Okay I'm home now and i can fully and freely type. Anyway mild spoilers for into the spiderverse i guess?
❌❌❌
Anyway uh. Yeah it... It was a tiny bit of a disappointment. It didn't do it for me at all. I feel like this movie is more of an art exhibit and i mean that as a fucking insult. Like sure the animation fucks my ears are ringing and my head aches horribly (that's on me for thinking i can be autistic and watch this on theaters) but like, the story man? It just so much (DEROGATORY).
It commits the sin a lot of spiderman movies make and that is that it bit more than it could chew. Not because they're bad at handling a complex story, but because they tried to juggle like 5 at once. And that never fucking works (my ear is still ringing and it hurts I'm in pain rn -_+ just wanted y'all to know)
Like it introduced SO FUCKING MUCH and it all was cool yeah! Just like electro was cool, and Harry, and Gwen, and captain Stacy. You know what in trying to fucking say? There's only so much you can do in 2 hours and you can just throw all you have all at once at the viewer because all you'll do is leave them disappointed wanting for more of that.
I feel like a baby. They show me this cool thing but nuh uh! Enough of that! Here's this new cool thing! But nuh uh! Enough of that- and so on. Like there were so many cool characters and ideas and concepts and shit but it could barely balance it all. YOU KNOW HOW BAD I WANTED TO SEE MORE OF THE SPOT?! HE BARELY WAS HERE!
It's like, you cannot fucking make a whole movie as the introduction to your next movie. That just sucks. You're setting yourself up for failure.
Like I'm just so upset bc it was full of amaizing things but it didn't fucking deliver in any of them!!!! And God don't get me started on the references. I think this was one of the worst ways to fill your movie with references. Like at least let me fucking process what I'm seeing if you are gonna waste so much time here, but also just... Don't make it so fucking blatant.
Like man i... This was a very experimental spiderman movie which i appreciate in a way but... It's not what I was expecting. To me, personally, it was disappointing. And also not designed at ALL to watch on cinemas. I think that last bit is just a fact.
I'm just kinda sad man. Like i loved Miles and Gwen's drama and i loved Miguel but I also wanted to see more of, you know, THE WHOLE FUCKING NEW CAST AND THE NEW FUCKING VILLAIN THEY INTRODUCED BUT SHOWED ONLY FOR LIKE 2-3 SEGMENTS MAX???????
LIKE HANDS ON HEAD EMOJI WHAT WERE THEY DOINGGGGG 😭😭😭😭
#luly talks#im sorry to the people who loved this movie i am so upset#on funnier news i found the spot is called la mancha in spanish which is funny bc mancha is what we call a common kids game#in fact i remember that the english name for that is tag we call that mancha#LA mancha#btw i did love Miles' mom having more of the spotlight it was like a little treat for us latinos fr#also. the amount of cop stuff was a bit too much. i wouldn't call it pro cop like some idiot i saw the other day but it. like. hm. y'know?#like this movie feels like an art project something you'd see the fans do and if they did you'd allow the imperfections#but it was made by an studio and there were expectatives in the table like it. it just doesn't stand on its own at all#I WANTED MORE OF PAV AND HOBBIE MAN. I FUCKING DID. HOBBIE ESP I HAVE A CRUSH ON EM#they/them too right? didnt really hear it well but I'm sure i heard em be called they#i will say tho i loved the pear shaped spiderwoman that was super cool#i did literally joke about being too fat to make a spidersona b4 watching the movie and sure she was a woman i aint but it was nice anyway#but yeah it just. it tried to chew more than it could bite. the spot was so cool tho#the spot and hobbie are my guys i love them#man I'm just sad i really am im repeating myself bc im too overwhelmed to retain thoughts so idk if im being clear but like#this movie had a LOT of good things but it delivered on nearly NONE of them#like just commit! you want this to be a story about Miles sure do that but just focus on him and that's it#dont throw in so much and leave us yearning for more bc now we have the old cast AND the new cast both and we barely saw any of these new#ppl interacting we barely fucking know them#anyway just SAD man

Ninjago Calendar FAQ
The sign-ups form doesn't ask for my Tumblr/Discord username and/or email. Where do I include this information?
You should be adding this information in the "contact" section of the sign ups form, when it asks for ways to contact you.
What if I messed up on my sign ups form and need to edit/change something?
You can dm a mod, drop an ask about it, or simply resubmit your application! We will always take the most recent application and discard any old ones.
Can we see some examples of what the calendar could potentially look like?
You can check out any of the previous year calendars from the masterpost!
What holidays can we include?
No explicit holidays will be allowed this year. Canon Ninjago holidays that have no real life equivalent are not counted as holidays. In fact, Day of the Departed counts as a "season" of Ninjago that can be chosen.
What seasons of Ninjago are included?
All seasons are included, up to any seasons that have been released, as well as any other canon content. This means this project is not spoiler free.
Some of the "seasons" that can be chosen so far (some of these shorter ones can also be combined). Note that not all the shorts have been included in this list, but are available:
Pilot Episodes
Season 1: Rise of the Snakes
Season 2: Legacy of the Green Ninja
Season 3: Rebooted
Season 4: Tournament of Elements
Season 5: Possession
Season 6: Skybound
Day of the Departed
Season 7: Hands of Time
The Lego Ninjago Movie
Season 8: Sons of Garmadon
Season 9: Hunted
Tales from the Monastery of Spinjitzu
Season 10: March of the Oni
Season 11 Part 1: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu Fire
Season 11 Part 2: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu Ice
Season 12: Prime Empire
Season 13: Master of the Mountain
Season 14 Part 1: The Island
Season 14 Part 2: Seabound
Season 15: Crystallized
Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 1
Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2
Can I include OCs or unnamed characters that exist in canon (i.e. Wu and Garmadon's mother)?
Unnamed characters that exist in canon are allowed. OCs, on the other hand, are only allowed if they play very minor roles that don't affect the main characters majorly. For example, having an OC for the enemy in a fight scene, or an OC as a waiter at a restaurant the characters visit. If you are still unsure, feel free to ask one of the mods or in questions-and-suggestions!
Do we have to be partnered up/Will we always be partnered up?
All writers and artists will be partnered up to collaborate on one month. The only exceptions are: 1) You are the cover artist. The cover art does not have a fic accompanying it, and as such, the cover artist works solo. 2) We do not have enough contributors. This is unlikely to occur, but in the event that we are missing artists or writers, you may possibly not have a partner. This is usually for artists as we tend to fill up artist spots where possible since the main aspect of a calendar is the visual art.
What are the rules/guidelines for the cover art?
The cover art should include something stating "Ninjago Calendar [Year]", "Ninjago [Year] Fan-Calendar" or anything similar. You may check past calendars to see how they did it. There is no topic for the cover art. Instead, the cover art should be drawn like an overview image rather than a snapshot or still of an action scene (Once again, you may check out the past calendars to see how they did it).
Can I share my wips?
You may share your calendar wips with the server only. You can drop it into the feedback channel to share with the entire server, or just in the month channels if you only wish to show your partner/mods. For the cover artist, you may also drop it into the cover-art channel. In fact, if you'd like feedback for your wips, we encourage you to share with the server!
Can I post my final, finished work elsewhere?
You may post your fics/art anywhere else after the calendar has been officially released (to the tumblr blog, with the google drive folder and AO3 collection linked)

Kriegsmesser
Tumblr media
When I received Kriegsmesser in the mail I finally googled "kriegsmesser", and found out it meant "war knife". Which makes sense; Gregor Vuga's ZineQuest 2021 project is a tribute to "roleplaying games named after medieval weapons".
I love Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay's piss-renaissance Old World setting. I tend to pick up WFRP-a-likes sight unseen:
Warlock (quality);
Small But Vicious Dog (yesss);
Zweihander (which I have come to hate); etc.
Anyway: I backed Kriegsmesser without really knowing anything about it. So Kriegsmesser surprised me.
+
Kriegsmesser grew out of a Troika! cutting. Its 36 backgrounds are compatible with that system: each come with a couple of lines of description; a list of skills and possessions; an a visual cameo cropped from actual 16th-Century woodcut art.
Tumblr media
Cohesive and competently flavourful. My favourite is the Labourer, who always starts with "an empty pine box":
"You've spent your life breaking your back, working hard for other people's profit. You have nothing to show for it but a spectre of the future."
(The obligatory ratcatcher-analogue , called the Vermin Snatcher, is here -- check that box!)
+
Kriegsmesser also comes with its own ruleset. Hits all the notes it needs to, with lots of orientation and advice for how to run a game -- but ultimately super-simple, mechanically:
Roll d6s equal to the value in a relevant skill, look at the highest result. 6 means you get what you want; 5 or 4 means you get what you want, at a cost.
It's not quite a dice pool, since only the highest result matters. No opposed tests.
+
Kriegsmesser intends to have this base mechanic handle fights, too. The combat rules - with armour, toughness and weapon values -- are nested in an optional section.
For a WFRP-a-like, this feels like a purposeful departure.
Many of WFRP's most celebrated adventures are celebrated for bits that their underlying ruleset does little to support: the investigative structure of "Shadows Over Bogenhafen"; the complicated timetable of "Rough Night At Three Feathers".
Tumblr media
Ludwig von Wittgenstein never needed a statblock to be memorable.
Not to say that lethal, hyper-detailed fights isn't super Warhammer-y. (Kriegsmesser includes an injury table, broken down by body-part -- check that box!)
But here it feels like Gregor is saying: "I'm not Games Workshop and Roleplay isn't an ancillary of Warhammer Fantasy Battle; we can evoke grim-and-perilous-ness even if we fork away from heavy combat rules."
+
Tumblr media
It has become ritual for me to read my partner Sharon to sleep.
Sometimes I read her RPG things. The other night, after I read her Kriegsmesser's introduction --
" The Empire wages an eternal war against Chaos. Its priests preach of Chaos as an intrusion, something unnatural ... These men see Chaos in anything that does not buttress their rule. They call it disorder, anarchy, corruption. They say that to rebel against their order is to rebel against god and nature. That the current arrangement is natural, rather than artificial.
" Meanwhile, the common people look to the Empire to deliver the justice that they were promised and they find none. They look to the Empire and do not see themselves reflected in it. They look around at what they were taught was right and good and see only misery.
" Their world begins to unravel. Chaos comes to reside in every heart and mind sound enough to look at the world and conclude it is broken. "
-- Sharon remarked: "Nice one."
The RPG things I read her generally leave Sharon lukewarm. She has enjoyed a couple -- but, yeah: for many of these books, text isn't their strong point.
Kriegsmesser is the only time I can recall Sharon praising the writing of an RPG book without my prompting.
Nice one.
+
That introduction surprised me. It underlines Kriegsmesser's biggest departure from its WFRP-a-like pedigree: how it characterises Chaos.
Corruption, a mainstay of most grim-dark-y games, is made an optional rule, like combat. Explaining this, Gregor writes:
" Kriegsmesser partially subverts or deconstructs the traditional conceit of Warhammer where the characters are threatened by the forces of Chaos. In this game it is the player characters who are the agents of 'Chaos': they are likely to become the 'rats' under the streets, and the wild 'beast-men' in the woods bringing civilisation down. It's the Empire and its nobles and priests that are corrupt ... "
Describing the Empire, Gregor writes:
" The Empire encompasses the world yet is terrified of the without. It enforces itself with steel and fire yet considers itself benevolent. It consumes the labour of others with bottomless hunger yet calls its subalterns lazy, or wasteful, or greedy. "
Holy shit this is the first time I've seen the word "subaltern" in an RPG thing, I think?
I love this.
+
Rant incoming:
With every passing decade Warhammer abridges its Moorcockian roots more and more; nowadays it is "Order = Good" and "Chaos = Evulz", pretty much.
Gone are the days when chaos berserkers are implied to grant safe passage to the helpless (because Khorne is as much a god of martial honour as he is a god of bloodletting); Or that the succor of Papa Nurgle is a genuine comfort to the downtrodden; Or that Tzeentch could unironically embody the principle of hope, of change for the better.
As Chaos is distilled into unequivocal villainy, Order goons get painted as Good Guys by default --
Giving rise to Warhammer's contemporary problem, wherein fans are no longer able to recognise satire.
+
Tumblr media
When I was introduced to 40K, it seemed pretty clear that the Imperium was a Brazil-esque absurdist-fascist bureaucratic state: planets are exterminatus-ed due to clerical error; the way it stamps out rebellions is the reason why rebellions begin in the first place.
Tragi-comic grimdarkness. That was the point.
Nowadays that tone has shifted -- and you're more likely than not going to encounter a 40K fan who argues that the Imperium's evils are a justified necessity, to prevent worse wrongs.
We went from:
"Space Nazis because insane dumbass fuckery, also chainswords vroom vroom rule of badass!"
To:
"Space Nazis because it makes sense actually, and also chainswords make sense because [insert convoluted rationalisation here]."
+
Tumblr media
Even Fantasy Flight's Black Crusade line, which ostensibly offers a look at 40K from the perspective of Chaos, never truly commits to its conceit.
With prep you could play a heroic band of mutant freedom fighters, resisting the tyranny of the Evil Imperium --
But I don't remember Black Crusade giving that kind of campaign any actual support. Its supplements service the relatively more conventional "You can play villains!" angle; the Screaming Vortex is a squarely Daemons-vs-Daemons setting.
+
Tumblr media
This tonal drift culminates, in my mind, with Age of Sigmar, Games Workshop's heroic-fantasy replacement of the old WFRP / WHFB setting.
Here's the framing narrative for AoS's recently-launched Third Edition. Let's see whether I've got things right:
A highly professionalised, technologically-superior tip-of-the-spear fighting force (the Stormcast Eternals);
Backed by an imperialist military-industrial complex (Azyrheim);
"Liberating" rich new territories (Ghur) for exploitation by a civilised settler culture (Settlers of Sig-- I mean, Free Cities);
Justified because the locals are irredeemable heathens (Chaos and Kruleboyz).
I mean, that's a sweet-ass Warhammer setting. It's contemporary, laser-guided lampoon. Except it is played totally straight.
Tumblr media
In AoS, a literal crusade is justified as the moral good.
+
I think Kriegsmesser surprised me because its framing of Chaos -- as a promise, as the light of hope shining through cracks of a broken world --
It feels so fucking right.
Yes: its a subaltern deconstruction of the conventional moral universe of Warhammer -- but it is a take that is also already implied / all but supported in the various depictions of the setting: from WFRP to the modified title-crawl of Black Crusade.
I'm annoyed I didn't think of it, myself. Damn you, Gregor!
And I'm annoyed that more Warhammer fans aren't thinking it, also.
+
lmagine if Kriegsmesser's perspective stood on equal standing as the GW orthodoxy. Imagine if, instead of simplifying stuff into "Order = Good" and "Chaos = Evulz", GW did a Gregor Vuga.
You'd have a Rashomon-ed Warhammer, where villainy depends on perspective:
You are fearful villagers, huddled around your priest, muttering prayers against the wild braying coming from the trees beyond your gates.
You are Aqshyian tribeswomen, defying the thunder warrior towering over you, the foreigner demanding you bow to his foreign god.
You are a Tzeentchian revolutionary cell, desperately trying to disrupt a Inquisitor's transmissions so your home planet isn't destroyed by fascist orbital fire.
Tumblr media

"Trouble Is My Business" Review (Posted on 06-30-2018)
Jennifer Montemar (Brittney Powell) and Roland Drake (Thomas Konkle)
What a lot of people don't realize is how much energy, creative effort, time and money are required to produce a movie/film. Being a video creator myself, it's a ton of work....but the final results are incredibly rewarding. Producing movies is a natural passion; It's an art; It's a visual form of storytelling, be it true or fictional. Ever wonder why these made-for-web projects are getting all the viewership and praise? Peek through the over-hyped movies marketed every 6 yoctoseconds, and you'll find that there are a chock full of independent, low-budget and under-recognized movies that the film industry *wishes* they made. Ladies and gentlemen of all ages, I present to you this: Trouble Is My Business.
The story is about a detective named Roland Drake, played by Thomas Konkle, whose sexy client Katherine Montemar asks for help in snatching a diamond—the Orlov Diamond—that belonged to her family. Along with detering the corrupt, mob-laden black market, Drake contacts those who may have connections as to where this may lead to while keeping innocent and anonymous. During his journey are a bunch of people intercepting his path trying to get him killed, like corrupt police officer Detective Tate, played by Vernon Wells. The movie overall gives off that classic film noir—the early days when the story and the dark life of gangsterism were the goings-on (still goes on today).
There's a bunch of things that go on in this movie that mentioning some parts are enough to ruin the entire thing. While, yes, movie/TV/video game reviews generally contain spoilers, it is a rare instance that a movie this good challenges us not to spill the beans too much. A mention of one or two things can ruin the next plot, but however, if you've watched enough gangster films, murder mysteries and/or the James Bond series, you'll find that this isn't just another movie in contrast to those titles. It's a story with sudden twists and hairpin turns, it'll drop your jaw. I was in awe at the transition from scene to scene.Roland Drake played by Thomas Konkle
"Well, I can't say no to a lady."
— Roland Drake
This is likely one of the classic lines in this movie—a modest detective reluctantly accepting the meeting with a beautiful woman needing his help. This happened twice to Mr. Drake with two women who happen to be sisters. I won't say anymore beyond that.
"I don't like a man with a sense of humor. I find it almost as unattractive as a woman with one."
— Evelyn Montemar
This made me smirk, but should inform you the kind of people—family—who are incredibly serious protecting prized possessions in the underworld. Gangsters do not have a sense of humor, since their operations involve not saying anything to where CIA or FBI could spot suspicious activity going on.
However, in my world above, women love men with a sense of humor and vice versa. Laughter is the best medicine, and is part of the universal language around the world.
"Just because you read accusations in the newspaper doesn't make them true."
— Jennifer Montemar
I feel this should tie to the skepticism people ought to adopt in the real world. Ever wonder why some news reports are served as "distractions?" Think about that.
Jennifer (Brittney Powell) and her mother Evelyn Montemar (Jordana Capra).
Roland Drake (Thomas Konkle) and Jennifer Montemar (Brittney Powell) in bed.
Bert The Cabble (Paul Hungerford) and police officer Ostrowski (Steve Olson).
Lew MacDonald (David Beeler).
As for the movie, you can tell the budget put into making this. It uses a lot of green screen, but remember, that this isn't focused on special effects compared to, say, space movies or scenes featuring explosions and flying (hello, Transformers, Star Wars and Superman fans). This movie is heavily focused on the story giving homage to the old, black & white movies when technology was so limited, movie producers worried more about the story and the acting. It's not like that today—promoting A-list actors to give low-rated movies some financial leverage. Give me a break....
The story overall is like a roller coaster ride: Once you're in it, buckle up because there'll be some surprising twists and turns. Just don't fall off the ride.
Blu-ray Disc Features review:
There's only two options on the Blu-ray menu: Play Movie and Play Trailer. There's no option for Scene Selections which may bother some Blu-ray fans. Whether you want that option or not, it gives the viewer a requirement to completely watch the film from start to finish, and there should be nothing wrong with that.
Trouble Is My Business Blu-ray menu - Black and White and Color
You may wonder why there are two discs: One for color and one for B&W. Why not put the same on one disc? I figured that they wanted to preserve the video quality putting them in separate discs. Putting two of them in one disc sacrifices the quality of the film which, as you know, will turn off a lot of movie/Blu-ray fans (let's not forget that a Blu-ray holds 25GB of data and a DVD only holds 4GB). The Black & White version of the movie gives that authentic mid-1900s feel, catering to those who dig the classic film library. As for the audio, there is no option on the Blu-ray as it is strictly 5.1 Surround. Majority of movie fans, depending on your audio system, prefer 5.1 audio anyway, but if you have a simple stereo system, it works just as well.
A movie specializing in detecting lives of crime finding truth in-between the lines while extracting secrets from a bunch of sketchy people and a family is what makes this a unique story-telling experience. I really want to talk about the film but, again, it'll spoil too much. It was so good we screened the film twice (perhaps again, after this review).
I want you, the viewer/fan, to enjoy the roller coaster ride this film brings especially when you arrive at the ending. The best way to describe it—I can't believe I'm doing this—I'll quote the bridge and chorus from the hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift:
And he's long gone
When he's next to me
And I realize the blame is on me
'Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
So you put me down
— Lyrics from "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift
Enjoy that scene as it will raise eyebrows.
While this movie just released on Blu-ray as recent as this month of June (2018), some of you may have obtained this packaging:
Scanavo Blu-ray case packaging
I've personally never seen this packaging. From all the Blu-rays we own in our SHOWSOTROS! video library collection, this is a huge first. I thought it was an imitation but after doing research, this Blu-ray case is by a company brand Scanavo. I feel these cases are uncommon, but unveiling it on this review, expect studios and networks to invest and do business with them showing up more frequently at your local video and electronics stores. (Yeah, I was scared for a second fearing I got a pirated copy. You'd have to be a serious low life to still produce pirated copies in this modern age.)
It's been a long while, for me at least, to finally watch and enjoy something that grips you from start to finish. Now that we've brought this amazing piece into the spotlight, we'll likely see more of this story-telling style. Because of how much the story stacks up, it's good enough to turn into a TV series (you heard it from us first, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon and many of you TV writers/producers reading this). Actually, you know, turn this movie into a TV series because we'll definitely tune in.
This Blu-ray release is still hot, fresh and new. Grab your copy as we strongly recommend this movie!

first I'm just gonna start by saying idc if you like her music. its your prerogative and i respect that. i don't understand it but i respect it.
second there is no issue in being neutral. i have no issue with you ignoring her existence. just help me understand
princessy?? can you explain this to me??? sure she spent a majority of her career playing towards the “America’s Sweetheart” image but it came out that after a while her team pressured her and all but forced her to continue such an image. so i guess i can sorta understand the “princessy” image back in 2010 but now??? nah
personally i do not feel i am the best person to comment on the pride song - however there are many many lgbtq swifties. so much so that @swiftiesofcolor has a selfie night once a month of lgbtq swifties specifically. this song means so much to so many people but especially them. now i could see why you'd be mad if Taylor was only doing this to profit on being an “ally” but its quite apparent that she's so much more than that.
Taylor started a petition that many government officials have already signed as well as including numerous lgbtq icons in the video for her song. icons that would never be apart of something if the only purpose was to make money. Taylor does so much more than just wearing a rainbow flag and making a small speech about the struggles of the lgbtq community.
for example, Taylor donated $113,000 dollars to the Tennessee Equality Project, Taylor surprised fans and performed with Hayley Kiyoko at the annual Ally Coalition Coalition concert, on top of having Hayley Kiyoko as a surprise guest at one of her concerts during the reputation tour and supporting Hayley on social media saying “We should applaud artists who are brave enough to tell their honest romantic narrative through their art, and the fact is that I’ve never encountered homophobia and she has. It’s her right to call out anyone who has double standards about gay vs straight love interests,” d
Shitty lyrics?? again thats totally your opinion but you consider these shitty lyrics???
“You taught me 'bout your past, thinking your future was me”
“Well, maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much / But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up”
“you call me up again just to break me like a promise / So casually cruel in the name of being honest”
“And all we are is skin and bone / Trained to get along / Forever going with the flow / But you're friction”
“Counting my footsteps / Praying the floor won't fall through”
“You paint me a blue sky / And go back and turn it to rain”
“All the girls that you've run dry / Have tired lifeless eyes / 'Cause you've burned them out. / But I took your matches / Before fire could catch me. So, don't look now. / I'm shining like fireworks / Over your sad empty town.
“The water filled my lungs / I screamed so loud but no one heard a thing”
and theres so many more but i have to physically restrain myself so the post doesn't go way to0 long.
anyways the whole “Taylor Swift only writes about ex boyfriends” is an age old criticism that shouldn't be a criticism. who cares if thats all she writes about??? its her art, its her music and she can write about whatever she wants. and by they way??? Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Little Mix, Adele, Beyonce, Rihanna??? they and so many more all write about love and exes, among other things
but aside from that Taylor has 102 songs in her discography (excluding covers and songs from movie soundtracks, as well as her 2008 EP and Christmas album)
out of those songs Taylor has maybe 43 songs that are about ex-boyfriends. i say maybe because some of those songs are unconfirmed about what they’re about and they could be about ex boyfriends but they could also be about other things (i.e. i though Bad Blood was about an ex but its not so who knows really)
38 of those songs are about relationships and/or crushes
the remaining 20 are about friends, family, life, or other issues going on around her life
for example, Ronan was written in 2012 for a family who lost their four year old boy
You Are In Love is an amazing song allegedly written about Jack Antonoff and Lena Dunham
Shake It Off is about ignoring all the haters, the people who love nothing more than to tear you down and realizing that as long as youre happy, as long as you love what youre doing it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks
22 is about partying and having fun with your friends
The Lucky One is about three female artists, though Taylor has stated that it is extremely unlikely she will ever reveal who these artists are
Long Live is a love song written for Taylor’s band, team, and friend
You Need To Calm Down is about... well.. ya know ;)
A Place In This World, Tied Together With A Smile, Mary’s Song (Oh My My My), Fifteen,  The Best Day, Change, Never Grow Up, Mean, Innocent, Bad Blood, New Romantics, Welcome To New York, Look What You Made Me Do, This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things, and more are all about something other than ex boyfriends
and like i said who cares??? no one is forcing you to listen to Taylor. to say all she writes about is ex boyfriends??? okay??? and??? just say you hate Taylor and go
i literally don’t understand,,,, why people,,, don’t like taylor swift,,,,
