kishimoto kinda did something with oiroke no jutsu and naruko because it really birthed so many dudes who got weirdly horny for a guy who sometimes turns into a girl lol

like there's a whole gender thing going on here but idk how to explain it

but i know i find it fucking amusing

#i'd like to think this is all thanks to rumiko takahashi's ranma 1/2 #or even hisashi eguchi's stop!! hibari-kun!#like these are the two most influential mangakas so i'm not surprised their works got referenced as a trope #anyway... yeah. naruko as a phenomenon is interesting #sadly they don't really utilize it good in boruto or something because it'll be SO GOOD #to see naruto undercover as naruko but like... in a proper kunoichi's outfit #and the kids especially boruto being absolutely surprised by the seemingly 'perfect hokage' have this jutsu #in his repertoire lol #also it's such a good setup for fake dating and comedy... especially if we're gonna take sasuke there #this is why fanfiction writers so good #greatloverslieinhell did it the best with their 14 chapters uzushiogakure's fic #such a good way to utilize this jutsu to explore on gender body dysmorphia and heteronormativity #tmi tag
