like. just the idea that kris is this established character before the events of the game and that they've lived their life normally up until the player comes and takes control of them is so.

#something abt it is so cool as a narrative device especially now that ch 2 has started to lean into it #like there are things that kris wants to do and things they domt wanna do but they're left to the mercy of the player and thats sooooo.#its almost as if that message of ''your choices dont matter'' at the start of ch 1 wasnt directed at the player but at kris #dr #also. the idea that ralsei is also aware that kris is being played and cant make their own choices is incredibly cool too like.#GOD i love self aware characters
