Playing DAI and truly in love with how you can just say anything. Truly in hatred with how you have no idea what the fuck you're going to say tho.
#you know like. the little blurb says something and i think i understand what my character will say and then the tone js super different#rarely this is a good thing.#like when I was committing a micro aggression and the option was 'My clan wasn't like that...' and to me that blurb sounded kinda sad?#like naive and sad and i was like 'sigh ok i guess.' but no it was actually a no true Scotsman#which was perfect because yes my Inquisitor would definitely no true Scotsman the practices of his/her community#like i was expecting it tonbe all 'B-but my clan didn't do any of that :(((. i guess we're Special and Kinder :(('#but s/he really went “Well MY clan doesn't do that; we are Good and Better and we just send our surplus mages to other clans or villages'#and got her/his ass immediately handed to her/him when the gal pointed out that yeah. that's actually literally doing it.#because when you send a kid to go to another clan you are functionally sending them into the woods totally alone.
