#but we cant stand mid grammar#or even slightly stilted prose or unnatural dialogue#like yeah we guess some of the fics we've stumbled across do fit the bill of having good grammar and a well executed plot#is your wording just a little bit weird though? do you not yet have a perfect grasp of making dialogue feel human?#you're now on our blacklist#'it's just for fun' WELL MAYBE WE;RE NOT HAVING FUN ☹#a part of us wants to offer like#free editing services to every centricide and realicide fan#but that wouldnt be sane of us#though at the same time we really like leaving detailed feedback so who knows#WE ARE JUST SO PRETENTIOUS
