The only thing on my mind for dayyyyssssss has been, in order:

Stampede Wolfwood saying "no matter how heavy the cross you carry, you still deserve to eat and laugh";

Stampede Vash taking it to heart and eating for the first time since Juneora Rock;

and TriMax Vash's first action, after burning off a huge chunk of his life out of grief and burying his best friend, being to make dinner for himself and Livio.

#how can i not lose my mind over them....#like we've seen vash day drink before (or at least WW's acknowledgement of it - i think in the chapter they get stoned out of town?)#so like. it wouldn't have been an unreasonable reaction to lose himself for a bit #but he doesn't. he makes a point to care for himself and for his best friend's brother. and he keeps on caring for the rest of the manga #i just. i fucking. i'm losing it over here #vashwood #trigun #like i see what you're doing studio orange....... setting up the dominoes to destroy me completely
