When Silver finally tells Malleus about his true origins, wouldn't it be funny if the fae's main takeaway from all THAT is how he's technically not the older sibling anymore?

Like, Silver agonizing about the bitter truth, thinking he's unworthy of being part of the Dasomnia family because of his true lineage.

Meanwhile Malleus' thought process is basically: "If Silver was a baby when the fairies cursed him into an enchanted sleep, 400 hundred years ago, and I only hatched a mere 178 yeas ago, then does that mean I'm the LITTLE SIBLING?!?!?"

And then they all eat ice cream and go to therapy.

NRC School Newspaper: A Birthday Interview with Ryker Crowley

Happy birthday!

Thank you! I gotta say that this has been one of my best birthdays so far! I love how NRC celebrates birthdays, and since we had one yesterday, it's like one very long party.

That's right, we celebrated Riddle's birthday yesterday.

Yup! Me and Riddle are pretty similar in a lot of ways. Aside from our birthday's being one day apart, we're also the same height, and even some of our personality. I'm a big rule follower and pretty strict when it comes to my school work and grades too.

Are you two close?

Well I'm a Heartslabyul student and he's my dorm leader, so we see each other often. I'd say we get along pretty well, but I wouldn't consider us close.

Who are you close with?

I get along really well with Ruggie, Silver, and Idia. I'd consider them pretty close friends. Ruggie is always fun to do practically anything with, even if it's working jobs, he can make it fun. Silver is really easy to talk to and fun to hang around with. He's the kind of friend I know I can always count on. Idia is the one that I spend most of my time with tho. It's not intentional, but when you're playing your favorite game or watching your favorite anime, you tend to lose track of time.

What are your favorite games and animes?

Some of my favorite games are Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Pokemon, and Stardew Valley. As for anime...my favorite has to be One Piece. It's a very long one, and I'm not done yet, but I love it. I also like Black Butler, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Death Note.

Do you have any dreams for the future?

I want to become an author. I love writing so much, and I'm even taking writing college classes right now. I have a bunch of short stories that I've written and debated creating a separate blog for, but I'm unsure if anyone would even care about it. But I also have an idea for a book I want to write, so completing and publishing that would be my ultimate goal.

Speaking of your writing, how is your blog doing?

It's doing great! I say it often, but I never imagined I'd get as much support as I did. I'm really grateful to all of my followers who give me feedback and requests. I really love seeing their comments and responding. Hearing their thoughts, what they want more of, and interacting with them always makes me happy!

What's your most popular series?

Definitely my broken sibling relationship series. I'm honestly surprised how much everyone loves the angst. It started with Vil after a slight mention that I had an idea for how it could go wrong, but people keep wanting more. Those take a little bit longer to write than most requests, but I always love doing it.

Considering you've written so much sibling angst, if you had to choose someone at NRC to be your sibling, who would it be?

Oh man. That's a pretty tough decision, but I think I would have to say Malleus. He's pretty lonely most of the time, but I think if he had a sibling, he would be a bit happier. I firmly believe that Malleus would treat his sibling very well. Plus, I think growing up with him would've been very fun. I would've loved to be a part of Malleus' family.

Do you consider anyone in Twisted Wonderland your family?

I've accepted Crowley as my bird dad. I know most people wouldn't, but I do.

How are you enjoying Twisted Wonderland?

I love it! I've been playing for a little over a year now. I originally came to Twisted Wonderland through Obey Me, but I play more Twisted Wonderland now. I'm a proud owner of 25 SSR cards, and love the story. My favorite characters have to be Sebek, Leona, and Silver.

What are you talking about?

Don't worry about it.

Uh, okay. Can you tell us about your clothing style?

Sure! It varies from day to day depending of if I'm feeling more feminine or masculine, but lately I've been wearing a lot of Hawaiian shirts. My friend @l1ttleclouds actually made me an aesthetic board for my normal style. Take a look!

Nice! Are there any fun facts about you that most people don't know?

I always have trouble coming up with fun facts, especially ones that most people don't know. So I decided to come up with a few that people may or may not know; I love horror, I have a few succulents, and my eyes have two different colors. To clarify that last one, my eyes aren't two different colors, but each eye has two colors in it. Not mixed together, but separated. So about half of each iris is green, and half is brown. Fun!

In which Lilia and (Y/n) have to take care of an egg for a school assignment.

All goes well until Lilia starts being all smooth, randomly remarking that this is great practice for their real future child.

"Lilia, I'm back! How is JJ?"

The fae in question perked up when he could sense your presence nearby, able to spot your form standing in the doorway to the Diasomnia common room. Lilia hummed and quickly returned his attention to the egg in his arms, cradling it in the green blanket he had wrapped around the hard yet fragile shell.

While you pranced closer to the little crib Lilia had constructed for the small egg, quiet giggles of delight escaped your lips at the adorable sight in front of you. Your laughter brought a smile to Lilia's lips, and he immediately transferred your little baby to your arms once you arrived by his side.

"JJ is doing very well, dear," Lilia muttered with a large smile on his face, one that made him look as youthful and child-like as a small hatchling. As he watched you cradle the egg in your arms, gently moving it left to right, an amused chuckle escaped his lips. "I hope babysitting your friends wasn't too hard."

A wistful sigh escaped your lips, and you raised your gaze to reveal exhausted (E/c) eyes to Lilia, who merely furrowed his eyebrows in worry. To calm him down, you shot him a sheepish smile. "You know how Ace sometimes is... I'm sorry it took so long for me to come see JJ now." The embarrassed frown on your face was soon replaced by a grateful smile as you chirped, "But, oh, you're the best, Lilia! You make such a good father, do you know that?"

Lilia began to fan himself some air with his hand at your words, and a series of exaggerated giggles escaped his lips. "You flatter me, (Y/n)~" he cooed while extracting the precious egg from your arms again, and you let him do as he pleased; Lilia always knew best, after all. Cradling the egg in his arms, his eyes grew with wisdom and nostalgia, as well as a tint of sadness. "I've raised a few younglings here and there... but they've all left their nest already..."

"Aw, don't worry!" you exclaimed while putting your head onto his shoulder, your eyes trained on the egg he was carrying. "JJ won't leave any time soon."

Lilia exhaled in a melancholy as he rested the side of his head against yours, his eyes fluttering close in a moment of bliss. "And he at least won't burn my bangs like another youngling did..." he muttered between laughter, his chest rumbling slightly. "Anyway, don't tell Malleus, Silver, or Sebek... but I think JJ is my favourite out of all of them."

You pried one eye open and removed your head from the bat fae's shoulder again to look him in the eyes, a large and amused smile on your own lips. "Very much understandable." Covering your mouth with one hand, you did your best to hide your amusement in fear of hurting anyone's feelings. So, with a muffled voice, you wheezed out, "JJ is very easy to take care of, after all. We've had no struggles so far."

"Maybe it's because we're good parents?"

"Definitely!" you replied, your chest swelling in pride. "The professor will have no other option but to give us an A on this project."

"Besides," Lilia began with a large grin forming on his lips that showed off his sharp fangs, "—this is good practice for us when we eventually have a real child."

His words made you halt in your tracks, and a bright blush spread across your cheeks. Suddenly, the air seemed so stagnant and hot — so much that you thought you would suffocate. "E-Excuse me?" you cried out, embarrassed to the core.

Lilia, on the other hand, seemed unbothered by the sudden shift in mood, and he seemed unaware of your sudden flustered expression — or at least it seemed like he hadn't noticed. Turning to face you with a devilishly innocent smile on his lips, he drawled, "Yes. We'll be fantastic parents! I can see it already."

His brashness caused your brain to stop functioning temporarily. "Uhm... I—"

Before you could make a fool of yourself much longer, Lilia straightened his back and walked right past you, the fragile egg safely secured in his arms. "Now excuse me," he announced and aimed straight for the door; as he walked by you, you could feel his shoulder brush against yours — intentionally. A smug grin that you couldn't see adorned his lips as he exited the common room. "JJ needs to sleep now. I shall tug him into bed."

Left behind as a giant mess, you sighed and buried your red face in your trembling hands. "What a smooth talker you are, Lilia..."

►Yuu: (I'm glad they saw me as their friend rather than just isolate me. Perhaps that's because they're unclear of my position, but... even so, I'm still grateful they chose to stay by my side although I put them in quite a troubling spot. I'll try my best to help them as much as they did for me.)

►Grim: (That cat... he can be quite the handful... But he's actually a friendly fellow, even if his ego is just out of hand, he can be a good friend.)

►Ace: (You stupid first year. Stop throwing yourself in so much trouble. I seriously can't take a break when I'm acquainted with you now, isn't it?) *sigh* (It can't be help... I just hope he doesn't get TOO rowdy, otherwise he'll end up hurt and come whining to me.)

►Deuce: (The unfortunate one that gets dragged by Ace and his scheming, which leads to the both of them getting into trouble. He's... unfortunately quite dense, but his willingness and determination of trying his best is commendable.)

►Jack: (There's not much to say about him other than the fact he's someone who strives for power and his constant urge to improve on his own. That goal is mutual, but I seriously think he should remember that power isn't the only thing that makes someone strong.)

►Epel: (Don't be fooled by his petite and delicate appearance. He's one burst of energy, brash and short-tempered. Epel comes in contrast with his outer soft spoken front with his actual rough demeanor. I, for one, quite favor the Pomefiore first year.)

►Sebek: (He's too uptight. And seriously loud. All he could think about is his master, not even his own wellbeing. He's highly defensive over Malleus when I try approaching the fae, only for him to keep blocking my path which was quite annoying. I had to give him his paperwork as dorm leader but Sebek just had to be a prickly thorn... He needs to loosen up a bit.)

►Riddle: (Strict to adhere to the rules, and he's quite the control freak, no? While he is changing his ways, Riddle has a short fuse, he can be ticked off quite easily. Best to remember to show some respect to him, especially when he's having a bad day.)

►Azul: (That octopus... I swear. He called me so late at night, RIGHT after I finished the tasks Crowley gave to me and asked me to come cover Floyd's shift. I seriously stand it. He's sly, I can give you that, coming from someone who sees him up close during work hours. Best beware of him, and reject all his deals. I may be his friend, but I hate running errands for him all the time...)

►Jade: (Jade is... complicated. I get along with him the most out of the infamous Octavinelle trio, but he's quite a peculiar student. You can't always make a clear guess on what's under that smile. He can come across as intimidating, but he's actually quite a nerd when it comes to mushrooms. He won't show it, but he's fascinated by such. I guess as someone who lives on land, we neglect such daily organisms. Jade has helped me appreciate the simplicity of nature a bit more.)

►Floyd: (I swear to the Sevens... if he doesn't feel like going on a shift, he abuses his privilege of knowing I would take over. That stupid Crowley... I mean, my master had me help and cater all students, including Azul's Monstro Lounge. He's humorous, sure, but sometimes he just gets on my nerves... not as much as Riddle's, though.)

►Kalim: (He's quite naive, and a bit stupid. But he has a kind heart and a fluttering social butterfly. Kalim usually tries to invite me and Yuu to his parties hosted at Scarabia, but I'm usually busy, so I have to reject the offer. And I don't think I'd fit in a... hype party.)

►Jamil: (He's cunning and intelligent, a sly and resourceful person if I do say so myself. We're quite well acquainted, but I suggest you not always say something that would offend him. He might manipulate you like a puppet on strings, and... maybe quite literally. He's fear of bugs though... is pretty hilarious.)

►Ruggie: (That trickster. He hurt Trey on purpose, and I'm keeping my guard up high. Call me overprotective, but at least I'm not like Sebek. The incident has died down, and he's just really a joker. He is nimble and athletic, but he's a sucker for good food.)

►Silver: (He's got some pretty swords, and impressive swordsmanship. He's usually quiet, just the way I like, and he rarely makes any commotion which eases me in trusting him. He does, however, tend to sleep a lot even during class from what I hear. I hope he's found a way to keep himself up.)

►Cater: (He's a jolly senior who just loves taking pictures and has a flare for aesthetics. I have to remind him once that he couldn't upload a photo of me on Magicam for the public to see. It would ruin the school's reputation if they know of NRC letting someone like me in.)

►Trey: *heavy simp breathing-* (Unlike Riddle, Trey's much more lenient and laidback when it comes to following rules, so you're in safer hands with him. He's kind and helpful, he bakes really good treats, a flexible and smart vice dorm, and I actually trust him with all my heart. I just wished he sees me as something more..)

►Rook: (He's... very eccentric. I've received a lot of complains about him, and how his odd behavior seems to startle some students. After talking to him about the matter, I've come to conclude that this is just regular him. Thankfully, the complains have died down, but he honestly has no idea that his peculiar self scares others. And you know what? I'm not so bothered. He's actually quite nice.)

►Vil: (Vil's famous throughout Twisted Wonderland for his charismatic and flare he brings in his acting career. He's bossy, critical and very judging. If you're someone who can't take constructive and blunt criticism, don't talk to him about beauty. He will demolish you.)

►Leona: (For the love of the Sevens... I can't stand him. It's always him and his goons trying to make a ruckus on purpose for me. And he's so lazy, geez... But I have to admit, he's very strong physical wise, and he's got a lot of power that radiates around him, telling you that you should think twice before challenging him. You can call for me, though. I'll be the nightmare when he sleeps and when he's awake.)

►Idia: (He's usually indoors in his own room, so I don't see him often. He usually writes his complains via email, which is so much more convenient, why can't everyone else do so?) *sigh* (Anyways, he's paranoid of the outside world, but he's really intelligent. I heard he's a completely different person online...)

►Ortho: (He's a caring and protective younger brother towards Idia. I'm sure Idia must have done the same with Ortho. I'm thankful he doesn't cause a ruckus, and he's just a pure being. Just don't speak bad of his brother. You'll be facing hell.)

►Lilia: (Another weird senior. He's better than Rook, in the weird part, but he scares some students sometimes. He's not that bad, really, and he has a wide extensive and elaborate knowledge about magic history. Some say he's way older than you think he is...)

►Malleus: (Of course, one of the best wizards of the world. He's extremely powerful and intimidating, that most people don't talk to him. It's quite sad to see him being lonely at times, but sometimes he does like to have his own time for himself. He's actually a bit awkward when it comes to talking, maybe it's because he's never talked to anyone besides his family and bodyguards. Malleus is a kind person, and he's a good friend. Besides, he likes ice cream. A mutual liking.)
