ER: Let's talk about Valentino. Inspiration, icon, example, rival? JL: I think he's the model for any rider. When people talk about Rossi, it's not like talking about Doohan or Rainey. They are talking about somebody even more special. Rossi has been an extremely important person for motorcycling. He has been an inspiration for a lot of riders, for a lot of youngsters. He has had more impact than any other rider in history, he's done more than anybody to help the sport grow and he has given motorcycling a whole new dimension.
